Food tepid. The paneer had a weird taste to it. I think it was off. Ewwww. The naans looked like there was some trouble taking them out of the tandoor oven, pieces of it ripped apart. The biriyani gravy sauce was as usual just a bunch of veg undercooked with a yellow watery fluid. So yeah not great.

Best Indian Restaurant in Sidcup. Never had a bad meal there or takeaway. Love their special biryani, veg curry is quite mild. Good! Will make whatever u like; I ordered special Murgh Masala...with egg, chicken and mince. Perfect. Ty.

Tried Once but Never Again! Nan was hard and burnt. Lamb dish was like eating a tough dog. The boneless chicken had a bone my daughter found. The lamb dish was swimming in oil. Every sauce tasted slightly sweet and lacked spices and heat even though they had a chilly icon next to it. The only good thing about the meal was that the chicken was not overcooked and still tender but ruined by the sauce. Having lived in India and Nepal I cook all my curries but tonight I was tired and wanted to treat

Fantastic food. We had chicken tikka bhuna and chicken passanda (similar to a korma). The sundries are delicious and the food was delivered very efficiently. Thank you Mr Rannah.

The food came on time but was missing an item. One of the starters was switched - we ordered aloo chat and got poori aloo. The taste of all the items delivered was very good.

Indian food is personal preference - but the grub from here was greasy, rusher and poorly prepared. An M&S Indian Takeway for £10 would have won out

I spend a lot of time in Leicester, so I am always on the look out for a more traditional (authentic) dish, similar to what I get whilst there. . We ordered a Lamb Curry & Chicken curry and they were both ok but lacked flavour and depth to make them really stand out. I collected and the restaurant staff were polite, friendly and attentive so a good plus point. With a lot of competition in the area, unfortunately these guys won’t be my first choice.

There is no better Bangladeshi restaurant in Sidcup Full stop. Friendly good staff, excellent food. It it far more consistent than any other Bangladeshi in Sidcup.

Food was nice. Delivered hot, but forgot two things from the order.. drink and Bhaji. Turned up with the drink once I pointed out I didn’t have it.. then didn’t bother bro hung the bhaji to us that we had paid for! Liberty!! £25 later !! The restaurant is literally on our round 2 mins away.

Said that they knocked, didn't ring doorbell and 6 people who were in the house didn't hear door knock. Also rang delivery driver back 1 minute after I received a missed call from him, and he was already 10 minutes away? When we received our food we noticed we never received the drink we ordered. Called driver back and he said we should have answered door first time and he doesn't know when he will bring drink, just "later". Called restaurant, first man was rude, second man said we would have the drink in 10 minutes, which we did. Although it was warm.

This is our local Indian restaurant, we go every few weeks. The name has changed to Rani (wrong spelling!) they are always very welcoming and the food is fine. It is good value for money.

We ordered to collect our food, when we got there to pick it up even though we was on time the food was not ready. We were told our food would be ready in 10 minutes after 40 minutes had past we finally got our food! By this time we were both unhappy and hardly hungry anymore! Once we got home there was also a dish missing! Will never order from here again.

Delivery 40 mins late again!!!! No mention of a sorry or little softener and forgot one of the Saag aloo which I paid £5:90 for - not good!!

I'm a regular customer to this restaurant and have had a lot of takeaways from here and have always been very happy with my food but tonight it was appalling the food was disgusting and it all went in the bin I was so disappointed. Looks like I'll be finding somewhere else to eat from now on.

Pequeña, restaurante indio. La comida que pedimos tardaron mucho tiempo en llegar (aunque éramos los únicos comensales allí - preocupante), por lo tanto, no estaba caliente. Aunque bien presentada y sabrosa. Sin embargo, el gerente me gustaba cuando pedimos la factura y presentado nuestra tarjeta de sabor aunque fue mencionado por mí y acordadas por ellos que podría ser utilizada. Entonces, él comenzó a hacer excursionismo en que deberíamos de pedir más comida si queríamos utilizarlo??? - ya ordenados 'una botella de vino, arroz, 2 popodoms, pan nan, 2 platos principales pollo y chana masala seguido por 2 cafés y un chupito de baileys'??????? Él nos estropeó la noche y arruinó nuestra comida. Sentía que necesitaba tumbarme en una habitación oscura para llegar a esta comida. Quizás esto es por qué el restaurante ha cambiado su nombre??? Evitar

This is a long term favourite of mine (& my friend Martin) who frequent it regularly when I'm back in the UK. Good food, good service and a reasonable price.

First words on leaving 'we're never going there again'. A simply awful experience. Unless you like luke warm drinks, wrong orders, bland curry and slow service, do not eat here.

Nos costó un poco del personal que trabaja para mí para una cena Navidad en el Rishta en Sidcup, como uno de mi personal recomendado y que era conveniente para todo el mundo.Había un montón de personal disponible, pero no parecía muy desorganizado teniendo en cuenta que el restaurante no estaba lleno y ningún miembro del personal parecía tener un papel particular que desempeñar. Incluso la factura cuando pedimos nos llevó 20 minutos para llegar, después de varias veces de recordándoles que habíamos pedido.El restaurante tenía una buena distribución y la comida estaba bien, pero sin duda no fue la mejor comida india que hemos probado.Precio era razonable para todas las bebidas y la comida, pero me esperaba algo mejor para ser sincero.

This is the place to go. lived in Sidcup almost all my life and tried all of the Indians but this one tops them all.

We walked quite a long way from our hotel on Sidcup High Street to eat here due to an offer we'd been sent via an app on my brother's phone, and we were delighted we went to the effort.The food was fantastic - some of the best I've ever tasted from an Indian/Bangladeshi restaurant - particularly the Pepper Surprise starter, which I loved.Their portion sizes seem a lot more sensible than many other Indian restaurants I've eaten at, without an excess of sauce to pad out the dish and leave you feeling full as you try to force it all down.Though we had to wait quite a while between courses, it was a Saturday night, so it's likely to be their busiest time, and the staff were very welcoming and friendly.When the bill came, it was an absolute bargain too - it was hard to believe we'd had three courses in a restaurant on the London/Kent border for such a good rate (cheaper than we'd have expected to pay back home in Lancashire).As I said to them on the way out, it's a shame I live over 200 miles away because I'd probably be back regularly if I wasn't... and I'll happily pop by here again if I'm ever back in that area.

Nice freindly restaurant with a great ambience. The staff very welcoming and the food best to none. Lamb shank is amazing best ive had. If in the area must visit. 2 types of lamb shank tried 1 left 1 for another visit.

Food here is always good, staff very friendly and efficient, can even remember our orders from previous visits! Never long to wait between courses. Best thing its walkable for us and good value.

We live very close by to the Rishta and use the restaurant approximately once a week. I have never had a bad meal there. The menu is varied so that we never get tired of it. The staff are enormously friendly and helpful and I would recommend the place to anyone.

Together with 6 other friends, my wife and I had the most superb takeaway from The Rishta last night. We have also eaten in there as well and that also was an excellent meal.We have eaten in most of the Indian restaurants in Sidcup and nearby, and this is by far the best for every aspect. Waiters are always very friendly and helpful.credit where credit is due, Keep it up!

We are regular vistors to Rishta which is our local curry house and the food and service there is always excellent. They also accept tastecard for mid-week dining so great value too

This is our favourite Indian restaurant in Sidcup.We regularly use the restaurant for eat in and takeaway and have never been disappointed.we can highly recommend a visit .

This restaurant is worth a visit. We've just discovered it and have been there a couple of times now. A small and very friendly restaurant and the food is good and reasonable. The only thing we did notice was that the staff kept asking if we wanted more drinks even when we still had glasses half full. It's not a complaint, but something we noticed. Having said that , it wouldn't put us off returning to this restaurant. It's definitely worth a visit and one of the better restaurants in the Sidcup area.

Had a lovely meal here again , Amwar the owner always accomodating and always happy to explain the ingredients of the choices available,there are now new dishes to try as the menu has been added to. My family of four had their favorites and I savoured one of the new dishes which I can say was excellent,all the food was presented well ,hot and served on hot plates . The service at the Rishta is always excellent and I always experience the same quality when ordering a takeaway.

Four of us visited Rishta and 18 October 2013 and the restaurant was so disappointing compared to previous visits. The drinks arrived quickly but the very average starters took an hour to arrive - it seemed as though the staff were waiting for further drinks to be ordrered. The main course was okay the first time, however the subseqent experiences of the meal over the next two days were most unpleasant for three out of four of us. Neighbours have also told me that they have also experienced upset stomachs after recently visiting the restaurant. So that's it for me for Rishta either eating in or having a takeaway. Perhaps the letters in their name need some rearranging.

We have been going hear for about 2 years. We always come out stuffed the portions category size, the staff always friendly and polite, never feeling rushed or waiting for service, there are a lot of Indian restaurants around the area but we have made this our local !

Small restaurant in Main Road, Sidcup that serves quality food at sensible prices. The takeaway option also includes papadoms if you say you don't want them when asked! Regularly used on a Friday night.
