Mcdonald's Restaurants in Suffolk Coastal

Ever since all the uber/just eats has taken over its really poor. Dirty, food cold and can't get in the carpark because all the delivery drivers take up all the spaces.

Couldn't park,so went to Tim Hortons instead,next door.

Went in and ordered for eat in and just as I sat down a lady worker came over and said "Were closing you need to leave" just before midnight last time I checked it was 247 yet they seem to make there own rules now. If I chose eat in its coz I wanna sit down and eat my food and I'll choose to do that if I wish. Don't expect to be told to leave without reason. Place is a joke

This store regularly gets orders wrongs items missing, whether inside the store, drive thru or especially delivery.

It's mcds. Always enjoy it. It was chaotic this time round tho it was a busy weekend. Still love Mcds tho.

Last Thursday morning I went to this McD drive thru and ordered a double sausage and egg muffin meal. Hash brown was hot and delicious however the burger looked dreadful, it looked like it’s been left there for hours(or they reused the paper wrap), as you can see in the photos, burger wasn’t hot and the cheese that melted on the paper wrap was hard, absolutely disgusting. Lost my appetite and binned the burger. Ordered at 10am Received the food at 5 past. Took the photos of the burger at 10 past.

Chips cold, didn't have the pie I asked for so i excepted an Apple pie. On collection no Apple pies & could only offer me a chocolate brownie which were sickly, always a problem & the time before my hamburger was inside out I know, some moron is playing game in Felixstowe.. but they still want paying at the end of the week, whilst it seems I'm just chucking mine away! Don't know why I do it to myself :(

Get rid of the delivery driver's for taking the parking spaces they parked in the disabled place as well they go to the cash station just walk in as if they own the place let them wait until they have their order's ready for collection

If getting take out or delivery, check for your dips. Large fries often come up short.

Slow, rude, food cold, unhelpful staff, watched ten just eat guys come and go before serving even one in store customer 0/10 35 minutes for a flatbread

Mayo chicken with very little mayo in it, very dry and overcooked

Worse McDonald’s. Cold. Some order always missing. Once never got the order and never received refund. Won’t be ordering again. Waste of money. Train your staff better.

i waited inside for 40 minutes waiting for an order of 6 chicken nuggets, 1 mayo chicken meal and 1 chilli crispy wrap meal. the food was stone cold, the wrap looks like there’s a bite taken out of it, the mayo chicken burger looked like it was taken out of a bin and served on plate (awfully wrapped paper leaking mayo out of the side) the chips where just as cold as the drinks which was the only decent thing they served us. never go to this maccies it’s awful.

Waited over 10 mins in the drive through to get some food. No one came through. Eventually we (and another car) gave up and drove to the window. Still no one there. Gave up and drive past last window where 4 staff ere standing around laughing and chatting. Most appalling customer service from any McDonald’s ever!

absolutely disgusting. we found a fly baked into my son’s mcmuffin bun. If you enjoy greasy and unclean food then this is the place for you.

Cold food from the drive through, no straws or napkins, missed an item, pretty poor show from alleged "Professionals". Tried it again a few days later to see if it was a similar experience, it was, so at least their consistent there, but clearly not in a good way.

Filthy place! Visited yesterday. Food was hot that's the only good point! Floors filthy and dirty tables and rubbish spilling from bin. Ladies toilet not working. - Disabled toilet ( only other option as a female needing the toilet) the door and lock broken? Floor in this toilet also filthy wet and paper strewn everywhere! Fairly bored looking member of staff with a broom - which was not in use yawning to himself and looked like he would be pleased when his shift was done. Go else where there are other places to eat in Felixstowe!

Just went and got a vegetarian deluxe burger meal, mozarrela dippers sharebox, and a mac flurry. Get home to see THEY HAVE GIVEN ME A MC CHICKEN IN A VEGTIARIAN DELUXE BOX!!!. IVE BEEN VEGITARIAN SINCE I WAS A KID FOR MEDICAL REASONS! I NEVER EXPERIENCED ANYTHING LIKE THIS EVER. IF I WAS TO EAT THAT I WOULD BE VIOLENTLY ILL !! IM APPALLED. DONT EVER WANT TO GO TO THIS MCDONALDS AGAIN AND WIL NEVER. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Awful service at night all the items I ordered through drivethrough they didn't have then proceeded to be stuck in the que for 20minutes to leave with no food

Felixstowe MacDonalds you seriously need to do better! Went to drive thro for a light snack,greeted by a miserable female voice on speaker and was served carrot bag instead of chips and no fruit bag as ordered and payed for , you need to do better it's not rocket science , Terrible service on Thursday / Feb 13th 2024

I had visited Felixstowe McDonald’s on a few occasions. Today (11/2/24) was my most recent visit of this location. I was utmost starving, and had ordered x3 chicken Mayo with shredded lettuce removed and added bacon and cheese, to wash it town also requested a full fat medium coke. All x3 Mayo’s were consistent and fresh, and were delightful to the taste buds. This branch was a mere average on cleanliness, the toilets (male) I can say were surprisingly sanitary and clean, however I was disappointed when I found out I had stepped in a bit of burger and cheese somewhere in the branch. I had my belly sufficiently replenished, and I was ready to set off in my 2002 BMW 525d Manual Individual “Avus Blue”, however it was a bit of a faff being that the carpark is quite cramped and poorly laid out. Very very noisy place,we was in there the other day and all you could hear was the alarms on their cooking appliances and they didn’t turn them off quickly.wont go in there again.

Items missing from our order and took over an hour to deliver 3 miles away, the order was cold.

Twice now popped to get a milkshake and a couple of rmcflurrys and both times " we cant do mcfurrys or milkshakes right now" but the young lad sitting with his mates had a shake. So must be my demographic they hate

This place has severely gone down hill and as such, I’ll be boycotting it. Prices keep rising. Yet the quality of the food and the temperature of the food never seems to get sorted. For the same price as the food in McDonald’s restaurant these days you can go in a pub with a better atmosphere and actually get a meal. Wouldn’t bother

Just don't order anything to be delivered they is only two of us so not a big order and once again missed my meal off this happened last weekend thought it was a blip obviously not ....tried to find email address to complain but obviously can't find one??? So that speaks a thousand words...will not be using again in anyway

This is the third time no food has shown up when ordering via Just Eat. McDonald's need to take responsibility for this service instead of just saying...ask for a refund via the Just Eat app. Its shocking how McDonald's in Felixstowe are happy to have their customers disappointed and angry at such a poor service. The worst thing is nothing is being done about it because they McDonalds are greedy and customer service issues are just a consequence and are ignored. McDonald's you are responsible and should be holding Just Eat to account. Stop passing the buck.

We arrived as a party of five and wondered if we would get in as we hadn't booked a table, we stood at the door waiting to be seated but it transpired that this establishment doesn't have a Maître De and other diners pushed past us to claim a space at one of the Formica tables. Having taken a seat we couldn't see any waiters and so as the head of the family I made my way to the counter but was redirected by a spotty, unkempt youth to a screen to order my food!! Luckily I had my children's nanny who has a GSCE in IT and she was volunteered to order our food. Imagine my horror upon discovering there is no wine list, tasting menu or Al a Carte on offer, just a selection of nasty cheap burgers and something called fries, all served in cardboard containers and on a plastic tray! There was no tablecloths, fabric napkins or even cutlery!! I decided to complain to the manager but was told by one of the staff that he was busy having a fag out the back, incandescent with rage I told him I would be writing to the Times to show my displeasure and promptly gathered up my family to leave. Pushing our way past the large clientele, who all appeared to be wearing ill fitting sports wear, we made our way back to the Range Rover and drove towards the exit. However the horror wasn't over as we then found ourselves in the wrong lane and sat in a queue for something called a "drive through", eventually we made it out passing a number of parked vehicles, in which people appeared to be eating! I will not be returning to this establishment and will be having a quiet word with the local mayor at our next round of golf or lodge meeting

Bought 20 nuggets and fries today. Food was good BUT the BBQ sauce was awful! Has changed from the regular sauce that I love, imo the best BBQ sauce there is, to a new round 'smoky' BBQ dip. Yes, it's bigger, but the flavour is now non-existent due to the fact it is so hot, it has no taste. Big mistake McDonalds! As long as you keep this dip I, for one, will no longer bother to visit.

This is the third time in a row where food was cold, buns were burnt, and items missing from order. When we complained, they just shrugged .

Never had a problem, lovely food and staff, whether you eat in or eat out or drive through, great service.

I ordered quite a lot of food for a gathering - only half of it arrived, and the half that did arrive arrived with the wrong drinks, burger fillings and sauces. I was missing over £20 worth of food which never arrived. My delivery driver told me he spoke to McDonalds as he noticed their printed label was different to what I ordered, they refused to remake it - McDonalds also said I was lying about this. When I phoned up to complain and query, they answered after 21 phone calls, and I was greeted with the rudest customer service experience I think I have ever faced. I work in customer service and front of house, so I know how to treat customers with respect, even if it's frustrating. However, when I explained my issue, the McDonalds worker shouted at me, told me I was lying and that McDonalds never forget any food, they always make sure everything is inside (which is a lie as I have had this issue before). When I explained this, the worker became even ruder, told me I was lying, she didn't care, it wasn't her problem so don't contact her and find someone else (who?). She then hung up on me after saying if I want the food I missed I have to pay again. I am absolutely appalled, I have never been treated with no little respect by a front of house worker who messed up my food. As someone working in front of house, McDonalds could have approached their mistake in a different and better way. Won't be buying from here ever again.

Ordered from McDonald's today for delivery. Although it was delivered, the food came really fast from when I ordered it and the chips were dreadful. They had a rubbery texture, and they were cold as if they just been lying in the fridge for a while before they arrived. Not only that but my vegetable deluxe burger was even worse! So many times I have ordered this burger and every single time it has been a sloppy, sad excuse for a burger. They are VERY careless with this burger it's as if they do not care at all about the vegetarian population of their customers. The lettuce inside looks as though it never actually made it inside the burger as every time I opened the packaging it's mostly just spread around the cardboard. The veggie dippers inside are also leaning out of the burger as if they are trying to escape- I don't blame them. I practically have to assemble the burger myself every single time. Now you may be wondering why I keep on ordering the burger when it's so disgraceful, but the taste was amazing which is why I chose 3 stars. PS the nacho cheese bites had way too much cheese it was like eating a cheese sandwich without the bread. Goodnight.

Ordered a breakfast via the McDonalds app. Food never arrived. Called the store and they were very rude and hung up twice. They never answered after that. Awful customer service. They have taken the money and have had nothing in return. No complaint system in place. Terrible!

Thieves. Taken my money and received nothing. Called to complain and got hung up on 5 times, then stopped answering my calls. Used the chat system and was just a bot, no way of a person to person conversation to resolve. Absolutely disgusting 😡

Two adults and child visited afternoon, fairley quiet but took an age to receive the order. The whole place looked dingy and dirty. The gents toilet filty water and urine over some of the floor. Smelt disgusting. There were four hand sanitizers inside, all were empty. Just as well we always bring our own. We will never visit that Mcdonalds again

I ordered something on Uber eats, and first time I ordered; all sauces were missing and I said money for my sauces and I couldn’t be bothered to get in touch so I left it. Then today they forgot my Diet Coke - I swear this McDonalds is the worst one - always having problems - whether it’s poor service or messing up orders! I did talk through a chat with ubereats and have been able to get a refund for the diet Coke but this shouldn’t keep happening.

Absolute shambles of a place. Keep returning in the vain hope that they improve however I have lost count of the times my order has been wrong. Twice in two weeks they have placed a McSpicy burger in a McChicken sandwich. Consistently poor service by staff that don’t seem to give a f@ck. The sooner Felixstowe gets more drive through options the better!

Nipped to get food after work, drive through busy but bearable, received something different to what we saw & ordered off the menu board so photo & description didn’t match? Food was extremely cold and virtually inedible, half of it got disposed of in the bin, the only decent thing was the milkshake……won’t be going back & wish we had of gone to Burger King instead

Food is very hit and miss, sometimes fresh, sometimes cold as if it has been left around. What is consistent however is the poor service and the long queues and wait at the drive though as they never seem to use the waiting bays and just let the drive through queue built if anything is waiting to be cooked!!

This is one of the worst restaurants I have ever been too. They decide when they want to work, every time we have tried to go in or drive thru they are either resetting their tills or they’ve turned everything off even though they’re meant to be twenty four hours. The staff are brainless and rude, it takes them over an hour to decide to cancel your delivery probably because they’re too brain dead to figure out the address from the notes. Worst. Worst. Worst. I cannot explain how frustrated this place makes me, I work 12 hour shifts just to be turned away every bloody night. Joke!

I shouldn't but concur with some of the reviews, staff don't listen to what's ordered, you have to watch the screen like a hawk, they still can get it wrong, I'm constantly fed up with the half measures I have had previously on an order of large meals, the chips have honestly been about half the packet they should be, so no I don't think at times I'm getting good value for money on pre set choice meals. But same for me should we have to put up with it as it's our local, and yes it is the worst I've been to in the area.

Lacked any enthusiasm in trying to get the order right - just didn't listen to what was ordered. When it came it was warm enough, but the tea bag had been in the cup so long the tea was undrinkable.

My local McDonalds which my work uses for a company fast food lunch once a week. The last, at least, 6 weeks have provided problem after problem. Cold food, wrong orders, poor service and this week we have had missing meals all together. We also have to ask for ingredient removals for some colleagues intolerances, 9/10 the item is stickered as ordered but comes with everything in still. Very disappointed

We ordered table service our burger that arrived was cold the other burger when it arrived was cold. There was no sauce in the dispenser!our children’s happy meals had no toys and a wrap missing, the staff were sitting on the counter on her mobile and I wish I’d taken wellington boots as the toilet was flooded all bins were spilling over, this is the worse Mc Donald’s I’ve been to in Europe

My family and I came here on Sunday evening after being on the pier playing in the arcades, we decided to get a coffee and some muffins/donuts. When we walked in the tables were dirty and not been wiped down properly and there was not staff around to ask to clean them or any napkins so we could wipe it ourselves. When the member of staff brought our order over she was so miserable and gave the impression she really didn’t want to be there. I know it was late in the evening but she she still had a job to do and could have been sociable, that’s just poor customer service too me. Also the hot chocolate was really weak and just like water.

We travel all over Britain and always find this McDonald's to be the best,there was a lady called Paula who was doing an excellant job keeping the place clean,toilets floors etc were spot on! there was also a man outside scrapping the weeds from the pavement blocks keeping the outside just as clean as the inside! the food was quick fast and hot and very tasty so much so I had another egg cheese mcmuffin,I cannot understand some of the one star reviews because we go at busy times and the staff our so friendly food is quick And always excellent! well done to you all will be revisiting you this weekend as in the Felixstowe area,Keep up the Great work Good health

I ordered our food when a was 40 I finally received it on my 42 birthday. it's supposed to be fast food I could driven to the supermarket brought the ingredients, drove home and cooked it quicker ‍ oh and we've just realised some of our order is missing..... spot on

Average McDonalds Resteraunt. Sometimes clean and tidy and at others very poor. The staff range from good to poor! Take pot luck and visit if you're hungry.

We travel all over the uk Southend on sea Brighton and many inner cities but boy o boy does this come up the best, it's always clean the food is great always hot and the staff are very friendly why I mentioned Vicky its because every time we come here she gives us a big smile and says how are you keeping and I must say it goes a long way when you lead a busy lives like us,so to all the staff give yourself a big pat on the back,not sure why so many negative reviews but reading them I think people think this website is to complain and I'm sure if you tell the staff or management to there face your complaint would be resolved straight away , but to all staff thank you for what you do for us keep us happy and satisfied every time we come good health to all and don't let the negative reviews get to you! Just keep up the good work !

I was out getting a long awaited McDonald’s dinner but was surprised to find that they no longer sell carrots, a personal favourite item of purchase which is probably one of the only healthy things on the menu. Disappointed.

Full of rubbish on tables and the photo suggests rubbish bins needs too be emptied not too bad services tasted like baps had been toasted a no too long

Came here and asked for our meals, and had to wait few moments, but it then came. You had to ask for sauce for the chicken dippers? Barbecue. The food was hot and the Big Mac was ok, but very messy? The Chocolate Milkshake seemed very watery though. Also must try the Toffee Latte, very sweet. Must say though the Staff there very polite, and helpful. Jack Manager seemed ok as well , got meals seen to and even the toilets..

My daughter was eating and her friends didn’t have food yet but we’re about to order food and they got told to leave as there were other families that wanted to eat and would pay more money for food then my daughter and there friends would and they got told to sit outside in the cold! My daughter was eating and said “no because I’m eating and my friends are about to order” and the lady said back “well hurry up then” the lady then came back 5-10 minutes later saying “I’ve already told you to hurry along” rushing them out while it was cold and rainy outside and they were still eating and just wanted to eat peacefully. I understand it was busy but they paid to eat and should be able to eat without getting nagged to leave.

I often visit here late while working and in and out normally in minutes which is great. Never had any problems here besides the amount of kids hanging around at midnight.

Me and my mrs thought we would stop by here on 14/08/17. Big mistake ! We walked in and there was food on the floor. I stood at the counter waiting for my food and watched the boy building and wrapping burgers. Their was no care or respect put into his work and hadn't even wrapped mine. We got to where we were eating and i opened my bag to find loose burgers and wrapping in my bag. This is a terrible branch and they need to reconsider who they hire !

its got McDonalds written all over it! I just cant get enough of McDonalds- that's why I've got high blood pressure! So basically this McDonalds is just like any other nothing less nothing more but because its McDonalds its just the best food in the world when I came here it wasn't to busy and the prices are just so good; I got my normal big Mack and It was incredible just like all the others but its a nice McDonalds this one because it isn't to busy.

Devolverá de inmediato y luego tuvimos que esperar un poco más. Situado fuera de la ciudad, pero cerca de los parques de vacaciones, este sitio es a menudo lleno. El aparcamiento es relativamente pequeña y la cola es a veces drive thru hasta la carretera. Los niños queríamos visitar la promoción pero esperamos mucho tiempo para la comida (ordenados por la terminal). La comida era estándar y el personal estaban intentando mcd lo mejor posible para mantener la demanda, pero podría ser más amable. Mucha gente merodeando por esperando a ser servidos o para comida pero sólo hay una hasta los pedidos. Visita para no tan rápido 'comida rápida'!

He visitado este establecimiento muchas veces y es muy mejorado, con su nuevo reciente reforma.

Tienen también para ti esperar más tiempo que terminó la orden frío y el ser demasiado salada aún frtied otra vez y eso que nos dijeron numerosos tiempo, supone que es recortar en sal.

Handy for local dock and factory workers nearby. Usual Mc D menu and fast service. Personally prefer their competitors where the burger is twice the size for a similar cost but unfortunately there are none in Felixstowe.

Went for a drive thru to get the kids a mcflurry and the "seasonal" mcflurry had run out at 8 pm! Service was slow, took well over 10 mins. Kitchen looked like chaos. Not sure the new system is working

Went on Sunday 17th December, after new refurbished new look 'restaurant' had re-opened. Significant changes made, some for the better, some not. Now you order at 'Order Points', take a ticket, Like Argo, and go wait for your number to be called. Completely soulless and lacking in any personality. I actually ordered at the one till at the front, was served by a very quiet, dare I say 'drippy' young lad. then we waited, and waited....and waited. Along with lots of other angry people. 25 minutes later I got my breakfast! Not what I would call 'Fast Food'!! Lets hope the service improves. I wont be returning.

We visited after their revamp and was very impressed all round so much better than it use to be.Clean and polite staff do I need to say anymore

Our family group of 10, mostly children, decided on tea at McDonalds. Everybody ordered their food which quickly arrived and was exactly as it should be. The restaurant was full and the staff were very good and efficient. Cleanliness both inside and out was excellent. Now for the "Luvvies". The beef is 100% beef,the bread rolls are fresh as is the salad contents and the lettuce as crisp as you can get it. All items produced in the UK and the phrase "Junk Food" is I feel totally unwarranted for this fast food establishment. So whilst on this track I started people watching and for the whole of our time at this restaurant I noticed only one person that was bordering on obese. Finally I must say that I enjoyed the food as did the rest of family and will most certainly go to McDonalds again.

Miserable staff taking an age to get served although it was quite empty.Sat outside whilst maintenance guy chucked buckets of disinfectants around then power washed round the tables whilst we were eating. Not good

We had Mcdonalds food twice during our holiday stay, and it was of a good standard and service both times.

Quick service, order right! It isn't always . Not a cheap option but good for what it is. I think the microphone order could be clearer, it's sometimes difficult to hear the operative and them to hear you.

was desperate for some where to eat in Felixstowe so took a chance on a Mcdonalds which haven't used for years and now remember why.the bun is so sweet it sticks to your teeth and the meat in the burger is rubbish - now remember why never been again for years and wont be going again

I loved going to McDonald's as a kid and still do but as a massive fan of mustard I think you should start doing mustard once again or even just test it out and see how it sells this was one of my favourite mustards so please please please bring it back !!!!!!!!!!!!!

We stopped at Mc Donald's on our way back home after a holiday weekend in Felixstowe. The children each enjoyed a Kiddies Meal while the adults had a sweet chilli chicken wrap meal and a vegetarian burger. Tasty and compliments all around.

Went in a few times with kids the food was nice they were quick and polite and was really clean in there I would definitely recommend it

Went in nice food but u always get this one annoying boy keep coming over to talk to u when ur trying to eat
