The service was horrible and I wouldn’t recommend going there. They took our order and when after waiting for 40 minutes we finally asked when it would be ready, they said that something went wrong and our order was not processed and if we wanted to continue, we still had to wait for 15 more minutes for them to start our order from the beginning. . Almost an hour to get our 3 English breakfasts and 1 porridge on Saturday in the almost empty place. They didn’t even bother themselves to check our order.

Ocupado, muy ocupado el lunes por la noche en la acera de Walthamstow High street. De alguna manera, CC sirvió más de 24 portadas a la vez (conté) y fue muy atento y rápido en la clasificación de nuestra familia. El precio total fue de 26 para cuatro. . . . ¿porque? bueno, una cuarta parte de nosotros era un bebé cuya comida costaba 2, pero para el resto de nosotros, comimos una ensalada y dos no tres pizzas enormes, como lo aconseja CC. Eso es realmente generoso con su servicio al cliente. La ensalada griega era principalmente tomate - excelente y la pizza vegetariana italiana delgada y sabrosa. Vim com os meus pais comer aqui neste local depois de uma ida ao mercado de Walthamstow, a carbonara estava uma delícia, os preços estão mesmo em conta e o ambiente é descontraído, recomendo!

My wife and I use Rio regularly during the spring/summer and consider the quality of the food to be better than anything we've ever had in 'The Village'. Unfortunately, I think for many people, the idea of a decent restaurant existing in the market is a 'no-no'....it's probably assumed, wrongly, that only fast food outlets are to be found on the High Street. Considering the quality of the dishes Rio offer, I think the 'cafe' part of their title should be dropped....this is a Restaurant, plain and simple. Every meal we've ever had in Rio has always been presented beautifully by top quality chefs who have never let standards drop in all the years we've been eating there, and given the menu prices, which are reasonable to say the least, that's a rarity. The wine served there is always good, as is the service by the friendly, attentive staff. Forget 'The Village' with it's overpriced food and wine....try Rio, particularly when the weather's good and you can eat outside....you won't be disappointed! Figgis

I was shopping in waltemstow market. I went to the Cafe. I had a cup of tea and a cake. The cake was delicious. The place was quiet and relaxing.

I have been going to this place for years, it is by far the best cafe I have ever been to for coffee anywhere in the world, if you’re ever in Walthamstow, check it out.

This place is something else, you wouldn't say much by the front, although we can see straight way they serve good coffee by the number of outside tables and the difficulty to find one on a sunny market day. But... if you venture inside you will find a very friendly garden that is comfortable even on cold nights as it is heated and cozy. The food is very tasty, the service friendly, and prices are extremely attractive. Highly recommended. Perfect place for a brunch on a Saturday market day.
