Great restaurant. Food was awesome. Lovely staff. Service was just superb. Always been my favorite. Varieties of food to choose. Also very pleasant environment to dine in with friends and family. This restaurant is just amazing.

We had a birthday party at the restaurant. It was nice environment. staffs were friendly and food was served pretty quick. other times i use Uber Eats delivery service and has always delivered on time.

I ordered online to pick up wish I never the service was rude, the food was tasteless and very greasy. Won't be eating there again.

great quality food, though under new management they have kept the quality up. my Chinese wife thought the food ok which for her in an English Chinese is high praise. having lived in China i can concur, far better than much of the Chinglish food served in takeaways. we dined inside so the note about only doing takeaways here is wrong. Service is good and for basic noodle dishes, it is good.

Food is good but a bit pricey for Chinese food could be better prices . We do eat there on a regular basis with family and friends sometimes.

A very casual restaurant, interior does not look great, but I wouldn’t let that put you off going, the food is very nice. We had ribs, chicken wings, bean curd, rice and sushi. One of the best Chineses and sushi places I’ve been to.

More interested in serving Deliveroo / Just Eat customers than those walking in, went in after ordering was told 10 minutes for it to be ready, after 20 minutes was still waiting, when I asked what was happening with my order, the waitress told me she said 20 minutes, which was a blatant lie

Ordered as a take away - first impression, staff are RUDE. I had placed an order online and missed an item I called to see if I could add my missing item and pay over the phone they told me I have to place a second order online - therefore x2 delivery charges and service charges. She then went on to hang up on me when I tried to ask if they can deliver my meal together!! I proceeded to place a 2nd booking and then called back to see if they can deliver my items together to which I’m told that they’re too busy and I have to deal with on line. Zero customer service skills what so ever. Vermicelli was swimming in oil and absolutely bland - completely inedible we threw it away , chicken balls and veggie spring rolls were ok, the second order which was rice was disgusting tasted burnt and oily. Never again, AVOID!

I ordered a take away from here on Monday. I spent eight hours of Tuesday being violently ill. Please avoid.

Ordered a meal this evening and it failed to turn up. I contacted restaurant and they said they’d tried to deliver and couldn’t redeliver, I’d have to speak to Just Eat. That was a waste of time, they said I’d need to contact the restaurant! No one attempted to use the entry phone, both my wife and I were in. I ordered from a competitor restaurant and delivery service and received my order on time and £8 cheaper, their delivery driver used the intercom with no issue. Won’t be using this place or Just Eat again.

We both work so it is not always possible to have a meal ready and waiting., we do shop around though as we have found that some restaurants are a bit hit and miss due to the day of week and how busy they are. I liked my food from here and if it was a little closer to home I'd use it more often.

Really the food quality needs to be up. A massive Work on improving quality food is required. Beverage was of so low quality. I can't stress more that this.

They got our takeaway order all wrong. Left dishes out and we had to wait over 45 mins for our food. By the time we got home the food was cold and very greasy especially the pancake rolls which were floating in oil. we specifically said no veg and food came with veg. We'll never go there again and will not recommend to friends! Tasteless, bland, greasy and small portions especially the dry hard ribs. Big disappointment!

I took the family there, the food was very tasty with a wide choice,alcohol is available also the prices are good, there is a car park next door

Good Chinese restaurant and they also serve great noodles. I often get a takeaway from here and sometimes eat in with friends and family. It's basic, staff are friendly and helpful, would always recommend.

I had a takeaway noodles and veg spring rolls. It was just a 5 minutes drive to get home and the food was so rubbish I had to chuck them and get another take away from somewhere else. I would never have anything again.

Food is always hot and freshly cooked. Restaurant clean and tidy. Great place for a reasonable price meal. Saves cooking anytime.

He sido un cliente habitual en el Red Lion y bajar por unos pocos años. La comida es buena y abundante. Bebidas en general buena y razonable para la familia y los amigos si un rápido sentarse es todas sus después. Para mí, la única pega es que algunos de los empleados no saben cómo sonreír o decir gracias.Que no hay en el camino de la buena comida sin embargo. Vale la pena una visita de 4 estrellas

Fantastic food we will not go anywhere else for our Chinese love this place the best around by far! We even get our take away from here just a shame they don't deliver but it's definitely worth going to collect

I love this place. The food is amazing and this is the best noodle bar I've been to. The only negative is that one of the ladies working there is quite frosty and should smile.

Comida china que está bastante bien, sitio limpio, personal amigable, el único problema es que no admiten tarjetas de débito y/o crédito, si no te percatas a la hora de pagar tienes que salir a buscar un cajero, y en la zona donde está es un poco complicado.

Stopped off here. Really nice food and big amounts for £5. Roast port with rice. Great. Building very nice too.

It's utilitarian. Usual menu. Very Clean. Large portions. Black Bean dishes very salty. On plus side. Soups, fresh juices, ribs and dumplings. A reliable local.

My daughter had recently been here and asked if me and my wife wanted to go. The place is clean and plenty of seating. Hadn't got our bottoms on the seat and the waitress is after taking our order. Asked for a couple of minutes to peruse the menu. Then call the waitress over and boy did we struggle to order four starters and even was even worse trying to order drinks. I was trying to establish if they did pints of soft drinks, first she offered me beers, then she said only had small drinks, then my daughter said she had pints the other day, then she remembered they did do pints. We then order the mains and that also took forever. Four simple meals and she couldn't get that right.Starters came, huge pancake rolls two per portion, deep fried butterfly kings prawns overcooked, sesame prawn toast lots of and very nice and some dumplings which were okay. Average price about £4 a portion which i thought was overpriced.Mains arrived, looked nice but were bland and had no taste. I had the mixed meat curry with steamed rice which lacked curry sauce and had no taste. the wife had sweet and sour chicken with steamed rice which smelt very vinegary my daughter and her son had chicken current with egg fried rice which they said was nice but I think she was basing that on the cost of the dish.Ordering banana fritters for dessert was another trial as the waitress just didn't understand when my daughter was asking if they come with syrup and she wanted a scoop of ice cream with hers. All main dishes are approx £5, you do get plenty on the plate but lacks any taste. All in all our bill was nearly £70 for a few starters, 4 pints of fizzy drink and four main meals and 3 desserts. I think it was very expensive for what we had and I certainly will not be going back again

Very good place to eat, very cheap and large portions, cant fault it, eat here often, the crispy duck is yummy, most doshes are served with choice of rice or noodles, and cheap at approx £4.50 TO £5.50 a plate. Glass of wine cheap, fresh juices, etc etc

So glad that i have got a really good take away and restaurant near to handi just love everything about this place so clean.You dont have to wait long for your mealif you prefer to sit in the restaurantI do like to go there with friends around 3..4 pm if later we have found can be a bit noisywhen families come with small children after school,but that does not put us off as the time we go now is great,would not pick any other place in plumstead

I love eating at red lion. The prices are reasonable and the take away portions are good sizes. If you want some good Chinese food red lion is definitely a good choice.

Cheap good quality food. Poor service, rude waitress who behaves like she is doing you a favour, a bit like travelling on Easyjet, you get what you pay for. Service used to be a lot better under the previous management, where the staff would cheer you up after a bad day !

this is a great place for a cheap bite to eat .. the food is great with really nice large portions. The restaurant itself is quite basic but very clean.. if your looking for good value for money food this is the place

Tasty food with real meat. Great value for money and good service. Have eaten in and had take away and would recommend to anyone. Go and check it out. Generous portions so make sure you visit when hungry.
