Real China in Southwark

I’m not sure where to start. I visited here with my wife for the lunchtime buffet. We were really not impressed at all. The restaurant had only been open for 30 minutes and the food was cold, the sweet and sour chicken wasn’t even “warm”. Not a great deal of variety in terms of food selection to be honest. The table behind us, no one had sat at, yet there was crumbs all over the floor around the table. The entire floor had mop marks, where a damp mop had just been rubbed over it, rather than actually cleaned. There appears to be no official hygiene rating so far, but I can not see it being a five. Two or a three at best. Initially it looks like a very nice restaurant, until you actually get in and see for yourself what it is like.

Pedí una comida para llevar de Just Eat y luego revisé Scores on the Doors para obtener clasificaciones de higiene de los alimentos. Consternado, fue sólo 1 estrella! ! . Luego revisé Trip Advisor y las críticas no fueron buenas. Se canceló el restaurante para cancelar pero dijo que tendría que volver a Just Eat. La comida fue entregada y parecía agradable, ¡pero solo pude comer un poco debido a lo que descubrí! Me puse en contacto con Just Eat para pedirles que muestren las calificaciones de Higiene de los Alimentos, ya que necesitamos saber si existe un riesgo para nuestra salud. De ninguna manera ordenaría alimentos con una calificación de higiene de alimentos de 1 estrella. Aparentemente lo están investigando. Se consciente de las personas

mis amigos y yo visitamos China real en el casco para salir a comer e inmediatamente nos atrajo la amplia gama de opciones de menú que se muestran fuera del restaurante, sin embargo, dentro del buffet no se parecía en nada al menú, casi no había otra opción en comparación con lo que dijo el menú, del mismo modo con los desiertos solo para ver el interior, había ONE Deseret disponible que parecía aplastado y muy poco apetitoso.  Cada uno de nosotros probamos la comida y nos disgustó la calidad de la comida que comimos. ! El pollo estaba inflado con agua y sabía a líquido puro, los panqueques de pato eran casi como aserrín al igual que la carne de cerdo y los lados de las papas fritas y los aros de cebolla que comimos estaban empapados y helados. ! Después de haber sido limpiado con casi un plato lleno, nos quejamos antes de pagar y ¡fue completamente ignorado! Las mujeres de la caja fueron ridículamente groseras y dijeron "nadie se queja" "nuestra comida es fresca" (que ciertamente no lo era) y no les importó en lo más mínimo lo pobre que había sido nuestra experiencia, la mía y la mía. ¡Los amigos se sorprendieron de la manera grosera en la que nos habían hablado después de solo mencionar lo decepcionados que estábamos! Definitivamente no recomiendo visitar China real, ya que incluso después de nuestras quejas revivimos sin disculpas y nos vimos obligados a pagar el precio completo por la comida que ni siquiera habíamos tocado. ¡Absolutamente deshonrado y NO volveré a China "real" nuevamente! ! ! !

The quality of the food was really good came hot and arrived early. Overall is a 5 star.

45 mins late. Food arrived cold. Usually get it from here and it is delicious but the last 3 times it hasn’t been good enough. Sadly won’t be ordering again.

I called the store and was told they had a total of ten orders, when I've been in there they are never that busy and some of the food was cold, once before I ordered from them and got my order 20 mins after my daughter who had ordered 30 minutes after me. Poor service today just like the last time, not even a call to say we busy. Yet if I'd walked there I could have had the order in twenty minutes, if you are not able to deliver a service then don't offer it

regular customer, good portions and always on time or early, tasty too.

Food was under cooked and watery ,the blackbean sauce was just coloured water ,no taste at all so I wont be ordering there again.

I was impressed with how amazingly quickly it came but the special fried rice although fresh, was very bland and so was the chicken inside the chicken balls. The chow being had very little beef, but apart from that tasted nice.

Delighted that order arrived early, food was hot and tasty. Ordered for 5 and everyone was happy with their orders

Food arrived piping hot after a wait of about 30 mins, which is perfect. The delivery-driver always lets me know when he’s on his way so I meet him outside. I’ve had many delicious dinners from here and they’ve never been late or messed up an order. Hassle-free, decent Chinese 10/10

We've been ordering on & off from Real China for a couple of years now, it's consistently been good. Particularly the Salt & Peppar Squid or the Singapore Noodles.

Good standard, great portion. Ordered egg fried rice, stir-fry Pak Choi and king prawns Kung po. All delicious!

Chilli beef was super salty, inedibly so. Almost as if someone had mistaken the salt for sugar

Good food, always delivered early and arrives nice and hot.

Food was great. did order set meal for 3 but could not finish it even we were 4 adults.

Salt and pepper squid was a little to greasy.. lost flavour. Still enjoyable but had better from the same restaurant. I find on Friday and Saturday the quality of the food is a hit and miss.

Thai curry not so good. Didn't look authentic or taste authentic. Will not be ordering again. On the upside plenty chicken. Everything else tasted splendid.

sweet & sour pork - some pieces burnt inside the batter and pork was hard. both soups were bland, no flavour we had to put salt so we could eat it.

Usually very good but of late as soon as you order and given a time for delivery twice now it's been bumped up by another 30 mins. Most of the food arrived cold this evening.

AVOID ORDERING FROM THIS SHOP. I don't even know where to start, food came stone cold, when I called up the lady said she couldnt do anything and told me to just heat it up in the microwave, I then asked for the manger he said he would only replace the fried items and deliver them him self, when he came with the items they weren't even in a bag and the manager took chips out and ate them just to try prove they were hot, all the replacement food was still cold and was not edible, all food went in the bin, if you want a nice Chinese then avoid this shop by all MEANS, your food will only go in the bin like mine did and you won't even get any refund!

The food was absolutely bad, my vermicelli (they should be noodles and I don’t know why I received vermicelli) were no saucy and they seemed from this morning...

I ordered some chow mein noodles and I received this vermicelli, completely not saucy and they also seemed from yesterday!!! They were absolutely not good.

Food was really average, don't understand how this place such good reviews. Pad Thai ordered not even close to a real Pad Thai. Delivery time 1:20 minutes.

the food is good and fresh but every time I ordered some food says 45-55 but the reality is a bit different. Is never less than 90 min and I have ordered 3 times. if you okey to wait worth it for but if you think 90 min is a bit long like me you should definitely try another place.

I ordered my food to be delivered at 9:30 and sure enough it arrived exactly on time hot and delicious. Nice friendly delivery guy too..will definitely order again. Just fab! Five stars to Real China

The food is always good and the portions are very generous. This is my go to place.

Prawn fried rice wasn't flavoured too much green peas and not enough vegetables like spring onions peppers. The rice was a little hard and too white to say it was fried rice.

Called restaurant to see if earlier delivery was available and they were happy to oblige. Delivery driver was punctual and polite. 5/5 for both restaurant and delivery service.

always spot on with the crispy beer, nice lil kick with 🌶! sweet n sour chicken is pretty decent too. but crispy beet is where it’s at! trust me!

We fund a plastic in the food, it was just awful... the restaurant didnt want to give the money back saying we order through Just eat, just eat will refund the money. It was a cash paayment. Avoid avoid avoid at all cost .

My Thai green curry was very watery and my husband’s chow mein wasn’t great. They were very unapologetic when I called to ask when the food was going to be delivered as it was incredibly late. Would never use them again.

The food arrived late ,phoned to complain and the woman said i should not order at busy times then 😑. The food was not nice at all the rice was so oily i had to throw it away . I will never give my hard earned money to them again .

Food was late but didn’t mind as Saturday could be busy for them. Driver come with sauce spilled on bag and over other dishes but we grinned and bared it. Once we opened the food everything was cold and hard! Resturant service was appalling (If that’s what they call them self) Never ordering from here again.

Food is great, but restaurant added 30 mins to the delivery time, then delivered 30 mins late on that already extended time. App said it was delivered when it wasnt. Only 0.6 miles away. They weren't helpful on the phone

Friday night, order at 8p.m did not receive it until 10.30p.m. delivery driver put in wrong post code. Food cold and for some reason it was crashed.

Late & got my order wrong (ordered satay chicken, was given szechuan chicken). Very disappointing.

Starter selection was crammed into one box, food was generally very oily. Very disappointing indeed, We picked at a few things and left most of it.
