This is now going to be our regular Chinese. Best Chinese according to my partner who is very hard to please! Big portion sizes, great quality, hand made sesame toast, free prawn crackers! Thank you, you’ll see us again :)

Atrocious delivery service. Genuinely the worst. Classic western Chinese but not worth it. Avoid avoid avoid.

Order from here a lot, usually pretty good. Have waited 2.5 hrs for my order and it still hasn’t come. Absolutely no communication, not picking up phone. Very disappointed

A brilliant Chinese with many options, much better than the ones in my hometown.

Food was well below the usual high standards, cold chips, crispy shredded chicken instead of beef, late and i needed to re-heat majority of the order. Such a shame as RHG is normally my go-to take-away.

Food arrives in sealed containers so no mess. I buy same order regularly as vegetarian all tastes great, freezes an reheats well for another time. Last 3 orders curry has been rather thin compared to previous experience still tasty just little loose.

The driver wants me to meet him at the main entrance. The driver was informed to use the door intercom. But the driver walked away 2 times before he used the door intercom

Order was wrong and the food was inedible. Avoid at all costs. Over cooked, rubbery. Definitely heated up in a microwave. £40 down and didn’t eat much of the food at all. Worst Chinese I’ve ever had

Great food, tasty and hot with brilliant portion sizes. Particularly loved the satay chicken skewers - perfect flavour and tender chicken, they’re the best I’ve had in Bristol so far. The only thing that could be improved would be crispier chips. But the rest, including spring rolls and chicken and sweetcorn soup, was excellent. Delivery was quick and the guy who delivered was lovely. Will definitely return!

Recently ordered battered jumbo sausage and chips with curry sauce and egg fried rice but the food weren't cooked properly, chewy potato centre when it should be crispy outside soft centre chips, battered sausage tasted like it was cooked from frozen not fresh, the curry was way too watery and the egg fried rice tasted over fried you know that burnt rice taste!! Won't be ordering food from this again. They should make their takeaway title Red Hot Can't Cook, dunno why there's takeaways that have staff which don't know how to cook, it's very regretful, i hate wasting money in places like this... Totally disgusting food!

I’ve left a 5 star review previously as loved this takeaway, the quality of meat now though is awful. Had 4 chicken dishes and all inedible, mechanically processed frozen gristly meat.

They were so friendly and helpful, they forgot our chicken balls and we’re very nice on the phone and offered us free ones in our next order but instead sent them in a separate delivery to us with fortune cookies and poppadoms. We’ve been going to them for a long time and food was great as always! Thank you guys!!

Soup nice. Chicken black bean horrendous. Fried rice, tasteless. The bin is fuller than I am.

Atrocious. Delivered two hours after the order was made and an hour late. Then they shouted and me and hung because they were busy. It was like entering an alternative universe where you’re supposed to apologise for making an order and inconveniencing them. Never again. Sheesh, first world problems….

Ordered at 19:50 and wasn't delivered till 21:35. App said it was delivered at 21:00 but didn't turn up for another 35 minutes

Ordered pork chow mein, shredded beef, satay sauce, salt and pepper chips and prawn crackers. All really tasty, especially the satay which had a really strong PB taste and a nice kick! They also have free mini spring rolls and the triangle things plus prawn crackers so was really nice surprise. Have faved on Uber eats and probably going to make my go to Chinese now 😊

Loveliest Chinese I’ve ate in a while

Stated 50-60 mins delivery time before ordering at 18:58, food delivered at 20:50, rang to chase but came across as didn’t care. Paid £3.60 for prawn crackers although they would have been free so ended up with two bags. Would not buy from them again

My first time ordering from here, even though the food turned up late, it was still hot and really nice, big portions and very tasty. Would definitely order from here again and recommend to others.

If I could give 0 stars I would. My chips were undercooked. The batter on the chicken balls was raw. Satay chicken was more like sweet and sour chicken. Chow mein was stupidly dry and the curry sauce was like water. Absolutely disgusting. The person on the phone was very rude when I rang the restaurant

Red hot goodies is my go to Chinese .I have tried others on occasions but have regularly come back to this establishment. The prices are reasonable ....but above all the food is really tasty and flavoursome. Also usually very reliable. (Free stuff on most orders)

Food hot and tasty. Last couple of orders curry sauce been bit loose compared to previous orders when it was thicker consistency which I do prefer.

Incorrect item delivered on one part (salt and chilli chips instead of salt and chilli chicken dish) so although that was not good and ruined that persons night (they went hungry) it was still good food so on a food front can’t fault. Please do better Red Hot Goodies on your quality checks to make sure items are delivered as ordered. Looking forward to our next order, fingers crossed we get whole order and what we ordered

usually love this place but tonight wasn't the same, rice was stodgy and had a perfume taste to it. Wouldn't put me off, just wanted to highlight it to the restaurant.

First time using this takeaway, phoned an order for four people through, food was ready quickly and waiting when I arrived, very pleased with price, quality and service. Good food, decent portions, one of our group described it as some of the best takeaway chinese food they’d had.

vile! made the mistake of giving a second chance,wings were rock hard,beef caked in msg inedible & a freezing cold cheeseburger!? inept just eat could'nt care less deffo getting reported!

My order was due between 1:20 - 1:40 and delivered at 2:05pm. I called sunshine cafe to ask where my order was at 1:45 pm to be told my delivery would be 5 minutes. No apology from the driver for being late. Food was OK but definitely not worth £16, hardly any meat and everything was covered in mint sauce. Won't be ordering from then again

I’ve used this Chinese for over 10 years I haven’t ordered from there in months so last night I thought it’s always nice il order so I ordered chicken chow mien and egg fried rice and honestly I don’t know if the cooks have changed but both were very bland and very dry the chow mein had no type of sauce or even flavour very disappointed to say the least and will not be using them again
