Nuala who is there at breakfast times is absolutely lovely! All of the staff i met at the bowman were lovely and really seemed happy to be there! The hotel is nice and the rooms are clean. Would recommend!

i came here after work with a few colleges, we came to try the new menu and i would like to say it was amazing. we will 100% be coming again! this place blows my mind everytime i come. you can not go wrong with the food. We was served by Chris and Natasha brought out our food.

Very obliging staff. My room was spotless, and I had a good breakfast. Overall excellent value.

I come in regularly with my brother who as additional needs, I try find a quiet area because he coughs allot and I feel like it might put people off, we are only in for a short time order eat and go. Today we sat and the area became a little busy. I explained to leann we had moved tables after ordering. She come over cleaned the table and went out her way not only to speak to me but also my brother, being disabled he doesn’t get many people speaking directly to him so this was so nice and relaxed him so much. I take David many places but he prefers the Bowman. Food is alwdy very good and cut up for him as requested.

Come in regular with my brother who has addiction needs, I try set in an area that not very busy, today in ordered and the area got busy bet quick. My brother coughs allot especially when anxious. So I moved to a different area, leanna came straight over cleaned the table and spoke directly to my brother, being disabled this doesn’t happen very often but it calmed him straight down and relaxed him. So he could enjoy our perfectly cooked food and David’s was chopped up as requested.

Always come here for affordable but super tasty food! The staff have never been anything less than welcoming and service has always been super quick! The drinks are defo my favourite part, personal recommendation would be the Pina Colada! I was served by Katt today - she was super friendly and fun to talk too!

My family called into the Bowman for Sunday lunch. From asking about a table the service was exceptional. The waitress made us feel very comfortable, explained all the menu and answered our questions with great confidence. She was extremely helpful and polite from start to finish. The Bowman situated in Bulwell, Nottingham, is a very welcoming restaurant/Bar! With a very spacious, cosy interior, you can relax & enjoy the surroundings. The menu has a good variety & prices to suit everyone. Staff are very friendly & helpful. Their are several washrooms throughout the building, catering for everyone's needs. On a Sunday, it would be advisable to book as it does get very busy! Their is ample free carparking available. Opening times are as follows; Sunday to Saturday/8am-11pm. Would recommend a visit!

Local to the Bowman and have used it for a variety of occasions over the years . Staff are always friendly and helpful and most people in there are well behaved etc . Looking forward to our next family meal on the 22/2 ..

The start was lovely the lady helped us find a table for the 3 of us had to wait for it to be cleaned but that was okay it was busy after all. Ordered food which came out promptly was a good meal. Then we decided to have pudding i kid u not we waited an hour for it the table of 9 near us got theirs before we did ( they order 15 mins ish after we did) mentioned it to the young lady working the floor ( not the one from the start) she wasn't much help and said the bloke was probably going to get it now but nothing she never came back to see if it had been sorted. I went up to the bar and the lady checked the kitchen and said they are doing it now she did apologise, the puddings were only like 5 mins after that but don't think it's good enough to wait an hour for 3 puddings, this place used to be a lovely for food but won't be rushing back

I thought Anthony was the hostess with the mostess, he represented the company with the mostess profession with his amazing smile and friendly qualities. Get him at the Hilton! P.s Can the light be changed and the rave music

Had a beautiful breakfast, all the staff were lovely. Very friendly especially Nicola who served us.

My wife ordered 2 meals for £12.49 plus 2 drinks. Only one meal turned up. The server, when questioned, was very rude and aggressive and would not honour the offer price for 2 meals. We will never go back there again.

Updated review: Having visited weekly for years I will not be returning. A member of staff made a mistake taking an order and instead of offering to rectify it when the mistake became clear, adding a meal to the ticket to ensure an offer could be claimed the staff member chose to shout at me in front of a full room of people that he had not made a mistake (several family members heard the order be placed correctly). As such, I have not eaten with my family and I am livid at my treatment. Beyond disappointed at the treatment received certainly not something to want to relive. I have never been treated like that at any restaurant. Couldn't be a review more polar opposite to that below. I visit regularly and the staff are always polite. The restaurant is clean and on the odd occasion we have experienced problems with anything they have rectified them immediately. Great varied menu. Always look forward to going back.

Just moved to the area and was recommended to us. We were not disappointed. Food came with little wait and everyone was pleased with their meal. Natalie even went the extra mile and bought a jug of gravy over so we all had enough. Checked we were happy with everything and was very friendly. We will definitely be visiting again soon .

My friend and I went for breakfast was really good value for the money choice of cereals muffins yoghurt croissant Danish pastries fruit plenty of different teas, coffee was hot then cooked breakfast 2bacon sausage egg beans tomato hash brown was bread or toast to have with this lots of jam and spreads to have with toast 😋 staff was lovely very helpful will be going again

Just popped in for a drink on our way home. Guinness was good as was Golden Hen. Food smelled good but on this occasion we weren't eating. Frankie and Lauren were particularly friendly and made us feel very welcome.
