Good food, decent quantity Had biryani & momos Momos - felt like it could have been slightly more steamed so that the coating might have been even softer Biryani was yummy! Service & atmosphere could have been better! A friendly interaction with a smile would have been overwhelming !!

Had ordered several times delivery and always enjoyed but hadn't in a year. Tonight's dine in meal was simple divine. We ordered lamb malaidar (I always get the malaidar as it's the best I've had compared to other restaurants and this was the best I've had so far). My partner had the chicken tikka masala. The chicken tasted freshly cooked and tender freshly cooked. My daughter had the Paneer butter masala so which had a sweeter an more of a cardamon flavour than the tikka masala but bith delicious. Not a drop of sauce was left. The lemon rice had pieces of fresh lemon through it and again tasted so light and fresh but the coconut rice which of never ordered before was amazing with shredded coconut though it. We also loved the spiced onions (wasn't chock of food colourings and had a lovely balance) and garlic naan.The prices were very reasonable including drinks. We will definitely be eating in again.

Had a great meal on Saturday afternoon. BYOB for £5 corkage. Food was excellent. Both the chicken and chilli mushroom pakora were of the highest quality. Lamb in the curries was superb. Cheese naan also very good. All in all, fantastic food, service and venue. Big bonus for being warm inside too ! Some places I've been to recently don't know what a heater is...

Lovely little unassuming restaurant, with really lovely food and delightful service. A true hidden gem. Good selection of vegetarian options too. I had a dhal with kidney beans and other pulses, it was really delicious. My husband and son were both very happy with their meat based choices to. Would definitely go back.

Delicious vegan and vegetarian food.

The worse Tandoori Mix I have ever had . Cast off bits of chicken wings , a lamb chop that was disguised as Lamb , the other meat tough and inedible , a singular prawn that did not smell at all pleasant . Tasteless and put together I think reheated , not as you would expect properly cooked in a tandoori oven. The Nan and accompanying sauce were fine , but nothing else to redeem it .

My partner and I have always had a positive delivery experience with this place. The food is delicious and never disappoints. We recently decided to dine in with family and the service was very good. The staff are attentive and friendly.

Fantastic food and very friendly atmosphere. The veg momo was spicy and delicious. Goan prawn curry, paneer kadai, laal mass (lamb) all delicious - in fact I can’t fault the food at all. Reasonably priced too.

We had lunch at Raunak Raseeli India after a long sightseeing tour. We were really lucky to find this restaurant as the food was excellent - truly, we haven't had such good Indian food since 2013 when we were staying in India! The only "bad" thing about Raunak is that now we can't go there or order food from there any more, as we are from Germany...

Excellent little restaurant serving authentic and tasty Indian food. A well varied menu with plenty of vegetarian and meaty dishes. Efficient and very friendly service. Reasonable prices and fully licenced. I highly recommend this place. Just minutes walking from Sir George Cross and Great Western Road.

Best Indian in Glasgow! Discovered by accident as it’s quite tucked away, but the food was the nicest - and most authentic - I’ve had in Glasgow. Would highly recommend the veg and fish pakora. I couldn’t stop eating the veg ones - really crispy and a lovely batter - and my boyfriend/parents loved the fish. Ordered the paneer butter masala and it was fantastic. It had a bit of heat to it but was delicious. My parents ordered a chickpea curry (I can’t remember the name!) and it was also amazing, and definitely had some heat to it! And the gulab jamun for dessert was the best dish of the night, really lovely, super sweet dessert. I’ve never had it before but my mum has had it plenty (made by friends/family) and said it was fantastic.

One of the most authentic Indian food I've had in the UK. We had the Kukkad Raseeli (Chicken) and it was the most flavourful chicken dish I've had and took me right back to Dilli! The garlic naan and the dal were amazing too and packed with flavour. Authentic north Indian style restaurant with amazing vibe and staff too. Will definitely revisit to try out the other dishes.

Dined on Friday night with my sister. We ordered a curry each, 2x naans, a rice and chips between the two of us. Portion sizes were great and the food was delicious. Plenty of vegan options for us to enjoy. Staff were attentive and friendly. Would highly recommend!!

So good. Every curry is a banger. Best curry I've had in ages and I've tried a lot. Such a gem. Service is so quick if you collect. Love the haggis pakora too. Owner is very friendly. We have gone several times on consecutive weeks.

We dined at Ranauks on 16 September for a family celebration, there were 20 of us. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meal - not one complaint, brilliant considering we all had a very differing variety of food. Rohit was the perfect host with service second to none. My husband and I have been for dinner on quite a few occasions and absolutely love the food. My brother in law has been eating curries for over 50 years when the first Indian restaurant opened in Gibson street . He reckons Ranauks curries are as good as they were then. We would definitely recommend giving this hidden gem a visit. You won’t regret it!!

Just out of restaurant there good service lady very welcoming but the portions are shocking!! 2 lamb bhoona and 2 chapatis and Rice,£24.30!!! Not good valu at all!!! Sorry

My family and I had the pleasure of dining at Raunak Raseeli India the other night. I love small cosy restaurants and supporting small businesses. This restaurant came highly recommended and it did not disappoint. It’s an authentic Indian restaurant a few minutes from the St George’s Cross underground station. It’s definitely a hidden gem as it’s tucked away just off Maryhill Road and which means its just outside Glasgow’s LEZ zone. We ordered the following: Mango Lassi and Sweet Kewda Lassi Popadoms and spiced onions Fish pakora Chicken Momo's House special curry with spring lamb on the bone House special curry with chicken on the bone Chicken biryani, and the garlic nan Butter chicken with boiled rice Gulab jamun and ice cream Every dish was perfect! Our new favourite Indian restaurant in Glasgow. They do takeaway and delivery too!

I like this restaurant, sat in yesterday and had fish pakora and chicken byrianni . Good service and wonderful food. I have tad takeaways previously which I can also recommend.

Really lovely food, with a full vegan menu which is hugely appreciated. The samosa chaat, momos, smoked aubergine and peshwari naan were highlights of a high quality meal throughout. It's a bit far to travel from London to make it our regular curry house, but if I was from here, It most definitely would be!

Delicious and authentic tasting food in informal surroundings. Kukkad Chicken is on the bone and has a real desi taste. Malai kofta was great too as were the steamed chicken momos. Decent prices too. Will be back.

We had the most beautiful experience at Raunak Raseeli India. The best Indian in Scotland. We are from Australia and have had our fare share of Indian food and this was one of the best. The owner is lovely and the chefs are incredible! We had the Laal Maa, Dal, Lamb Biryani and Cheese Naan and it was all to die for! Couldn’t recommend the restaurant more - clean, beautiful food and lovely service what more could you ask for!

Very good food with less quantity but justified for prize. 1 veggie won't serve 2..., but totally worth it.

Food was absolutely fabulous with a great menu including vegetarian options service lived up to the food and was great nothing was too much trouble only fly in the ointment was an absence of ambiance, ok it was very quiet and we were one of only 3 tables so very quiet. I'm sure that once they become better known this will cease to be an issue, we will definitely be back soon

Best biriyani in Glasgow. Great staff and atmosphere too. Worth a visit

The spot is run by young indian Delhiite name Raunak. He has some Rajasthani cooks to do the job. food was good. Service was quick. Not a very big and fancy restaurant but it’s value for money.

Really surprised this place isn’t busier! The food was fantastic, really flavourful and just the right portion sizes for us. We had 2 curries, haggis pakoras, 1 naan and 1 rice and it was perfect for 2 people.

A fantastic find just 2 stops on the underground from City Centre. Great service, food and value. Forget the Big Boys, small local family places get my vote this year and this is one of the best.

We visited this hidden gem on a sunny evening and sat outside. The food was absolutely beautiful and as a couple who enjoy Indian food this will be a new favourite for us in glasgow. I would particularly recommend the butter chicken, tikka masala and the fish pakora. Everything seemed like it was cooked fresh and served piping hot which we always like. If you are looking for a good curry in Glasgow I would recommend here. It’s easy to get to just near St George’s cross subway station. We will be back!

I recently had the unfortunate opportunity to visit Raunak Raseeli Restaurant, an Indian restaurant that left a lasting negative impression on me as the food is similar to the service they provide . From the moment I entered, it became evident that the hospitality at this establishment was severely lacking, and the experience quickly spiraled downhill. Upon arrival, I was greeted by rude staff who seemed disinterested in providing any form of warm welcome. The lack of courtesy and basic manners was disheartening and immediately set a negative tone for the rest of the visit. The waitstaff was inattentive, neglecting basic service essentials such as refilling water glasses or attending to simple requests. To my utter dismay, the lack of professionalism extended beyond the service. The bald guy of the restaurant, who was present during my visit, displayed a complete disregard for customer satisfaction. Instead of apologizing for the mistakes made, he engaged in heated arguments with disgruntled customers, resorting to vulgar language and non-sensical arguments. This behavior was both unprofessional and disrespectful, leaving me and others appalled by his conduct. Adding to the disappointment was the presence of racist opinions towards India. The derogatory comments made by the bald guy were not only offensive but completely unacceptable. It is disheartening to witness such bigotry in a place that should be promoting cultural appreciation and respect. Perhaps the most frustrating aspect of this experience was his apparent indifference to customer reviews. Rather than acknowledging the shortcomings and working towards improvements, he seemed dismissive and uninterested. This lack of accountability raises concerns about the overall management and commitment to customer satisfaction at Raunak Raseeli Restaurant. Given the terrible hospitality, the use of vulgar language, nonsensical arguments, and the owner's racist opinions towards India, I cannot in good conscience recommend Raunak Raseeli Restaurant to anyone. It is disheartening to witness such a negative experience in what should be a place that celebrates and showcases the rich culture and flavors of India. I sincerely hope that the management of Raunak Raseeli Restaurant takes these criticisms constructively and implements significant changes to rectify the issues. Until then, I advise potential customers to explore alternative dining options where their patronage will be appreciated and respected.

This is my fav Indian take out. The food is consistently of high quality. Very tasty. I usually order the Tarka Dahl and chicken korma, which is outstanding. Tonight, I ordered garlic mushroom poori with buttered roti and a side of spicy onions and raitia. Congratulations Raunak. I'm really impressed. Will be back soon! Chef's and management friendly, courteous and professional. First class. Update : Had out first dine in experience. What can I say! Our party of 6 were very taken care of. Top notch service, the best Indian in Glasgow, We are big fans of this restaurant. Not to be missed. Very reasonably priced and an abundance of dishes to try. All delicious. We'll be back.

The service of this restaurant was absolutely abysmal. A bald man was extremely rude to us. They were rolling eyes at us. They passive aggressively said that ‘I don’t care if you don’t like the service leave right now’. Please avoid this place at all costs.

I had two colleagues over from Germany on their first visit to the UK. It’s traditional that seasoned visitors usually request one of our curries as they are rated as superior to German offerings. My two ‘virgin’ curry colleague loved it so much, they insisted on visiting this restaurant the next evening. I am a curry veteran and this food is amongst the very best that I’ve had. Excellent service too! Highly recommend it. Ps. Visited Glasgow three weeks later with another colleague, stunning👍

I had been to raunak restaurant and ordered food, I dont appreciate manager's behaviour, it was not welcoming and humble. Need to improve their customer service.

Staff were really good and welcoming. But disappointed with food. Ordered chilli chicken bigger portion and the gravy on it is not that days is what we felt. Smells like 2-3 days old gravy pour on top of the chicken pieces and gave it to me. Won’t go again.. hope this review might helpful for the restaurant to correct it.

A wonderful hidden gem in the west end. We can here as a large group and the owner was very accommodating and helpful. Food was gorgeous, 10/10.

First time visiting this hidden gem and wow the food and service was incredible. I absolutely love the tapas style of dining allowing you to try different dishes. I would highly recommend the Chicken Tikka Chasni and Butter Chicken for mains and the fish and chicken pakora for starters. Food is very light and the sauces are bursting with flavour. Highly recommend a visit here.

On an old wet mid week night this place was a sanctuary that delivered more than expectations. There was care and a little bit of love. Crispy papadoms, soft fresh pakoras and paneer (soft pillows of loveliness) that had to be homemade. Every grain of our boiled rice spoke for itself. The Goa fish curry was evocative of a tropical beach. Great freshly made man bread and chapattis completed a good feast. This isn’t fine dining but it is honest tasty food made and served by a team seeking to please.

Came here on the first night of a girls trip to Glasgow and the food was wonderful! So many different options and great for vegans and vegetarians. Our waiter was also really lovely and helped us find a good night out for after our meal. Definitely recommend and if I lived in the area - I’d be eating here all the time!

Had a brilliant meal in this undiscovered gem! Modern but unpretentious Indian cooking, with a great menu of small dishes. The selection of meat and fish dishes is fresh and delicous, and they have a whole vegan friendly menu with great options for veggies/vegans, and allergies are well catered too. Staff were friendly and accommodating and made us feel very welcome. Would defintely recommend and we will be back!

Raunak Raseeli is our favourite place for an Indian in Glasgow. The prawn poori and masala paneer are our personal favourites but all dishes are really tasty and flavourful. The owner has always been very kind to us and given us great suggestions on what to order next. We’ll be recommending this restaurant to all our friends going forward.

Found this place through my daughter and she told me to check it out we did and were not disappointed. I visit India often and this is authentic food Laal Mass from Rajasthan first time I have found it in Glasgow and it was excellent. Check out the Biriyani. Reasonable prices delicious food.
