The lamb was overcooked and very tough. But the rice and chicken curry were good.

I’m really sorry. The lamb was so tough and chewy. It was hard to cut with a knife and fork and with out hands was same. Rice was very overpowering with cardamom. However everything else was lovely. Possibly will try again

the rice was okay. the lamb in both curries was chewy and inedible. had a stale taste to the sauce ..had to be binned. won't order from here again.

2nd time of ordering from here and again it was lovely and delicious. Arrived earlier than the estimated time which is a bonus. Delivery driver is friendly and we all love his dog, coco. Will be ordering again.

Marked as delivered an hour before it turned up, which was late, so I'm guessing that they're playing the system to make their statistics look better. Rice undercooked and currys way way too sweet. Struggled to eat it.

Came across this takeaway during my morning grocery shopping .as it was closed I decided to give it a visit in the evening. As it was Wednesday decided to try their specials which was Papadum Onion Bhaji Chicken Tikka Masala Rice and Onion salad. The food was hot no doubt but the Chicken Tikka Masala was more of a Chicken Meetha absolutely sweet and no spice at all! moreover who puts coconut in this ! For a food connoisseur like me this definitely was a surprise as I expected this to be spicy ! The saving grace was the Onion Bhaji which was crispy and tasty . Worth a try for £10.50 but its bye bye as not gonna visit again

We always order our takeaway from here and have never been disappointed until yesterday. We ordered chicken balti, the chicken was overcooked and tough, we ended up discarding all the chicken and eating just the sauce. Usually it's so tender it melts in your mouth but it was truly horrible this time.

Normally order from you. Had to call restaurant up as part of the order was missing. I like my Spice but my curry was so spicey I couldn't eat it. I was disappointed. I think your description of the currys need looking at because you got currys that say fairly hot that turn up and are blow your head of hot. we was looking forward to our curry night and it was a right let down.

Curry had almost no flavour, everything was cold. Came with a side of the shits for good measure. Highly recommend avoiding this place.

Excellent food. Food was expected at between 25-45 past the hour. At 50 past the hour I checked and it had stated it had been delivered. Called the restaurant and was told delivery was on its way. Food arrived around 20 minutes later and was spectacular. Will definitely order again.

Mainly the food was delicious, however the Butter chicken tasted more korma than anything. The portion sizes are great. very filling

Absolutely delicious! Made our Christmas Eve. Lots of options for vegetarians and meat eaters, in fact so many that we will need to order again and again and again just to work through our “need to try list”.

I generally like to give 5* reviews if the food is good. Our takeaway is was generous in terms of portions, the onion bhajis were delicious, but lots of the other dishes were bland. The tarka daal was watery and pretty flavourless, the curries were ok, saag aloo was not very tasty either. Shame as this place is right next to where we live so was hoping it would be good. Won’t go back.

so I ordered. 1 mx Kebab starter, 1 mix biriani and 1 sag aloo. starter was good although minced kebab a little tough, sag also was very good nice creamy with the spinach soft potatoes with a little bite really nice, however the biriani was a let down, no spice to the rice at all and the veg curry was watery and thin. lack any flavour but had a little spice which was pleasant but didn't make up for it at all..

Unfortunately the rice was under cooked and hard and the masala was dry. I don't like leaving negative reviews but not happy with the food.

ordered a takeaway twice from here as our local curry house; the men inside are so lovely and kind, the food is cooked to perfection, all of their vegetarian dishes can be made vegan (apart from the cream based ones) leaving lots of choice, and they offer nhs discounts! highly recommend to all 🤍

Rice and Spice are excellent. Even their delivery staff are ace. I wish I could leave a picture of the quality curry we ordered because it was *chefs kiss* and this is that exact blend of goodness, spices, hearty chunks of marinaded meat, buttery bhajis and perky pickles that just make the evening magical. We were shocked at the poor quality of our food, the naan bread was ok but the chicken was hard the sauces for both curries tasted the same and it was as if colour was added to one of them. I don’t know what’s happened but we wont be using rice n spice again.

Accomodated me on a late night order and had it ready within 20 mins. Good levels of spice too, great flavours.

First time trying Rice and Spice. Ordered via Just Eat. Ordered Chicken Tikka Rogon, fried rice and Saag Aloo. Arrived in very good time. Fantastic food, full of flavour, lovely and hot( as in warm not spicy). Just the right amount of spices, onions etc. Thoroughly enjoyed and would definitely recommend!

The order arrived by a lovely lady, but because my WiFi was down I couldn’t get to the code my food was getting cold the lady said if I couldn’t find the code she would not be paid . It was Fish and Chips which is not nice COLD . She could see that I couldn’t get the code so she did the right thing and gave me my FOOD that I had paid for which is my right , but it is not right that she should be NOT PAID .

The food was ok however you do not get a lot for value £3.20 for two somosas is a bit of a rip-off. Unfortunately for what I paid I'm probably not going to order from here again.

Before I start I want to say I have eaten my fair share of Indian food. I love it! But my lamb tikka naga was far from a normal tikka. This was the first time I used a knife and fork to eat any Indian lamb dish. The meat was so tough and was cut in long strips like it was carved from a joint, not cooked in on skewers or in the sauce. Everything else was nice but I won’t be ordering from here again.

Food very good. Only 1 complaint. Coriander overpowered both curry’s.
