Excellent place with delicious fresh food, which has been a true staple of the area for many years.

This is hidden gem in Chelsea, unpretentious authentic Italian. Must try the truffle tagliolini. I also liked the non sweet almond chocolate cake.

I love this restaurant. I’ve been coming here for years and the food is amazing. It is not only authentic Tuscan cuisine, but healthy as well. The kitchen use only extra-virgin olive oil for cooking. There are gluten-free options, vegan options, and the team are always welcoming and friendly and do everything they can to accommodate us. This is our first choice any time we go out to eat. Thank you for always being there, especially during lockdown when you supported my family and the community so well. It was great to see Riccardo and Petronella and my old friend Simon Murray.

Very homey and nice vibe. Great shelter and could still look outside and enjoy the environment. Sitting area was comfortable and service was welcoming. Food was presentable and very tasty.

I’ve been here many times in the past with friends. It used to be a great place. We were appalled, and can’t believe the indifferent service and mediocre food. Riccardo must have sold up. If that’s the case, the new people are running the restaurant into the ground. Such a shame. It used to be a destination.

The first thing that struck us as odd was that the half-bottle of red wine we ordered was served in a pitcher, decanted out of sight, and not reminiscent taste-wise of the one we ordered. We did not accept it. The waiter gave us the winelist again but did not return to take the order. The carpaccio of salmon (sushi grade, supposedly) tasted of nothing. My partner's tagliolini with clams was similarly bland. The pizza looked like a ready-made base, and had more taste relative to the other dishes, owing to the gorgonzola, nothing else. This restaurant does not deserve to exist. It looks promising on the outside, but the food does not measure up and the wine episode makes me think they are not honest.

Every time we are in London we visit Riccardo's. Last year as we left on our final night in the city we met a nice couple outside with their pup. "It's my restaurant," the gentleman said. "SAME!" said I. Except that it *was* actually his restaurant and we chatted, complimented our experiences there and headed back to the flat to pack. This year we returned for out fourth? fifth? time and again were rewarded with both exceptional cuisine and new friends. The owner, the people at the next table, the people who "serve" us -- this restaurant has a positivity to it that is evident in the food and the vibe -- and that can't be faked. The food tonight -- after walking around town seeing the Sutton Hoo exhibit at the British Museum we came back famished: Started with aubergine melanzana parmigiana and Tuscan chicken meatball polpette. This marinara sauce is amazing (yes, I make my own). Mains were angel hair pasta in portobello mushrooms & truffle and linguine with shrimp & mussels. Each dish was a separate statement, simple and yet satisfying. As I said, the food is wonderful and the meal is well paced. We finished with the delicious almond chocolate cake and cappuccino. We met Paz tonight and she and Gregorio, who we met last year, were both welcoming and attentive. Even on a Monday night tables filled as we ate. My impression is that this is mostly a local fav, which again speaks to the reliability of the service and the food. Thanks to all! See you again.

Delicious food and fantastic atmosphere, absolutely cannot beat it. Brilliant service cannot fault anything, my favourite restaurant and all time go to.

Having had a decent lunch here in the past, I decided to pop in and have a pizza. The trays of dirty dishes from the night before, stacked at the entrance, should have tipped me off that this place has gone seriously downhill. I was waited upon by a server who looked and sounded like she wished she was somewhere else. The Margherita pizza, though hot, was very non-descript and virtually inedible. I thought I was going to bend the knife and fork, trying to cut through the crust. Perhaps the place has changed owners? I was most disappointed by the whole experience, and will not return.

The restaurant was full of accomplished and fascinating people enjoying exquisite family style dinners with friends, and it looked like a few tables were heavy-hitting but cheerful business meetings too, and some very fashionable hot hot dates out for cocktails. It's no surprise, the menu was loaded with meals healthy and tasty enough I could eat them every day and maintain a fashionable fit body and live a long happy life. The staff was funny and fun and relaxed, which fit the mood at my table, and yet at the same time I have never had better service in any Michelin 3 star restaurant. I very much wanted to take pictures of Kate and many of the other world famous clients, but it didn't seem to fit the mood of a come-as-you-are but world-class restaurant. After the meal I googled "Kate Middleton Riccardo's" and found a pile of paparazzi photos from earlier visits, apparently she is a regular and typically enjoys the tuna. What an amazing dinner and what an amazing place, highly recommended for the healthy food, the world class service, and the star struck people watching.

We felt like an Italian meal, did some research and settled on Riccardo’s and were extremely pleased we did. Excellent and genuine Tuscan food. Fresh produce with a simple cooking style this restaurants casual, comfortable and not pretentious. The menu is largely the same each day but has daily/ weekly special.

I go fairly frequently to Riccardo's, because I have a friend who lives locally. We always have the most delicious food, and I want to write and say so! The owner is often to be seen, taking care of his customers and having lunch. There's a friendly, family atmosphere, and the service is always speedy and attentive. There's a list of daily "specials" and I like the way the main menu is set out - you can have everything in a small tapas size, or medium size, or large. I especially like the lamb cutlets with garlicky spinach. It's always hard to choose between the lamb and a pasta dish, as the pasta is really special at Riccardo's. A bottle of Italian rose is essential - and very delicious. Riccardo's is a charming restaurant which is very serious about providing excellent food, and I would recommend it to anyone.

First experience at Riccardos and found it to be everything it promises. The food is good, not a massive selection but more than enough choice. Dishes are perfect with choices from Tapas, regular and large, regular is perfect. Service and ambience compliments this restaurant.

Coming back from Tuscany, I visited this gem of a restaurant where you are made to feel at home. I was not in charge of ordering but everything was spot on and wonderfully authentic. The three of us were made to feel special and the food was fresh and delicious, the wine was great too. We all tried each other’s dishes and we enjoyed the convivial atmosphere and it was like being back in Florence, fantastic.

Looking for a coffee this morning and walked into Riccardo’s. Unbeknown to me they were actually closed - but that did not stop the friendly staff offering to make me one anyway. When I turned it down and apologised, they insisted on making it still and even put it on the house. Completely unexpected and so friendly. Great coffee too!! Service is always attentive but not obtrusive, ingredients are fresh, dishes flavourful and the atmosphere is convivial. I always feel welcome at this restaurant which is no small feat. This restaurant is obviously very (deservedly) popular but luckily for us they found us a table . What a find, the food was superb! We both had fish dishes which were perfectly cooked and beautifully tasty, and the desserts were to die for. The service was absolutey spot on. Would highly highly recommend visiting this gem of a restaurant, we'll definitely return next time we're in London.

Very nice food, it’s not fabulous- but perfectly good. The menu for appetisers (‘tapas’ size) and mains (‘regular’ and ‘large’) are all on one menu which is an interesting way of having to select your choice.

Riccardo's is a place where you can go on a date, celebrate with friends and spend time with family, I have gone through most of their menu and there isn't a single dish I haven't found delicious. The freshness of the ingredients is tasted in every bite, from starters to dessert. All dishes can be enjoyed as a starter, main course or to share. My favorite is the Pappa al Pomodoro, a thick tomato soup with basil, which I sometimes enjoy as a starter, sometimes as a main course. I highly recommend Riccardo's.

Great Italian Tuscan food, ambience and service at Riccardo's. It is one of our favourite restaurants and has a fibrant buzz in this charming part of London. The prices are very reasonable and the atmosphere is always warm and friendly. It is a popular restaurant an we always have fond memories of our times spent here.

My wife and I together with friends visited this italian restaurant for lunch. We all agreed that the food and the service was good but nothing more.

We've been here twice. Firstly, just because we were passing, in Dec 18 and again this January because it was so good the first time. It's a friendly atmospheric venue with good service - but the main attraction is the authentic food at reasonable prices. Recommended mains are the venison ragu and the lamb cutlets with spinach. It's not on their main menu but check the specials to see if they are serving Baileys pannacotta for dessert as it's fantastic - extremely rich, thick and creamy with a salted caramel sauce. Their coffee is very good too.

Lots of expectations for this restaurant as it was recommended by a friend. We ordered a starter of artichokes and ham to share, plus one main each (tomino cheese with beetroots and walnut, and a cotechino with lentils - Christmas specials).

We took my parents in law for a pre-Christmas lunch with our children (9 and 7). I had been before with just my husband and we had really enjoyed it. If anything, this visit was even better We were seated near the door which was ok but they said they would move us, and they did, to a much warmer table in the front section. My mother in law brought her dog who was very warmly welcomed with a bowl of water. The food was amazing - what a great idea to have different sizes of the same dish - so children can have small, adults medium or large for a main. My venison was absolutely delicious and just the right amount, but my husband (vongole) would have liked a bigger bowl. We just love this restaurant - it's so friendly, the staff are not all over you but just very good at their job (it isn't easy to get it right). For such an expensive area it's a very authentic stand alone restaurant, I just wish there were more of this type of one off restaurant around, rather than the bland chains we get on every high street.

Most friendly place to eat and they welcome dogs with a bowl of water such an unusually great beginning to an evening!! Followed by delicious food, delightful waitresses and waiters, entertaining and upbeat with a very good vegeterain and vegan menus - I cant fault the place - always a charming experience.

An Italian restaurant with good food. It is a popular neighbourhood restaurant and it is warm and cozy and the staff is exceptional. It just makes one happy to go there. The menu is varied and there is certainly something for everyone there. They go out of their way to accommodate special wishes and dislikes. The owner, Riccardo, often dines there with his wife. It is excellent value. They even remember your birthday!

This is my top neighbourhood restaurant to go to. Perfect for a friendly, cosy dinner. Also allow dogs day or nighttime! Super friendly staff and the most delicious food.

Simple decor. Lot of staff & good service. Good size seating area under a canopy which I assume opens during the summer. Interesting menu with 3 portion sizes all on one page. Separate monthly specials menu. I had a simple Spelt Pizza. Frankly, disappointing. Pizza base was the primary taste (See picture 7 & 8 below) as tomato and cheese was too thinly spread and did not cover the base. It also should have been hotter. Disappointing as you go there to eat! Better side of average but my rating is average.

Went for dinner with friends. Service terrible. Food worryingly quick. Not piping hot but Luke warm. Pizzas disgusting. Pudding Luke warm and horrrible. Definitely would not go again given the variety of food establishments in that area much better.

Lovely restaurant that's cosy and charming with food that's tasty and "comfy" in a home-cooking sort of way. The variety of food is a delight and you'll be hard pressed not to find something you like in a snap! Portions are generous and flavours are good, though the pastas are a tad salty. The desserts all look yummy, but their Tiramisu is best! Perfectly balanced -- rich in coffee and liquor, not too creamy, perfectly moist. The recipe must be handed down from centuries past. That's how good it is!

There is everything to love about Riccardo's, a restaurant which epitomises London life at its stylish best. Riccardo's Restaurant ist - wie andere Leser bereits bemerkt haben - stets ausgebucht, die Tische eher sehr dicht gedrängt, gelegentlich auch unangenehm laut, also nicht der ideale Ort für einen ruhigen Abend. Das Serviceteam ist sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Einzigartig schmeckt hier z.B. eine Pumpkin Soup - völlig anders zubereitet als in Österreich üblich, aber wirklich köstlich. Diese Tatsache trifft ebenso auf die Gemüsesuppe zu, völlig andere Konsistenz, aber geschmacklich ein Hit.
