Refreshment Village in Preston

Been using this takeaway for over 2 years, never had any issues, the staff are friendly, food is always good, their fries are the best quality. Lots of variety of food to choose. Reasonable prices.

They have amazing pizza and garlic bread, great for a family pizza night.

Probable the best pizza in Preston. These guys are always super busy but the food quality is always good. The Asian Style with green chilli is our go-to and never disappoints. Prices are very competitive.

Fantastic food, made at premium quality. Amazing service with a smile. Always a pleasure to come here. Been coming since they opened in 1987 and will keep coming as I prefer their food over there also their homemade garlic and chilli sauce cannot be compared elsewhere!

Food has gone downhill in recent times. This place used to be the go-to but the food is no longer as it was. The pizza has barely any tomato sauce on these days, they either put wayyy too much of everything or don’t put enough. I bought a garlic bread which had so much garlic that it soaked through the box, through a wod of tissues and into my seat. Prices have also gone up massively, costing almost twice what it used to

Disgusting behaviour. Placed an order over the phone for my regular pizza for collection. When I got there to collect the pizza and asked for my order but he tried fobbing me off with someone else's pizza. When I said that's not what I ordered anf im not taking it he didn't like it and started throwing tantrums. The customer who placed that order came to collect his pizza whilst the staff was still arguing with me. Instead of apologising for his mistake and behaviour he then said I never rang or placed an order. I showed him the call I made then he started swearing at me.

Ordered a veggie pizza and a garlic bread with cheese. Tasted amazing and the guy that served us was super friendly, had a funny chat with him about my girlfriend paying too. Demolished the food. Will definitely keep coming back! Highly recommended.

This used to be buzzing with lots of people, but there is not much footfall through town now. However, the food is consistently great here. Always enjoy their food and service.

One of the best burgers I've tried, loved the fresh chilli in there! The chips with chilli and garlic is hands down the best chilli and garlic I've had ever.

Ordered pizza today it was all burnt when I called them to complain they asked for pictures which I sent them. They asked whether I’d burnt it by putting in the oven!!!! Very very bad unprofessional rude and disrespectful staff who don’t value their customers. Won’t ever be going to this takeaway again they have very badly trained staff!

Been a happy customer for 30 years coz their Hot Shot pizza is always consistently the best, never had one like it, anywhere. Extra Garlic and Chile sauce on top and a side salad, living large. Always been greeted with a smile. Great work guys.

Omg, why hadn't I tried this place before today. 18mths here and only 5 minutes away. Pizza the best, chips so crispy and tasty. Guy on counter, so friendly. Cracking customer service. in this place the food was good but the the staff was very bad and rude at the customer and the staff dont even accept the wrong they have done and instead of that they argue back ina a rude way main problem hear are the staff and they have to be changed as soon as possible

Pre-ordered food on saturday to collect when finished work to take home for the family who are all at home in lock down, all the food was 5* we had a mix of 3 different types of kebabs, a pizza, garlic bread and chicken pieces with fries great value and the staff were so friendly and helpful.... couldn't fault it at all..... 🌮🍕🍟🍗👌👍🌟

Great takeaway food. Usually a small queue but that's because food is good so they always have a trickle of customers. Limited parking on the roadside but can usually get a space. Kebabs are excellent. Service is great and very reasonably priced.

Ordered the double cheeseburger with chips.Great tasting burger, juicy too and the chips taste delicious too.They are crispy and taste so good. I would like to know what they fry them in. The service was excellent too. The food was delivered quickly and I enjoy their homemade sauces too.

Used to be nice however this establishment has just gone down hill over the last 4/5. I believe they were even shut down for several days due to health and hygiene. My son loves their fried chicken and they do a decent chicken kebab but I wouldn't really recommend anything else. Great customer service however.......

Have stayed loyal to this place for well over a year... often going and making really big orders on a 2 monthly minimum basis... Used to be incredible. But the last few times it’s just not hit the mark. Last time we all had stomachs upsets and assumed it was just a bad day for them or something but last night just really hit home that this pizzas just not good anymore.,, we are all saddened by it but we won’t be going here anymore. Looking for other Gem recommendations

Recently ordered twice in last month. The queue was horrendous because they have been getting there orders wrong. Told me 10 mins on the phone but it took 45 mins and 55 mins in total. Gave me the wrong order twice in the shop. Did not offer discount for wasting my time. Pizza had hardly any cheese on when got home. The staff are disappointing. They dont know what they are doing. It used to be a good takeaway not anymore they have lost a good customer. But I'm just 1 of them. Avoid this from now
