Visited here a few days ago and I will definitely be going back. The Relish Club Sandwich is excellent. My wife had the Southern Fried Chicken Wrap and this was also very well presented and tasted really good. Thoroughly nice place for lunch, would recommend.

I dont usually write negative reviews but I was so embarrassed by the owner today that I feel compelled to warn others Customer Service is not only when everything is wonderful but should be key when dealing with complaints in a respectful way at least .... it's such a shame that I have been going regularly to Relish for quite a long time but recently we have noticed when we leave we smell of fat fryer...but I went today with my family and I got treated with contempt. I sent a jacket potatoe back as it was hard. I sat there patiently waiting for a replacement that never came and the waitress came over and said it had been taken off the bill. I presumed I would get a replacement meal as I had gone in there for lunch.....after a while when I realised this wasnt going to be the case I approached the manager who told me basically "the customer isnt always right" and that the potatoe was not hard ...I was made out to be a liar and treated me like I was a dirty cheat trying to get out of paying ...I was embarrassed to say the least over a jacket potatoe costing maybe £1 cost charging £7.50 ....I just wanted a nice lunch and to insult your customers is disgusting ....if I could of ate it I would of ...tbh I normally would push it round my plate and pay but the potato was rock hard!! let's say with plenty of choices and places to eat in leigh broadway i will not be returning EVER ...and ps clean your extractor fan!!

After placing an order for Sandwiches. We waited for a near hour!. Then they arrived both sandwiches were completely what we didn't order! Then they attempted to correct the order they got it wrong. Truly bad experience for something as stressful as a sandwich!

Walking through Leigh, the smell of fried onion filled the air outside the shop. I couldn't resist to try the cafe of which the smell was coming from. Ended up being the worst customer service experience of my life. The service was poor at best. All our drinks an food came out separately, the staff were slow an dim-witted. Foo wasn't great. Raw poached egg on my son's plate. Really weak and horrible twinnings tea. Watery coffee, which was replaced after telling them it wasn't right. The worst part of it was the arrogant owner who can't take criticism. When asked to see the manager, he defended and excused every issue we had. Eventually accused me of being drunk at 10.30 in the morning and asked us to leave. Probably the worst experience of my life if could give it 0 I would. Horrible at every level. I highly recommend NOT going here.

Tim and his team are so welcoming and the food is great! Love the bacon baguettes and hot chocolates they do!

My family and I have visited this restaurant a few times and always enjoyed a decent breakfast. It's a fairly small place but the food is good and the service fine.

We live in Leigh and our loyalty has always been with a rival breakfast cafe. We thought we'd try somewhere new and 'shocked' was the word of the day. Our food was 50% less in cost, the service was much much nicer with smiles and welcoming body language, my coffee was arguably the best I've had in Leigh and the quality of the food second to none. I highly recommend giving it a go. The trendiness of surrounding competition means they live off their reputation and fail on value for money.

So happy I found this little gem! Staff are super friendly and the food is amazing and the pricing is great! Best goats cheese salad I have ever had - if you visit you MUST try!

Had afternoon tea with some friends. Service 1st class, excellent quality sandwiches, scones with Jam and clotted cream and cakes. Brilliant value and would recommend a visit.

Such a lovely environment the staff are so friendly and the food was amazing!! I had the jacket potato and it was so lovely!! The place is so clean and so welcoming :)

My mother and I visited today, we had the most loveliest lunch we both had toasties that came with a salad garnish and coleslaw. We had brilliant service from when we entered to the moment we left, the waitresses couldn’t of been more helpful and they were so busy too. We felt looked after and got to enjoy a great lunch and my smoothie was good too! Thank you for a great service ladies and to the gentleman that served us at the till, left with smiley faces!

Excellent breakfast . Best in Leigh..great quality food and all cookes fresh. Well presented, coffee and service good. Also great value for money. Brilliant!!!

Came here today for a some breakfast. I had a cheese and pickle panini and my bf had a chicken and pepperoni panini. Both were very nice and came with a side salad and coleslaw. It was one of the waitresses first day today and she did a great job. Very friendly staff with great service in a very clean environment. Will definitely be coming again.

We called in here looking for a quick lunch. They said they had home made soup so we went in. There was a choice of roast chicken or roast veg. We both went for the chicken, plus a couple of coffees. The soup was excellent. Really tasty with lots of pieces of chicken and vegetables . Pretty much the best soup we’ve had in a long time. Bread served with it was also very nice. Other diners looked to have some good looking food too. Recommend it!

We visited Relish today with our young daughter and just like today, we are always made to feel extremely welcome. The staff are extremely friendly and nothing is too much. The children’s menu is extensive and great value for money. I’m gluten free and often struggle for choice- but not here. I had the most amazing club sandwich. The staff even went out especially to buy me some GF bread once when I attended with my daughter! That is what you call excellent customer service! We will most definitely return soon. Thank you x

Just had breakfast here with my 2 children and my niece. I had the English breakfast and they have a create your own section which the kids wanted to do as they don’t eat all of the things included in the breakfast. My tea was included (although not sure if it was) and the kids had their drinks. All came to a massive £48. Don’t get me wrong I know it’s not cheap eating out but blimey I asked for a detailed bill as I would like to check as I had made it about £5 cheaper but they were unable to provide me with this which was very disappointing, I was told they would have had it right but I think my right would have been being able to check it as it seemed a big difference. The food was good and the service was good it’s just a shame their till isn’t capable of printing a receipt with your items listed on it.

We go to Relish frequently. Great, simple food done well, good value and fantastic service (especially the fabulous Anna!) See you again soon!

My friend and I come here regularly for our lunch, the food is always good, and the service friendly.

I was taken out to lunch by a couple of friends, on of them is in a wheelchair and the other has had a stroke, and the staff were very very helpful in finding us a table, in fact they could not have done any more, they were so kind. the service with the food was good as was the food it's self. we will certainly go back.

Not sure what has happened to Relish. Arrived for lunch. Not busy, plenty of staff, but interminable wait, indifferent food and service. No excuse. Such a shame.

Had big Relish all day breakfasts and a veggie breakfast, went as a part of 4 all well cooked ,lovely service plenty of tea and masses of toast included nothing was too much trouble .can eat inside or outHighly recommended to all.Great find, will definitely return

Had a lovely lunch very tasty food and great friendly service my little granddaughters love having lunch here.

Went here for breakfast with my daughters and granddaughter. They had a booster seater which they attached for us.. we all had cooked breakfast and the scramble egg was lovely. After we had the most amazing lemon cheesecake!! I can not recommend it enough. We even bought 2 extra portions for our husbands! Clean and tidy and great service and the staff were polite and helpful.Reasonable price and good quality food

My mum and I took my 5 year old out for a treat as she had just left hospital. She wanted a ‘super special ice cream’ but as we were walking down Leigh Broadway she pointed out Relish and said that was where she wanted to go. We went in and asked if they could do a super special sundae, and the lovely staff agreed to make one for her, even though it wasn’t on the menu.I had a specialty chicken, bacon and avocado sandwich which was delicious, and my mum thoroughly enjoyed her bacon sandwich. The coffee was also really good.My daughters Sundae was a mixture of ice creams, marshmallows, cake and cream .... she could not of been happier.I completely and wholeheartedly recommend.

Visited Relish today for a late afternoon lunch. We had an absolutely delicious warm goats cheese salad. The staff were friendly, service was quick and it’s great value for money! Oh and the plate of nachos were great!!

We went to Relish for lunch and they served cold water for the tea (the boiler wasn’t on apparently) so we waited for 35 minutes and then went to check on our order the manager said they hadn’t started it honestly I was so annoyed and they said well sorry we don’t have an order for you. WONT BE GOING BACK EVER

Very helpful staff, friendly and really great food. With so much choice in Leigh Broadway in our opinion one of the best. Will definitely visit again next time we are in Leigh on Sea

Really friendly place with great value for money. I ordered the jacket potato and the portion size was amazing compared to how little the price was). Was very tasty and a great lunch. They also offer a takeaway service as well, which was a bonus. Great location and has accessibility for people with children in prams and the disabled. Outside seating area which is lovely if wanting a coffee and a small bite whilst watching the world go by. Service was quick and all staff were lovely.

We visited Relish for the first time for lunch and we weren't disappointed. The food was delicious and the service was very good. It was really good value for money. We will definitely go back!

Never disappointed with this lovely eaterie. Food is always of the top quality, once my friend and I just popped in for a coffe, is morning, and saw shepherds pie was on the lunch menu. We sat and waited for it to be ready. And other than my own, it was the best shepherds pie I have ever eaten in a restaurant. Well worth a visit

I normally go in when passing on the Broadway and love just sitting outside watching the world go by. I normally order no more than a coffee but the staff are so welcoming and nice that it makes me feel welcome. There is a nice calm atmosphere and I find the pricing very reasonable.

We often pop in to Relish for a family lunch when out in Leigh. They have a good selection and the food is fresh and tasty.

I visited relish for the first time today and was very impressed. The staff were extremely helpful and the service was very quick. I went for the goats cheese salad and it was delicious! Very reasonable prices. I enjoyed a healthy lunch by myself for under £10. I will be returning x

Me and my wife have visited Relish a few times now over the last couple of months. Always for breakfast - and the reason we keep going back is the excellent quality of the food. Always freshly cooked and piping hot. Special requests are catered for too (my wife hates soggy toast, so beans are put in a bowl just for her). The staff are always friendly and eager to help. We'll be going back again this weekend too I've no doubt.

I visit here often and always enjoy the selection of breakfasts, cakes and lunch. The food is flavoursome and well-presented. My only issue is the staff seem to be quite junior- I am of the same age and also work as a waitress so I don't say this to appear ageist, however sometimes they seem a bit clueless and I've waited 15-20 minutes for a coffee and a coke before when it's been very quite so I think some more training or a supervisor may provide an improvement. That being said unlike other places in Leigh all of the waitresses are friendly and welcoming. Overall, I do recommend and I will return

We visit often and find the service good, and the food is always great, they also have no trouble changing different fillings to jacket potato's should you want something different, to menu. Consistently good. X

Ok so have eaten here before so sort of a regular but nothing can excuse what happened today. So we ordered our food and waited 45 mins for it to arrive now it was a pleasant day and busy so didn’t mind. However when the food arrived it all went very very wrong, we had made a point as always when ordering for my son as he’s a picky eater that we just wanted a plain chicken burger just a chicken in the bun very boring as we always say. So when it arrived it had the full works salad and covered in Mayonnaise, so we returned it saying so sorry to be fussy but our son won’t eat the burger. We were told it will be redone, well what happened next was appalling the owner/cook came out with a new bun and thrust it into my fathers face saying very rudely there you go just to prove it’s a new bun. So a few mins later the new supposedly freshly cooked burger arrived, so just for piece of mind we looked inside the burger to find remnants of Mayonnaise still on the burger by now cold as well. So we went inside to speak to the cook/owner and was faced with a barrage of abuse and threats to call the Police as we said look we’ve had enough we haven’t touched the food and we will leave, as we left the owner was shouting abuse and threatening us stating he would call the Police on us. The burger want cheap £8 even though we had asked for no frills etc and as for the way in which the owner reacted was so rude I would urge anyone with eating allergies etc to give this place and it’s exceptional rude ill mannered owner not just a wide berth but a complete miss.

stopped in here for tea and cake after getting caught in a snow storm. The staff were friendly and helpful and the home made cake was nice. There isn't lots of choice but enough to choose from. We didn't eat a meal so i cant comment on this.

Lunchtime trip today. Had a lovely coronation chicken salad and chicken Caesar salad, with portion of fries on the side. Absolutely lovely, plenty of it and very tasty. Chips were an added bonus as well. Great friendly staff and prompt service, they couldn't be more helpful. We will return.

We had breakfast there for the first time yesterday, having visited a lot of other places in Leigh Broadway, but was amazed at the brilliant service, quality of the food and reasonable price for the location. I had eggs Benedict and must be one of the best I’ve ever tasted. My husband picked his own breakfast items and as a fussy eater was totally satisfied. Well done, we will be coming back

Me and three friends went in here today as we were going to the Estuary a few doors down but it was full and thank god it was. What a delightful little place with such friendly attentive staff.The food was so fresh and plenty of it. I was pleasantly surprised as the price was so good. There was a great selection of food which suited all of us and it was all perfect. Nothing was too much trouble for them and the place has a real friendly atmosphere.We have definitely found our new place to eat and will recommend Relish to everyone.I guarantee if you go in once you will be back! Well done to all the staff you have something that really works!

We have been to relish since we have been working in Leigh a number of times in the last two months. The food is delicious and service exceptional. I couldn't recommend this place more.It offer great value for money for the food. The offering of vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options is also a bonus.The cake is also tasty too. Will continue to eat at relish as it's the best place in town for lunch

Just had a delicious afternoon tea! Our server Maxine was so nice and very helpful she even changed some of the sandwiches and gave us extra cream! Loads of food and great service

The food at Relish is outstanding for breakfast, lunch or dinner. If you like Eggs Benedict, then you must visit Relish for breakfast. I have lived in the area for 7 years. Myself, my family & my friends eat here regularly. The food & service has been superb every single time we visit. It's great for all ages & my kids love the fresh thick milkshakes that are served in old style milk bottles. On Monday I tried the burger with goats cheese & caramelised red onion, this is now my new favourite burger. Relish have a 5 star food hygiene rating & deliver free within 3 mile. I cannot praise the food and staff enough. :)

Not only are the breakfasts wonderful, but they have the most tasty burgers, wraps and options for vegetarians. The service is fab..my fave place for a coffee after church on a Sunday! Always brilliant always welcoming

Real nice cake here, good service, not over priced BUT Pot of tea for 2 and you get one small teabag(yes it was small) has to be the weakest tea we ever brought in Leigh, it barely made any colour in the hot water, surely a better quality brand in a bigger bag or 2 in a pot would be better, recommend the cake but not the Tea, Coffee and Cake next time maybe.

Me and a friend stopped at Relish a couple of Saturday's ago and were greeted by the very friendly staff, we decided to sit outside as the sun was shining. We had a waitress named Tegan who was very polite, friendly, had a sense of humour and very accommodating. Nothing was a problem. The Cafe was very clean, the food was yummy and we would definitely recommend coming here.

Four of us sat down for lunch at 1.30 p.m. The order was placed and over half an hour later (the restaurant was by no means busy) three lunches arrived. Some ten minutes later a waitress came and asked if we had everything we wanted and we said the fourth lunch would be good. Another waitress came back and said only three orders for lunch had been given. The missing lunch was for a sandwich and we had been asked what bread we would like for this sandwich when the order was placed. There was no further action from the staff - by way of enquiry or apology. fortunately the lady concerned had a Cambridge bar with her so, in fact, did not break her diet!We had a word with the manager when we had finished and then she apologised - far too late and with no good grace. Staff need training.

Food , as always is fantastic. I had avocado and tomato on toast and my daughter had the breakfast. Stafc are friendlyvand service is fast. Milkshakes are divine btw !

This is my favourite place for tea and cake in Leigh. Really clean, good service and lovely cake. Sandwiches look good too.

We have had lunch here a few times now, usually the same meal as we really enjoy their smoked salmon & prawn salad. It has so much in & is very fresh & filling,Their milkshakes are delicious made with fresh fruit & Rossi's ice cream, not cheap but worth it! If you can get a front table it's worth it to watch everybody passing by.

Recently popped in for lunch. Great service, prompted and bright. Had a beer and their Hawaiian burger. It was gorgeous, cooked to perfection. Moist, great seasoning. ACE!

Very slow service, however food was good and reasonably priced.Took approx. 20 mins before anyone acknowledged that we had actually arrived and were seated waiting to be served . . was on the brink of leaving along with 2 other couples.By the time we were seen we had already viewed the menu and decided but the waitress gave us another menu anyway. We told her we had been waiting a significant time and that we already knew what we wanted so could you take our order now rather than waiting any longer.Food when delivered was gook / ok.Note: Restaurant was not busy and had 4 staff.

Just popped in for coffee and decided to add a bacon sandwich. Service was very quick and both the coffee and sandwich were first class and a reasonable price. Plenty of filling in the sandwich and just the right amount of brown sauce.Would recommend Relish to anyone.

Does what it says on the tin - good food, nice people, and, as mentioned, possibly the best Eggs Benedict in Leigh.

My friend and I visited this venue for the first time today and were very impressed with the lunches we chose. So tasty and beautiful presented. The staff were kind, polite, helpful. Nicely placed tables to eat at and natural daylight coming in particularly at back of the restaurant. Definitely will be returning soon!!

What a lovely little gem this place is great food really surprised I had the pulled pork topped burger and my wife had the goats cheese salad with chicken 10/10 for presentation and a choice of jacket chips sweet pototoe chips or curly fries and both were superb would recommend this little place for lunch the service was excellent a special thanks to Morgan our waitress for a faultless experience we will be back many thanks

We visited today to use a Groupon voucher which was a present for my Mother in Law. We had a lovely time, everything was very fresh and tasty and all the staff were very helpful. Lots of sandwiches, yummy scones and mini cakes. Would definitely recommend that you try it.

I can't tell you what the food was like because we walked out of here before being even being seated. Requested a table for 2 for breakfast. Lots of faffing around, but identified a table that was just being vacated. We were kept waiting by the door whilst they cleared the table. Bit more faffing around - no communication with us. Eventually we were asked to follow one of the waitresses (armed with cleaner and a cloth to the table). We then had to wait next to our table while she cleaned it, and chatted to one of the other waitresses. Still no communication. Table now half clean - chat continued. My daughter, who was treating me to breakfast looked at me and said "shall we go mum? they don't seem that bothered about us". So after close to 8 mins we went next door to the Estuary - within 2 mins we were sat down with our chosen drink and reviewing the menu.

Was okay but sandwiches very basic as l said before, we had more finger sandwiches with cheaper fillings ie about 4 egg mayo fingers about 4 of cream cheese/ cucumber and only 2 each salmon & ham. Would have been better to ask which fillings customers prefered Didnt think cakes would be to many peoples taste either

Decor isn't the best but the breakfast was very good. incredibly polite and well mannered staff - along with the food this a must in any restaurant and we were impressed.

Had chicken ceaser salad, over cooked croutons, lettuce swimming in the sauce, and the chicken was the worst part... processed, dry... awful! The afternoon tea looked nice but I don't think I'll ever being going back to try it! The staff asked how the meal was, I told them it wasn't great, they didn't seem to care at all.Wouldn't waste your money plenty of better places to eat in Leigh...

I often take my 8 year old daughter here for lunch and she now asks to go there and tells her friends they should try it! The staff are always very accommodating with the odd and extra requests we ask for. They cater for children fantastically, when my daughter was younger they would make her jam sandwiches cut into heart shapes. After a few visits one of the waitresses realised my daughter loved tomatoes and they started to bring a little dish of tomatoes out with her order. The food is always great. Love going here!

It's my first time on here, went here today with my gf, I had a breakfast even though it was 13.30 ( after breakfast had finished) I asked the man, he told me he would do it! Great!It was s bit busy in there and I overheard that they were short staffed because one of the staff had to attend a funeral, shame.I think they did s pretty good job with the number of staff they had. None of them were standing around.1 customer did not think so, he was a bit rude and demanded a full refund for waiting slightly longer than he believes he should have. Maybe he was having a bad day!?Oh well!My gf and me will definitely be returning hopefully very soon!x

Great place to go for lunch, whether you want just a sandwich, or jacket potato, burger, hot dog. Great selection, and fabulous cakes too!!Staff very friendly and helpful, the only slight criticism is that it was quite slow service to get the menus, but it was the height of lunchtime and very busy, we were lucky to get a table, so I cannot complain!Recommend to try, really nice if you want just a nice easy lunch without going to a proper restaurant, I have lived in Leigh for years and have never gone in there before, but will use regularly now!

I brought on Groupon afternoon tea for 2 with a glass of Prosecco. The sandwiches tasted great and the selection of cakes were yummy! It was very filling! Staff were very polite and on the ball. I would recommend to go here again next time, maybe for lunch!

The choice of good restaurants in the Broadway is one of the attractions of Leigh-on-Sea. But popularity can create problems, often very slow service, and this is something which Relish need to sort out.It was ten minutes before three of us were given menus and another five minutes before the order is taken. Frustrating, yes, but not disastrous. But then waiting a further 35 minutes to be served with a Salt beef panini, a smoked salmon dish and a chicken salad is not acceptable.This is a restaurant which provides a variety snacks and savouries at lunchtime and has an imaginative breakfast menu. The staff are polite; the atmosphere is friendly but the slow service - certainly on the Saturday we were there - is not acceptable. When I arrived, diners on the table next to us were enjoying a jacket potato dish that really did look appetising. I asked what it was like and they were complimentary - but added that they had to wait a long time for it! After they left, two more people sat there and after being ignored for about 10 minutes got up and left,.Relish has been one of my favourite places for a occasional lunches. This latest experience has changed my mind and opinion.

Have always loved Relish breakfasts. Good quality ingredients cooked well at reasonable prices. Chef always happy to do non-listed dishes - Eggs Royale being one and good enough to compete with any London eaterie. A long-standing breakfast staple for us as a family.

I eat here regularly always great food and service. The staff are lovely and friendly and always make sure we have enough to eat and drink. Poached eggs are always done perfectly by the young chef. Definitely recommend coming here!

Went in just after lunchtime. While checking the menu waitress came to order drinks. All fine. We then decided to have an early afternoon tea. As we had already ordered tea we said dont worry about the tea as we did not need another pot. The sandwiches and cakes arrived. Very small range of sandwiches and only 6 slices of bread in total. 2 scones which were nice and just some very small cakes. The sandwiches were average.Went to pay and was charged full afternoon tea price plus the cost of the tea we had ordered! Surely the tea should have been included to replace the pot we did not have with the afternoon tea? Price was about right for afternoon tea and it is in Leigh but have had better.

lunch catch up with a friend, staff very friendly, let me order from the breakfast menu even though it was lunch time, always a plus to be allowed what you fancy. No complaints,good food,nice staff and reasonable price. Will go again for afternoon tea as saw this being served to another table, looked lovely.

I visited anyway during the week as my wife had a Groupon for an afternoon tea. It took 25 mins after our booking time to receive any food and when it arrived it was disappointing. The sandwiches were average and the cakes were freezing cold to the touch - and rock solid. The young blonde waitress that we were served by was also rather unwelcoming but that may be due to being rushed off her feet as she appeared to be the only waitress serving during a half term? All staff seemed very young and miserable. Unsure whether this is just a badly run establishment or they were having a bad day. Either way - would not return or recommend.

Went here today for afternoon tea & Prosecco with a Groupon Voucher. What fantastic value for money, so many sandwiches, a huge scone with jam & fresh cream and loads of little cakes so many we couldn't eat them all and a whole bottle of Prosecco. We had a little wait as they were so busy but it was so worth it. Lovely friendly staff. Will definitely go again.

We visited for lunch on Saturday.. having been before and enjoyed the food very much. We were happy to find a table free and sat down..It took ages for a waitress to acknoweldge us and that was because we waved at them. Two women came in after us and sat next to us and were served immediately, though the braying volume they used to get attention was key. Unfortunately the waiting staff didn't seem to clock who was coming in and when and only wiped the table down when we got her attention and ordered. The service one we ordered food was slow..and we didn't order anything out of the ordinary. The final thing and this is personal.. I had Tuna steak salad. the tuna was ok, a little dry but the salad had oodles of olives in it and I don't like 'em, fortunately my friends do so I managed to get them out of the bowl eventually.,,,perhaps a little description of the salad would help cos I don't think I am the only person who doesn't do olives, even in Leigh...Will we return? I dunno, there are plenty of other places in Leigh to try.

Nothing fancy, but good food, good service and a clear desire to try and provide the best that they can. Eateries like this are to be commended for what they do and how they do it. A pleasant change. Recommended.

My 2 year old daughter and I have been a couple of times now and we are making it our new regular treat for a spot of breakfast. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The food is great and well presented. What I like about it is that it's kept simple but fresh. The prices are great too,not overly priced like a lot of other places along the Broadway. It's so nice to get service with a genuine smile and not the usual "up themselves attitude "you tend to get in Leigh. I highly recommend this place for eating in or taking away. Good job guys! Keep it up!

We had afternoon tea and it was delicious. We had a selection of fresh sandwiches, fancy cakes, warm scones with clotted cream and jam and a choice of tea or coffee.The staff were very friendly. The restaurant was welcoming. The food we saw being served to other customers looked wonderful. I would highly recommend a visit. The friend I went with said it was the best afternoon tea he ever had.

I found this cafe OK but a little all show no substance. A little overrated. Typical of Leigh. The service was less than OK - the waitress did not offer a highchair for the baby and forgot the spoon for the coffee and she was inattentive. Not much eye contact or smiles going on from the rest of the staff either, they looked miserable. Would suggest training. When we asked for and got the highchair (seat), it was a bit grimy and the straps were dirty. Would suggest a more hygienic, wipeable alternative. The toilet was dated. The bottle of Radox or Carex hand wash to the side of the basin had run out and there was little toilet paper left. At 12pm. Would suggest updating this room to keep in tone with the stage/front of shop. The food was OK. I had a smoked salmon bagel which came with fresh coleslaw and a side salad and I ate it all. Prices were fine, I thought. I would eat here again but I could take it or leave it. The cakes did look lovely, homemade with generous fillings.Come on, you have some nice decor there, the shop is in a good position on the Broadway, nice food- make the tweaks!

Went with family for breakfast, staff were very welcoming and accommodating.Menu had a wide variety of options which suited everybody, and they were able to cater gluten free which a lot of places don't in Leigh. Although it was busy, food arrived promptly. Food was very good quality - especially the sausages.Nothing seemed too much trouble for the waitresses and they were very attentive to us throughout.Overall, a reasonably priced, child friendly, clean eatery. We will definitely be returning!

Had afternoon tea here today using a groupon. Arrived about 20 mins early but staff were fine with that. The food was lovely, sandwiches had plenty of filling came away absolutely stuffed. Staff are very friendly will definately be recommending to friends.

This place is quickly becoming one of my favourites for breakfast in Leigh. I love their open breakfast ciabatta and it's very reasonably priced. The staff are lovely and the food tastes great. Would highly recommend it to anyone.

Popped in today for lunch , very delicious food , very reasonably priced , good selection to offer . Staff very polite helpful and welcoming . Would definitely come back

Absolutely wonderful. Delicious food, with more than enough food the five of us couldn't eat all the food for four people! The staff are very friendly and helpful providing great service. Cannot recommend highly enough we had a fantastic afternoon
