We have visited Revo on several occasions whether it be for breakfast, coffee and cake, lunch or dinner. We live in Gloucester which is about an hour away but the hours drive is worth it! It’s now somewhere that when we talk about going out for any meal of the day, including breakfast, this place is on our list. Our young daughters love here too. The food, service and views never disappoint! So much so that we chose to go here for Mother’s Day. Yes, there was a queue as they do not take bookings until 4pm, however it went down reasonable quick and the Lady who was seating people, kept updating us and giving the option of sitting outside if anyone wished to. Knowing how great the food and cakes are here, it was worth the wait It was busy, obviously, being Mother’s Day and we were told food would be about 1/2hour which was no issue to us. However, we were pleasently surprised when the food actually arrived much sooner. Our daughters had the kids menu choices and these are a really good size portion for kids which was great and they enjoyed it. We went with the nachos and pulled pork and these were delicious!! (A fave of mine) . We chose to have a cake each to take home as a treat as they looked amazing! And it’s safe to say they didn’t last long once we got home. A cupcake was given to all the mums who were dining which I thought was a really sweet touch and these service from all the staff we met was amazing. Considering how busy it was, they were friendly and helpful, nothing was too much. There was also live music on which, again, I thought was such a lovely touch and clearly others were enjoying this too as people were clapping at the end of each song sung. The food is also reasonably priced and if you have a dog, they accommodate dogs too and have options on the menu if you wish to treat your dog. I would highly recommend this place to anyone and will definitely be back again in the near future. Thank you so much!! You’re all doing an amazing job! 🌟 (Photos are from different visits)

We arrived at 6:45pm, took a while to get seated. Restaurant was less than half full. 25 minutes after being seated, watching all the tables around us being cleared, no one took our order, nor acknowledged our attempts to attract their attention. We left…

Food service shocking, asked for poached egg on toast, came with inedible poached eggs, sent back to then receive just eggs on a plate no toast. Took 5 mins for toast eggs went cold. Wrong order then delivered to table. We waited 1hr 45 mins for this so-called breakfast. Kitchen staff can not cope with large orders. Waiting staff can not fault, but they need organisation. Management needs to manage staff correctly. Asked for the bill, and that was wrong. Total chaos. Will not return.

We have walked past this place numerous times and was never quite sure what it was. Is it a bowling alley with some random food served? Is it crazy golf? Is it a bar...The outside massively lets it down as the inside is really nice and great sunset views. Now we know what it is like inside we have every intention of going again.

Having only been to Revo previously for business breakfasts, I've never been disappointed. So, puzzling for somewhere to break our journey back to Bristol from Devon, I suggested we call in for Sunday lunch. It was fairly busy, but we four adults, one child, and one dog, were all made equally welcome. Nothing was a problem for our waiter, Tom, who looked after us throughout with polite, confident, and friendly service. Excellent meals, which arrived promptly . . . resulting in six empty plates at the end. Considering what we got . . . good food, good service, spectacular views, great décor and ambience . . . it was all good value when the bill arrived. But added to all this was live music; such a nice touch! Clearly, though, we all agreed that here was a talented musician. People putting down their knives and forks to applaud. He was so good, I asked Tom his name. "Harrison" he said . . . as though I ought to know! [Sorry, I'm older generation.] Only when I got home and took the trouble to search out who this singer / musician was, did I discover that it was actually Harrisen Larner-Main. I suspect if you are from Weston, or fans of The Voice, you would be very familiar with him. I'm so pleased we dropped in. It capped off a great weekend in Devon . . . and we were home in time to watch Bristol Bears beat the Falcons on the telly. Result! We'll be calling into Revo again, that's for sure.

This restaurant has many pluses. Fantastic panoramic views, enormous space inside, dog friendly and the staff are mainly friendly even though they are really young and inexperienced. Unfortunately the food is absolutely awful. Having tried all of their regular menu, on our last visit, I went for the special chilli con carne. It was unrecognisable as that wonderful Mexican dish. No chilli and hardly any carne. I thought they had brought the vegetarian option at first, then there was the addition of peas, peas in chilli con carne! If you go here, have a coffee and cake, have dinner elsewhere.

Visited today .. most definitely won’t be going again! Spent best part of £100 for an average burger and a toasted sandwich along with soft drinks and two sausages for our dog which had quite obviously been sat out for however long as they were dry. People were cuing to get in even though there were plenty of empty tables. The glass tumblers that are supplied for use of the drinking water were absolutely filthy, i pointed this out to a manager who didn’t really seem at all concerned about it so the glasses stayed and even when I asked for two clean ones twice it fell on deaf ears. I felt sorry for the younger staff members , it was very evident that they were the ones pulling their weight and trying do everything to keep things in order without any guidance or support . Such a shame as it could be a great establishment.

Located in a prime position right on the beach, there are great views in all directions and some outside seating as well which must be a lovely spot in the warmer weather. We were there for a coffee and a cake, although a full menu is also available. The cakes are displayed on a counter just inside the door, and although there were a few there, there didn’t seem to be nearly such a good selection as I have seen previously when popping in of an evening for a pint. The choice that was there was also a little more unusual, with no Victoria Sponge, Coffee & Walnut or Millionaire’s Shortbread for example. In addition to this, many of them looked quite frankly, enormous. I would like to have tried the Biscoff Rocky Road, but it looked like it would have been more than ample for two people. Smaller portion sizes and smaller prices would definitely be a good move. In the end I opted for the Bakewell slice, and although this too was a more generous portion than I would have liked it was well cooked, being light, moist and very tasty. It was most enjoyable, there was just too much of it. Across the table something broadly similar but with a festive spin included a layer of mincemeat at the bottom, and this too was decent and tasty. An accompanying latte was decent enough, if nothing spectacular. Staff were friendly and helpful, and I’d happily return to try something else.

Really well priced coffee & cake. Wonderful views of the sea / beach - they had a live piano player at the time of our visit which made it an even better experience.

We regularly visit Revo after a dog walk along the prom as it is so dog friendly. We went in today and were planning to order the fish and chips but after being shown to our table we were told there was a Christmas menu. What a lovely addition to the regular offerings. We ordered the roast pork and the turkey toasted sandwich with the jumbo pigs in blankets and it was all superb. I special mention to Brad for looking after us.

Fantastic dog friendly place. The eggs Benedict were possibly the best ever golden poached eggs cooked perfectly. Breakfast burger hubby had was also amazing. Been here a few times and never been disappointed with the food. The staff are very friendly and polite, so much so I complimented the manager. Will definitely be back

Great service, really appreciated the relaxed atmosphere and quality teas and coffees. Would gave eaten here, but had brunch breakfast on the way in. Digs catered for (perhaps one of the only dog friendly venues in WSM) with Water and treats given freely by the staff. Reasonable prices. Very happy. Thanks!

Why do i do it myself and think Revo have improved. I love the venue and the view, they are also brilliant with the dogs. But unfortunately as usual they disappoint with the food. Revo dropped the ball on my Breakfast Burrito. They left in the Star Anise, which completely ruined the flavor and almost cracked my teeth! I couldn't eat it, it was disgusting. They at least took it off my bill. Might have thought they would have waived the 2 coffees and a slice of cake we had as well as a gesture, but sadly not. I might be just really unlucky with this place as I've never had good food here. A pity as the place is lovely.

i came to revo twice in one year. in February i ordered a banana split which lived up to standards and was generally quite large and ACTUALLY a banana split. i returned with my friends in august and ordered the same banana split i had been waiting for. WTAF happened.. what was once a decent banana split became a small bowl of chopped up bananas and some ice cream. not a banana split. taking the piss really

We visited for a hot drink and a cake. The waiter who served us was lovely and friendly, and sat us somewhere with an excellent view. My only issue was the prices, I had a banoffee pie and hot chocolate. The banoffee pie was £4.50 for a small individual serving on a plate. I found that to be very expensive for what it was.

Revo is my go to in Weston super Mare. Whether it’s just for coffee and a cake (I’ll always opt to come here and support a local business over the likes of Starbucks and Costa) or dinner. Had to upload a review purely because last night I tried the buttermilk chicken waffles on the menu and it was sublime! It was a huge portion and tasted sensational — my picture just does not do it justice. They also have the best drinks menu with some stunning cocktails! Highly recommend.

Was super excited about this place and visited with family and dog to an excellent welcome. Super dog friendly we got dog biscuits and water. Proper service cycle with a bubbly waitress on a Thursday night. The food was hot delicious and the staff were attentive throughout. Although it wasn't incredibly busy the staff kept themselves busy by cleaning and restocking and not stood around chatting. However, as we loved the first time so much we went back on a Sunday and what a disaster that was. Context, I've worked in hospitality for over 15 years so I know the tricks and I notice more than most. There was a stark difference between the service and food quality. All different staff to before we were stared at and rushed throughout our meal. The starters great, the main came too quickly after mains away and had obviously been sat on the hot plate too long as the salad in the burger and coleslaw was warm and the burger and fries were cold on all meals. After asking for my chips to be changed, the waitress took them without apology. There was no sauces at our table, we weren't given a check back or offered anymore drinks as I had to get up to order these. After we left 70% of our meals and informing the waitress that it was not up to standard there was no further apology or offer to sort something on the bill. The supervisor or manager and staff were stood at the bar constantly staring at us throughout the meal waiting to pounce and clear the tables yet provide no other service than on a Sunday evening to get us in and out as fast as possible. I understand, I too have wanted a table to hurry and get out so I can go home but you have to keep standards until the final customer leaves. Suggestions if you are going to advertise as open late you should not rush customers, particularly as on Google your advertised hours are until 10:30pm and turning the lights on and music off while we are still drinking at 9:30pm is not on. We thought we'd found a cool place to come with our dog but unfortunately won't return.

Visited Bottelino’s for a colleague’s leaving do ~30 of us. To start with, the service was impeccable - considering the size of our group, there was no wait for our food, everything came out in a timely manner and the staff couldn’t do enough for us! Food was tasty, everyone commented on how delicious their food was and how generous the portion sizes were! Would definitely visit again!
