Ribs&Burgers in Richmond upon Thames

Arrived to order a take away but was told the wait might be long as short of staff. Ordered anyway as food is normally really good but this time got home only live up the road and when we dished the food up it was cold £10 wroth off chips went straight in the bin as did the half eaten burgers waste of £38 . Tried phoning but no answer after 3 attempts shame because they wasn't even busy at 18:30hrs gutted

Not sure I can find anything negative about this restaurant. Food was excellent, portion sizes generous, service good and friendly, price very fair. We’ll be back

Having been here once before and been disappointed I visited again with my partner who is a regular. This time was much better, the burgers and chips are nice and our server Chloe was very attentive and friendly

The food was so good. The burgers, ribs, chicken strips and even the chips. Freshly cooked in front of you and friendly staff. Will definitely be visiting again.

A great meal Although the toilet experience was not good A shared toilet for male/female/disabled. The sanitation and paper dispenser were inappropriate and would not dispence adequately at either, the seat or sink

Best Restaurant in the Teddington. Food ALWAYS and I mean ALWAYS comes hot. Service here is 5 Star. And the people that work at the place are so lovely and well mannered. I will never forget how welcoming the waitress was.

Food is scary. Not fresh, but the most important you will see when come in - rude and unfriendly staff.

Just In front of me, family was kicked out of the restaurant as they did to have reservation but were already sited. Rude and dodgy place.

On our way back from weekend at Chessington safari hotel break driving home we passed at ribs and burgers and where asked to wait for 5 minutes and was happy that we did wait because the service from Tom was excellent he was patient, knowledgeable and friendly. The food was tasty, hot and cooked to perfection. The other staff where friendly and as an open kitchen there was a sense of team work. The potions were humongous and I could not finish all of it and took some home. We had the beef combo and pork combo the burgers could be twicked to our liking so I added avocado and my son added bacon. The wings made me speechless the chilliest was lovely. My nephew had the Aussie burger with loaded fries with fresh fresh chutney. The meat was So tasty and fell of the bone. This place is a hIdem gem and if you looking for a tasty meal and friendly staff that make you feel at home look no further.

Website asking to avoid any reservations. NO RESERVATIONS ACCEPTED! Came in. They asked us to leave as we didn't have reservation. It was mean! It was rude!

Ordered on Deliveroo, fantastic presentation and quality was superb....even if burger edges were well done! Can’t wait to go in person...

I am writing this review because in the last year I have been here about 10 times. Every time i go I am welcomed by amazing staff and amazing food! Me and my best friend just love it here. We love the burgers and honestly it always makes my FRiday night!!!! I really hope more branches open in Central london so I can take my work!!! But honestly Love the food!!! Really wanna go again this week but I already went last week! The Old School CHeese is my FAV!!!!!

Visited here last night after not visiting for a while. No particular reason for not visiting more often, but I see a burger as a real treat. Great menu, lots of different variations of burgers and ribs. Being vegetarian, it’s hard to get a different kind of vegetarian burger than run of the mill, but I always order the vegetarian stack , absolutely delicious, really innovative burger, halloumi cheese, mushroom , garlic Alioli, Spring onions, salad, and the most delicious onion rings I’ve ever tasted. Oh. My. God. Partner had the mighty cheese, and said the meat was of great quality and really enjoyed it, we also ordered us a large fries between us - the portions are huge. Very clean, spotless cutlery, and the toilets were kept very clean too. Thanks to Jon B for looking after us, lovely lad, very chatty and polite. Love this place.

Burgers were delicious but could have been warmer, unsure if the salad was refrigerated and cooled the rest of the burger.. Was quiet at 3pm on Saturday, not much atmosphere but I imagine it could have more atmosphere in the evening. Very clean and polite staff

The interior is clean and spacious and our waitress was very friendly and helpful with regard to allergens. The food and drinks also came to the table quickly.We both had the half pork ribs, me with the apple and cabbage salad and my other half with the chips. The ribs were okay, nothing special, the sauce was a standard packet BBQ sauce, honestly the kind of thing you could buy from a supermarket that would probably be nicer. The chips again, nothing special, very similar to Burger King chips I would say, so perhaps the same supplier. The salad was frankly horrid, it was extremely salty and I don't know what kind of dressing was used in it but it tasted very strange and really wasn't nice at all.For somewhere that has ribs in the name I'd expect something a bit better than an oven cooked rib quickly shoved under a grill to give it charcoal marks slathered in a packet sauce and served with an inedible salad. Disappointing.

Have been getting takeaways from here for around 3 years. From the first time of calling to just a couple of weeks ago, when I ask whether I can have the burger cooked medium rare, they state that they are waiting on the council to make a decision, That's a very long time to wait for something so important to your restaurant.Isn't it about time you either chased the council up or stopped using the same excuse. Or could you give me the name of the contact in the council so I can chase them up,Your ribs are tasty but the burgers tend to be dry and tasteless.If GBK can cook burgers however you want them why can't you?

Well worth a visit . A nice relaxed atmosphere with good polite, friendly customer service. Delicious burgers full of flavour , quality meat used with a good selection to suit everyone’s taste.Tasty ribs nice and tender falling off the bone. My son's choice of venue to celebrate his GCSE success. Everyone enjoyed their meals, I chose the vegetarian burger which was a delicious mix of Portobello mushroom and halloumi cheese.

Love this place, we visit every time we visit our daughter. Not to expensive and the food is tasty, fresh and service is efficient.

My wife booked us a table here as a surprise lunch for me as was Fathers day. The food was fantastic "best ribs" as was the portion sizes, and the milkshakes where brilliant and the prices are very reasonable. We allready looking forward to returning 10/10.

I ordered a takeaway which, to be fair arrived quickly. However there was an item missing. The restaurant really couldn’t have cared less suggesting that I either wait and see whether the missing item turned up, or went ahead and ate the rest of the food then ate the missing item if and when it turned up. This was the second and last time I will order from this restaurant as the first time I tried to (about a year ago) they had no ribs left (Saturday afternoon). Shambolic.

Never used their online option before but so easy. Select your collection time, then what you’d like from the menu and quick payment and you’re done. Great to be able to select what extra burger options you can add, tailor made to your own taste. As always our ribs, burgers and sweet potato fries were delicious. Can’t fault it.

This was my second visit to ribs and burgers, the first time I came I was beyond impressed with the professionalism of staff (knowing the menu back to front) Reece our server was very friendly just like the rest of the staff,

Visited on a Sun evening, quite late towards closing time. Friendly welcome, sat in the front near to the till. Restaurant clean and tidy, ordered at till and a short while later food arrived. Ribs and burger were very good, coleslaw tasted fresh and sweet potato fries nice and crispy. Relaxed atmosphere and much better food than the popular branded places.

Been wanting to try for a while and my son decided he wanted to go here for his birthday.

I must have been past this restaurant so many times that I have lost count, and never been in. So, when I got taken for lunch here, yesterday, by a networking colleague of mine, I was looking forward to the experience.

Teddington has long needed a great burger place and this is it So much better than getting dragged into 5 Guys! Good value - better in than delivered, but that’s no different to any burger place Definitely worth a try

Had a vegan burger and it was one of the best meals I’ve had. My friend had a chicken burger and loved it too. The staff and service are exceptional on the floor and in the kitchen. Clean place with a great atmosphere. New favourite place to eat despite not eating meat. I would really recommend.

My first visit. This was an early evening family birthday dinner. No need to book and just turn up. It was fairly quiet but it was Monday. Decent menu featuring the exact type of items you would expect based on the restaurants name. Ribs were good if a touch expensive in comparison. Burgers were good. Generous portions of fries. Excellent service. There also seemed a brisk take away trade.

Burgers and rigs are good and I recommend the onion strings as well. The last time I was there I go the veggie burger because is sounded good...and it was very good. I will probably get it next time I am there. I also recommend their milkshakes as they are proper thick shakes not not just runny milk.

Loved the clean environment and friendly atmosphere. Did did not disappoint. We had ribs and burger and vegetarian burger.... was very good all round. Will be back

After a house move, we ordered a takeaway/ delivery from here. I’m a vegetarian and ordered a vege stack burger & corn on the cob. Absolutely fantastic. Special mention goes to the fried onion too!

The shakes are only outshone by the fries in this great ribs and burger restaurant. The ribs were fabulous, and the sauce is delicious and sticky. Friendly staff, easy to understand menu and very fast service. Loved the milkshakes which are not cheap, but they are really really good. Highly recommend the pork ribs.

This is a fantastic little place. The quality of the food and cooking is high, and everything on the menu is well thought-out. Current deal of beef/pork ribs, slaw and fries really smashes it out of the park on flavour/tenderness and quantity. It’s less than a tenner, and most pubs would be charging at least £15 for something similar. Good value burger meal for kids too, and milkshakes are delicious.

I went here with my boyfriend as we were hoping to find good ribs.

I go to R&B; because I feel the girl in reception is amazing. She remembered our order after the third visit and the food is always nice. She smiles and has got amazing customer services skills.

I like to support local businesses, and really wanted to support this place, but after the amount of disappointments we have had it was time to come to the conclusion they don't really care about their service and to share this.

So I was sitting at home and craving meat and milkshake, so I looked on deliveroo and saw that this place was on there. So glad I ordered from here. Ok originally they forgot the milkshake and the appleslaw. But I couldn't wait to tuck into the beef ribs and chips. Although it's expensive I think the beef ribs were amazing. The chips were too expensive for what they were. Next time if I have company I'll definitely go here to dine in.

Glad that this first UK branch has survived is first year- I never see many people in but I have to say the burger is totally exceptional. QUALITY MEAT, juicy and tender ,the (can I have more napkins?) platters thoroughly oozing with flavour. Even without the option so far of a medium-rare burger its fab, my favourite being the beef with blue cheese sauce(pity no REAL blue cheese)

This is my new favourite place to bring friends for lunch after three brilliant meals. The quality of the meat is excellent and it is cooked just right. The price is well worth it for what you get. I would like to see more combo burgers added to the menu in the future.

Good food , the beef ribs were good. Two had beef and ciabatta sandwich also good. The service could have been more attentive and a pity no puddings. We will go back and see if the service improves.

Me and my partner came in for dinner tonight and we had a lovely gentlemen called Gareth serving us who has a gorgeous accent, (Also an attractive guy ;) ) Anyway... We mixed things up this time and I had the lamb ribs.. I gotta say I know a lot of places that could do with giving Ribs and Burgers a call and getting tips from the chef! It was mouth watering! Really tender, beautifully cooked lamb and sweet potato fries! My partner had pork ribs and a beef burger with two patties and he said that was delicious too! (Although I didn't get to try any of his). We tried the milkshakes today as well and they were amazing. Cookie heaven and decadent hazelnut wafer I think the names were. A really lovely meal; even the chef came out to check our food was okay. Brilliant service and such a good price for everything. :) HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

We decided to chance it without booking on Sunday 5pm. It looked like a big group had just left so there was plenty of seatings. I tried the lamb ribs which was succulent & tender, really enjoyed that. My husband had steak roll but didn't like the ciabatta roll. We would go back again & try different menu.

Top quality burgers and obviously ribs as well! The atmosphere is friendly and the prices are reasonable. We went on a quiet weekday evening which I much prefer, it doesn’t seem to be that busy which I can understand though as there are lots of other good restaurants in teddington.

We have eaten here and enjoyed the food however last night we ordered delivery through Deliveroo. It arrived cold and pretty inedible. I don't mind paying over the odds for a really good burger and chips, but I do mind if it arrives cold and you can't eat it, it's not even something you can really heat up at home. Particularly rubbish as we only live about half a mile away.

Excellent lamb and beef ribs with really tasty sauces on them. Corn on the cob was also delicious as were the onion rings and sweet potato fries which were very crispy.

I popped in here for dinner whilst staying in the area for just one night, as it was recommended to me. Firstly, I have to say i'm rarely satisfied with my burger from the majority of places i order one, but in here the burger was tasty, juicy, and of very good quality, best that i've had in a very long time in fact. I ordered the burger ribs combo with salad, the salad is also very tasty, crunchy and delicious, a bit different but in a good way. Now the icing on the cake for me was also the ribs i had, i'm not really a big fan of ribs generally, but the ones i recieved here were exceptionally good, lots of fall off the bone, tender flavourful meat, and nothing else, just small clean bones left on the plate afterwards, quite possibly the best ribs i have ever eaten. Shame its a one of a kind restaurant currently, would love there to be one locally to where i live.

Our 4th wedding anniversary low key high protein dinner was ruined, by the fact that my husband couldn't eat the meat he'd ordered! He ordered beef rib, returned it as it was cold in the middle. Might have been because it went on the grill the same time as my pork rib rack - the size difference is obvious.

A friend had told me how good this place is and so last week I ordered a Deliveroo take away. I had a Beef short rib and chicken wing combo. It was great, the short ribs done a bit pink and oh so tasty. The chicken was fine too.

Went for a meal here with my sister, and pigged out. Burgers, fries, onions, sweetcorn... and we ate it all and loved it. Fast service, clean and friendly.

It's rare to find really nice chicken burgers. This place had them. Good quality meat in a nice environment.

Ate here with some friends. Service was brilliant - very friendly staff. Food came quickly and was served in very large quantities (very good quality as well) 10/10 would definitely recommend. Will be returning with friends to eat more food. Innit.

I get what they are trying to do here, but some things just don't work. I like that you order and pay up front so you don't have to wait about for the bill. The place is interesting inside, very clean. The staff were really friendly but did not have to do too much. I was surprised that it was empty on a Saturday lunch time. That should have warned me away. Interesting menu, as the name suggests they mostly do ribs and burgers. The ribs were meaty with a nice char grilled flavour. The chips are awful. Our table also had a chicken Caesar salad, the salad was nice, the chicken was nice the grey hard boiled eggs were not. Ambience leaves a lot to be desired as the music was blasting and annoying. The price point is a bit high in my opinion. The food quality needs to come up in order to match the prices and they need to make it more welcoming for families at lunch time. Nice try but there are lots of other restaurants in the area that do things much better.

Went here last week. Had BBQ ribs, sweet potato fries , onion rings and sweetcorn. The food was really good. All tasted fresh. Really nice garlic sauce with the ribs. Will defiantly be coming back. Served quickly, no complaints.

The Steak roll - 10 out 10 !!! We tried the "naked" Streak roll, as well as the pesto ciabatta - both well worth it. Naked gets served in a lettuce cup, yup, I thought a bit strange as well - but a pleasant surprise.

We always see Ribs & Burgers but never really thought of trying it out. In fact, this was our second choice. But hey, it did not dissappoint at all! The setting is pretty much like GBK but the burger was sooo much better, sweet potato fries was to die for & the onion rings came in huge portion.

2nd visit first time ate in food good sevice a bit edgy watched as numerous takeaway customers complained about incorrect food this time i ordered takeaway and had the same experiance perhaps staff should pay better attention missed some items off order had to return and was met by a surley individual that could not have been more unhelpfull if he had really tried he got order wrong and made me feel as it was my fault service is not a priority perhaps the management should invest in training before they go broke shame really as although i didnt get what i ordered by time i had reheated it the taste was good will not recomend better places to eat in teddington

I ordered the bacon and cheese burger which did not disappoint. The burger was cooked extremely well and very tasty. I tried my friends lamb burger which too was juicy and full of flavour.

We (me, the wife and my daughter) go to R&B; on a regular basis (since they opened), and can honestly say that we have never had a negative experience food wise. The quality is still the same as the day the opened. Standards the same if you eat in, or if you order a take away.

Ribs and burgers has a lot of potential. It is a great place to go to and the service is very friendly.

I had the wagyu burger and tried a bit of my partners cheeseburger - they were both fantastic although preferred the cheeseburger!

This is essentially an upmarket McDonalds. You must order from the bar and pay before you have received your food. (Do I recall something about 'never pay the ferryman?). This proved interesting as the menu offered burgers both medium and well done. When a medium one was requested, I was told that they were unable to do so due to local regulations, and to only be able to serve one well done. Why not state that on the menu? It would save having to walk to the table to confirm if this is acceptable. The burger, when it arrived, was perfectly acceptable, but this business model does not appeal to me when dining out. Maybe, if was seventeen...........

The burgers here are very good but the ribs can be a bit chewy. The slaw is great with the nuts and seeds as well as cabbage etc. Onion rings are also very good.

I have to say Ribs and Burgers was simply delicious, went with a friend we really enjoyed the lamb ribs, chicken pocket burger and sweet potato fries. All washed down with a pilsner. 10/10 a great place to eat out.

First and foremost the staff are very friendly so no complaints here. The actual service is disorganised but I think that's because of poor communication between the kitchen and staff. The food is really average. Sure if you've never been to the states or actually eaten a proper burger and proper chips it's the best thing in Teddington but the truth is the food is just average. Decor wise it's funky. As a cool place to go with friends it hits the spot but don't come expecting a mind blowing meal.

First of all I have to say the ribs and burgers were delicious, served piping hot and well presented. Also the staff were friendly and efficient - so why only 3 stars?

Sorry Nandos but the chicken here is so much better! We love the herb chicken, smokey chicken wings, burgers and shakes. But can't leave out the sweet potato fries and corn on the cob! Also the service is excellent :)

Recently visited the place and I must say I really enjoyed it. Had the Aussie Burger and it was amazing, filled me up so much I couldn't finish my chips! Cannot recommend this place enough.

Staff were friendly and the burgers were delicious. My friend had a veggie burger and it was the bet she's ever had. The portions were nice and big and I will definitely be back.

We have been a few times and I must say the burgers are amazing. Great value for money and if you like it spicy try their chilli dip (nice and hot). Beef and Lamb ribs are a treat something different to the normal pork ribs you get else where.

If you like your burgers well done and your ribs burnt and both dry then this is the place for you. I won't be visiting again. The manager was rude and very unhelpful when challenged about our burnt food he seemed to be telling us that this was how it was meant to be. Disgusting food and disgusting attitude.

It's exactly what you need after a long day. The burgers were really good and the ribs were great. The milkshake was gorgeous and I loved the relaxed vibe in there.

This is new - and its very good. The menu is largely limited to burgers and ribs (as the name suggests) plus sides but no desserts !
