We waited 20 minutes for starters had flat drinks waited another 15 for our order to be taken before we got fed up and left, worst Indian experience ever.

food took over 2 hours to get to us, via home delivery. Staff got very abusive and didnt want to know us when we asked for a refund. Apparently theyve been shut down because food standards were so low. Not surprised. Absolute dive, avoid

Al estar sentados nos tuvieron que cambiar una de las sillas porque estaba a punto de colapsar. Las cosas sólo fuimos cuesta abajo desde allí. Nuestras bebidas iniciales orden llegamos después de unos 10 minutos que consta de 2 platos calientes y 2 botellas de Cobra con coca-cola planas, derramado de 2 litro botella. Poppadoms llegó 15 minutos después que, aunque no era el número que pedimos.

Fuimos allí para una comida India con amigos. No gire a que en general. La comida era muy grasosa y el servicio era simplemente terrible. Gerente no estaba interesado en nuestra única e insistió en que es cómo sirven la comida! Me complace que mi plato que estaba llena de grasa y era incomible no fue un error y que es cómo siempre sirven. No volveremos. Obviamente.

En primer lugar, después de leer algunos de los comentarios que me hizo pensar si fueran aplicables al mismo restaurante? Vamos a la Red Chili Sizzler casi todos los lunes. Tenemos la opción de 10,95 libras oferta de comida. Esto incluye 1 un entrante, un plato principal, 1 y un arroz o naan. Tenemos poppadum's, un extra naan y una bebida alcohólica cada uno (Cobra y vino blanco). La factura total es muy razonable, siempre bajo 40 libras. Si desea tener langostinos, o pescado (que es más caro de todos modos) tienes que pagar un suplemento extra. Hemos estado en numerosas ocasiones y no una vez me han decepcionado. La comida es muy buena y llega caliente. Cada plato que hemos probado (unos cuantos) sabe delicioso y hay numerosas opciones en el menú. Cada semana, siempre tenemos más de lo que puedes comer, así que nos tomamos el resto a casa. La comida es empaquetado en cajas de plástico con tapas y si se requiere, para que éste pueda ser empacado una forma determinada, el camarero te trae las urnas a la mesa. Siempre hemos encontrado el personal es educado y amable. En dos ocasiones hemos notado cómo difícil otros clientes, particularmente sobre las cosas extrañas. Por ejemplo, pedir arroz, no comer y luego quejándose de que habían cargado por el artículo! En realidad es bastante extraño ya que tal comportamiento es como entretenimiento añadido! La única sugerencia que haría es convertir la música. A veces es demasiado alto para nuestro gusto. Aparte de eso, no lo recomendaría. Nos hemos llevado amigos allí y disfrutar de la comida.

Went in this restaurant for the 1st time with my wife n children,no childrens menu,our food was,what can I say curry like soup rice very dry,Nan breads didn't seem cooked,never again,drinks very expensive,never go back there,will stay at the best restaurant in buckinghamshire,memories of India in farnham common.

Hemos cogido entrega de nuestra primera comida preparada con chili Sizzler de Red.

Llamado en para el domingo buffet ayer. anuncian hasta las 5:30 y llegamos allí a 3:45. poco más tarde de lo previsto pero nos preguntó si queríamos el buffet y sentado. Buffet estaba agotada y simplemente algo incomible Tikka bhaji y muy seco de pollo de cebolla. El chico que nos sirvió fue no tener ni idea pero se ofreció para conseguir algo de comida fresca. Pronto después incorporado algunos recién cocinado o posiblemente recalentados pollo Tikka y fresco pan Naan. se trasladó a el plato principal. Un tipo Korma 7.50 de pollo, que tenía una piel oscura en la parte de arriba donde nadie Head incluso suscitadas. Es extraño que era la mejor opción. El cordero plato/ de carnero no tenía carne, sólo unos pocos guindillas y salsa verde. Bombay Aloo estaba recocido, muerto y las verduras variadas era simplemente una extraña slurry. Además de las tasas obligaría al camarero fregaron el suelo alrededor de nosotros así que puedo oler era lejía fuerte.

Pedí una comida para llevar ya que me sentía un poco cansado después del primer día de la rutina de la escuela! Me di cuenta que había Red Chili Sizzler tenía una oferta de 10% de descuento para la entrega y 25% de descuento para la recogida, así que decidí aprovechar. Pedí un kebab shami, korai de pollo, patatas de Bombay, chili y queso naan y algunos poppadoms. El servicio fue muy rápido y la comida estaba caliente ( ¡odio, cuando tienes luke cálida curry y un pasada naan!) La comida era excelente, las especias realmente vinieron, y el chili era calentamiento sin romper la cabeza! Lo único negativo para mí fue la falta de cebolla en la ensalada de cebolla, pero eso es probablemente debido a gusto personal! En general, un fabuloso restaurante local que sin duda volveré a en el próximo futuro :)

Each time you eat in a restaurant, you try different items to get a good idea about the food quality and chef’s expertise. to do so u need to read the reviews as well. was confused about the older reviews. Wasn't expecting much...but what i had was a blast....!! They do have some surprises. the food was exceptionally good. Hot from stove. The attendee was courteous. Not over priced...but the food...was really good. I would recommend Highly!!..if im on my way to high wycombe again...definitely coming back...:)

I asked if there were disabled facilities and was assured that there were.My friend is in a wheelchair and there was no way she could get into the toilet and use the facilities.Please be aware that the facilities are basic and definitely not for wheelchair users.

Red Chilli Sizzler has been the buzz in High Wycombe during its first few months of opening... it appears that these reviews and recommendations were all paid for. The food is disgusting, the staff rude and impatient. There is very little atmosphere in the restaurant.This place has gone downhill, fast. When there are so many other Indian establishments in town, it doesn't bode well for this place.

Ordered a takeaway from their website which promised free delivery on orders over £12. Our order was £30 and they tried to charge for delivery. When I pointed out what their own website says and said I'd order elsewhere they did back down. I almost wish they hadn't though as when the food did finally arrive it was very oily and rather bland to taste. Over priced and not very pleasant, we definitely won't be ordering from here again.

Bless them got lost! But my food was still hot, chicken a little dry but I would damn recommend this place to EVERYONE. Well done guys seriously you are genuinely good. LOVE YOU

a bit late but top class food.

I went there tonight with friends, the food was ok nothing to rave about. I asked if they served lime & soda as it wasn't listed on the drinks menu and at a very popular Indian restaurant I'm usually charged 50pence for a larger glass. To say I was shocked that each one line & soda was £2.50 was an understatement , I couldn't drink the 3rd one because it tasted so vile. One of our group is a licensee and queried the price of her wine, it was advertised as 175ml @ £2.95 but she received less than 100ml and was being charged for a 175ml. The wine smelled and tasted like vinegar. Whilst the prices on the advertisements appear reasonable, they aren't. We won't be going back there again

I will never be ordering from this place again. Took and hr and 40 mins for the order to arrive! Delivery driver then drove away after following clear instructions to where I lived.

We went here last saturday (just the two of us) it was a bit quiet...not very busy at allthe bonus of that is we got our food quicker. Presentation of the food and staff friendliness was excellent and they were very helpful in the knowledge of what was Gluten Free!! The food itself came out fresh, hot and tasted superb. I would definately eat here again (shame it was quiet, i did expect it to be busier).

What a shame, I gave this restaurant a second chance after previous take away order a couple of months ago. First order after going to collect had various mistakes and took a very long time to create (we were the only people in the restaurant) luckily the manager (at the time) was apologetic and gave us a free beer. However after second order, I will not be returning. The restaurant's website and take out menus all state a £10.95 per person week night deal, so thought I'd take advance and order online. When arriving to pick up the order, we were told that the meal would cost £38 ( true price should have been around £25 including extra popadoms) I explained that we'd ordered the sizzler deal. The manager said it doesn't count if you order online (through their own website!?) I explained that this isn't stated ANYWHERE on their menu or website so this is falsely advertised. He would not accept this therefore I left the order. Very disappointed and what a waste of food. Will not be back. Went to Kashmir in High Wycombe instead. Excellent food, and even without an order was almost the same (offer) price!!

I called in a week ago food arrived after 2hours late .after few days I went to dine in with few friends drinks was over priced small portion very rude service .was not attentive at all was rather busy on the phone.there was only 2 tables in so it was not busy never again

Ive dined at this restaurant twice in the last two weeks, it is highly recommended!! The service was great, very quick and efficient. We ordered so much much food between the three of us and everyone was impressed, the price of the food is such good value for money. If you want a great curry come to to this restaurant!!!!!

Ordered a take away delivery - cane quite quickly and was hot. I ordered a prawn curry from the specials section of the menu. I was a bit disappointed that they weren't king prawns as for the £9.25 price tag I wasn't expecting the small ones? Although the flavours in the curry were nice, quite different from anything else I've had before. Keema nann was ok too.

The owner informed me that it is only open 7 months and I hope business continues to grow for him. The place is newly refurbished and squeaky clean. Nice decor and water features and good quality music through a quality sound system. Oh, the food is also able to back all this up as well which can be helpful! !!!. Well worth a visit albeit a little outside the centre.

The restaurant is easily reached by car and the staff are very friendly. They offer a nice menu at a very good price and we paid 37 pounds, including a glass of wine and a beer. We enjoyed the food which was fresh and very tasty. The waiter was very friendly and helpful and overall, we left feeling well fed and kindly treated.

Had a family takeaway last night and I must say it is one of the best curries we had in a long time, not even mentioning paying 15 pounds less we normally pay for our Friday Family takeaway! We will definitely return, probably every Friday :)

Interesting menu with a few dishes I hadn't seen before, reasonably priced. I tried it for the first time last weekend and will certainly be back.

I have been going to the red chilli sizzler for a long time now, it really is the best curry around at such a great price. Takeaways always stay hot for a long time after it has been delivered and the customer service is fantastic and very personal. They always do great deals, buffet and main menu are both super. And you even get roses on special occasions, and they always support local charities by hosting events. Looking forward to treating more of the family this weekend!

Went to Red Chilli Sizzler for the first time on Sunday after seeing all the good comments on Facebook. Had the Sunday buffet which was excellent. Will definitely be returning to try the evening Sizzler.

Was recommended by a friend....what a fantastic meal and the staff were lovely....the best Indian meal I think I've ever had!!! My boyfriend and I enjoyed it so much that we're coming back on Friday....a tip for any first timers - starve yourself all day....the food is so good you just have to clear your plate!!!

This is a very good Indian and one of the best I've had in the area for quite a while! The service and ambiance is good and the food is of a very good standard. It's worth a visit and we will definitely be back!

After all the local hype about this restaurant we were really looking forward to our visit. We don't often eat out in restaurants so it was a real treat for us. There's no parking which is a bit strange for a place which used to be a public house. There's street parking on neighbouring roads but space is limited as that's where local residents also have to park. To start off the welcome was rather lacking in warmth and hospitality. This continued throughout the service. In fact the only smile we saw was when we were leaving. Interior décor is a little bare and hard. It needs some plants and other soft furnishings to break it up a bit. Our food was average at best - greasy starters, cold side dishes and even my creamy curry was swimming in oil. Very poor ambience although this was partly because we were the only 2 people in there (so no excuse for cold food!) and hearing the same music on a 15/20 minute loop was driving us insane. Overall it was a let down. We were due to be coming back in a few weeks time with friends but are now making alternative plans and won't be recommending Red Chilli Sizzler to others.

we were a large party and they looked after us very well. The food was excellent, and they went to great lengths to make the birthday girl feel special.

It took a little while for our order to be taken (we were very hungry) but we were quite rowdy and talked a lot so it looked like we weren't ready! When we got our food it was all very beautiful. Everything tasted very fresh and presented lovely. Four happy customers.

The food quality was good however I found the lamb a little over done for my taste, and the quantity was a little low compared to how much we would usually receive. I would order again.

Great food, lovely interior and absolutely fantastic service. Not only was the food delicious but it's great to go somewhere that the owner comes round and chats to you and checks everything is ok because he cares about his customers. It's also great to meet someone who is excited about his business and is striving to make it even better. He showed us the outside area where he will have tables outside once the weather improves, which will be lovely.We will definitely be back.

Visited the restaurant early evening. After already contacting them to see if a booking was required. We arrived and were greeted and shown to our table promptly. The menu and drinks menu were made available by our waiter. Drinks ordered straight away while we browsed the menu. Food ordered and the drinks arrived. Followed by our poppadoms and pickles. Freshly cooked, warm and crisp with freshly prepared accompaniments. The lime pickle was as expected flavoursome and spicy. Starters arrived and all looked great. Obviously freshly cooked to order. The stuffed pepper was beautiful. Mains, sides, rices and breads followed. Each dish was served in separate warmed bowls. All were hot, freshly cooked and looked great. Each main course curry looked different. Unlike some restaurants where they all look the same. We all tried and tasted a little of everyone's dishes and all agreed how good they were. After we had finished eating a table next to ours were talking to the restaurant owner. Saying they thought the meals were to salty for them. Our meals tasted as they should. Nothing was over powering with the flavours. All garnished with fresh chopped coriander, salad and limes. An excellent meal. The owner came over to our table and we passed on our compliments. He offered us a round of drinks to which we had to sadly decline. This is a fantastic restaurant for both food and service. The draught cobra beer is also excellent. We will be back.

We came here a few weeks ago as a family. We had previously ordered a takeaway from here a few months back, but due to overwhelming demand, mistakes were made and parts of our order were missing.I phoned up and spoke to the then manager who said it would be an hour wait (it was Valentines Night) so we agreed that I would message him via FB and sort out replacement food/discount etc. Anyways, management changed since then but Shamin was willing to still let us have the agreed "free" food that was missing, as well as 15% off. It took us a while to actually get here as we don't often eat Indian.We came on a Friday night and was a bit surprised at how quiet it was, although they did have a constant flow of people in.The staff was very friendly and helpful and the restaurant itself was very light (unusual in an Indian restaurant) and spacious (as in not crammed in). The décor was simple but effective. Looks to also have a lovely outdoor area too.The food was very good once again, although I wasn't too keen on the garlic chicken. The tandoori chicken in the starters to share was gorgeous and moist. We also had desserts which were yummy.There was a slight issue with the bill, but this was quickly rectified.Overall it was a good experience, but we would have to try again to make a firm decision.

I've had a number of takeaways from here now and they are always of a very high standard. Paid a visit to eat in lats night and the same standard was achieved. Fantastic food, good service. Will most certainly visit / order from here on a regular basis. Every aspect of the meal was spot on and the Lamb Dhansak had a very good chili kick. I find a previous comment about salt quite baffling.... but as stated, it's a matter of taste.

We have just had a really good value meal,we informed the owner that we felt that it was a little more salty than we like but understand this is very much an individual taste he was very receptive and said he would inform the chef .We would go back any time We think that the reception area is in need of a makeover not a good look at at all needs to be much more welcoming .

Not been here before. Went for takeaway. The atmosphere seems very nice and lots of happy customers in dining area as I heard then talking to staff when departing all were very positive. Very good vegetarian food. Naan bread and tarka dhall were outstanding. Also had a vegetable curry as a main dish which was also superb.

Red Chilli Sizzler is a refreshing addition to the restaurant scene in High Wycombe. We have tried a few and the Sizzler is a cut above for friendliness and service. The menu offers a few different choices from the usual curry menu. The food actually tastes fresh and tasty. It also does as it is says in the title with that hint of chilli which I washed down with a cool beer.

My favourite indian restaurant! Food is always cooked to perfection, full of flavour and good portions. Great atmosphere!

Been there a number of times now with my family. The food is brilliant and they are very helpful with adjusting the menu for the kids. Not had any problems with the food or the service and it's great value for the high quality food. Strongly recommend.

Recently moved to the area and had tried a few Indian restaurants around and hadn't found anything that nice until someone recommended red chilli sizzler. It was lovely food with very friendly service. We have finally found our regular Indian restaurant. Thanks

Living in High Wycombe and working in London I do not usually get to much time to try the restaurants close to home. One place that I have had the fortune to come across is the Red Chilli Sizzler. I have now eaten there four times over the last couple of months. Since the first time I stepped in the staff have been amazing very friendly, attentive and not forgetting the food, the mixed grill they do is fantastic by far and away the best I have tried in an Indian Restaurant. Good wine list with some interesting names especially on the Pinot Noir. Finally on Friday went home late and was starving, it was after 10.30pm however the owner Shamin was more than happy to stay open till I came in and ordered. Really impressed. They also have a great Sunday Buffet although have not tried that yet. Will update when I have

Went out for a cheeky curry with some friends and found this gem of a restaurant. Don't be put off by the location because they serve up a bloody good naan. If you like them hot, spicy and tasty (and I'm not even talking about the waiters here), this is the place to eat. Portions are large, but we all know size isn't everything. And for desserts, they really spoil you by having a frozen Ferraro Roche on the dessert menu, I mean, who doesn't love a Ferraro Roche? As my close mate Arnie says, 'I'll be back'.

The food was terrible, I found a plastic in food, and the waiter instead of apologising, started to give explanation on how it might have got into the food and kept asking if I am going to eat the rest of dish (of-course I am not going to eat it idiot). The mutter paneer tasted like feat. and the service is like they are doing favour by serving the costumer.

The food was superb and the staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome. Highest recommendation. :)

The food in this place is ok, unfortunately the service is shocking.We ordered takeaway from here and was happy to collect as the 1 hour 15 minute wait was not appealing to have the food delivered.Collecting the food meant it would be ready in 45 minutes.We arrived after 45 minutes and continued to wait and wait and wait for our food.Eventually, the waiter who kept telling me 'just another 5 minutes' brought the food from the kitchen. We had waited the 45 minutes plus a further 45 minutes in the restaurant!Food was ok when we got it home but not amazing as we were hoping.

Simply put they cannot cope when it gets busy. At 9pm on Saturday we got seated at one of 2 tables in a separate area at the front of the restaurant - it's easy for them to forget you there.Waited 15 minutes to place a drink order, half an hour more before placing food order to be told the food will be another half hour because they've had a run on takeaway orders in the kitchen. Food eventually arrived an hour later. The table next to us was waiting for their bill and had a similar experience. I heard at least one other person complain. The staff seemed stressed, at one point disagreeing with each other in front of us over the waiting time.It's ok to keep people waiting however you need to be able to deal with it. All the explanations and apologies came at the end of the meal (almost midnight) when the restaurant was quieter. To be fair they offered a free drink.Sizzler Menu seems good value on the face of it however after you listen to all the exceptions it's not so good. Any dish including prawns or duck incurs a surcharge for starters and another surcharge for main. Tandoori Grill is also extra - the list goes on.My positive comment - the food is delicious.Toilets are freezing and dirty, tap hangs loosely on the basin, no soap.Could be so much better.

I have been to many indian restaurants over the years,but i have to say Red Chilli Sizzler is the best i have ever tasted.It is in a class of its own on top of that the staff are great, nothing is too much trouble for them the atmosphere is ace, a really great place to eat.
