Had a lovely meal here the other day and was served by a lovely lady called Roxie. Always has a smile on her face and is quick to fix things if there’s something wrong and just has great customer service!

Two adults and two dogs. We came for lunch today. Food was great and the lady behind the bar was absolutely wonderful helping me with a discount we had. Loved the Cowboy burgers, cooked exactly how we like a burger and my husbands Katsu Burger was great too. Made to feel very welcome and it was a great lunch. See you soon xx

Ordered food 2omins ago still not here apparently we waiting for orherr tables but pub empty! Rubbish service this pub is run by kids who have no idea

Food was not the best and they got the orders wrong, cheeseburger was burnt and the chips were dry. There was annoying music which ruined the atmosphere. The worst thing was the wait,(there was barely anyone there), it was at least 1 hour and to be honest it was not worth it. Better off at the Wetherspoons! Absolute joke.

Lovely pub with friendly and efficient staff and reasonable prices

Up in my ratings I have to say Christmas was a write off however I came today and I am very fussy with my chips that I do not even get fish and chips, but I came for my birthday and the steak was banging even though my partner ordered it working the chips where amazing and I will be back xx

From start to finish all the staff are very attentive, the food is brilliant, and the atmosphere great, we will definitely be coming back again.....

Visited a couple of years ago and although everything was Ok it didn’t overwhelm. Yesterday on the other hand was a different story, I received one of you flyers and wanted to try it with my daughter now that it had been updated. Unfortunately I had a fall a couple of months ago so we had to put it off until I was back on my feet, we weren’t disappointed, the staff were very friendly and professional, and the food was Amazing! We couldn’t fault a thing and will definitely be back soon. Thank you

I was reluctant to visit on a week day lunchtime, when mum suggested it, as I thought there would be little atmosphere and it would be empty. I was very wrong. There was plenty of parking, the garden, bar and restaurant were busy but not packed and there was a really nice relaxing atmosphere. The food was quick, plentiful and very enjoyable and the staff were happy and friendly. Will defo be returning.

We had a lovely family get together yesterday in the Meadowlark and everyone enjoyed their meal. The service was good and we didn’t have to wait very long for the food. Special thanks to Aaron, who checked that everything was ok. He also brought the birthday cake to the table which the birthday girl was delighted with.

Always a good atmosphere. The pool table and dart board adds fun to the evening. Staff always friendly and happy to help 🙂

Very clean and staff pleasant. The Roast beef was delicious and served in generous portions. The vegetable are sparse but flavoursome. The “extra” portions of vegetables were very mean and not worth the price charged - two small florets of broccoli and a few rounds of carrots £2.29 as were the four small pieces of “extra” roast potatoes. Could do with warming plates as dinner quickly gets cold. Would come back.

Fantastic sunday lunch. Staff were fantastic mealsall arrived on time. All together.great food and generous portions. Staff couldn't have been more helpful. Thats why we made it our local for food or just drinks.

Called in to have dinner and watch the football. It is a very nice place to sit and do both. I had the vegetable curry, which was very good. The staff were excellent. A special mention for Aaron, who could see i was engrossed in the football, but checked if I needed anything as he went by. A very pleasant experience.

This place has a lovely atmosphere chilled and relaxed and also has all the sport if you like that!! Food is delicious served quickly and efficiently and staff are friendly helpful polite and courteous. We have been several times and returned for different occasions, have all been lovely, comfortable setting, Aaron was great too and has a lovely way with him being so friendly and listened to our order intently getting all things correct, very polite too, totally recommend this place 100%

Went to your establishment on Tuesday after work for some dinner, and was thrilled to have the lovely Wendy serve us. As always, she gave a great service, and when we asked for recommendations on the menu, she knew everything with no hesitation. She is attentive, bubbly and professional, lovely lady :)

Went for a meal on Monday 17/1..with 6 adults and 7 children, first time at this venue, the staff were fine, no issues, but the food in the main was awfull, burnt burgers, and I do mean burnt, hunters chicken almost inedible, kids managed slightly better, but most meals could not be finished,maybe it's a Monday thing, but no chance I would go back, need to spend a little more money on a better chef..

Wonderful service today! Young lady at the bar was very friendly and helpful and the young man bringing out food was lovely- he brought the wrong order(it was almost what I'd ordered) and before I could say it, he was back saying he'd made a mistake and replaced it! Honestly I wouldn't even have complained but the fact that they said they'd made a mistake I thought was amazing service!

Visited on a Wednesday night in January for their curry & drink deal. Service was extremely slow - our food took almost an hour to arrive which is not acceptable! Staff should have advised us in advance that there was a long wait for food!

I invited sixteen family members to a meal on new years day,my 90th birthday.We all had a great time,having all the family together was perfect.

Booked Boxing Day meal at the Meadowlark, it was the best ever. Staff on arrival to our reserved seat, waitress was so lovely and the starter, main and deserts were fabulous. Four family member’s and all empty plates, we’re all ready to go in and pre book for next year. No rush to leave at all, loved it. Mentioned it to our 4 friends and they arrived, hadn’t booked Xmas meal but they all had fabulous meals off the normal menu, they loved it too. 100%

The food was good and the staff worked really hard to make sure everyone was well looked after.

Attended the breakfast with Santa. Had a wonderful time. The grandkids got to meet Santa, have a picture taken and got present each. We had a great morning, breakfast was on point. Staff were so helpful as usual. Thank you to everyone at the Meadowlark🤩🎅

40 minutes to prepare and serve a Nachos, chicken strips, chips and a tuna baguette topped with COLD cheese.

Booked in advance for the Festive menu, on arrival was escorted to our reserved table and waited on at the table for both food and drink, the service was excellent and could not fault the food, had the traditional Turkey roast, a good size portion with all the usual trimmings. Would definitely recommend and will visit again soon.

Visited end of November the food was nice , little bit of a wait but it was busy so that was expected , Ben served us at the bar and was lovely and helpful , great service !!

At the end of the day it's near on impossible to get that many plated up at once so we were expecting a bit of a delay but they came out fairly quickly and piping hot. Came to have a Christmas meal with a big group 50 of us, I have never been before and I have to say the food was cold, no one ate together, the burgers were burnt you could taste the charcoal the chips were cold the Brussels were cooked to death. Booked for 12 started came 1 hour 20mins later, then mains was about another 45 minutes, one person on my table has sat while everyone else eats with no meal, I would never book to come here for food again, the only good thing was the company of the others I was with, one female staff member had such a terrible attitude everything seemed to much trouble Do not bother booking

Came for a Xmas meal large group, all the food was cold, the burgers tasted of charcoal, chips were cold, Brussels cooked to death, the plates were hotter than the food, table booked for 12 and still sitting waiting for dessert at nearly 3pm, really can not cater for large groups, massive disappointment, definitely will not be back.

There were six of us and we enjoyed a lovely lunch, food was great, as was the service and very well priced.

Great food, great value, great quiz!

A friend recommended the Meadowlark to us. And we were not disappointed. We went simply for a meal and have a night off from cooking. We were very pleasantly surprised by the whole experience. It was a busy Saturday night and when we ordered we were told it might take half an hour for the food. But both ourstarter and mains arrived quite quickly. Food was well cooked and hot. Portions plentiful. Service friendly and efficient. Prices very fair even before a voucher discount. I can't find any fault and hence my 5 star rating. We will be back

The staff are great especially Wendy she makes your visit so much fun and personal. The food is fantastic cooked and presented so nice. The atmosphere is pleasantl and friendly. What can you do to improve be this good next year

A restaurant and bar- interesting vibes. Found near the local Asda, the Meadowlark is the place if you want to grab dinner after your big shop. Reasonable waiting times, especially considering the quality of the food. Also, a restaurant having a bar has it's perks.

We spent a very nice time recently celebrating my brothers and sister in laws renewal of vows reception and had a buffet lunch, we needed vegan and gluten free as well as normal food and was not disappointed as food and staff were extremely helpful, we left decorations to the staff who also did not disappoint so all in all a very satisfying and enjoyable time was had by all Thank you

I edited my last review on experience yesterday. The roast dinner was not good, the service was slow but we were told. But the meal was cold. We had large roasts. We swopped one and got a small roast. We did tell waitress Wendy who got us a dessert for one person. The carrots cold, potatoes horrible. Can't understand why is changed.

Very noisy. Bar staff didn't recieve my order from the app. Waited 40 mins. No attempt to apologise or attempt to quieten down the ruckus.

The staff are very nice 👍 and the food is delicious 😋 and they are also Dog 🐶 friendly in the Bar area.

We've visited here 3 times since moving to Shoeburyness. The first time in May was good with no issues, that was on a weekday lunch. But the following two visits have been on the weekend. We had a Sunday roast in June and lunch yesterday (Saturday). Unfortunately, both times despite not being very busy in the pub the food service has been incredibly slow. I assume this is due to a skeleton staff. The roast was nothing to write home about but OK. However, lunch yesterday with our friends was poor. The main problem being the food being tough and overcooked. One of my sons had pasta which was fine, but the others sausage was clearly blackened & burnt. My fries were very tough and the other child who was with us, had very overcooked nuggets and waffles. Someone needs to ease off the frying /cooking times. Nachos and burger was OK but pies were dry and tough also. We should have complained but we'd waited so long we were running behind schedule and kids were restless. So we've just decided not to return given the Weatherspoons nearby or old Garrison offer better value, service times, food quality and consistency. Its a real shame as it's a nice sized and well decorated pub. Also the ball machines at back ate my child's money, we told staff behind the bar but nothing was offered or done about it.

Very nice restaurant with a beer garden to watch all sporting events. Food is very nice but was let down with watery cocktails and not much alcohol could be tasted. One of the servers wasn’t very pleasant ignoring requests and not the most accommodating.

I booked here for a tea party themed party for my 3 year old son’s birthday and was so pleased with how it turned out. On arrival everything I had asked for was set up and decorated beautifully ready for the party. The buffet food was lovely and plentiful, I was also offered cakes and scones suit the event, they were beautiful and exceeded my expectations. A huge thank you to Hayden and his team for all of their efforts in ensuring our party went to plan and for also making us feel like nothing was too much trouble.

Great pub for lunch when the computers work. Sometimes misleading as the two meals for the price of one is not clearly presented which makes the pub look expensive.

As always service was great, all staff seem happy in their work, they go above and beyond to make sure you have a good experience especially Wendy. Food always presented well, hot and large portions, definitely good value for money. Restaurant always clean and tidy.

Had a great experience at the Meadowlark, staff were super friendly and very efficient on a busy Sunday. Food was fantastic and excellent value for money. Great atmosphere for the Man Utd v Liverpool game. Will definitely be returning very soon!

Great food, lovely atmosphere, wide variety of food and drinks to select from and most importantly very polite staff members and managers who make everyone feel welcomed. Definitely recommend coming here that's for sure.

The meadowlark will always get a 10/10 for me, you’re greeted with a lovely beer garden that you can watch the football outside on the screen! They have a wide verity of alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks, a food menu that caters to anybody even the fussiest of eaters! This pub is extremely friendly and very family orientated, it caters for children’s needs also. Very accessible for disabilities both visible and non. I don’t think you’ll find a more close knit team, they work very hard and strive to make our visits the best everytime. I highly recommend this pub for anybody
