Ripley Antiques and Vintage with coffee in Sedgemoor

Sadly, my second negative experience. Very little antiques these days, clothes over-priced. The owner was too busy talking to a chum and taking food orders to engage with other types of customer, such as me, about the bric-a-brac, or my friends about the clothing. I made a special journey there and it was a real disappointment. I won't be going back.

I purchased 2 coffee's and paid £6.80. The coffee was freeze dried as the coffee machine beans had run out. I was not informed of this when I purchased the coffee's. Sitting down to drink the coffee my husband decided he did not want to drink his. He asked for a refund and was given £2. The owner informed my husband that this was half of the £4 she had charged me as she had informed me it was freeze dried. So my point is the owner lied as she had not told me when I bought the coffee that it was freeze dried and also she charged me £6.80 not £4!! Do not buy coffee from Ripley Antiques.

This cafe / antique shop has it all. The cafe / shop lies at an excellent spot at the medieval square opposite a must visi museum. Outside furniture and umbrellas have been carefully chosen as the colour is sunny yellow. The coffee is tasteful and the antiques in the shop are a must see.

Lovely village square in Axbridge, good Park ok ng. Magnificent crispy bacon egg and sausage baps! Staff were delightful and welcoming, God coffee and cake. Perfect still off on a cycle ride around Cheddar.

Great little shop with excellent coffee as a sideline. Browse the antiques, try on the top quality vintage clothing - always something to buy. Then sit in the lovely Axbridge square and sip coffee in an antique cup. Lovely location for walkers and cyclists of the Strawberry Line and visitors in general.
