Reign Bar & Lounge in Thanet

My husband chose the roast beef whilst I had the roast chicken. The food was amazing excellent variety of veg and flavours were fantastic. The service was also extremely good would definitely recommend. We will definitely return again.

A group of lady friends (of retirement age) were in Broadstairs for a day trip from Essex and, as you do, wanted to find somewhere nice for lunch. We had walked the prom and had a good look around the shops and were searching for somewhere nice for good fish and chips. Plenty of choice there but we came across the Reign Bar with its attractive 1930’s facade and special offer board - starter and main for £14.99. We were welcomed by staff who kindly organised tables so the six of us could sit together. The menu choices were good - most of us choosing the mushroom starter and, of course, the fish and chips. Both of these were good sized portions and were absolutely delicious! The service was exemplary- friendly and helpful, and I would certainly recommend this venue if you want a lovely lunch on your day out.

Great breakfast, using local produce. Thoroughly recommend the Reign breakfast and The smoked Salmon with eggs on sour dough. Stylish decor and beautiful setting.

From outside to the inside we were so impressed, the decor was very tastefull and luxurious looking The staff were so attentive and friendly The set lunch was amazing food was very good quality, portions generous and cooked beautifully. The owner was very friendly and great to see him mucking in cleaning etc says a lot. We have booked a weekend stay in Broadstairs just so we can come for dinner Thankyou

This was a lovely afternoon lunch/dinner! We had the light lunch option but it was certainly not light but this is not a negative we got a lot for our money big and tasty portions. The waitress was lovely so bubbly and happy which was nice to see. We sat outside and it was a lovely sun trap over all good experience.

We met family and friends for a kind of reunion, we had the best time, the sea bass was amazing, we had a lovely waiter, James, he was very attentive. The atmosphere was magical, vibrant and had really excellent music, we drank, ate and danced. Really enjoyed our evening, can’t wait to go back.

Best roast ive eaten, perfectly cooked and so many beautiful flavours. The rich gravy binded it all together. Very memorable dining experience. From the tender meat, the textures of the cream cabbage to the overall enjoyment. Delicious red wine stunning wine glasses. It's a testament to the skill and care put into creating such a satisfying meal. Live singer just topped it off. Thank you

Fantastic breakfast - smashed Avacado on toast with bacon. Would highly recommend Reign Bar. It was a lovely chilled experience with beautiful food and great service.

Not only the best breakfasts in Broadstairs but also Thanet. The decor is stunning, the staff are lovely, the atmosphere is amazing and you don’t feel rushed at all. To top it off the food is unreal, the flavours that run though the food is something I’ve never experienced and I can’t wait to come and try dinner. I feel it’s almost a dinning experience rather than just a bit of food. Thanks guys

We had a fabulous Sunday Roast in The Reign Bar. Everything was cooked to perfection and great value for money. The service and surroundings were great. Definitely recommend the cocktails, best Pina Colada I've ever tasted. Was also lovely to have live music while we ate. Looking forward to going in an evening or for breakfast 😊

Great breakfast today. Reign has a dog friendly section so we ate in there. Fab spot. Food was great. We had full English and couldn't fault it. Team there warm and welcoming and attentive. Would highly recommend!

My friend and I visited this restaurant on Thursday lunchtime. We were welcomed by the lovely staff and shown to a great table. The decor is beautiful and the staff so friendly. The place is lovely and clean and the toilets were immaculate which is always a good sign. Our order was taken promptly for drinks and food. The cocktails were amazing! The staff were very accommodating with the food order and nothing was too much trouble. The food itself was delicious and very well presented. We had no complaints whatsoever. I recommend you give this place a try when you are next in Broadstairs. They also have live music nights which I'm assured are worth a visit. We will definitely be back to give the evening menu a try.

Had an amazing lunch today with my family, the service from everyone was 5 star especially from Elizabeth, who was very attentive. Food was divine, recommend the seafood sharer board. compliments to the chef! Will definitely be returning to try the breakfast and evening menu!

Find somewhere better ? You will not FACT , its a great place to be with friends & family for a cheeky cocktail or cold beer and if wanted a lovely meal , the Sunday Roasts are exceptional and mid week food perfect, great staff and excellent service , in better weather the outside terrace is charming and with heaters on hand and a blanket if required its a perfect place to be , and your four legged friend is welcome too ..

There were 10 of us. The service was great.The food was excellent We will definitely be back.The new owner was very accommodating.

We visited this beautiful restaurant yesterday lunchtime and was greeted by the lovely hostess that seated us and gave us our menus. We opted for the Gavi di Gavi wine which was delicious and very reasonably priced to eat we ordered a cheese platter and a meat one to share. We also had the trio of croquettes which were delicious!! The whole experience was amazing, the great food, the good service, atmosphere and decor were all top notch, and don’t even get me started on the cocktails!! Wow!! We will definitely be back soon.

Warm and classy atmosphere. Extremely luxurious interior design whilst holding onto a warm and homely feel. Tina is a fantastic owner. Genuinely would recommend to anyone.

We visiting the Reign Bar on Sunday, our second visit in a week. The Staff were so friendly and made us feel very welcome. A lady called Tina chatted with us on our first visit and was a joy. We had cocktails and watched the world go by. When we are on Broadstairs again we will definitely return.

Used to love this place and go regularly as it was just down the road. We booked a table for cocktails tonight to meet friends as it’s busy in the summer but it’s changed. We arrived to be told - new owners - you can’t book for less than 6 (we booked for four) - find a table if you can and bar service. The music was loud, the bar stacked with dirty glasses and a big hen do so we left and went to Delilah’s’ opposite which was great. What a shame we won’t go back but glad we have found a new nice cocktail bar in Delilah’s.

We had our engagement party at Reign this weekend as a private event and it was incredible. Shanade and all of the bar staff were all so accommodating, organised and made our night so special. The cocktails are amazing and the decor is beautiful meaning you need little to no decorations. Thank you all!! xx

Visited with a group of friends, ordered cocktails & luckily it was 2 for 1. Very strong & very nice. We were merry in no time. Setting is very classy, niceky decotated & relaxing. Staff very approachable. Would return.

Visited Reign for another “Dinner and Jazz” evening. Once again we had a terrific time. The band were excellent and, as usual, the food was amazing. Thank you “paps”! The one thing that always stands out for us at Reign is the attentive and friendly service. It’s such a great venue either for drinks on a short stay or for an evening such as this!

This has to be the best place for cocktails nearer the restaurants in Broadstairs. I went here one evening and had a lovely time, it was busy too so the ambience was great.

Lovely friendly staff. The cocktails were amazing in particular the Eggnog Martini. Shanade even shared the special recipe with me! Great location to.
