Great coffee in huge mug. Macaroni cheese beautiful. Bacon and sausage cob lovely.

It is a really cosy place, had a delicious cob and coffee that came out perfect and very quick. The staff seemed really nice and knew many locals by name and that shows excellent costumer service. Thank you ladies and see you again

Absolutely disgusted in the customer service given today when visiting Refresh cafe in Arnold. I’ve visited this cafe a few times before and have enjoyed thier breakfast menu but after today I will never go again!! Me and my friend ordered a coffee, panini and a jacket potato for our 6 year old girls. Firstly our latee came out with with lumps on top, which we thought might of been curdled milk, when the lady came out with food we asked if we could leave the coffee and have a refund which the server agreed and said she understood why.. Then in my daughters jacket potato I noticed what looks like curly hair running threw the beans, when the boss came out with the rest of the food she asked what was wrong with the coffee which I explained and showed her my daughter jacket potato which she replied ‘that’s not hair, that’s from the cleaning scourer’ I told her I can’t give that my daughter and before I could ask for something else instead she’s picked up all the food, and said ‘I will give you a refund for everything, can you leave’ I can understand if we was rude about the situation, but we wasn’t. Even tho the panini barely had any cheese and onion on, we was hungry and was happy to eat it but didn’t have a choice as she took all the food away. My friend didn’t even have chance to look at hers and her daughters food before she rudely took the food and asked us to leave! When she came out with the money, I asked her why she’s took all the food and what she was implying… her response was ‘I’ve had customers all morning and no complaints, here’s your refund and just leave’ i took a picture of the coffee, I told her she was very rude, and I will be leaving a review to warn others and left! I won’t be going back there and advise others to avoid! I just don’t understand why she was so rude over her own mistake, she could of easily replaced the food but instead gave us a refund we didn’t ask for.. in hindsight It was probably best we was given a refund instead of becoming sick off the food!

A very nice cafe, the mega breakfast was nicely cooked, on a hot plate as well.

Mega breakfast was lovely. Piping hot and good value for money. Staff were friendly and efficient. Compliments to the chef. I will definitely return.

Had a lovely mega breakfast, very reasonable price. Exactly what you would expect for a good cafe. Looked at the whole menu and nothing on it for over £6! Good selection of sausage / bacon etc. cobs at affordable price. will be back to try some soon!

Had a bite to eat. The toasties lacked a bit of colour and the latte lacked flavour. It's a shame as I do like coming.

Absolutely fabulous cooked breakfast!

Overcharged and poor service. Standard cafe with standard fare. Would perhaps have rated higher but for realising later we'd been overcharged for an extra breakfast as well as the extra cappuccino that wasn't brought to the table. Disappointing.

Very friendly service and food at sensible prices. Our recent BIRTHDAY CAKE was well received at home by our friends and relatives. Coffee and Walnut a favourite. Also a Mothers day treat and celebration.

A very small cafe on the market place in Arnold. We went for breakfast and had the Mega breakfast. We were amazed by the amount of choice and the amount food we received. It was hot, well cooked and great value for money.

Always come to this little cafe. Very friendly and nothing too much trouble. Food Very plentiful and always nice.

Friendly welcome. Vast menu. Very reasonably priced. Good quick service. Cash only, but you are advised of this before ordering. Obviously a hit for locals too. Highly recommend.

5 stars just for the cute girl with the piercings. Her panini made me see god and her dance moves are bussin’. Filled up my belly and taught me how to dougie at the same time. Moonwalk like no other, honestly deserves a raise before she’s snapped up by diversity. Slay.

Excellent staff, nothing is too much trouble, food cooked to order and exactly as I asked. Gets busy at times but it's well worth a wait, highly recommended

Sad all the food on a breakfast is deep fried. If you took time to slice your mushrooms, not add hash brown to bulk the breakfast and try make it look bigger, stop using Tin tomatoes coz there is only juice and proper brand beans then you would be good. Try adding black pudding.

I agree with the previous poster that this is by far the worst breakfast I have ever had. We stayed in Arnold overnight and my girlfriend and I were looking forwards to a small breakfast and mega breakfast. Everything except the eggs were stone cold, despite being cooked, which tells me that they don't cook to order but pre-cook the night before. If you can't cook a breakfast to order at a cafe, you shouldn't be in business... Re:Fresh, it wasn't even Re:Heated correctly. Cheap and cheerful at Weatherspoons next time!

By far the worst cafe i been to...food was not up to standard. Sausage was like mashed potato just mush, bacon was covered in grease. Asked for no tomato and they had clearly forgot and scraped it off last minute. Then was told its down to the supplier that tomato was mixed in with the beans. Total waste of money and time. Will not be returning

Fantastic cafe the best in Arnold by far great quality food cooked all from fresh not warm up like a lot of the other cafes do in Arnold Great mega breakfast all cooked fresh and great price and the staff and owner r so friendly to don't go anywhere else the best 5 stars

Popped in for breakfast and we both had mega breakfast for only £4.50 each. Excellent value for money, not greasy and hot. Very friendly lady running it on her own. Eat in or out or two takeaway. Highly recommend

Needed cupcakes for an event and submitted a last minute request to reFresh Cafe. They didnt disappoint. The cupcakes were tasty, looked amazing and everyone loved them! Thank you so much

They can’t treat their staff properly, they give them shifts, let them come in just to tell them they’re not on shift, they mess their staff around and I’m really not impressed with this

Came to Arnold for a business trip and tried this cafe for breakfast. Have to say, the food was amazing and the staff were so courteous and welcoming. I was amazed at how clean the establishment was and looking at the other customers, I can see why they were all happy. Keep up the good work team - "I'll be back"

Really good prices. I had a large coffee, cold drink, cooked breakfast and pancake with ice cream, it came up to £8. They dont even do pancakes but I asked and the lady was more than happy to make some for my daughter. I think its the little things that makes this place so great, my daughters pancakes had syrup and whipped cream, presentation was great too! Theyre really polite and honestly think we need to support local businesses like this rather than wetherspoons and other chains! They also do really good salads someone beside me had one and it looked really fresh and nice. Will deffo be coming again!!

We visited a few months ago and really enjoyed it but I forgot to do the review. So this review is for our revisit yesterday for lunch. Friendly, traditional cafe in the heart of busy Arnold. Obviously popular with locals and there is a brisk trade. Hot drinks arrived quickly and were very good. I liked it that the tea bag hadn't already been added to the cup - a small detail but I like it. Had a delicious chip cob with 'proper' chips on a lovely large cob. Really hit the mark and also arrived quickly. At £2.50 this is definitely a bargain. And because we sat near the chiller we were tempted by the cakes - and they were excellent and at £1.50 for a generous 'hunk' it definitely gets thumbs up from us! Would have rated as excellent but the decor is a tad tired. Plus, as it is a small cafe, the loo is accessed from behind the counter, through a corner part of the kitchen which isn't ideal. Overall I do recommend this cafe - take a good appetite with you though!

I called in as I fancied a bacon roll and the place I usually visit was full. Ordered 1 x bacon roll, 1 x cappuccino and 1 tea . The bacon roll was barely warm and the bacon looked as if it had seen better days! The cappuccino was absolutely disgusting! No taste whatsoever!! My husband didnt say anything about his tea, although it looked ok. Safe to say wont visit again!!!

Just been to Refresh for a bacon roll to take away, got home and saw the bacon inside the roll and was disgusted by the portions! Two small pieces of bacon on a large bap, won’t be visiting again and nor will I recommend

Absolutely lovely hot food. I had ham,cheese and onion toastie. Nicely browned off toastie... with a hot chocolate that was yummy. The chappy in there is really lovely and the lady that did food was also lovely.. Nice menu range for all ages...

My son took me for breakfast here as he had enjoyed it so much the first time around. We had a couple of mega breakfasts. Great value for money. Staff are friendly. We will definitely be going back again.

Great friendly place, perfect poached eggs every time, prices reasonable and friendly staff. Outdoor seating but not under cover, so being a brolly if you want to sit outside in the rain!

I was recommended to go to this cafe & great recommendation it was, I ordered The Mega Big Breakfast. It consisted off the usual suspects Sausage, Bacon, Egg x2 Beans, Mushroom, Hash Brown, Tomato & 2 rounds of Toast. ( I swapped the Tomato for an extra Egg, nothing was to much from the 2 ladies, who served & made the food ) The breakfast was right up with the best I’ve eaten & washed down with a cup of tea, plus the price its very reasonable at £4-25 for just the breakfast & the drink is etc. The only thing I would suggest is the drink was incorporated into the cost. ( May be the 1st one free ! ) The Cafe also has a vast array of foods you can choose hot or cold, plus cakes. Big 👍🏻

We made an unplanned visit to Arnold, stumbling across this wonderful cafe for a much needed cuppa! Welcomed on entry by the staff, the cafe is bright, clean and with a wonderful friendly atmosphere. Chalk boards details the food and drinks on offer - we'd defy anyone to not find something they'd like on the menu. As we arrived just before lunch time, we opted for breakfast rolls - great portions, plenty of filling, no matter what your choice, along with large cups of tea. Piping hot and delicious! Great to find such a gem with lovely food at very reasonable prices. Before heading to the well-known cafes and coffee shops in Arnold, give this place a try - you won't be disappointed...we will definitely be making a beeline for the place on our next trip to Arnold.

A place to call in for a chat and a chat refreshing coffee and breather, whilst out shopping. Or a leisurely stroll around the market and shops. With available facilities and parking facilities available.

First of all, the service was great. However, the food is a little bit greasy, could use less oil. There are also not many sitting place available. But the food was adequate.

Had a lovely lunch here. The quality of the food is really good and it is good value for money. What really sets this cafe apart from others in Arnold is the service - which is excellent! I will definitely be returning to try out one of the breakfasts which looked amazing.

A small, independent café offering a wide selection of eats at excellent prices. The warm welcome and real customer care is outstanding (my latte had been slightly spilled in the saucer - this was noted and the saucer replaced!). The breakfasts we had tasted freshly cooked and not swimming in oil/grease. The place exudes such a happy atmosphere and feel-good factor without anything feeling forced - the question "is your breakfast OK?" was asked genuinely and I feel if anything had been awry it would have been corrected (nothing to moan about though!). Two breakfasts, a (large) latte and a cup of tea came in at under £10 - beat that, Costa/Starbucks!

This is a little café in the heart of Arnold, run by owner Neilia, along with Tito and Rosy. The food is great, and all prepared in their small but versatile kitchen. What makes this such a fab place is that they always welcome you with a smile whether its your 1st or 101st visit. The food is good and wholesome and their Mega breakfasts are loved by all, for those with a slightly smaller appetite there is a smaller version. Whatever your requirement these 3 will cook your food order entirely to your liking and no request is ever refused (where it can be achieved) This café is the best in Arnold and no where will you be made to feel more welcome, that combined with the fab food and service you will not find better, I love it and it should be tried by everyone.

Have now been to this lovely restaurant twice now and both times it has been a wonderful experience. It is run by a lovely, friendly couple and a helper. The menu is full of good British food, it is very reasonably priced and does not try to be anything yummy, excellent and served by some of the most polite and friendly people I have met. Keep up the good work and I will be back soon. Thank you.
