I'd been looking forward to eating here. Independent and serving the local industrial/retail area. The staff were friendly efficient and business like I ordered "Brunch ". Bacon sausage egg beans chips bread and butter. The cafe was fairly quiet so I anticipated piping hot freshly cooked food. It was the opposite., with the exception of the fried egg. The remainder was luke warm and the bacon rock hard. Such a disappointment. I'm guessing I was just unlucky. Unfortunately in this business every meal has to be pretty well perfect to generate repeat business. I wish the ladies well but won't be visiting again.

I've been going to Rashers for years, always been fantastic. Went last week and we were a bit disappointed to be honest. Just seemed that they had taken their eye off the ball if you know what I mean. Bacon was a bit under done, egg was under done, toast was late, just a bit kind of poor really, well poor compared to what I'm used to anyway. Hopefully it was just a glitch and I was unlucky.

Visited before mammoth shopping day. Excellent location with parking, plus indoor/outside seating. Very popular in this area of town. Great menu choices for breakfast and lunch options. Delivery service which is free for orders over £10. Highly recommend the Breakfast Brunch which includes a hot drink. A cup of tea/coffee is only £1.00 in comparison to the 'costly' coffee shops.

Came here for a full breakfast and wasn’t disappointed! Tea with breakfast was £5.80, the tea was hot, I was able to omit items and have extra of things I wanted, and the dining area was clean. Friendly staff and food cooked in a short time. I thoroughly enjoyed it, and highly recommend. Great value feast!

I ordered the ful breakfast and asked for a Poached Egg they gave me a Fried Egg, so I sent it back, after about five minutes my toast was cold and they gave me my original breakfast back, with what can only be described as a monstrosity of a Poached Egg. The Sausages seemed cheap and the rashers of Bacon where tiny. (Not good, considering the name od the place is Rashers)! I didn't finish it and left dissapointed. :)

I heard that this cafe is under new management and colleagues who had visited were really impressed. I called for breakfast on a Sunday morning and could quickly see they had deserved their good reports. The place was spotless, the service very quick and friendly and the food top notch. Their homemade marmalade worth a mention all on its own! Will definitely go again and will also try a Sunday lunch in the future.

I had a lovely welcome,go this bright and clean cafe. I decided to have the breakfast, not eating eggs, beans or tomato,I usually end up paying for food I don't have. The lady behind the counter (I think she was the owner) said no problem and charged me a lot less. When it arrived,it was very hot and looked tasty. There was bacon, sausages, black pudding & fried bread, toast and a coffee. It was well cooked, with quality ingredients. They also do take outs and deliveries. I'll definitely go back.

I found Rashers pretty easily, located next to Alan Ward. I had a lovely welcome from I think was the owner. I was surprised by how reasonable their menu was, everything from breakfasts, burgers, sandwiches, panini, baked potatoes,as well as chilli & cottage pie. I opted for the full breakfast, but not liking beans, eggs or tomato, I usually miss out. This wasn't a problem she worked out instead of the £5.20,she would charge me less. When arrived, there were 2 bacon & 2 . sausage, black pudding, fried bread,,toast & coffee. It was lovely ,tasty & hot. The cafe was lovely and bright, clean & inviting. The toilets were clean too. They also do take out & deliveries over £10. On Sundays they do roast dinners. All the staff were really friendly & welcoming. I wouldn't hesitate to go back.

Went for the first secret diner club evening that is run by Jess who owns the fab 'not today seitan' in liar liar..what can i say?.the food was on another level. Litrally the best vegan food in Oswestry and way surpasses anything else available in a vegan cafe in Oswestry. The food was beautifully presented, the flavours were amazing and the cocktails were beautiful too. Really hope the owner decides to run these evenings on a regular basis although once word gets around i imagine getting a table will be really difficult. Its great to see a vibrant young business do so well and honestly the co trading with Liar liar is such a brilliant idea. Two amazing businesses running side by side. I cannot recommend this highly enough, the best vegan resturant/cafe in town by far

Honestly the best pub meal I've had in years! The steak and Guinness pie was delicious and chips better than many chippies. How they do that with bargain prices baffles me. Highly recommend

Very very disappointing...we booked for Sunday lunch..big mistake. We were not greeted on arrival, there wasn't even anyone behind the bar for us to let them know we had arrived.... But from there it went downhill....we were put on the smallest table in the furthest corner despite there being lots of much nicer empty tables available..we eventually managed to order drinks and asked to order food..The waitress mumbled something and walked off....a lovely young man delivered our drinks and said the young lady would be back.....when she returned to take our food order we asked what she had said, apparently it was they had lamb....then we tried to order but what she actually meant was they only had lamb nothing else and mostly no veg either...one of our party doesnt eat red meat so lamb wasnt an option but the waitress did nothing to try to help the problem...no offer to check if the kitchen could help.....I really could understand this situation if we were walk ins but we had booked...they knew we were coming....why would you not attempt to provide at least one other choice We drove to Bridgnorth from Shrewsbury to take some family out for a treat and thats the best they could offer....obviously we will not return.
