Just been to the New Hing Loong Chinese restaurant in Brampton Road, Bexleyheath, good portions, good food, service good. Long may it continue.

Having lived on the continent for over twenty years, the Mage really misses authentic Chinese food. On a business trip to London, the Mage went in search. This restaurant is great if you're only interested in the food and don't care about the decor. It's not a great destination for a romantic dinner, unless your partner is of the same opinion. Largest portion of crispy fried seaweed the Mage has ever seen, unfortunately rather sweet. The Beef in blackbean sauce was simply divine and there was a generous amount of beef in there. Wine selection could be improved, but wasn't all that bad and was very reasonably priced.

We were staying near by and exhausted after a long day of sightseeing so we got takeaway from here. We've had good chinese from China Town in NYC and other areas and this was on par with the best.

The food was clearly cooked in the morning and left out till a customer ordered it. However, the worst part of the restaurant is the 10% service charge from waiters who had no manners let alone courtesy.

No estoy seguro si me volvería a visitar pronto.

Needed some food in a hurry and decided to pop in for a quick meal. Was expecting another average Chinese but was surprised by how good the food was, Would recommend this place which has some interesting dishes on the menu. Try the apple duck.

Not many good Chinese restaurants in this area but this one has decent food. Their roast duck is pretty good. Lotus rice is nice too. Reasonable prices.

We visited for dinner and although the staff were friendly and the service was good we were really disappointed by the food. My bang bang chicken salad was so smothered in peanut sauce it was overwhelming. The rest of the food was average - not awful, but not worth a second visit

Look, it's in a really convenient location, it's small and overlit, the staff are just the wrong side of polite. But it serves up good, fresh Cantonese food and great value for London. We've been a couple of times in a large group 12 and 16, on Friday nights and they managed pretty well and were happy to split the bill for each person/couple which is pretty rare. If you want fine dining and a spectacular view, head to the Hutong in the nearby Shard or for the real Cantonese experience, get yourself to Soho. The Hing Loong is an honest and reliable little place and we like it.

I have been coming here for years but about a year ago the staff have been different Maybe it has changed hands? This is a shame because the cooking has been very good at times. The owners will continue to loose customers on a regular basis until they realize their errror.

As I work close by I was looking for somewhere a little different to have a quick lunch. The deal pinned up outside seemed sort of reasonable. However, the quality of the food was really awe-inspiringly awful. Never again I am afraid. The one positive aspect was that the meal did not take long and fitted easily into the time I had available.

We live locally and come here pretty regularly. The staff are usually pleasant. We had a good evening meal on Friday, food well-prepared, tasty and sensibly priced. A couple of times when we've ordered take-away there has been something missed off - so worth checking before you head off home ...

I went here with a friends for a nice catch up dinner and we both left saying it was the worst meal of our lives. We were in and out in 35 minutes (with 3 starters and 2 mains) and the service was dreadful. The beef had no taste and a very texture and the duck was more pepper than in a ginster steak slice. The "king prawn" was the most pathetic excuse of an crustacean I have ever seen.Don't not come here, the food and service is disgraceful!!!

We work in the City and go to Hing Loong all the time as we live around the corner. The service is always delightful and the food lovely. Not always the same as this is a local independent restaurant, but always delicious! Really recommend it. You just try the bang bang chicken, the crispy duck and the chicken chow mein. Yummy!!

The food was poor. One waiter was amongst the rudest I've come across the other was OK. There are many better options if you're in this part of London.

Dreadful food, the beef was hard and tasteless, 2 of our party group who ate the beef where sick, my chicken in blackbean sauce has to be the worst I have ever eaten, bland and tasteless, I will never ever eat at this restaurant again, overall the worst experience of any restaurant I have ever eaten at.

A solo early supper - sat in splendid solitude at first - a little bit of banter with the waiter who recommended crispy noodles with my beef brisket.Done well this is one of may favourite things - I always seek it out in Hong Kong. Here in Borough High Street, London it was surprisingly good. Far too much for one but I managed to devour most of it.The restaurant was filling up as I left and many of the diners were of Chinese origin which is a positive sign.

We went there to have a late dinner. We asked if it is still oK and were told its fine. The waiter was rude, unapologetic and very unpleasant least to say.The food was old, noodles hard and not edible. Instead of squid i got prawns without any word of apology or anything else. Certainly not a place where i would go and eat again!!!

We had takeaway. It was ready in 5 minutes (not a good sign) and despite getting it home in 3 minutes it was soggy, bland and boring. Precisely the opposite of what Chinese food should be. And expensive and served with no charm. I will not be back.

This is the only Chinese restaurant we can find near the London Bridge. They serve traditional Cantonese food there, some typical 'British Chinese' food you can get in all the Chinese restaurants. I had a quick dinner with friends after work there, the food was lovely and the service was pretty quick. But the waiter wasn't friendly at all, he didn't say a word or give a smile, no matter what we say. when we asked for bill, we didn't even know whether he heard us or not, because he just turned around and walked away :o In general, we are still quite happy with our meal, the food's tasty and the waitress helped us ordered food was very nice and helpful.

We've been at Hing Loong last Saturday for the first time, and we will be back for sure when in London. The service is quick, you get advises about the different dishes. The food tasted very good, reasonable large portions. Normal prices for a city like London. Staff very quick and helpful. We will be back!

Hing Loong is located right in the middle of Lisle St. in London's Chinatown. It is quite small with only around 8-10 tables so one may encounter some waiting. Well, if there is a line, it means that the food is good and it is worth the wait. They have a wide assortment of Chinese dishes to choose from during lunch and dinner. I had the noodle soup with won ton and it was a full order with lots of fresh ingredients for only 5.80 pounds. It was a filling dinner. I would highly recommended this restaurant. May be difficult to choose from so many restaurants in London's Chinatown.

I first had dinner here more than a year ago, and I never came back because the food was not that good. Two weeks ago however I took out some friends to dinner and they wanted Chinese and this was the only one I knew that was open on a Sunday in the area. I was pleasantly surprised. Maybe they changed their cook? We had fried rice, noodles, sweet and sour pork, tofu, a chicken dish and a veggie dish - and I paid just £35. I will definitely come back - and hope the food would still taste as good.

Chinese restaurant on Borough High Street. Busy with Chinese people eating - I was the only person speaking English - so had high hopes. Food was plentiful (could not finish my plate) and tasty. It was your standard 'UK Chinese Food', and the quality was OK. More food than you can eat for under £8 is also a bonus! The service was minimalist - not rude - but they appeared surprised that I was eating there and was not Chinese.

After eating in borough market we would go home late especially after pubbing. Nothing beats the value of this place good basic Chinese food. Make sure to have the crispy beef, duck rice and crispy mixed seafood noodles. Value for your money. Nothing beats late night Chinese takeaway.

I ordered take out from here and as you can see it’s not up to scratch. The food was inedible and ended up in trash. I love Chinese food. Its disappointing to taste bad Chinese food. I ordered a whole duck and got four sides of fried ducks. It was like eating a leather shoe. The chow mien had some sort of weird sauce running through the noodles - like a bland salty tomato sauce. I actually feel unwell now. Even dog refused to eat the duck. Save your money.

Had just ordered our meal and then had to cancel almost immediately due to an emergency and leave. They insisted on making us pay £70 for a full meal. They said the chef had already cooked it having not checked with the kitchen. As we were leaving one of the waiting staff then made a racist comment that I shan't repeat here Would not recommend.
