Made an order on uber eats waited over an hour called and got told at least another 20 minutes before they could start cooking our order asked to cancel it because they hadn't even started to make it yet but they're still charging us for the full order despite no food being made or wasted. Avoid this place. I'm actually furious.

Should’ve trusted the reviews! Took just under 2 hours to arrive. Pancakes stuck together, duck was burnt and chewy, prawn toast way overdone, chips stale and covered in chilli flakes, chicken balls cold and chewy. Best part was honestly the sauces. Diabolical.

This place has an alias on Uber eats called The Oriental Halal so I have posted a review there as well. I DISCOVERED A FLY IN THE CHOW MEIN This was the worst problem, but definitely not the only one: - The food tasted like it was made by an amateur who watched a single YouTube video before being let loose in the kitchen - Not a single ingredient was fresh. Everything was clearly old and reused. The meat was like chewing rubber. - The amount of oil was absurd. I've had oily Chinese food before, but this was beyond excessive. It looked like they were trying to single-handedly cause an oil shortage crisis. I'll never order from here again. Ever.

If I could give this lower, I would. On the takeaway app. The rating wasn't so low. What a mistake not checking Google reviews. Worst takeaway ever.

Never ordering from this place ever again. I waited almost 3 hours for my order to arrive. Tried to ring the restaurant no joke, 25 times and they didn’t answer. When the food arrives finally, it’s cold and the salt and pepper chicken is rock hard, rice tastes weirdly fishy and is uncooked. So so disappointed and it’s deffo a waste of time and money. The delivery issue seems to be an ongoing problem as others have experienced the same. Do not recommend ordering via delivery. If you want the food, go to the restaurant and pick it up. This review is edited. I ordered salt and pepper wings and chips from here today. The delivery service is beyond disappointing. Arrived literally an hour late. Food was warm but soggy. Way too much chilli flakes. Completely overpowers the salt and pepper flavour. ALSO I FOUND A RANDOM PRAWN IN MY FOOD. What if I was allergic to shellfish???? Their kitchen staff obviously have very low standards and they need educating about cross contamination.

I ordered from Uber eats at 6.37pm and my food did not arrive when I called the place up they said food will not be ready for another 30 minutes I had no update on the app if my food is ready to be picked up or driver has got my food I waited till 8.10pm and called up 100 times no one would even answer my call. If you are short staffed do not take order or promise lies to customers I am starving right now with no food. I had to cancel the order with uber team as the restaurant wouldnt respond to any calls even when uber team called them. Very bad restaurant after this bad experience I will never order from them again. 8.30pm a delivery guy came.and I told him my order I cancelled with uber I do not even want to touch the food anymore I am that annoyed. This restaurant should be banned on takeaway apps as its not capable of delivering their promises.

Salt and pepper chicken and chips used to have decent sized pieces of chicken. Bought 2 portions and the chicken pieces were few and far between with the pieces really small.

What a big big shame , used to be one of the better places in Bradford, Recently, it's getting worse by the day , they are truly not bothered about how the food is being served to the public, which is scandalous. Salt and pepper wings and chips, so so much salt it's actually bitter "WOW " , other food ordered had no spices or flavours, just more salt and missing ingredients. Such as veg , Sorry but never again.

Please do not order from here. The service is absolutely unprofessional. The food quality is sub par at best.. if you're thinking from ordering from here there are many better places to order from in bradford. My food arrived 25 minutes late, wet and soggy. Bearing in mind I live 5 minutes away from the take aways location. Nor did it update on the app, the app informed me to call the restaurant for updates. I called the restaurant to enquire about this. They said " when it's quite they use there own drivers" " and it'll be with you soon. We've cooked it fresh" given how the food arrived that was a lie. The food was not fresh. It was soggy and wet. It had been cooked when my order was placed and had been sitting in it's box for over 50 minutes. That's why it was wet and soggy and luke warm at best. I called again when the allotted time on ubereats said to contact the restaurant. I even gave an extra 5 minutes just incase they were running late. But given the fact they told me there not busy at the moment and that's why there using there own driver. The lady on the phone then gave the phone to another staff member without informing me whom I'm speaking to. He then proceeded to not listen to anything that I was saying but then began to talk at me and say " I understand & the driver will be with you, he's on his way" repeatedly. He did not listen to what I was saying but rather talking at me. Which was extremely rude and unprofessional. The entire experience was so unprofessional and rude. The lady kept referring to me as brother and mate through the entire interaction. When Informed her to please call me by my name she responded I don't know who you are. I informed her my name would be on my order that we are currently discussing. And if you are going to refer to me please refer to me by my name. She still proceeded to call me mate and brother. That was extremely unprofessional, the service of both food and staff were not on to basic standards. I don't even want to write this but I believe people should be aware of the service this business is currently providing. Extremely disappointing. As for the food. I had 2 bites and threw the rest of it away. Cold. And all fried. Stay clear guys.

Unfortunately the worst service I could recieve. Ordered from Uber eat and the food could have cause a serious injury due to contamination of a bag inside the food. Absolutely disgusting and hard food. It was Stale and Cold. Got Salt and Pepper wings and chips and they were inedible. There was chunks of Chilli thrown into it and all you could taste is chilli. SO BAD DEFINITELY AVOID!!!

...AVOID THEIR FOOD... I ordered their Salt & Pepper special for 2, opting for collection. I reached home within 3 minutes since I live just 0.4 miles away. Upon opening the bag, I found the chips and ribs stone cold. There were merely two prawns and 4 chicken pieces along with 3 pices of wings and all of them had blood in those. The taste was overwhelmingly salty, lacking onions, and I only found 3 pieces of green pepper in the entire box. The food tasted awful and seemed old. Furthermore, the customer service was incredibly poor.

The food was old I ordered 2x wings and chips 1 was totally old, dark and oil not how wings annd chips should look like, the rice was totally off old stuff, never ordering from there again. Waste of money.

Absolutely abysmal, waited 3 hours, yes 3 hours for a delivery, when it finally turned up it looked like it had been scraped out the bin! I rang the “restaurant” 14 times to be told driver in his way, driver will be a few minutes, get a refund from justeat they said!!! I gave the dried up shrivelled chicken to the dogs, hope they don’t get poorly, the carrots had skin on them and just looked dirty, the noodles just looked so old, hence why I’ve said scraped out the bin! They gave me 2 bags of prawn toast which looked shocking, and 20 vegetable spring rolls which looked like ET when he was dying! When I got through to the restaurant the guy on the other end said “I’m not the driver am I” no but ya the effin chef and food is disgusting! To which he hung up!! Avoid this place like the plague!!! I ended up ordering a pizza from somewhere else which turned up within 20minutes and was absolutely bang on :)

We ordered through uber eats and ordered from The Oriential Halal, the order was taking an hour, so I call the number lo and behold, its rawals, the guys who have always been over an hour late for our order. This time the food at least came warm, usually its cold. Do avoid these lot.

Most discusting Chinese I have ever eaten ordered at 23:15 expecting it to be quiet turned up hour and 15 later stone cold! Mains had no flavour and were just swimming in liquid I’ve never known a spare rib to look like a squishy brain my dog wouldn’t even eat was just lose fat! Never again!

We had ordered a takeaway. The food was nearly two hours late on a Tuesday. The order placed at 2030 did not arrive until 2230. Apparently they were dealing with a 100 orders (clearly a lie). The person on the phone did not apologise. The food was piping hot and the driver (ubereats) said he had raced here. Clearly the order was forgotten and when we raised the issue we were rudely dismissed. The order was not as expected. Food was soggy and several items were mushed together in a careless fashion. The only meat in the special chow mein was chicken. This food was disappointing and the service was very rude. Classic ‘whoops we forgot about this order’. I do not recommend this service. Thoroughly disappointing.

After 2 hours of waiting the food was not delivered, I was told the driver delivered the food to the wrong address when that’s impossible as I ordered through just eats and that was somehow my fault. I had to request the refund through just eats. Absolutely terrible service! Do not waste your time!

Terrible service and terrible attitude to customer services. If you don’t know about Thai cuisine don’t put it on your menu, ordered red Thai curry, was not given option for rice … then no dipping sauces with spring roll or Thai toast… makes zero sense having a takeaway without the necessary… clearly sticking to authentic places rather than these copy cats who have no idea. Furthermore, the red Thai curry ordered was more like termeric and onion stew…. Absolutely ridiculous .. what a joke of a place.

But the Restaurant took longer than the app estimated Over a Hour longer When I rang the restaurant was put on hold for 10 minutes while they rang the driver then was cut off tried to call back but no answer. We visited this place after almost 7 years. They have made some changes to the decor which was nice. Service was non existent, we were asked to sit and the lady on the counter completely forgot about us. We ordered Sizzler, Schewan chicken, chow min noodles and everything was spot on. Food still tastes the same. Will i come back again - most probably not for dine in. Food is awesome so will order takeout.

They have more good days then bad but if you do let them know of any issues with food staff are always accommodating, delivery can take a while because they are often busy . Local legend for sure.

I have a very bad experience in this restaurant. I had a many times change but I just tried this restaurant, one of the worst Chinese food in this restaurant. All our soaps disgusting salty. I just like to recommend everyone don’t come to in this restaurant. I spend £145. It’s not worth it £5 food. service not good.

DO NOT Order from here!!!! We wanted to try a new Chinese which came up on just eat. They were quick enough to take our money. Our order came 40 minutes late after ringing 3 times they kept saying “ will be with you in 5 mins” finally arrived, the food was Luke warm, they had forgotten our salt and pepper chips! So I rang straight away and the response I got was “ your delivery address is too far away so unfortunately we can’t deliver your chips” funny how they are quick to take our money but then say they can’t because we live too far away and didn’t even offer us a refund. Once I had come off the phone I put my food into a plate and realised the amount of chilli flakes that was in my salt and pepper chicken, it was like they had tipped a full tub of chilli flakes into my meal so was inedible as was way too hot. My partner who is allergic to chilli found the flakes in his PLUM SAUCE duck so he also couldn’t eat it. Jo point ringing though because we will just get told we are too far away for them to do anything about it! POOR SERVICE Will not be ordering from here ever again!!!!!! Disgusting

Fair to say that the service provided by this place has progressively worsened over time. Food arrived 2 hours late - (ordered at 20:17, arrived at 22:09). Every time i called the restaurant to see where the food was, the person over the phone was dragging it out by saying 15 mins, then 5 mins, then 2 mins. Additionally, they put the phone down on me while i was asking a question. Then the food arrived cold. Furthermore, i received 2 regular portions rather than 2 large portions, of S+P wings and chips, so was also ripped off too (bearing in mind i’ve been ordering from this place for at least 5 years). It’s understandable that it is busy but why lie and provide a time that you can’t keep? Complete lack of consideration for your customers, only focused on money, not the quality of your service or food. You all still have a lot to learn business-wise…

Ordered food at 17.55, delivery expected 18.25, got to 18.45 no delivery so rang and was told the drivers had left 10 minutes ago and had two deliveries before me so should have my food in 10 minutes. 19.00 still no food rang again this time told oh the driver had issues with his car hence delayed should be with me in 5 minutes. Food delivered 19.15 by Uber delivery driver who didn’t know what I was on about when I asked if his car was ok. He advised he had just picked up delivery and come straight to me. So clearly someone is lying!!!

Actually pretty good, had tofu in pepper sauce, salt and pepper chips (lovely and spicy) was on time too.. can’t complain at all, very cheap too.

Food was a bit late but not ridiculous or anything, called in and owner was super nice about it :) food was OK, the soft noodles are served with soy sauce and vegetables (super nice but portion size is a but small for them.) Satay was good but not very nutty. Spring rolls a bit burned. Thai curry was really really good!!! :D For the price, service and good is pretty good. Im not one to write bad reviews as I come from the hospitality industry myself, but that also means I know my food I ordered 1 portions of Salt & Pepper wings with chips and 1 portion of Ribs, I live on Barkerend Rd myself and can properly put my order through verbally by just raising my voice thats how close I live, yet my delivery took 95 mins. Out of respect for the owner who is a very decent humble person I wont go in to detail of how bad my food was but out of that same respect I would say Uncle please sort this out I know how hard you worked here for the last 22 years, please pay someone professional get these kids out they destroying your hard work

Possibly the worst experience of ordering a takeaway. Customer service was terrible. Lying about how long the driver would be. When asked for a refund, she said to go on uber eats. Please..if you are going to lie and then speak to the manager and then lie saying it was a customer... lol the lies just kept rolling.. "sister its 10 mins away" "sister its 2 mins away" "sister hes there now" *look outside no one there * friggin joke. Despite me ordering directly on their website. Order came over 1hr 15 mins later. And to top it off,it was cold and had become soggy due to how long it was kept in its packaging. As well as attaching someone else's order reciept onto my order. I ordered the appetiser box and recieved an unappetising box. Never again. Joke. Wish I had read the reviews and responses from the company before placing an order.

Got 4 portions of salt and pepper chicken wings and chips on Saturday 7 th may Not one of them had any onions or peppers or any chilli flakes and when I rang in to complain they wouldn’t entertain the complaint after persisting I was told to bring them back for a exchange or refund when I told them that I lived 5 miles away and wasn’t prepared to do a 10 mile round trip because of their mistake and said that they should deliver the correct order I was told that they could only do that after one and a half hours bloody ridiculous I then looked at their reviews out of 226 they have over 50% one star reviews if only I had done that before I ordered

Ordered the Smashburger With salt and pepper Chips for myself and my mum and the Hot chicken soup for my poorly wife. All I can say is ignore all the haters I’ve left awful reviews. The food was absolutely amazing the burger was very tasty fresh and the quality of the meat was high and cooked to perfection. The soup had a real kick to it, ideal if you’ve got the sniffles, plenty of taste and full of flavour. Quite simply This establishment comes highly recommended a massive thumbs up thank you guys !!

Told our takeaway would arrive between 00:35-00:55 hours. Tired to get in touch after hearing nothing from them nearly an hour after it was suppose to arrive, went to voicemail every time. Money came out of my account without the food, which I haven’t even eaten. Most disgusting customer device I have ever received. Hopefully the chinese we have ordered from instead will actually get in touch if they can’t be bothered to deliver the food.

The food is amazing but it is never on time. Called to ask where my food is after it being 30 minutes late and was told it’s on its way and still didn’t show up for another 25 minutes after. Maybe order your food around 3-5 business days before ideal consumption, or subscribe to next day delivery.

Ordered special fried rice, milkshakes and a pair of chopsticks among other items, didn't expect yellow rice and the entire thing tasted like an animal feed shop. Food was terrible, prawns not fully cooked, milkshakes don't taste right, tastes weak and no chopsticks delivered. All in all, a real letdown

Sorry to have to leave a negative review, but I was very disappointed (even more so given how you respond to the reviews on here!) But after two hours my food was finally marked as delivered. However, there was no knock at the door or a phone call to let me know my food has arrived. So I don't know how long it had been there for, but it was all stone cold when I went out to check. Also, the curry sauce I paid for wasn't delivered.

Horrible experience！waiting such long time still didn't get food. the takeaway driver should be use uber eat but it seems like they use thier own. no tracking.and also didn't answer call.bad experience！！don't order them. okay now get it.... all throw away… disgusting. put all these together and we didn't order sweet&sour！！！ also where is egg fired rice？？？？？？？？ — just saw this owner put reply to me. Want to laugh sooo loud.. my review make no sense so your food make sense？ look your bad rank and your all the reviews. Being a business should be always try to improve and then can get the costumers always come to you again and again. Also for being a chinese I can ensure your food it's not chinese and also ruin our chinese food. your atitude = your food. Don't want to say good luck to you because you don't deserve. 🙂

Ordered first times I don’t even think they even deserve one star i ordered large salt and pepper chicken wings and chips they gaves yesterday ones watever was left over discosting waste off money

Awful food, took ages to come then the rice was dry, the mixed starter was burnt, cold and the spring rolls were awful! do not recommend at all. avoid!!
