We had a great visit for a family birthday. The staff were friendly and very helpful, plus they made a great effort with the children. The food was good and had a great family atmosphere throughout our visit. Thank you.

I have not been here for a year due to the abusive nature of the current landlord, I have witnessed them speaking to customers in defamatory and unacceptable ways that has put me off visiting ever again

Les and Emma make this pub they are friendly and helpful, the food is amazing and very fast service they have a bouncy castle out for the children and paddling pool when it's hot and a well kept park area plenty of parking staff are lovely music is great highly recommended

Came here for a family members wedding reception party and was honestly lovely! Tables and decor was set out lovely, food was brilliant and the staff service was spot on! The dj music was great and was even karaoke too 🎤 The kids loved the lights and music was such a fun night thanks to you guys at ravo. 😊

Booked out the pub for a meal for quite a few people because it was my birthday & what a shambles it turned out to be. When food was ordered the table numbers were not taken so the staff didn't know where some of the food was going. We ended up having an order just placed on the table for someone who wasn't within our gathering. I had to go out and inform the other customers their food was just placed on one of our tables and left there for them to figure out where their meal was. Can not fault Les & Emma one bit they was really helpful throughout planning and they was really apologetic when I was asked was everything okay and i told them no it wasnt. However some of the other staff seemed quite rude and abrupt. Unfortunately, I won't be making future bookings for large gatherings at this venue.

First time here today for father's day meal 11 of us , food came out all together , it was absolutely gorgeous food , home made ,hot and plenty of it , there's a park for the kids and a bouncy castle ,

Food was amazing but they people around way shouting and very loud but the service was good but not really friendly

Gary Gore is an absolute nightmare always drunk shouting ridiculous stuff. Really scares my children and others I've spoke to. Shouldn't be allowed in he's always causing a stir but is still served alcohol daily

The Landlord and the landlady was really welcoming. I have not been in the pub for a long time .but I will be back .fantastic pint.

Ok, if someone says there drink doesn’t taste right, don’t turn them away and say… the Pepsi max is just fine! And turn them away. Me and my partner were shocked it tasted so strange like a mouldy after taste of some sorts. Hope you’re cleaning your nozzles and bar equipment correctly! I work in a bar and I knew the soda drink that my partner ordered tasted off! I’m glad I don’t live here locally anymore I only came here to visit family. Will not be coming here again. People can be so rude.

Lovely pub, great food lovely staff, can be quite busy, or noisy in an afternoon but still a nice meal out, quick service.

We have been going to the Ravensdale every year for as long as I can remember & have never had an experience as disappointing as this one. Our table was booked at 12.15 for a party of 5 & when we arrived, the staff were still clearing up from the day before, with no tables set. Ok, not a problem. The pub was pretty much empty besides us. We placed our orders & waited about 30-40 minutes for our meals. Fair enough. As soon as we got our meals we noticed something was missing from one of the meals. We had no chilli on the vegan nachos. I went to the bar to inform the lady behind the bar, who told me to inform a younger woman who would sort it. I mentioned it to the other lady who said she would bring some straight out. We continued with our meals & saw the lady bringing out 2 bowls of something & didn't see her go back. 20-25 minutes later we had finished our meals & the original lady from behind the bar came to clear our table. I said that there was no point in bringing the missing chilli out as we had all finished eating & the reply we got was "well, I'm on my own" & she walked off. The way it was said was utterly rude. We had noticed that there was something missing from one of our other meals & another one had garden peas instead of mushy peas, but decided against bothering again after the other never arrived. Less than a minute after she said she was on her own the lady who lives at the pub was there & we also saw the younger lady sat in the bar area eating. She hadn't bothered about the paying customers, who had 3 out of 5 meals wrong, she would rather feed herself. My brother then went to the male toilets & came back with photos of how dirty the gents toilet was, with toilet paper all over the floor & big tubs of cleaning liquid on the floor outside. Being disabled, I went to use the disabled toilet & found mould on top of the taps & a toilet seat that was broken & not attached properly. Luckily I spotted it, but someone else may not be so lucky. There are also photos of that. I have never been to ANY establishment ANYWHERE where the service has been that shambolic, orders haven't been rectified when informed of issues & the staff were that rude.

Very nice meal. Nothing to much bother for whatever you wanted to change on the menu. Will definitely recommend this place and I will be going again. Xx

I do enjoy the food I’ve had but disappointed that I always like a dessert and you have sherry trifle cheesecake on the menu but never have it in I was even able to order it the first time I saw it and pay for it then was told it wasn’t available It wasn’t available today either I suggested that it should be blocked off on the menu to save further disappointment

My son 18 years old took his girlfriend out for her birthday food was great put they left due to arguments and DJ doing some under hand business they felt very uncomfortable

Emma les and Steph are doing an amazing job, the most welcoming atmosphere and all of them are always extremely friendly. They're a credit to this place, and I will definitely be making this my local after the amazing job they have done turning this pub around

I was not impressed. Vaping is aloud inside, on a very bitter cold day regulars was opening the fire doors to smoke outside the doors. Good pub food though.

I’ve been coming in this pub way before Jackie even worked there.. she went from lovely bar lady to absolute high horse kn0bhea. My dog is my everything n in a “dog friendly pub” I don’t expect to be told that I need to take my dog home, because she was panting (ffs like us sweating) n humiliated into leaving alone. Nasty landlady nasty clientele never spend a penny there again!

Went today with family and our food was delicious and the kids loved there food too. It came out hot and the staff were really nice and couldn't do enough for you. I wanted something that wasn't on the menu and they said we can do that for you if that's what you want but I ended up having a curry and it was delicious the nan bread was perfectly done and my poppadoms was nice and crispy and wasn't placed on top of my curry so it went soggy. We will definitely be back for more💯

Love the staff the atmosphere nice drinks and tasty food family friendly they are brilliant.

The was first visit to a Marston Inn. I booked it as a stop off on my way to see family in Scotland. I am definitely not disappointed. The accommodation is of the same quality of a Premier Inn without the added cost. The room I stayed in was a double, great size,fresh feel and inviting. The staff here are very attentive and polite. Kudos to the team here. They clearly take pride in what they do. I will definitely book again.

There was 12 of us booked for a meal and the food was beautiful and lovely and hot.

Came to see Tina turner tribute act,what a lady,she was absolutely fantastic. Totally blown away with how good she was. The bar staff was amazing too,had a right good laugh, glasses was taken away quickly,drinks orders arrived super quick. Really can't thank you all enough for an amazing night. THANK YOU

I absolutely love going to the Ravendale I have Been coming here since I was 3 years old going to the party's discos and Christmas celebrations I am now coming up to 13 years of age and I always come here when we go out for dinner and love drinks outside in the summer I couldn't imagine liking another place as more as I love the ravensdale always a great atmosphere and the staff always make you feel very welcome, the food is very delightful and the staff go out there way to make our stay pleasant and enjoyable definitely a five star place love it
