Always had good freshly cooked food from here, big menu to choose from with plenty of choice. Never had to ring them to chase delivery as they've been on time every time and friendly drivers

Sort your service out. Rude on the phone pretending I haven't ordered

They cancelled our order and didn’t send an email telling us . We waited an hour and then had to call them to ask about our order and they told us that is cancelled and they can’t do anything. They have charged us for the meal and have not refunded us . Lousy staff

Great takeaway! pizza was lovely and the sides I got tasted great too. Food was hot upon arrival which sounds silly to say but a lot of places will give you cold food unfortunately. I got a delivery and it arrived sooner than estimated.

Just awful. Way overpriced for substandard food. I had a large parmo - the chicken wasn’t a chicken breast, but 2 wafer-thin frozen chicken burgers! And it was cold! The pizzas are decent…but paid £6 for extra pineapple and cheese - received 6 little pieces of pineapple and no extra cheese! (They are very tight with the cheese anyway!) £6!!! And £2.50 for delivery is a rip-off! Also ordered a chicken shawarma mix wrap and chips…hardly any chips and the food was cold, the wrap was 90% donner meat and 10% “chicken-type product” and it gave me food poisoning!! Also, like all pizza shops in Thirsk, the burgers are disgusting. Would rather get a Maccy D’s. The sides and chicken sides are all a rip off. It’s just frozen chicken products and very tight portion sizes. I suspect this place won’t last much longer.

Burger and chips was goodfor the price

Ordered a pizza and a kebab at the weekend. Arrived in good time and the pizza was one of, if not, the best I’ve had from an independent takeaway in the area. Sadly, I can’t say the same about the kebab. Whilst it was a generous amount of meat, it was beyond bland and unseasoned. I took part in the Thirsk takeaway kebab lottery and lost once again!

Chicken burger was really good, they even added sauce as requested, good food. Delivery was slightly late however came hot so no major issues

None of the food was right on our order.

Bad customer service, added salad when notes said no salad, burgers un edible , melted meatballs not cooked correctly and lid not even put on foil tray, kebabs not even made into kebabs

Food was absolutely diabolical, everything was stone cold and hard. Still not received a call back from manager. If you want decent food then please go somewhere else as this was shocking and isn’t worth the price of the service charge. Will not be ordering from this place again.

Just paid £40 for what my dogs won't even eat. Cold soggy chips, cold ish pizza, had to pay extra for a salad for the kebab......new to the area.....never again it was horrid. If this was served up where we have moved from they would have got it back !!!!!

Worst kebab in Thirsk - donner was grey, scolding hot in some places and stone cold in others, smelled like off meat. Chicken swarms was mushy and other parts dry.

Absolutely abysmal! Paid nearly £17 for a quarter pounder and a piece of cake! When it got it they got the order wrong! Rang to complain! The girl who answered was rude and dismissive. Never again! Such poor quality takeaways in thirsk!

Horrendous. Got the order wrong, then took 45 mins to remake pizza and redeliver.. the pizza then had so much cheese on that it was genuinely inedible. Someone teach these guys how to make pizza, please.

Used to be a good takeaway. But tonight's car crash of a meal for our group was a complete waste of nearly £50. Never again!

I was tired and hungry so you know..... Pizza was OK, Ive had worse but I've also had better for a lot less. Prices at this shop are ridiculous. £16 for a 12inch pizza and a can of pop that's restaurant prices not bloody takeaway. The actual customer service was nothing special either so I see no justification for the amount of money they are asking, seems more than a little greedy to me.

Not full order missing garlic bread

The kids pizza was spice sauce on it which my 5 year old child hate it. The other pizza was far too greasy !

Ordered a chicken kebab and it was down there with the worst I have had. The chicken is clearly roasted in the oven in advance and quickly fried off to finish. It's bland with no marinade or seasoning. I could easily make better myself at home. Will not return.

So the food here is mediocre at best but have used them occasionally when my local takeaway has been closed, I've placed orders on a Saturday 4 times in maybe 8 months all of which have been rejected 30 minutes to an hour before the food was scheduled for delivery, I'm not bothered if they reject the order but do it at 5:30 when I place the order not at 8:00! so I would of had chance to order from elsewhere. The first 3 times I collected myself but never got a refund for the delivery charge of £5.60 and gave up after numerous emails, so this time I refused to pick it up and said they should deliver as promised and explained what had happened in the past, he apologised and said he would get his manager to ring me back. Who rings back and abruptly said your order has been rejected you will receive a refund in 3 to 5 working days and hangs the phone up! So absolutely shocking customer service you would think with them being on an industrial estate outside of town they would make more of an effort to keep customers happy that want delivery but obviously not!

Have had regency pizza many times before and they are usually good. This time however, the cheese on both our pizzas was overdone. Not burnt, just a little too browned for our liking. I think this is to do with the timer on the oven conveyor belt, which may have been knocked off it's setting and running for too long. Pizzas also took a little longer to come out than normal, so maybe this explains it and the setting can be adjusted? Nevertheless, the flavour was good and both pizzas were perfectly tasty.

My hgv vehicle broke down at dalton ind est, and i was hungry, i had been there for hours and was waiting for recovery. I googled a takeaway near me, and found regency, they delivered me a pepperoni pizza, which was great, and the delivery lady brought me back some coffee and cold drink, which was a real life saver thankyou very much! Great staff and company and good food

Ordered pepperoni hot and cajun chicken pizzas. Came as just pepperoni with no veg or jalapeños despite asking several times. The cajun chiken was covered in red hot finger chillies, too spicy to eat unless you secretly wanted a phal pizza. That's not cajun chicken! Onion rings soggy. Had food from here twice before and it was nice, not again, awful.

Insanely good food!!!! So so tasty. If you want pizza go here, one of the tastiest pizzas I've ever had! Great value too! We're on holiday here from Cornwall, and we totally need one of these down there!!! Somebody please do it. So much better than Domino's. Please come to Cornwall!!!!!

Ordered a takeaway from Regency, spot on timing of delivery. One item was missing, quick call and the item was delivered really quickly with profuse apologies. Really impressed with the customer service and positive friendly attitude from the person who answered the phone and the female delivery person. Great food, good value. Highly recommended!

Great pizzas always first choice pizza shop!

We had a pizza, jalapeno poppers, Mexican chips and chicken poppers. We hardly ever get takeaway because it's usually so expensive and disappointing but this was great! All freshly cooked, not greasy and tasted great. Plenty of food for 3.

First time having food from here, parked up for the night outside and Googled for something to eat and these came at the top for where I was parked, placed my order and it was ready for collection quickly, I had a Chicken Wrap, meatball melt and cheese chips, was great and good value for money, and there was more than enough, can definitely recommend and will be going back again next time I'm parked there for the night

Very clean little fast food shop. First time here very impressed. Chilli sauce needs a lot of work on as it was grainy tomatoes blended, as for any heat they forgot to undo the top on the chillies lol. Kebab was ok had better had worse. The pizzas looked very nice I will try one of them next time I park round that area again.

Ordered stuffed crust, got a regular base.. Toppings were fine except there was a tonne of garlic dumped all over it for some reason? so it was basically inedible.. (EDIT, Pollo pizza with bacon) Otherwise it was hot but quite greasy. Mozzarella sticks were crispy and soft in the middle, basically perfect. Shame the pizza was so bad.

got a large kebab to eat in my lorry not 100yds away by the time you get to it it's gone cold and hard REALLY not impressed and WHY is the pitta done in a toaster that was like a door wedge put that out for the birds... never get it right !!! on the plus side the chilli is exceptional.. there's a few of us drivers been talking and we all think the same.. might be time to get it delivered from the town centre... I've told the staff on a previous visit the meats cold and hard.. breads no good etc.. got a great reply of what I thought I heard was "walk into town then"...

We moved to Thirsk during lockdown when everything was closed. We found Regency pizza and it now our go-to pizza takeaway. They are efficient, and the food is good quality. They are considerate of social-distancing when dropping the food off and are always friendly. I will continue to order from here and would recommend to others - especially because they do 18" pizzas as well which I have a lot of time for!

Great pizzas. Collection or delivery. Good prices and offers. Our kids thinks these are the best and I tend to agree.

First time going, and it was really awful!! Pizza was really greasy, all the topping fell off and the base was like dough. Chips were like cardboard. So disappointed! Going to stick to where I know from now on!!

Good variety of pizza's and other well cooked food to be taken away

Extremely poor customer service and waiting time. Ordered our takeaway at 5:55 to be delivered for 7:15. We rang at 7:30 after not receiving our order to check where it was, we were told it would be half an hour. We then called again at 8:10 when we still had not received our order, we were told it would be another half an hour to 45 minutes. After complaining that it has already been an hour since the order was due they promised us some complimentary cake and a bottle of Pepsi. The order then arrived at 9:05 with no complimentary food as promised.

Regency Pizza was my go to pizza shop in town and they never let me down with customer service (which was always amazing) and food. But during my last visit I ordered a Meat treat pizza on Sunday (8th March). And It didn't taste right but I wasn't going to complain to them about it. But the following day on Monday I was In a horrible state. Stomach pains, Sweats, vomiting, Diarrhoea and severe headaches. After consulting a doctor they said i had got food poisoning and I had not eaten anything dodgey previously. So as it stands I'm very disappointed and won't be eating from Regency or even any other pizza places for a while as it's put me right off. But maybe this was a one off and so I won't slander Regency more than I may have done with this review.

Kebab od the usual terrible British kebab. Pizza good though

We just ordered two burgers and a kebab pizza. The pizza was Lovley but the burger and chips were cold. Really spoilt the meal and we waited an hour for it. Just a shame it came cold.

The pizza (The BBQ base Meatinator in particular) is the best I've ever tasted. The dough, the toppings and that BBQ sauce are heavenly. If you opt for a garlic dip to go with it, you won't be disappointed. However, the donner meat is bordering on below average. It is often dry and comes in little scraps (as opposed to juicy long strips.) I have ordered the donner meat several times and it tends to be the same story every time. The burgers are ok but nothing to scream about. The delivery guys are ALWAYS polite and often engage in some light hearted conversation whilst handing you your food. The girl who sometimes answers the phone (I think her name is Emma) is always polite and extremely efficient. Is it wrong to say that she has a bit of a 'sexy' phone voice too? Overall, the service is always good and the pizza's are ridiculously tasty. I'd give five stars for the service and the pizza, (oh wait the curly fries are good too) but the burgers and in particular the Donner meat let it down, somewhat. For that reason, it's an overall score of 4 stars from me.

I don't no what has happened to this place but omg food tonite was so bad I could hardly get my knife through it as it was so tough it tasted like recooked chicken really terrible waste of money must have a new chef maybe such a shame won't be ordering here again sorry

Went here while on vacation in Thirsk with the promise of a good pizza (Review). Found it odd that it was in an industrial unit but thought no worries. Went inside and it was a lovely clean looking open kitchen with staff chatting to what looked like a few regular customers. One of the pizza chaps looked like he was having some form of melt down in the background. We where left waiting nearly 10 mins before any staff approached us after telling them when we arrived we wanted to order. The same chap that was having a melt down , asked for one of the XL pizzas to which he replied they had sold out ! So then we changed our order to some regular sized pizzas only to be told 2 hour wait lol honestly he just didn't want to make us any pizzas !! Went to a place in the town centre that looked busier and got two LX pizza within 20mins .

Kebab meat was hard partners was full of oil she had her replace mine was like leather not impressed Don t think I'll be going there again kebab meat was like it had been sat for an hour or two

Enjoyed the pizza, without a long wait time. Was nice to see the cleanliness of the kitchen whilst I picked up the pizza. Always makes me feel better about what I've eaten!!

Just got my second burnt parmo on the trot from this place. I called the manager to complain, it transpires that it was the manager that served me, and she accused me of lying! The manager knew the product was burnt and still put it in the box; happy to take my money for a product that was inedible which is tantamount to theft. The only thing worse than the parmo was the attitude of the manager in handling my complaint. Avoid at all costs until the manager is replaced and they listen to customer feedback. 0/5
