I found the restaurant/take away online and based on reviews - decided to go! When l reached the place l ordered to take away and had little to eat there (plus they do the traditional Mantu’s). I asked how much?, when checking prices. The guy who had finished eating quietly paid, then when l finished l asked, if all what I ordered was in the bag. When l was quoted the price l asked again!! I had been over charged. Plus when l reached home the portion where very small for 3 people plus the mixed grill had chicken pieces cut in 4’s from 1 chicken cube. Food was okay/good, however, not for the price and to be ripped off! Shameful, shameful. I had asked the price at the beginning and was told not to worry - l can pay at the end , not only was salad missing, portion/what was quoted was not correct then to be over charged. Before sitting down or paying - check what you order, price and physically ask to see instead of being treated with dishonesty. I will not recommend or go there again!

Food hear never disappoints. Really special authentic Afghan home cooking. Mantu (dumplings with spiced lamb topped with yoghurt and chana dahl) is my favourite. The Qabily Pilau (rice cooked with sultanas, grated carrot and lamb on the bone) is to always perfect. Had that with an aubergine stew. Asked for small portions to share for 2 and was more than enough. Amazing food in a deceptively ordinary looking shop. Limited seating so book if eating in. Take away orders going out constantly. Chef cooks in front of you .

A small cozy restaurant. Seating place maybe 12 maximum. The chef Akbar was friendly, hospitable and looked after us really well. The food was extremely tasty and authentic. Service was very fast. Some may consider the restaurant as pricey, but the food was worth it.

Very delicious and flavorful. The lamb chops were very tender and spiced will. Mantu was very tasty(big portion). Aubergine stew was very delicious as well. All these three dishes are a must to try. Free tasty spicy sauce and salad are served before the food. Nice owner. Medium prices. Will definitely come back again.

Delicious food in an unassuming place. The aubergine stew is melt-in-the-mouth, and the tortellini/aashak is really fresh and silky. Great service and brilliant value. We go back all the time.

My family and I love the food from this place - amazing and delicious Afghani food. Small shop and family business run by a lovely, warm local family. Not ideal to eat in but perfect for take away or delivery! Such delicious food. A regular place for our family to eat

Came here on our way to a party and sadly wasn't impressed. Maki rolls online were £3 and website said £5 but in the restaurant were £7 - I've never seen maki this expensive! Didnt have any sushi due to price. I had the vegetable fried noodles which tasted vinegary (bottled sauce) and 3 bits of broccoli. Pretty basic. My friend had spicey chicken rice which was nice. Wouldn't recommend.
