Oh My Coffee Shop in Waltham Forest

My friend and I attended there today, for a quick got chocolate really good customer service by a young guy called Joe. Made us feel very welcome. This place is a must.

The welcome was warm and friendly the coffee was full-flavoured and hot. The sourdough with poached eggs was excellent. It was just about as good as it comes.

Saturday morning and the washing machine explodes , so i go to the local launderette. As a grown man i needed lessons from the manager on how a launderette works. so Feeling like a idiot with an hour to spare I slid into the Ohh my coffee shop next door. - Place is nice , eclectic ,trendy, busy. I read the clipboard menu and notice they have events and workshops, very community driven and a really nice vibe. I had a black coffee and the Nice and simple- its Egg, Avocado on 2 sourdough slices.(£7.60)and ; It was great, good quality ingredients, the avocado had flavor! flavor you dont get with cheap avocados same with eggs and sourdough toast. it was so nice i dont remember eating the first slice, so made a conscious decision to savor the second, its then i noticed the pomegranate molassesy sauce thing- just really nice all round snack. They also sold some cheeses and local chingford honey ; lady behind the counter was super knowledgeable about the products. I bought some black bomber cheese , walnut biscuits, and some london made "Bunkum Bay Hot sauce" £12 all together. Got home with my newly laundered stuff and had totally forgot about the washing machine;..and I thought, F**k it, im eating the the cheese .. Already will go back for more of the hot sauce. and i like the idea of being able to buy local , even locally harvested honey.

Best cafe in Chingford. Anshan makes every customer feel special and is awesome community hub in the area.

I love this place- like coming here to read- no loud music and really lovely staff. Love the fact it's not a chain- managed to polish off one of their warm scones today in under 10 seconds!!!

Called in for lunch today - fabulous menu, wonderful selection and fab service. i encourage you to call in. I had what is now the best jacket potato in the world. Perfectly tender and topped with chicken, feta, red peppers, and a mound of avocado with a salad on the side. I have eaten many jacket potatoes in my time - this is without a doubt number one. The service was excellent, attentive and friendly. They also sell gifts and I purchased the most perfect bookends as a forthcoming baby gift. I really, really loved this place and the best jacket potato in the world.

We were in the area and wanted something to eat and a coffee, this place looked interesting and there was space so we went in. Some interesting cakes but when we asked if any Gluten Free ones, the answer was a surprise, “not today, sorry, but we do have dairy free ones!” Not a lot of help if someone has a gluten intolerance. The milk shake is good, and coffees acceptable. So potential but needs work, especially in the area of allergies - if the answer was a joke then it’s not acceptable and if made in ignorance then it’s dangerous

Hi, I went with my daughter. It's place is well decorated with lovely homely interiors. The best thing is the cakes on offer. Homemade and delicious. I've rated this 2 stars because of the level on cleanliness. Dirt on the chair and alot between the chair posts, really off putting and doesn't give much confidence for the rest of the surroundings. The food is ok huge portions but taste wise not great. Cakes👍but food 👎. Menus needs to be reprinted... stained and ripped. Also opening times...opens at 10am which is quite late.

I pop in when I can. My son often asks to come to eat but it’s only cake after school so we miss eating the food. We’ve always had lovely tasty meals and will try to get brunch one weekend. Very friendly people too.

We visit Oh My at least 1 per week. The fresh home made cakes are always a treat and the choices are always changeing

Thought we'd have a healthy lunch for a change. Had a scrambled egg, salmon, avocado & pesto sandwich with the catchy name of Scrumdiddlyumptious, which comes with a small salad and crisps. It was a very nice portion and very tasty. Staff are very attentive. Lots of other nice choices on the menu and will visit again to try something else. They also have their own deli next door selling various jams and pickles etc.

Went here for a friends Birthday. When the food arrived their was a long hair across our smoked salmon choux pastries. I said oh a hair and picked it off the pastries while the waitress stood watching me. No apology, no shall I get you a new portion, no nothing! So disappointed with the quality in general, the egg mayo was very strange, almost like scrambled eggs in Mayo. No clotted cream for our scone, just boring whipped cream. Even the tea was awful. Won't be going back.

I love this place. The food, the friendly staff, the chutneys, oils, cakes - all fabulous. Make sure you are hungry when you pop in as you get a great portion of food! Love the imaginative combinations, very creative. Excellent value for money.

A quirky little coffee shop yes it certainly is. But the cakes are awful. Imagine 1 layer Victoria sponge with dabs of different flavours dobbed on top. There were about 15 different cakes on show with a clipboard and scribbled pencil listing the cake number and what it was. Really scruffy! A child of 10 would have written it better. The cake then is to be chosen and delivered to the customers table. When it arrives it’s been covered with fake cream and coloured crystals. Yugh They do offer gluten free. I chose a berry cake. It was truly the worst cake I have ever had since I was diagnosed as wheat intolerant. My husband chose a peanut butter chocolate number which he couldnt finish. It’s 2 shops joined in the middle with the coffee bit on the left serving cakes and where most of the seats are. In the corner near the servery area is a kiddie area with toys and books. Great, good idea. But disappointed to see all the signs saying ‘ don’t leave hot drinks here’ , ‘please supervise children at all times’ ‘ don’t let them climb on the shelves’. Maybe get rid of the area then?? Lots of craft, gift ideas on shelves and hanging around which were good but limited price information. Eclectic variety of items, real mish mash. Next door is actually worse. Some chutneys, some drinks, some baked goods. Some knitted bits. Loads of shelving and displays but very limited stock. Quite pricey too. Weird that when it was time to pay we had to do this next door, telling a different member of staff what we had, she couldn’t work it out from the receipt. Toilets horrid, needs good clean and redecoration soon. Actually all cafe needs a deep clean as looking shabby. Not shabby chic.
