Rasheeds in Sheffield

For 14 years I've been enjoying Rasheeds food until last night Omg it was watered down tasteless and just horrible..I rang them up to be told "it's a new chef " What a disappointment 😞 Never again

Since the last owner has sold this business it looks like its gone proper down hill Ordered 2 basic currys,a mince madras and chicken bhuna tikka 2 half portions in plastic containers not metal containers i could make better curry at home never again dont waste your money on watered down half portions of tasteless crap.Ive had food from this takeaway for years what a shame to think you can kid people on !!

I have had rasheeds for 20 years I’ve always loved it comes boiling hot garlic naan dripping in oil. To my shock after 20 years my order was different, I had to actually check if I’d ordered from the same place, yes I had so I called the restaurant and said are you under new management which he replied yes am not saying the food was bad because it wasn’t it was a shock all I would say is madras is a little too hot and get the recipe back for the naan breads. I think I’ll try another curry next time because it might actually taste like a balti or bhuna because old rasheeds kinds tasted all the same 🤭

must be under new management and food has gone down hill ap bad wasn't nice at all

not sure if Rasheeds has git new owners , but this was nothing like we usually receive . Despite the order arriving early it was cold . Played hunt the garlic with the garlic naan , gave up as it had barely any garlic . The meat tikka starter was far to spicy and I couldn't eat it ( I do like spicy food , but this wasn't nice ) Usually get 1 tub of yoghurt and 1 tub of onion/ tomato/mint . This time got 2 tubs of yoghurt which contained so much spice it was inedible. The poppadoms spot on .

Ordered for years from here but tonight food was poor more boiled egg than chicken in my CHICKEN tikka also had delivery but if I didn't have a ring doorbell would have been freezing as the driver just put It on my doorstep and walked away lost my custom tonight 😞

I want to say amazing as before this the food was great and we loved rashers however on this occasion I won’t be coming back the curries were not the same really oily and split kurma, popadoms was soggy, chips were oily it was awful!!

Nan breads are nice. Poppadoms like everywhere else. Curry Chicken Tikka marsala ordered, normally from most places a nice creamy spicy sauce from here, full of onions, egg, not a huge amount of chicken, very watery and little flavour. We used to order from here a few years ago and it was always nice however I don't know if new management or cutting costs but food it's not up to standard. I would spend your money else where.

Los panes Nan son buenos. Poppadoms como en todas partes. Curry Chicken Tikka marsala pidió, normalmente de la mayoría de los lugares una buena salsa picante cremosa de aquí, llena de cebollas, huevo, no una gran cantidad de pollo, muy acuosa y poco sabor. Solíamos pedir desde aquí hace unos años y siempre fue agradable, sin embargo no sé si la nueva gestión o reducción de costos, pero la comida no está a la altura. Gastaría tu dinero en otro lugar.

excellent as usual. A bit hotter spicewise than usual but that just made it better. Delivered quickly and piping hot.

Ordered from rasheeds along time now food always lovely and hot when it comes to and always arrives on time this my best Indian place I will not go nowhere else I would highly recommend rasheeds.

Arrived 15 mins late and was cold. Driver apologised , they were very busy and he was the only driver. Other than this the food was nice.

Was little disappointed with the dip it looked off, and onion salad was brown.

Curry was watery like it has been frozen and did not taste of anything. Poor food quality.

we've had a few orders from here over the last few weeks and almost everything has been really nice. It's always arrived quickly and delivered by a cheerful and friendly driver. The food has all been tasty and hot. There wasn't even anything wrong with the one item we weren't keen on, it just wasn't to our taste and you can't blame the restaurant for that. We will definitely be ordering again.

No vaya a menos que desee que su comida fría y orden incorrecta. las últimas 3 veces han sido frías y orden incorrecta y entregado muy tarde. No vale la pena malgastar tu dinero. Tan hambriento y en la cama. No feliz.

The last 3 times I've order has been shocking. First was a hour late. Second was late and wrong order . Today late again and order is wrong. No sorry reply was we are busy and stuck in traffic .

We have ordered from this restaurant for many years both direct to them and on just eat, the last 2 times of ordering the delivery has been late, on this particular occasion it was 55 minutes late. The food was lovely when it arrived however 1 member of our party unfortunately was unable to eat due to the late delivery. We will order from here again as we love the food however we will probably opt to collect (not our preferred option)

the meat tikka starter and the chicken tikka starter were both fresh and tasty. however 1 of the poppadoms tasted strange / stale

I have ordered from yourselves so many times and the food is usually excellent however this time the kebab was awful the bread wasn’t as good as usually is and the kebab meat was like old scrag ends. I would like a refund

Order from here quite often but after the service tonight, won't be doing again.. Chips cold missing naan, phoned for help and got arrogance!

Food had no flavour whatsoever so bland

Chips were hard basically scraps, lettuce were days olds (brown) Donnor meat again hard must have been last weeks batch onion bhaji flat as a pancake and flavour less and the garlic naan bread tasted like a plain one ( non garlic bread)

Food is always spot on. Best onion bhajis I've had for years and owner always willing to chat. Tandoori mixed grill a bargain at £8.50. Best kebab meat for miles. Can't fault the food at all.

Didn’t get our order in the estimated delivery time. Rang the restaurant to get an update and told us they was running late and waiting for drivers and told us it hadn’t been cooked so we didn’t have to worry about it been cold. We eventually

really depends on the night. Weekdays are great, the foods lovely and is always warm. Weekends however…. Really not great. Today the Popadom was like an orange colour and really bendy, the naan was burnt and the food was quite cold. So maybe avoid on a weekend. Its my favourite Indian to go to on a weekday :)

Really nice food and arrived only 5min after the delivery window so I didn't mark it as late. Driver apologised for forgetting to follow delivery instructions but not a problem. 1st time ordering from here, will do so again.

starters were cold and no poppadoms delivered so waste of the pickle tray mains were hot and tasty but bit of a disappointment for the onion bargi and kebabs

Order arrived 2hours 30 min late. Tried ringing the shop 3 times they were very rude and put the phone down on us. When we did get it it was cold rubbish.

Shocking!! Order arrived 1hour an 20mins after it was flagged as delivered!! No answer on phone and food was cold, must be new chef or management cus the chef’s special was just a normal curry and very bland, ended up throwing it away and the Nans were like cardboard, sorry but after years of eating from here I will be looking elsewhere and telling everyone to do the same

Order hasn’t been delivered yet it states on the order it’s has been delivered. Order was due 2045-2105 it is currently 2230 and not arrived

decided to try this place and never again. The woman on the phone kept asking me to repeat myself, and even then she got my order totally wrong. The food came looking very much "kill your appetite vibe" it was awful presentation, asked for salad and like i said she got the order wrong. The curry was awful even when i asked them to cook it correctly and not like raw onions and spices in a bowl of water. I'm surprised this place is still open. Waste of money! wont be coming here again in a hurry.

All the food arrived cold. Poppadoms soggy and not crispy there was about six small pieces of chicken in the madras. The weekend takeaway I look forward to the most and this was horrendous the ones we have had previously have been ok but not the best. Won’t be going back again. Rasheeds has gone down hill big time. I’ve requested a refund I and I want the full refund.

just been and got my special mixed kebab ,omg the kebab was yesterdays dry and hard ,you could not eat it .and got a chicken vindaloo its was dark brown not hot ,what is happening to the food , this as all gone in the bin .will never buy from you ever again

Ordered through the Rasheeds own app for the meal to be delivered just after 6pm this was done in the morning at 18.04 we received an email to say order been cancelled. Called Rasheeds wanting an explanation was told app down so how come order went through in morning guy on phone very rude put phone down on me then when I called back accused me of putting phone down on him. Had to order over phone no apology. Have in past been charged more than what it states on order receipt on bag. Been using Rasheeds for 25 years won't use again.

The food was not up to standard this time. The onion bhaji was bland. The curry was ok. The nan bread was folded inside a brown paper bag - not wrapped in foil to keep it warm. I was extremely disappointed.

Absolutely fantastic Ruby delicious had prawn kurma and chicken bhuna both delicious! Mushroom rice spot on! And chapatis lovely! Definitely ordering again and certainly best curry me and our lass have had in a long time good value to can't fault this place with anything 10 outa 10

“Do u want your food or not?” Is what the owner of restaurant says on phone call when i said that the delivery guy is far from my home and can u ask him to come to my proper address. Why do u think that you can talk to your customers like that?Rasheeds for me from now on is past/forbidden.And yeah the answer to your question is i dont want your food from now on coz one who can respect others especially customers i dont wanna say anything else.

Sauce had spilled out of tray all over bag and other food, nann was soggy because of this. The remaining food was very bland and tasted old. In future if my regular Indian takeaway isn’t open I think I’d be better off having toast
