This is the second time I have ordered a takeaway from Rice Coming. The first time I had chicken and noodles with vegetables, this time I had braised pork and crispy squid (made my own rice at home). Both times the staff have been warm and welcoming, and the food was delicious and prepared to order. This evening’s fried squid was perfectly seasoned with black pepper and had a tender bite. It was packed with a slightly sweet chilli sauce and a garnish of raw chopped white cabbage and carrot. The braised pork was succulent and soft, slightly sticky and warming, so good. It was served with its own pan juices, including red chilies, and garlic. I live locally and this is definitely my favourite local Chinese restaurant. They have lots of traditional Chinese food on the menu that I haven’t tried yet, but I want to! I don’t normally review local places, but I was so astonished at the other review that I felt I had to try and redress the balance. You should definitely give this place a go!

This has to be the worst Chinese in London. My advice would be to have Pot Noodles or supermarket noodles than to waste your money going to this place. The food was cold and the service was ice cold. When we pointed out this out, we could hear the microwave pinging and certainly no sizzling of the wok. The restaurant closes at 10pm and it was apparent the staff did not want to be there or when we arrived at 9.15pm. However, at 9.54 we were told that they would be closing in 6 minutes, and were presented the Bill with a 10% Service Charge. Actually, you should look at the meaning of Service before you charge for it. The food seems to be all pre- prepared and microwaved. Please don’t waste your time and money.

I had a deeply disappointing experience at Dragon Castle and I feel compelled to share it. From the outset service was sluggish despite the restaurant not being particularly busy. It took an unreasonably long time to be offered tea. When it did arrive, it was served in a cup that had visible tea stains, which immediately raised concerns about cleanliness. However, the real issue arose when we were served the siu mai dim sum. To our absolute horror, after taking a bite, we discovered that the pork inside was completely raw. Naturally, we brought this to the waitress's attention, but she appeared to struggle with understanding English. I then approached the manager directly, who simply took the dish away without explanation, saying he would replace it. When the replacement arrived, the waitress informed us it would be free, though frankly that was the bare minimum. What was truly shocking was the lack of any apology or acknowledgment from the manager. He never returned to check on us or offer any reassurance, despite walking past our table multiple times. His indifferent attitude made it clear that he simply did not care, which was both insulting and unacceptable given the severity of the issue. Serving raw pork is not just a minor mistake, it is a serious food safety hazard that could have made us ill. The complete lack of concern from the management is quite astounding. I cannot recommend Dragon Castle to anyone and I strongly urge others to think twice before dining here.

I made the mistake of ordering grilled fish. Apparently I was supposed to have told the waiter when ordering that I did not want the fish too dry. The grilled fish was hard and dry. It was a waste of money and response from the guy who served us was very unprofessional even though he was a likeable character. Won't be going back here.

Nos alojamos en el hotel de al lado, así que el restaurante hermanas de graduación fue muy conveniente después de un largo día.
