Reshma Spice in Selby

Absolutely disgusting service! Got our big order wrong when delivered after we spent £90 and were rude and argumentative on phone. Food was disgusting never again! Spent a lot of money with these over past couple of years but won’t go again! The prawn bhuna came as a prawn puree and just tasted like water! The butter chicken had three pieces of fatty chicken in and rest was sauce! We ordered a king prawn tikka massala and got a chicken balti which was vile! The best part of all six dishes was the popadoms!

Ordered a takeaway which cost ups £82 yes it was a large order extremely disappointed with the service got the order wrong and wen we phoned up to complain they started to argue with us very very disappointed wen have ordered from here for the past 2 years and always recommend to friends and family well never again will we order from here.

The best curry in Selby without a doubt, consistent quality at a reasonable price keep up the goid wirk guys☺☺☺☺☺☺☺☺☺☺☺☺☺☺☺

Order arrived missing items, rang and granted they sent items about 10 minutes after. Dished up to then find the special biryani had no prawns and hardly any meat. I called reshma only to be told the chef and boss was adamant he put king prawns in and there was nothing he could do. My daughter and I were sharing the biryani and she would only have prawns in her half so the family meal was ruined! She had a pot noodle instead. Wow

We ordered this takeaway through just eat online which was all fine. However, we got a message saying that our order was cancelled and we would get a refund. We called the restaurant and they said that we had been very aggressive with the chef and he was too upset to cook our food. Not sure how this happened as we never even spoke to anyone and not the chef, we ordered through an app. It was ridiculous and upsetting as the food is lovely here but the service was terrible this time. We don’t know whether it was Just Eats fault or the restaurant.

I ordered a Bombay Aloo which was Bland. Korma was lovely. Peshwarmi Nan was a Plain and wouldn't order again. Delivery on time.

We got a takeaway last night for 9 of us, a couple were young kids. We had a mix of different starters and different curry’s and all of them was lovey. We have used reshma for quite a while but this is the first time I’ve thought to write a review, we highly recommend

Used to use le raj but after moving to the other side of town started going here. It's good and great portion sizes too. Would recommend

Ordered via just eat for collection and food was ready in 20min. Tasty, hot and would definitely recommend

We use reshma regularly and have always been happy with our meals, I normally have chicken tikka masala but when I ordered on friday they asked if I wanted the spicy one or creamy one (I didnt know there were two kinds, I always have the creamy one) so I decided to try the spicy one for a change and it was amazing!!! Very flavorful and extremely tasty, it is now my new favourite 😋😋 if you haven't already, try reshma you wont be disappointed,delicious food and lovely staff x

All the food tasted the same, it was curry flavoured gravy. The food was all just warm and to add insult to injury they charged me extra for the delivery when they got here evenn though I had already paid it

Ordered the food via justeat which said it would be here by 8:15. I rang at 8:30 to ask where it was to which I was told it was less than 5 minutes away. The food finally arrived at nearly 8:50. The order was nearly £50 total and we had to pay £3 delivery fee to the driver despite having paid a delivery charge on the order on the just eat app, the driver advised the fee on there is wrong (we live less than 5miles from the takeaway). When we started taken the food out we realised they hadn’t given us any poppadoms or pickle tray (we checked and this was on the order worth about £5). We had also ordered a portion of chips which were stone cold (I would have rather eaten the polystyrene container they came in). Called to complain about the food and service and was told they ‘would sort it out next time we ordered’, I told them I was going to write a review and they asked that I didn’t. In my opinion the problem wasn’t solved hence this review, they will not get a chance to rectify on the next order as we won’t use again.

Food was cold, order was wrong and the member of staff said I had no right to use the car park even though I was ordering food. I will never use again

The service was terrible, really long wait for inferior food, much better around in Selby avoid at all costs

We had butter chicken, lamb rogan josh enourmous peshwari nans and poppadoms. Delicious coconut rice. Enjoyed everything also cooked very quickly

Have used this before and gave an excellent rating..However. Visited Sat Night in person to avoid the 1 hour delivery time , which is free to our area. Ordered the meal and the menu CLEARLY states a 20% discount will be applied "On Collection".... as obviously saving them money on free delivery. Thinking he had forgotten, i mentioned politely the fact the 20% had been missed ,and he gave me a dirty look ,waved me away , muttered something under his breath and walked into the kitchen area. along with the 20% is an offer of free bhajee on orders over £15 .. we didnt get that either! We use this place frequently but unlikely to again after this episode . Take the prices with a pinch of salt and check your bill.

Cold, tasted disgusting, creepy little man behind the counter appeared unable (unwilling?) to speak English and seemed to spend his time leching over every single female customer- very unpleasant. Violently ill straight after, given that hygiene appears an alien concept to the staff I suppose I should not have been surprised. One last thing - could all the staff club together and invest a whole pound on some very badly needed deodorant? Avoid like the plague!

Great food, really enjoyed it, I will return. 5***** even the kids enjoyed it, its the best Selby Indian I've tried.

Este es normalmente el mejor Indio/servicio de entrega para llevar en el pasado martes, pero Selby entrantes y los platos principales nos trajeron mal y el problema es que el conductor había desaparecido en el momento en que descubrió. No queríamos esperar otra hora para comer cuando están muy ocupados debido a la oferta a mitad de precio, así que comimos, pero quedamos muy decepcionados. Que quiere tres samosas en vez de un pollo tikka entrante y dos curris caliente cuando lo eligió de tamaño.

Mi novio y yo venga a reshma cada martes para especias precio medio del martes. La comida es absolutamente precioso y nunca puede entender cómo se puede ser tan bonito y tan barato!

Tried the Reshma on sat 28 feb . Nobody in so got served straight away , but noticed there were loads of delivery meals getting done ... despite this the wait was not long .
