Really Happy Chicken in Brighton and Hove

Oh wow, Brighton was super hot at the weekend & I really fancied a Vegan milkshake. Me & my girlfriend walked up from the beach. It was so worth the walk. I had the best biscoff milkshake. Staff were helpful & nice. A MUST ATTEND for vegan & non vegans!

I don’t normally write reviews but I have to say I am just OBSESSED with the vegan mac and cheese out there! The chicken bites on the top are excellent to ( can get them in popper form). I’be been there many times and it’s always great. Also great value for money !

Lunch in Really Happy Chicken was an amazing experience. I tried the new recipe "chicken" wings and they are so delicious and bit lighter for a stomach than previous. I really like the funny chickens painted on the wall. Very friendly atmosphere and music!

Amazing! My boyfriend had the faux chicken burger and I had the faux mac n cheese. We both had the tots too! Big portions! Very kind staff... Was lovely

Normally love this place and cannot fault it. However last order was slightly disappointing. My girlfriend had the chilli chicken wrap which was superb, and I had the big burger which I’ve had many times. The only bad thing this time was the burger was very dry and was tough to eat. We also had tater tots and these were great as always!

I highly recommend the 'chicken' pieces which I had with Korean bbq sauce - they were crisp, chewy, tasty and good value for money. However, the star of the meal was the carbanara mac 'n cheez with so much flavour and pleasing comfort food textures. The fakon is delicious!

Stopped in for a quick bite, after wandering the laines. The chick'n wings were very spicy. Great for me, but not the other half, so much. They were really tasty, as was my fully loaded burger. Mac & cheeze was good too. I had it as a side, but the chick'n on top felt a little dry. There was so much food for our money that we brought a doggy bag home! Great food. Great service. The lady who served us was so friendly. Will definitely try more from the menu next time, but maybe the other half will lay off the jalapeños!

I just had lunch at really happy chicken and I am really full and really happy. I had the Big Wrap which was bigger than I expected and stuffed full of deliciousness. We will definitely return.

I was very excited to go to this place but unfortunately the food was very low standard. The Christmas burger was awful, the combination of the flavours was very random and the quality of food was just poorly, seemed to be the cheapest products just randomly chucked in there. If someone is not vegan and that’s the first vegan place they go to… They will never ever try vegan food again! What a shame. This place has potential but I think they just need to focus on better quality and really think about the flavours they want to achieve. If they do, I’m sure they can do so much better than that.

Great ethos, awful food. Chips were so dry and over cooked that they were completely hollow throughout. The chicken was solid and dry. Unsure as to whether the food had been sat under a heater for hours before hand but it certainly tasted that way. Would recommend cooking food fresh per customer. Only enjoyable part was the sauce

My fiancé and I visited really happy chicken last week and loved it! We both ordered the simple “chicken” burger and it was delicious!! Nice big bit of “chicken” with a nice sauce and a good amount, not too much like I find in most places! The “chicken” itself was cooked beautiful and seasoned very well, I really really enjoyed it and would be happy to come back!

Only heard rave reviews and brilliant this is all vegan as are we. Based on our visit today I cant say would return. Just under £40 for 3 meals and a side that took over half an hour in a so called fast food place with no loos. Mac n cheese luke warm and dry, not worth the wait. Offered to re do but couldn't wait this long with no loos. Such a shame.

We visited 21/08/21 & ordered " popcorn chicken " & a "big Burger" The popcorn chicken was really good my vegan dining companion said and my "big" burger was fine although the hash brown was bit mushy and the " bacon " was more like biltong than bacon thus hard to chew . The chips served were a generous portion & very acceptable. Irritating points however is they appear to charge for sauces when the big burger is almost £ 10 . They do not cash & you order and pay for your food as you order it even if eating in , this puts you of ordering and additional items like more drinks ! The toilets are still out of action as the place is being " renovated " they've been out of action for at least a month ? Would I go back ? Yes even though I am not vegan & never will be

Decent effort at offering a vegan take on some fast food classics. Good fresh fries, nice spicy options. Overall though overpriced. The eat in option doesn't offer much in the West Street location and for take away the prices are out. Love the idea, the execution is ok, the cost unjustified

I love the food at RHC! I had ordered my partner and I two wraps and they accidentally forgot one. I called up and they hand delivered the replacement, plus chips and two amazing cakes!! So so lovely!!

I've ordered from Really Happy Chicken so many times since it opened and absolutely love it. I've had a couple things from the menu but always come back to the mac and cheese and chicken. It's just incredible. I highly recommend Really Happy Chicken!

Not a vegan but had some food recently from RHC with friends and gave it a shot.... OMFG amazing. And that comes from a classic "I eat anything" person. Will definitely visit again, places like this make you think about other options out there.

Absolutely delicious and very reasonably priced. Vegans and non-vegans will both enjoy this place as their food is to die for (but thankfully no-one has needed to). :) Quite a unique spot with one of a kind food.
