Quite the poorest value fish and chips I have tasted in a long time. The extortionate price of £10 was not reflected in the quality of the regular-sized meal I ordered, nor in the surliness of the individual who served me. The piece of fish was not freshly cooked. The batter was thin and the contents were dry and unpalatable. I had to throw the meal away. I feel that a score of 2 is over-generous as there were few-if any-redeeming features.

Stopped as kids fancied fish and chips, we've not been here before. Place looks clean and modern. Chips were lovely but the battered cod was awful dry, i had to cover it in ketcup but even that couldn't make it better, threw half of it away which was a shame.

Very good chippy! We used Reeves tonight for the first time in a long time and were really impressed! Generous portion sizes and gorgeous chips!

Local chippy for the area recommended by our family so we all 7 had a fish & chip meal. It was hot & tasty & plentiful. Would buy there again for sure. Average prices for the area.

The starters were amazing, if you like garlic, defo get the garlic prawn, very garlicky! My partner got the steak and he enjoyed it, the peppercorn sauce was slightly salty we think. I ordered the confit duck leg and sadly some part of the meat was quite dry which I couldn’t chew it, a bit disappointed on it, cuz I was looking forward to it. We shared the cheesecake at the end, not bad, better to share, cuz I don’t think I could finish it myself cuz it’s a bit heavy, tastes good tho. Extra point is I like the atmosphere there, very cozy and lovely pub. I’d go back again for drinks only maybe

Lovely pub in a very attractive village (look out for the thatched cob walls). Warm welcome in the pub, good selection of ales and well prepared food. The menu may look a bit limited (burgers and salads) at first glance, but hides a wide range which suited all tastes in our group.

I called them at 17:05 to place an order for myself for delivery. I tried to explain the delivery address as some people have a job to find it for some reason (especially in the dark) but she didn't want to know and cut me off! I then called them at 18:12 to check where my order was and she told me it had left....I live 8 minutes away but due to having a drink I had to get it delivered! It arrived at 18:30 and it was slightly warm! (The only thing that was still hot was the curry sauce!) My prawns were soggy and to be honest I couldn't be bothered to phone up and send it back I say clearly made it clear they weren't interested when I phoned it 18:12! I generally have no issues with the food and especially when I collect it myself as It's nice and hot. I'm just annoyed as this is not the only occasion it's happened but slightly warm food isn't great and when you're spending over £25 you clearly want hot food! I walked down my drive and waited for the delivery driver. When she turned up she had a passenger that was holding my food just in the carrier bag. It wasn't in a insulated bag which it should have been which might have kept it hotter than it was. They seem to be quick enough to take your money, but they deliver your food in a poor way. The lady who delivered it was pleasant enough but my food wasn't delivered in the proper manner and it spoiled my meal.
