Used to be really nice but recently became very disappointing. Since not accepting card (‘card machine not working’) 1. way too long waiting time - this has always been an issue so kinda ok when it was worth waiting back then but now questionable. 2. Sauce is not enough .. just dry and not spicy at all despite getting the spiciest one.

Rios is one of my go to spot in Oxford, really fantastic fast food! Their burgers are outstanding, especially the Frango, which I highly recommend. The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, making the experience even better. Definitely a must try.

Walking into this place is like watching a disaster unfold. The staff member ignored me until his colleague practically screamed at him to serve me. When he finally showed up, part-way through taking my order he decided to have a full-on conversation with his delivery driver friend to care about completing the order. I had to literally interrupt them, and then he says the card machine isn’t working—yeah, right. The food is okay, but they’ve clearly hired the wrong people.

Food is tasting okay, however this is more of a takeaway place. Strange also that it accepts online order by credit card , but will force you to pay cash only in the food place itself. Not sure I would recommend hence the mid range rating.

The food is OK I guess but 99% of the time they forget items or sm like they also get toppings wrong ALLL THE TIME like today they forgot my mozerella sticks the only reason I went but when I took the receipt it accidentally ripped so I couldn't use it to prove they never gave it to me even though I paid for them but they still wouldn't give it to me this is REALLY BAD service and I hope to be reimbursed for my lose

Sadly the food arrived cold, the drinks packed with the hot food meant the food was cold - also food appeared stuffed into a bag rather than placed - not a deal breaker, food was still reasonable

Chicken really dry just didn't eat it

The expected delivery time was 6:50pm at first, then they changed it to 6:55, and so on. Finally received my order at 7:30pm. Took them more than an hour to prepare a burger and fries!!! Will never order again from this takeaway.

ordered the meal at 12.04pm when the estimated time was between 12.45- 13.05 at my order came to me at 12.29 after looking for the driver as he had parked up at the other side of the road to where I was. the food came cold and very disappointed by both the vendor and the driver. I tried calling the vendor numerous times to find out where my order was but the line was busy on their side.

Food was nice and hot and tasted fresh even down to the salad in the burgers 10/10 would recommend

I know this is only a takeaway, and maybe I was just really hungry, but the Chicken and Rice box I had tonight exceeded my expectations so much that I had to leave a review. I ordered for pick up and ate in. I got the Lemon and Herb Chicken and Rice box for £7.99 - got 20% off my first order with the app, yuhhh! The chicken pieces had a nice crisp on the edges, tender and flavourful throughout. I didn't even have it with sauce because it was seasoned well enough. The rice was well cooked and seasoned too. It looks like a small box initially, but they pack it to the brim and it got me full! If this were delivered, it might not have been as good after sitting in a bag, travelling, external temp changes. Pick up the food yourself if you don't want to risk that and missing items - the staff are only human and it gets busy in there. Personally, the service I received this evening was great: efficient, helpful and kind. Worth a sit in if you're hungry late at night and the other fast food options in Headington don't tickle your fancy.

The burger with Beef patties was awful. The patties were as if they had no taste & were put directly on the grill from fridge (burnt as well). The chicken breast was fine with outer area a bit harder (again seemed old). The pero period chips were great.

Came on time for once. It's not really their fault it's the green road roundabout always causing problems. The chicken was tasting you get bigger size and more for your money than KFC

1 hour and a half wait for food with the excuse that they are waiting for a driver. Bloke on the phone sounded surprised to hear that I wasn’t interested in eating cold scran.

Ordered 3x loaded fries. 1.30 hour wait and no show. Contacted them and as our number was recognised they did not pick up. So used another number and they picked up immediately as they thought it was a new order. Said the food had been made and was sitting there waiting for a driver. Expected us to wait longer to have food delivered that had been sat for 1.30hrs. Total joke, avoid like the plague unless you wanna lose weight by disentry.......

Once again, this is my favourite place to order food from, in Oxford. The prices are quite valid in this day and age and the food is always very tasty. Thank you for always providing good service, and also the delivery was speedy and the driver was very nice

Most Fridays, we order lunch from this place, but our recent experience was disappointing. We placed our order through UberEat, and a pack of chips and a can of drink were missing. However, the main issue was with the chicken and rice, which is my usual order. When it arrived, there was an unpleasant smell that did not allow me to eat it. I thought it might just be me, so I tasted it, but couldn’t handle the odor. I asked my colleague to check, and they confirmed it. I had to throw the meal away and took a photo as evidence -cannot upload here it's giving me errors but I can show it to the store owner. Unfortunately, this was my last order from this place, which is disappointing since I used to enjoy the piri piri chicken and rice.

Chips were cold, chicken in both burger and wrap was burnt and cold, wings were burnt. We order from here regularly so very disappointed with Rio’s this time.

I decided to give try and ordered online, but it was a complete disaster from start to finish. finally arrived it was completely bland and tasted like it had been sitting around for hours. The fries were limp and soggy, and the supposed “fresh” salad was wilted and brown on the edges. Trying to contact customer service was useless no response after multiple attempts. For the price I paid, I expected much better quality and service. This was honestly one of the worst foods I’ve ever had

My favourite place to eat. The loaded fries are toooo die for (100% recommend! and I love their Piri piri mayo - it’s so tangy and delicious. Sometimes we get the family platter, which can be a hit or miss but it’s still really good.

I have been ordering this same dish for over two years now, so much so it was my favourite go to meal and I would recommend it to everyone.The last two orders this month have been extremely disappointing.The paneer has absorbed no flavour.The meal has no salt in it and the rice seems very dry as well. Also, the spice levels remain the same inspite of the choice. It’s a shame.I miss the old rice recipe.Sadly, would not be coming back again.
