Have noticed this place's meal deals don't include a drink anymore. Canned drinks now cost £1. The place is nowhere near as busy as it used to be. Quite a shame as it's in an ideal location to do a good trade. Food was good today. I noticed they are now doing delivery which may explain why the shop isn't so busy. Can pay with cash or card.

I use to come here all the time but they’ve really gone down hill which is a shame as there my local they changed the prices which is understandable but they already were a little overpriced for the quality of food. if you buy a meal you have to pay extra for a drink I ordered a cheeseburger in there and one man charged me extra for CHEESE for my CHEESEBURGER ridiculous and out of order when I’ve been going there for years and then another guy when I went there a different time didn’t charge me for cheese in my cheeseburger so they don’t even have set prices they’ll just charge you for what they want. The seating is outdated and worn and so hard and uncomfortable so sit in they need to update it there charging these ridiculous prices but haven’t even done anything good with the money there taking from people

The food is okay nothing special the sauce makes the food taste a bit better. Location is busy but not very clean area and food costs more than average pfc’s.

Today I ordered a small chips for my child .The guy give me old and burned chips , he just frying a new chips and quickly mixed with old chips, while I ask to show me the chips box he denied to give the box and rude to me. He way of talking is very rude and dishonest manner. Try to make fool the customer. My recommendation is pls don’t go this shop as they can give you any rotten things to eat. A local authority should notice this matters.

Place has fallen off badly it isn’t the Real Taste of old you probably remember. Rude staff and unforgivable prices. The community has helped this shop so much yet they try to rinse as much money as they can out of customers for rubbish food.

I hate to give 1 star review because I don’t want businesses to shut down but this place deserves it. Please read the last paragraph for the reason why. I’ve been living in the area for about 8 years and this place has probably been there for over a decade. They were quite popular in the beginning because of the location. I used to come here for the cheap prices and value for money. Then with price rises over the years, the value for quality worsened so I stuck to getting their promo deal - 3 doner kebab meals for the price of 2. 2 days ago, I went to the shop after many months. Bear in mind that my go to doner kebab meal had already increased in price after the pandemic; I was shocked to find out that the doner kebab meal was no longer a meal deal. £15 only covered the kebab, naan and salad. Would have to pay extra for chips and drinks which usually came with the meal. At this moment, I realised there was no reason to come back to this place. It has neither value, cheap prices or good tasting food. The doner gave me food poisoning (do note that I asked for spicy though) and chips have always been not appetising over the years. Moving onto the horrifying news; the kitchen never looked hygienic but that’s common for chicken shops to be fair. Shockingly, I watched the cook at the back take out a big batch of wings from the frier and some dropped on the floor. THE GUY PICKED THEM UP AND PUT THEM BACK IN THE BATCH. In conclusion, this place has been around for over a decade and has made less than minimum changes or innovations. Shamim’s PFC down the road managed to renovate their chicken shop to look like a fine dining establishment. This place has lost its value for money and the unappetising taste leaves much to be desired. The hygiene is criminally low. In my opinion, spice hut is the best chicken shop in the area now: amazing taste for a chicken shop, reasonable prices and good value.

The guy give old Chips it's all ready fry from I did not say anything because they should give every customer fresh Chips I think they should know that I pay for my Chips that the less they can do. They should not give any thing that old we pay for that food. I know it hard for the business but they should look after customer so that they are back l.

Avoid this shop. They gave us out of date chilli sauce it had an awful taste this must be the reason why me and my other half had food poisoning and the wings where stale so was the chips. Nothing is fresh in there. Its the worst in eastlondon.

Ordered through Uber Eats. Food never arrived, I appreciate this is not the shops fault, and I will eventually receive a refund from Uber, however when I phoned the shop trying to find and locate my food the number they advertise online with does not go through. To me this is terrible customer service, in this modern day and age you should have contact between customers. Highly disappointed!!!

What can I say. Shocked isn’t going to cut it. It’s more like daylight robbery. Went in to get a little snack to nibble on. Asked for a portion of wings. The guy said £3 so I asked for how many, he replied 5. Checked the price list and it says 60 pence a wing. You would think they would have a deal on 5 or 10, but no the guy says it’s £6. Not even KFC charges that much. KFC works out 50p per wing. Even in spice hut you get naga wings for 50p each. Been to all the other shops along the strip and they all are selling in bundles. This is the last time I’m going into that shop since they have increased all their prices ridiculously.

They're ripping people off. Kids beef burger with chips without drink is £. 2.25 ( now its £2.50), I then asked for a can of Coke the price went to £3.50. So basically charging people £1.25 for a can of Coke. All the other meals are prices really high. Go down the road to spice hut and save money, it's better quality too.

10/10 for kebab(meat), wings & chips always. I’m a more than ten-year-old customer. In food a wonder for East London. A busy place but with real fast food service. Taste quality remains a priority that’s what have to share and what I buy every time I visit. Quite premium prices currently but portions are large every time boxes are full to the max. Still, I will go again to fill my hunger anytime.

Bought two piece chicken and two wings meal. Oil drenched, poor quality and soggy chips, overly crispy and salty chicken, artificial chilli sauce are the reasons I could not eat the food. After couple of bites I felt sick, it then went in the bin, I won't be going back.

Traumatic experience at this restaurant, was served expired food from incompetent chefs which led to a excruciating stomach bug for the last two days. After finishing my visit I experienced symptoms of stomach reflux and nausea and vomitted throughout two entire nights. My brother followed on with the same symptoms and is now not able to work alongside me at my workplace. Will not be visiting this restaurant again, please try somewhere else.

Got a donner meal after hearing good things about this place. Unfortunately did not live up to expectations. Had a promo running with 2 donner meals get a 3rd free. The quality of the meat was awful, meat tasted rubbery. Wings were okay. Had food poisoning the same day. Won't be returning.

Ripped off here for 2 donner meals paid 13 quid. Quality and portion is not too great. The meat was chunky and not as good as the local competitors. A few chips that were thrown in weren’t very good. There’s better just a little walk away which I had the next day.

Real taste used to be good in comparison with other chicken shops near by. Nowadays it has turned the worst day by day, Today I have purchased family bucket & the chicken were half cooked and not up to the standard anymore. I really felt bad in front of my children. Went there after loads of hype, customer service was lacking, you have to repeat your order loads of times with little attention from them. Wings were soft but very bland and no flavour at all, fries were overcooked, too crispy. Chilli sauce was too watery and saving grace was their doner which was on point!

I usally go to this shop when it's a saturday night takeway. I read the reviews on how the wings tasted since i only get biryani, and found that the wings were dry and flavourless. Gave the whole family food poisoning and constant vomiting fir weeks. Prices are a bump.

This place is so bad even covid stays 2 metres away. Chips hard enough to stab someone with, wings hard enough to smash a window with. Not sure wether they serving chicken or pigeon.

This place has the best hot chicken wings meal in the area. £3 for 6 wings, chips and drink which is great. The wings are crispy and extremely tender with plenty of chicken on the bone. Very impressive chicken wings meal with great value. Good and speedy service. Lots of other meal choices like burgers and kebabs. Plenty of space to dine in with large tables and plenty of sauce. Really good portion sizes. 5 stars on the wings alone. 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟

This place is an amazing place to eat as the atmosphere was astonishing and the food was mouth watering I don't know how they made it so good and the way they welcome you is unbelievable, it's as if they treat you like family.

Tardaron poco en servirnos dos durums con patatas y bebida y pagamos unas 8 libras, un precio muy bueno para la cantidad que nos sirvieron, aunque echamos en falta algo más de verdura. Solo aceptan pagos en efectivo.

Terrible. The owner needs to change his staff. There are 2 staff that are usually at the counter. Very aggressive with children and adults. They dnt oppologise if they get order rong. Some days u are allowed to have separate sauces when taking away and some days ur not. Different rule each day. I ordered a half a pounder meal was given a small cheese burger. Instead of remaking another he goes "Ive made it now take it or leave it" I ordered a plain cheese burger I was given one dripping with sauce. All he did was scraped the sauce off with a knife and gave it. Didn't bother making another. Their chips something so basic they get wrong!! Sometimes they are white and under cooked or burnt and bitter. Its annoying.. Also ive noticed they dont give the customers their change back. If the bill is 5.95, they say its £6 and keep the change! There have been many times where i am owed 2p or 3p or 5p change and they keep it! By charging more. But as a customer it should be ME who decides if they should keep change or not. Not them!! BEWARE about pricing. I think changing the staff will improve service.

Ordered 30 wings.. 2 burger meals, and a large kebab...packed everything except the kebab... tried to call the number to complain but number not recognised...frustrating!!! we live outside of London so this is extremely disappointing when returning back home to find you have paid for something that has been missed due to incompetence... Be aware of your orders for customers before handing over their food.

I went there ordered my food and then I asked the guy there a question he was do RUDE and was like can't you do this and that never going there. They all mug you off cause they are sell '' not to be sold separately '' Diet Coke bottle so they can make money. After my experience I ain't going there ever again and I will say for you not to go there as well they even have me a broken wing and the drinks are unhygienic cause they are hot. I'm afraid to say that the fish and chips I purchased here were a complete anticlimax. After receiving abrupt and unfriendly service and orange polystyrene boxes with my food in, I knew that I was not likely to be in for a treat. Upon getting home, the enclosed iceberg lettuce and watery, pale slices of tomato (are these really required?) were now lukewarm and had only served to moisten the rest of the food. The chips were not the shop-cut type I'd been hoping for, but thin frozen "fries". You know what you're getting with them I suppose. The real disappointment lay in the fish. It was clearly pre-battered and frozen. Even after I'd attempted to revive it in my oven, it still resembled a wet newspaper, disintegrating and driven over on the street. Not a flake in sight. This place clearly wishes to serve as a one stop shop for any number of hot meals, rather like those mobility scooter shops which also undertake mechanical repairs to motor vehicles. They really should just focus on doing one thing well. I shall not be using them again, and definitely don't recommend using them for fish and chips.
