Rendlesham Wok Centre in Suffolk Coastal

1st time eating here, food was really nice, 8 of us ate and we all liked it, we will be coming back, the only downside was the gaint divide they have in the shop..

Have had a couple meals from here now and both have been very tasty. Singapore noodles river nice bit of spice but not too much to blow your head off just gives a good bit of flavour which some Chinese shops don't have. Chips are great too.

Very much a typical local chinese food takeaway. Never had a bad meal from there but it'll never win a Michelin star.

The food was mediocre, We waited a very long time even though we pre ordered.

It's a takeaway that's why the lower score on atmosphere. No dine in option. Food is tasty and portions are good!

Looking forward to at least open for two hours during lunch time. Wok Centre opens only late afternoon

Decent food and reasonably priced. Be prepared to wait a long time if you arrive some evenings as it can get very busy. Only takes cash at the moment - cashpoint is nextdoor

Food is always excellent but would always recommend ordering before heading down there! They're popular so sadly they do run late during peak times like weekends. Still cash only too, would really love it if they took card!!

Lately the food has been so good, really tasty , only thing I would say is be prepared to wait about 20 minutes longer than the time they give you

Always great food, satay chicken skewers are amazing, Singapore noodles so tasty and the special fried rice is perfect. Salt n chilli squid is my favourite dish but they have not managed to cook this to my liking it needs to be in a light batter hopefully one day 😊 but all the rest is perfect.

Portion size too small for the price but the food tasted nice.

How can you not have mayonnaise?

Terrible! Was told 1 hour waited over 2hours and the food was COLD soggy and completely unedible. AVOID 1st and very last time I will never eat there nor will I recommend this too anyone 🤮

Food was ok. Service was awful told 45 mins. Ended up an hr and 45 mins. Worst take away experience of 2020

Excellent takeaway, can be busy, but that's because it's so good. If you like spicy, thoroughly recommend the Singapore Chow Mein also the Salt & Chilli Squid, very good indeed. Have had the Scampi too, sweet succulent lovely batter

Food was hot and service efficient. However, the dishes chosen were a bit underwhelming. The vegetables In the chow mien were watery and didn’t look particularly fresh.

Considering this little chinese takeaway is in Rendlesham, it is absolutely brilliant ... plenty of different dishes and all cooked to a good standard ... It is one of thebest takeaways for tems of miles around

Excellent food and we buy from here regularly. However charging for prawn crackers is a bit cheeky... on top of everything else we buy! 😂

Generally food is good BUT order on phone and it’s as if they don’t start cooking until you arrive. Have given me wrong order more than once-very annoying.

Advertised as open until 10:30pm. Tried to go after a long drive home at 10pm. Door unlocked but no one in there. With the shop currently closed as well, bit stuck for food in Rendlesham at the moment.

We had the salt and chilli ribs, best ever. The chef is a genius More suited to couples or groups than a family occasion,but overall ,fantastic

One of the best chineses in the area food is always piping hot and is served with a smile. Good value lunch menu and large spring rolls are epic!

I really love this Chinese take away, food is freshly cooked and they do a really nice large spring roll which is lovely for lunch. Great option for those who live/work locally

Make sure you got plenty of cash when you do go because they still can't be arsed to get a card machine!! Helllooo 2018 calling!!!!! Just drove up there to get a Take away, no cash, atm not working and now still hungry.. thanks a lot!

Love the food here, game changer

I had take away of Singapore chowmein pork ribs and chilli chicken. I am highly disappointed because the chilly chicken was completely dry no gravy at all and pork ribs were bland. Worst part was there was a egg shell in the noodles that put me off completely and I did not eat it.

I ordered the cheese burger meal and it looked like it had just been thrown together, the chips tasted dry and were not nice at all, my nephew had the fish and chip meal we asked for bbq sauce and ended up with sweet and sour sauce. I must say for £10 I was not impressed at all.

Genuinely the nicest Chinese I have ever tasted. I have had the set meals for 1 as well as my favourite Salt and Chilli Squid which is superb.

Cheap and cheerful, it was okay. I've had better from here before

I had the burger 5 meal with cheese which was nice chips were a bit hard but I am not a chip person any way the sausages were ok but full of oil. Staff always very friendly and helpful will use again

Local takeaway, popular for large portions of tasty Chinese staples,fish, chicken and burgers in the precinct.

The food is cooked very well and is always of a good standard and priced very reasonably. The staff are always friendly and have a pleasant even when rushed off their feet.

A real regular of the wok centre! Have never had a bad takeaway from here, the salt and chilli ribs are excellent, plenty of spicy chillies and loads of garlic! The squid is also very good. Friendly owner and kitchen staff

Absolutely horrible, unless you like someone microwaving food you can buy at the costcutter next door, and even then it tastes like it has been sitting under a lamp being warmed up all day. I tried going twice, both times disgusting. Save your money and just cook at home.

Since this place has changed hands it has gone down hill. The food now tastes like it has been cooked and kept warm in polostyrean containers. I do not eat there anymore.
