REEL English Chippy in Salford

Went other night found half a toe nail stuffed inside a chip and floating in the curry! 07706632169.

Came here and decided to try the homemade chilli with rice and chips. Got home and found a hair in the chilli!! Not happy at all as it put my partner off eating his food too. Total waste if money. Will not be eating from here again

As far as chippys go, this one is ok I have had fish and chips and they were not bad,meat pie chips and gravy ok and you get decent size portions at a fair price and the staff are up for a bit of banter.

After reading the reviews I thought this was going to be a great chippy to try. Food was hot and reasonably priced but the fish and chips did nothing for me. Bland fish, batter was soggy inside as if it wasn't cooked long enough and chips seemed like yesterday's. Shame as I was excited to try it. Wouldn't go again. Although i have to say it was spotlessly clean inside so can't fault that but I'll stick to Armstrong's in future.

Went last night for the first time and was really happy with the experice from very clean shop the friendly staff then food was spot on. WE WILL BE BACK !!!

Went to the Reel English Chippy last night after work, after hearing from friends how generous the portions are and how amazing the food is. Well... my friends were not wrong, the ladies behind the counter were very friendly and the fish was massive and the chips were fantastic, not greasy or soggy, like some fish and chips I have been to. Overall, the food was excellent and was very happy with the price, especially the size of the portions. Thanks guys, will be coming back and recommending the Reel English Chippy to all my friends and family...

Get anything but chips!its a shame as the two ladies that run it are really nice but they can't cook chips,every time I have been they must have been yesterday's chips,you'd think I'd of learned by now!
