Was charged £4 for 2 bread rolls(bap) with butter on. When checked other chip shops average price is about 75p. Disgusting need reporting to fair trading standards

You cannot fault this takeaway - always piping hot, always fresh and always lush! We have never had a poor meal and the delivery staff are always very polite and friendly.

We’ve just experienced fresh fish, clean and crispy batter and perfectly cooked chips from Frydays. You can be rest assured that now they are under new management they are producing new, fresh food. Keep it up Frydays and you will be crazy busy in no time!

My girlfriend placed a order today though just eat delivery time was 1 hour but that’s what it normal is so that’s completely fine delivery driver got here was polite and respectful all good so far and then we get to the food Sausage box - x1Donner meat & chips in a tray x1 Battered sausage x 2 Chicken nuggets x 1 Scallops x 2Beef burger in batter x 1We got all the food out and put it on plates and the smell that was coming from the food was horrendous to the point where by partner said straight up I’m not eating that all the food was burnt and when I started to eat my Donner meat there was a piece of blue plastic at this point I rang the store instead of doing it though just eat they picked up the phone twice and hung up on me the third time he picks the phone up and goes WHAT I explain that we have just had our food and we are not happy with it and that there was also blue plastic in my foodThe guy on the phone says the following to me •Your food is not burnt as I packed it myself • There is no plastic in our kitchen so you have placed it there At this point I couldn’t believe it I didn’t ask for a refund for the food all I asked for was for them to come and Collect the old food and replace it with new food to which he says “Sir there is nothing wrong with the food so we won’t be replacing it if there is such a problem go and just eat and deal with them”I explain I’m not after a refund just the food replacing and then he hung up on me tired ringing back but no pick up this generally the worst customer service I have ever had and wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone To make it even worse I had someone from frydays contract me thought my Facebook account saying he would like to talk about what happened offered me a refund but didn’t want to deal with them anymore so just went though just eat for a refund The person that had contacted me though Facebook started ringing my girlfriends number once in the day and then at 12:30 at night as she had just fallen alseep to which I may add my girlfriend is 6 months pregnant on the last phone call he said this to me “People lie about stuff like this and we will get our solicitors involved in this matter” obviously trying to call me a liar without actually calling me a liar this place needs reviewing by health and safety

chips were cold hard and over cooked. batter on the fish wasn't cooked properly was soggy and dougy at the bottom. went straight in the bin. won't be ordering from here again

Excellent chicken tikka kebab meat with chips, super fast delivery too and great for one when there's no minimum spend! Very happy thankyou

The Ben and Jerry's ice cream smelt and tasted like fish...i'm guessing it's stored beside fish in a freezer? The name might be 'Fish Food' but i'm pretty sure it's supposed to taste like chocolate :(

Kebab had mostly onion as salad hardly any meat and 1 slice of tomato same with the burger.delivery driver chucked food at me and walked away it's so annoying when you order and pay only for takeaway to add 30 minutes to the delivery time.food was tasty can't knock that and hot just plain.

sorry but this time not so good, hardly any cheese or mixed salad and it was not very warm. what has happened to paying for extra cheese it does not give you the option anymore, the fish was fine. also the chips were luke warm averill

Lately my order confirmations are not coming through from just eat until about 12 hours after ive actually eaten the food. This is regardless of which restaurant I choose, I think the issue is with just eat. Only way I know the order is coming is wen I hear the knock on the door

Food arrived cold and had to be microwaved. We wrote a note on the order which was completely ignored. Wouldn't go again or recommend.

My order was on a Saturday evening so a delay was expected as I knew they would be busy. Received an apology for the delay from both the shop and delivery man, so no issues or complaints in this regard. The wait was certainly worth it. Food was piping hot and great quality as you would expect. I would certainly recommend and use again.

Love to see frydays back on just eat! Lovely meals always. When you fancy a nice chippy tea who needs to walk? Order from frydays and they will deliver. Perfect food every time.

turned up 35 minutes late. and half the food missing

Food was excellent apart from the fish being a little bit greasy (which it wasnt last time we ordered it). Delivery time was very slow though, over 45 minutes past its due.

Perfect fish,chips and peas. The chips were plentiful considering we ordered one small portion between us crisp on the outside and soft and fluffy on the inside. The fish was amazing, the batter was beautiful and crispy and didn't stick to the wrapper, lucious is probably the best description and the mushy peas were perfect. Just as good as the last time if not better. Would recommend this chip shop wholeheartedly
