My best friend has severe allergies to sesame seeds and nuts. Despite informing the waiter multiple times, he received a wrap that triggered a severe allergic reaction. His skin became itchy and swollen, and he struggled to breathe, which was life-threatening. How can you not take sesame allergies seriously as a restaurant owner? This situation could have ended badly for my friend. We will not be returning to your establishment. Please prioritise food safety for allergy sufferers.

Unfortunately, I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. The shawarma was overly salty and greasy, to the point that it was completely inedible. The grilled fish was overloaded with spices, and they had coated it with reused, stale oil, which had a strong unpleasant smell. The odor was so intense that I couldn’t even bring the food close to my mouth. I expected much better quality, but I was truly disappointed.

I have been there before over the last 1.5 years and it was brilliant but over the last 3 visits ( 6 Months) This place has been abysmal in the the service, the food, and especially the shisha. Requested a change to the shisha every time I went and the subsequent one was worse then the last. I've been going to Dar, Arez and another I can't remember after leaving early politely. I just wanted to say it's a change you can see and I won't be going there again. I would rather go to the salt of the earth cafes and the Ambiance of this place is a mirage.

The atmosphere on edgeware road is always so lively no matter what time you go at, this is one of my favourite spots to go to, it does get cold in the winter time so you need to bring a thick jacket. The mixed grill here is pretty nice, the karak chai here isn't like ordinary chai it has it's own flavour / mix, but tastes very good. Shisha here is always amazing, I always get frozen blueberry + raspberry, it's one of their best sellers as the flavour is more out there compared to other lounges. It is quite expensive but it's a 5 minute walk from central. Parking is non existent, you have to hope you don't get a parking ticket.

It's a nice place. The shishas and drinks are good and the prices for Central London are correct.

I’m been here for 20 years but the was my first time I saw like this terrible and very bad No good customer service I ordered my food 3 times but the was really came late and something missed And I ordered 2 shisha one of them was we didn’t used it cos the was really strong I called them many times they couldn’t fixe it for me The will be my first and last time to I came to this place guys please be careful.

Currently at the shisha place. Waiting for my shisha coal to be changed for over 25 mins. A place where water bottle comes to the table after an hour and asking over 4 times. However staff keep swapping shift and take payments within minutes. Before the order arrives. Prices are high, you'd expect the service but get nothing

I tried the place yesterday night, and their shisha is absolutely amazing. Good service with great quality. Whenever you are in london and close to Edgware Road, I recommend you to go there for a shisha, I haven't tried the food but a full house can tell you everything!

I wouldn’t recommend this place as the overall service was terrible.We ordered food and shisha both were not up to standard the price we paid.We almost spend £100 it wasn’t worth a penny and on top toilets weren’t clean.

Today I visited Voug Restaurant Bar and Shisha after midnight, and while the place itself is impressive, my overall experience was mixed. The first thing you notice upon entering is how spacious and clean the restaurant is. It's beautifully decorated, with plenty of seating options that offer a comfortable and relaxed environment. This makes it a great spot for both large groups and quieter gatherings. The ambiance was definitely one of the highlights of the visit. However, when it came to the food and service, my experience was less satisfying. I ordered a mixed shawarma wrap, hoping for a flavorful and juicy meal, but it was unfortunately quite dry and bland. The wrap lacked the seasoning and flavors I was expecting, which was a bit disappointing. The service was also just average; while the staff were polite, there wasn't much attentiveness or effort to enhance the dining experience, especially considering the potential of such a nice setting. On a brighter note, the kanafeh I ordered was a pleasant surprise. It came out warm and had a delightful taste, offering a nice contrast to the otherwise underwhelming meal. It's clear that Voug has the potential to offer a memorable dining experience, especially with its inviting atmosphere and some standout items like the kanafeh. However, there’s definitely room for improvement in both the food quality and service to truly match the ambiance they’ve created. Overall, Voug Restaurant Bar and Shisha has a lot going for it in terms of setting and ambiance, but they need to work on their food and service to make the experience as impressive as the decor. If they can bring up the quality of their dishes and provide more attentive service, this place could easily become a go-to spot for more than just its looks.

Its nice but they need to update the working hours as it doesn’t open before 11 am (Not 24 hrs)

Ihab was a very bad person there, I ordered the food and it had hair in the food, I asked for the manager and the owner of the restuant came to me and his name is ihab, he told me to F off and cussed my whole family in Arabic, this restaurant is by far the worst restaurant in the world with the worse service I have ever received. Unhygienic people are here and the toilet is not looked after and is very very dirty. Absolutely disgusting from ihab, he needs to be investigated immediately.

Frankly, I recommend the place. It may be the best place on Arab Street. Especially Samer, he made the experience very nice. He was very cooperative and made sure that every detail was taken care of.

Such an amazing service from the waiter we had, she was so sweet and made sure our food was corrected after a mistake! Cute vibes and food was decent too. Our tea stayed hot the entire sit down as well. Thanks guys x

Edit: Originally 5 stars and now 1 star. I originally visited this place and thought it was the original lounge we were looking for called “Shishawi.” When initially speaking to the owner, he said it was “Shishawi” when we asked, but Shishawi is next door. Anyways, we liked it and continued to come here a couple more times. Food is ok (acceptable but definitely not exceptional), and service was initially acceptable but not great. That was until they began to rush my family out during their last visit and their employees were literally saying disgusting things about my sisters and mother, and were caught (thinking they didn’t hear). The guy that changes charcoals for hookahs was overheard saying “I’m trying to change their charcoals so I can get them out of here quick,” which leads to a burned hookah head quicker. The owner proceeded to approach my family to apologize even though he was engaging in the exact same conversation, allowing his employees to: 1) Trash talk about their customers 2) Sabotage the experience of their customers Anyways no fake apologies are required and you should serve the best interest of your customers so they could return. Although after this incident, they nor I will ever step foot in here. That is a very low thing to sabotage the experience of your customers considering we are very kind and easygoing, came here 4-5 times in the span of 2 weeks (loyal customers), and decide to give your business our business and money only to be treated in such a demeaning and disrespectful manner. AVOID

It was one of my most horrible experiences in London. The food which was mentioned in the CharGrilled section was not being made on the grill, instead the convection oven was being used. We ordered a Shish Taouk and a Lamb Kafta. Both were served cold. On speaking to the owner he was covering up after his mis-management of staff. We decided to pay and leave the food. He still charged us half of the bill. Wouldn’t recommend to any tourist and local. The place needs to be shut down. The staff was also very non professional except a couple of them.

Bad service and charging more than the menu price. They behave badly from the beginning and keep surprising you by taking extra money and not fresh products.

This place is a place to be ripped off if you're new. After we have dinner we have shisha which we paid £35 for each shisha. All I can say is if you see Vogue on Edgware Road, RUN.

Horrible service. Very rude staff, no sense of hospitality at all. Not going back ever again. 3.7 is already a pretty bad rating I am pretty sure it’s gonna go further down in the coming months. Treating the customer with respect is a must. This waiter who takes shisha order is going to make sure this place goes out of business very soon. There are so many other shisha options on Edgware road, in such a competitive space to continue doing business, please teach your staff some manners. Thank you

Really bad experience about manager Victor and security (Indian guy). They discriminated us to not giving table even we smoke shisha outside. The worst customer service that I have seen in London and they lied us about table even it’s not reserved. I didn’t expect that. We used to come many times. By this way they lost clients. It’s really annoyed us. I will report it.

Went to the restaurant just for tea, the tea was literally just a teabag and mint and they charged 9£ for LITERALLY A TEABAG absolute scam. Don’t recommend at all. The ambience of the restaurant is okay but the chairs are really dirty. Will never come back again.

Scam alert!!!! I visited the restaurant today with my friend. The order was taken but as soon as we placed the order the waitress said she was finishing her shift so we should pay right away…the bill was £107 which was a lot for a small order that we placed…she gave no receipt and left. Then the food arrives with wrong dishes..no cutlery or napkins provides with the food…appalling service. The staff were rude. I asked for the manager who said he wont charge for one dish. However the bill was still £80 which was too much. Bill is confusing.Save your money and time and dont bother visiting this restaurant. AVOID

I wish there was option for 0 stars. Firstly, the staff was all dressed in normal clothes, no colour coordination, no uniform or anything so you didnt know who was staff and who were customers. I waited at the till for 4/5mins because i thought the women standing there were customers, but they were just staff members. I asked the lady at the till if they do kunafa and she said yes so we sat down and ordered a kunafa to share, along with tea. When they brought the kunafa, it was HORRIBLE. The cheese was chewy and the “pastry” part wasnt pastry at all, it was like a solid, cakey, chewy thing. When we complained to say what is this because its not kunafa, they said its like that because it comes FROZEN!! disgusting!! If i knew it wasnt gonna be fresh, i would’ve never ordered. Anyway, my husband said to them we cant eat this, can you give an alternative. So they gave the option of baklava or milkcake and we chose the milkcake. Milkcake wasnt good either tbh, very thin cake & didnt taste fresh. We had some of it and asked for the bill. When the bill came, they charged us for both kunafa & milkcake, my husband asked why they didnt take kunafa off & the waitress said “you already ate half of it”. He didnt want to argue over £7 so just smiled, paid & we left. However, its not just about £7 its about basic customer service, firstly a customer has complained about your food & you dont have the common curtsey of even apologising. secondly, saying you ate “half of it” like she was blind or something to realise the bits broken off from the kunafa were right there on the plate, we were sharing it so obviously we were each gonna take a bite to taste what it was like. How ridiculous. I have attached pictures of the monstrosities that were served to us so you can also see how much we ate. Save your money & do nottt go here!

I didn't even need a knife because of how perfectly the meat was cooked and the sides tasted SO good. The treatment I received was so sweet and felt like I was visiting my family. 10/10

Run away! terrible staff especially the very unpleasant manager, he made a mistake in taking the order but blames the customer. I ordered a fresh mango juice at 8 pounds I saw the staff using a juice in a cardboard bottle and the manager dared to say it was fresh...
