We booked a brunch as part of my wife's 60th birthday We arrived a bit early to find the place all locked and no sign of life We tried to phone but no replys Every one has thier products but we were left high and dry is just not acceptable and shows lack of respect I wont be using them in the future however everything was rescued by the nearby lobster who accomdated us with grest food and excellent service

With the school holidays everywhere in Sheringham was busy in terms of nice cafes for lunch around 12:30. However this place had space, infact pretty much empty upon arrival apart from a family which did seem slightly odd. The server explained what was available from the menu which was slightly confusing as would have been easier to be told what wasn’t available. But do appreciate she was trying. Unfortunately the server had just come in from smoking outside and it was quite an overpowering smell for customers to have to face, that wasn’t particularly pleasant. Anyway we ordered our food, an omelette and then a ham and cheese toastie. Whilst the food was nice enough, it was served rather oddly with a tomatoe cut in half, no side salad or crisps like you might expect with a toastie. It just looked unappealing. Also the omelette was just on its own too with a tomatoe on the side. It would just take minimal effort to make it more appealing and the omelette was not particularly filling on its own. Not quite worth the cost in our opinion. All in all, they have tried with the decor but the menu and appearance of the meals need work. They obviously started out well looking at reviews but maybe standards have slipped in recent times.

The best breakfast I have ever had in my life. I had scrambled egg, avocado and tomatoes with granary bread, SIMPLY DELICIOUS. Very friendly too :-)

Wonderful tasty breakfast and superb service. The food was absolutely spot on and the lady serving was so friendly and helpful. She even gave us complimentary Easter chocolate! Will definitely visit Reeves again!

My son and I had the Full English, and we both agreed that it was one of the best Full English breakfasts we've ever had! We had three dogs with us, inc an Irish Wolf hound, but the owners were very accommodating and we were made to feel very welcome.

Popped in for brunch today after a walk along the prom. Well, what can I say other than I was absolutely blown away by the food and the lovely service. The gentleman who was cooking the food came over to see what we wanted and got cooking straight away. The lady who took our drinks was very welcoming and I really liked her friendly nature. I ordered Welsh rarebit and was expecting a standard cheese toasty with a couple of eggs on, but WOW 😍 when the food was brought over to us I was amazed by how INCREDIBLE it looked, and boy did it last as good as it looked. Was one of the best brunches I've had! My husband had the full English and he was just as impressed. You really, really need to pay a visit, we definitely will be back as we love local. My only regret is we haven't eaten here before. AMAZING!! Apologies for the pic of the half eaten full English but my Husband couldn't wait to tuck in 👌🏼

No menus? !! The menu was badly written on a chalk board and difficult to read and interpret. We did order and it took several minutes to get the order taken such was the confusion over the menu. Whilst we waited the next table had to complain twice as their food order was brought out incorrectly - either no sausage, bacon or hashbrowns. It was brought out in stages so they did not eat together. The breakfast only consisted of 6 items and each breakfast was incomplete. There appeared to be only one person in the kitchen and 2 servers. It was a mess and embarrassing - we had seen enough cancelled our food order and left. Other tables seemed to be waiting far too long for their orders. I definitely would not go back as I couldn't trust them to get anything right.

My first visit here; best meal I've had for a long time! Had a full breakfast for lunch, everything cooked well and not swimming in fat like some breakfasts I've had in the past at other eateries. Very helpful and not too long a wait. Good cup of coffee too. Very well done indeed!

We dropped by for lunch during a leisure visit to Sheringham. The premises were spotlessly clean, well-decorated and comfortable, and the staff made us feel welcome. Our food was cooked to order, and arrived without delay. Our meals were well-presented and delicious. The price was also very reasonable. We will certainly return, and warmly recommend this business.

First time visiting Reeves. I had an all day breakfast and my daughter had a sausage and bacon sandwich. Best breakfast I have ever had. All cooked to perfection. The owners couldn’t do enough for us. Asked us how we wanted our bacon cooked. Owners were fantastic hosts. Will definitely be visiting again.

Visiting friends in the area and decided to pop into this restaurant to have a coffee and get out of the piercing cold. Ended up having their full English breakfast which I must say was the best I have had in a very long time! Excellent quality ingredients put together perfectly! We called in to this wonderful restaurant whilst it was pouring with rain. As we were cold, with an outside temperature close to freezing, we opted for the home-made mushroom soup. This was the most amazing soup I have ever tasted. We also looked at the carvery, a plate was carried past us, wow, that looked so impressive, but no way could we manage that as well. 1. Wasn’t given a choice, brunch was from 9.30-11.30am. We arrived at 11.10 and was told we could have bacon or sausage sandwich, scone or tea cake. We had a cheese scone and bacon sandwich 2. Waitress forgot to put the order through for bacon sandwich so friend ate her cheese scone. After 20 mins after the waitress had been outside for a cigarette realised I didn’t have bacon sandwich. Order then went through. 3. We appreciate its dog friendly but surely not having dogs sit on the chairs licking the table and salt and pepper pots is acceptable - hygiene appalling. 4. Waitress who had the cigarette gave a dog treat to one of the dogs didn’t see her wash her hands. 5. Table we were on was reserved for 12.30, couple came in and we were asked by the waitress if we were leaving. I replied when I’ve got my coat on I will. We were made to feel we were in the minority and uncomfortable as we had to wait for our food and then was rushed to leave. Very strange atmosphere - dog owner next to us whose dog tried to jump up at me eating my bacon sandwich made a comment they can leave we’re staying.

What a gorgeous find! We are so glad we found this place. We had seven of us and two small dogs and the staff were so accommodating, moving tables so we could all be together. So friendly and welcoming. The food is amazing!! Such a great choice, portions and so delicious! We all said we would definitely go back. I visited in May with my grandson. The service was great, we were looked after very well indeed. My grandson wanted an all day breakfast but unfortunately there wasn't one on the menu for a child. What a terrific find! We visited on probably one of Sheringham’s busiest Saturdays of the year (the annual 1940s Weekend). We had totally forgotten to book a table anywhere for dinner, and strolled into Reeves just as they were clearing up after a very long and tiring day. We honestly expected to be greeted by the usual “have you booked?” Instead, we had the warmest welcome by the co-owner, who explained and apologised (no apology needed!), that they only had a very limited hot food selection on offer as they were finishing for the day. Fish pie was still available, but no hot red meat options for my carnivore hubby! To our astonishment the lovely owner offered to cook him sausage, mash and veg with homemade gravy as a one off! We actually felt rather guilty that we hadn’t planned our day and humbled that, after what must have been an exhausting day for the restaurant staff and owner, he still went out of his way to be so accommodating and gave us such a warm welcome when he could so easily, have just turned us away at such a late hour. He honestly could not have been more hospitable. After a short wait, our food arrived piping hot and delicious with a dish of perfectly steamed seasonal vegetables. The fish pie was one of the best I’ve tasted in a while, absolutely brimming with a great selection of fish and seafood. The restaurant has a wonderful relaxed vibe, great decor/lighting etc, excellent background music with great food and attention to detail. The usual menu is extensive and all made on the premises. They deserve to do well and we will definitely become regulars as we visit the town several times a year. I wish you well, Reeves! You have something pretty unique.

Party for 4, asked for 4 iced lattes. Got 3 iced lattes and a hot latte with caramel syrup not vanilla, which is an allergy of mine. We then asked for 2 sausage and bacon rolls on white bread, got one on granary and 25 minutes after we ordered, someone came out and said there was not any bread left and would a bagel be okay, at this point 3 people were eating and they hadn’t even made the 4th meal. Someone came out with a baguette after we had said yes to the bagel, and said “in fairness we stopped serving breakfast 3 minutes ago” even though we had ordered 30 minutes prior to that comment. This is the second time visiting. First time was a table of 8 where I waited over an hour to eat whilst everyone else had been given their food. The food was okay and the latte was nice when it was right. Such a shame as I really try to support local and family run businesses. Hope they find their feet.

I would revisit Reeves but I think they just need to iron out a few. Pre booked table for 12 Sunday carvery . We where first to arrive ,(5 mins early ) could see 3 staff members no acknowledgment for first 3 mins (appreciate may be busy but a nod and a hello would have been good ) but stayed positive , eventually after being greeted and not fully understood we explained about the reservation and couldn’t see a table in our name we explained we’d just take a seat in an unreserved table , very pleasant lady came out and apologised. Then lady came took our order says she will be notified when it’s ok for us to go up and get the carvery , we waited and waited …. turned around and the queue was 10 deep with walk ins that arrived after us … was with my elderly father so waited . The carvery stand is tucked away in a thoroughfare so felt awkward as was literally over looking tables whilst they where eating .. Queued for a while to be greeted by a young lad cutting the meet with a blunt knife …. And whom also asked the lady behind “have you paid for an OAP plate !” She laughed it off - as she hadn’t . Going back to the OAP plate - I enquired about this for my elderly Dad and the lady asked who was the OAP ! I’m still in my 40”s ! I was aware they don’t have an alcohol licence - Dad wasn’t - he asked for a glass of wine … same waitress repeatedly told Dad she’ll go and get wine for a tip / Dad had made it clear that he was fine he’ll have a soft drink …. I think what the “team” would benefit from is a “team meeting “ just before service as it was a little faulty towers ! But I like to give positive feedback and negative so that all involved are aware . The food was ok … but felt like we’d run a marathon to get there ! Then we asked for the bill . We was asked where do you want to pay at the table or at the till … if we had of paid at the till we would have been loitering again over peoples tables …. We opted for table …. Bill arrived and again was asked do we want to pay at table or till !! Another trip off to get the POS machine …… we will be back ….. just hope they take this as a positive …. As it’s a credit to Sheringham and I’m all for supporting local business but the service needs to be right ….. and it so wasn’t here .

I visited Sherringham with my partner and discovered Reeves on our way to the Promenade. The breakfasts were nicely presented and fresh cooked. Excellent value for money and the service was superb during our visit. Cappuccinos were delicious as well! Atmosphere is very social with rock/pop music played quietly in the background. Went here for lunch, there was only 2 other tables both already eating but we had to wait ages to get someone's attention to even be able to ask for a menu. The portions are big and the bread the sandwiches are made from is nice and that's about all I can say positively about the food. There was no cesar in the chicken cesar sandwich just mayo, and I have no idea what they did to the roast potatoes but they were disgusting.
