Redemption in Camden

Second time of visiting - came before - service was dreadful - gave it a second chance - will never return. Coffee and pastries pretty good so if you don’t mind paying £8 for 1 coffee and 1 pastry and collecting it yourself from the counter (even when you are on your own and have to either abandon your belongings to collect your coffee whilst 2 staff are standing watching you and not serving - or carry all your belongings up to the counter and risk losing your seat) then go ahead and enjoy!

Wonderful food. We had the burger and the rainbow bowl. Both were lovely, as were the brownie puddings. Can’t wait to come back to try more of the menu!

This little place is in Neals Yard a little courtyard hidden away from the hurly burly - food was delicious we both had the bowls but had sneaky samosas and chips all vegan and very tasty! Highly recommend

Ate here and had the Jackfruit and also the Tofu curry. Both were excellent, and we shared both dishes. Thank you for creating these fishes! as we can’t eat gluten, they replaced the flatbread with GF bread. The portions were excellent and more than a hearty meal for the two of us to share. The deserts weren’t our taste, previously there were beautiful GF chocolate / lime tarts which were excellent. It may be the seasonal change. The sticky toffee pudding was ok, however we wouldn’t normally choose this, the meringue was sweet, with sweet jam and nothing sharp to cut through the sweetness. We just prefer something a little sharper and I appreciate that’s our taste. We will absolutely return and please can we ask for something less sweet for desert. Service - excellent G&T was wonderful too. Main courses - oh my, they were delicious!

Food was ok, but not brilliant. Definitely cook better at home. It was fresh but with little defined flavour. Wonderful customer service and very efficient and friendly staff. Look elsewhere for vegan food.

The food was nice (love the loaded fries and sticky toffee pudding!) but wow the portions are tiny for the price and I wouldn't consider is big eaters.

This is a vegan paradise tucked away in sweet serene Neal’s Yard. Must-haves: cassava fries, vegan chilli, and sweetcorn patties. You’ll thank me later.

Two problems. A bad chef and understaffed on the floor. Starters and mains came together and were only warm. Didn’t get what we ordered, and even though they knew it was all wrong, there was a certain resignation. They offered free hot drinks after, but even one of those I had to send back. I’m prepared to believe that on another day it might be better, but not today ! Today was awful.

After taking a rest from alcohol, I had been enjoying my newfound energy, ability to wake up in the morning and fatter wallet. So before seeing a show we decided to go to Redemption to check out how the zero percent cocktails and beers were done. In fact, I had never even seen a gluten free 0% beer so wanted to try it out. The menu is mostly gluten free with the exception of some of the beer and a few dishes described below. The place has a coffee/cafe in front and then a bar and seating in the back. It was moderately busy when we arrived at 6pm, and was distinctly more busy when we left, on a Wednesday, at 7pm. We started with the Flu fighters martini, which was tangy and spicy. I had a Free Star beer; which said on the menu it was gluten free, but not on the can. We had to Google it and see on the manufacturer's site that it was in fact Gluten free. We shared the Kale Caesar and Mezze platter...Happy that it was all gluten free. I have removed a star because for two of the items on the menu I was most looking forward to trying - the BBQ jackfruit and the burger - did not have the option for a gluten free bun. To me that is just lazy, but perhaps they have some other reason. It takes a bit of getting used to eating vegan food; but the flavor profiles can be rich, earthy and satisfying. I am not vegan, but I do enjoy all types of food. I really expected to be hitting up some fast food after the show, but was surprisingly still full from what we ate. Sadly, there are not too many choices of alcohol free places to eat and drink, but I think Redemption does well carrying the standard for now.

Who knew you could find a vegan Sunday Roast? Well now I know. It was amazing. Great ambience and great food. Service was excellent as well. Definitely worth going while in Covent Garden.

We were two vegetarians and an omnivore enjoying the most delicious meals in this busy, bright and friendly cafe. Great menu, great ambience.

Stopped off here for cake/dessert. The restaurant was quiet so we were invited into that part to sit down. I am celiac and the fact the whole place is gluten free (and vegan) is brilliant. Both pies were amazing. You could tell the banoffee pie was dairy free however it was lovely and thick and sticky. It is slightly strange to not be able to have normal cream with desserts or in a drink but it was unimportant to ensure the place is fully vegan. Didn’t eat any savoury dishes but it looked and smelt delicious.

Avevo prenotato qualche giorno primasul loro sit per un pranzo, siamo subito stati accolti gentilmente e fatti accomodare. Il locale è piccolo ma molto carino, l'arredamento è curato e il bagni veramente graziosi con carta da parati stile jungle. Abbiamo ordinato due smoothies (ottimi) un TLT per me (un panino con Tempeh) e una pasta al riso con funghi per mio marito. Apprezzati entrambi i piatti, la pasta era cotta bene e il panino era ottimo. Non dò 4 stelle solo per i prezzi leggermente più alti di quelli che uno si aspetta. Ci torneremo!

Sehr ansprechende glutenfreie Speisen, sehr leckere Kuchen. Nur der Latte, der geht so gar nicht ohne „echte“ Milch, sorry!

Decoration is cheap Instagram style and food is tasteless, £24 for a watery virgin pina colada and 16 tiny tiny makis, not worth it.

This Redemption branch was very cute and cozy. The staff were really friendly. The food was great but nothing that left too much of an impression. Cocktails were hit and miss.
