Food is excellent, and good atmosphere but be careful when you pay, our bill was £24.95 per person and they charged me £62 for two. They basically overcharged me by £12. I had opted to not pay tip because they kicked us out as they only allow you to stay there 90 minutes because of train delays we were 20 min late in the beginning .

Great dinner at Rasa. We shared all dishes between the table - the mango curry in particular was a delicious surprise as part of the vegan feast. Since it comes with starters, mains and dessert, the feast is an amazing value for money option! Parking on a nearby road was absolutely fine in the evening.

Great food, Although as a family we are not full time vegetarians, i prefer food without the addition of poor quality meat particularly the MRM chicken that is prevalent in many restaurants. Rasa was Excellent value with so much flavour, across lots of shared dishes, I think Rasas has been doing the now fashionable small plates style of service for years but with out the hefty price tag

Despite having a reservation, I had to wait more than 25 minutes with no communication from the staff about the delay. The management seemed clueless, showing a complete lack of organization and attention to the customers. When the food finally arrived, it was below average—definitely not worth the wait. On top of that, the service was extremely poor. There was no attentiveness from the staff, and the overall atmosphere felt disorganized and frustrating

Very good South Indian vegetarian and vegan food. Some dishes are unnecessarily vegetarian instead of vegan because they use butter ghee instead of vegetable ghee or oil. Their parathas were amazing but are no longer vegan, which is a shame. The acoustics aren't great. It can get very noisy, especially if there's a group. Nonetheless, the place is good value for money.

Train your staff some table etiquette!!! We were a group of 7 work colleagues and our Keralan experience ended on a sour note. Wish the staff had been trained for some table etiquette. Just as we sat down, in matter of 10 minutes, the guy serving us came thrice asking for drinks.. I mean let us settle down a bit! Then while placing the order for mains, I started with breads because that page was open on menu for me, but the guy insisted to start with “Dosa, then mains, then breads”. And when I stopped, he goes, “ this is it” ! One of those restaurants which want you to order more, glad I didn’t budge and we ordered enough food which we were able to finish happily. They seemed to be in a great rush to serve and make us leave. The same guy, came to clear the table and one of my colleagues who hadn’t finished yet, picked up her plate as well, she asked him twice to leave it. Worst was at the end was he cleared the table and without asking us for desserts put the bill on table. That’s when I spoke to the other staff member who was not at all apologetic about the whole experience and pointed out that the table was reserved only for an hour and 30mins which we weren’t aware of. He insisted that it’s given when we book but the colleague who booked didn’t see it and we could have been informed when we sat down. The server then very rudely picked up the bill and said will get the desserts menu now which obviously we declined. I am rating Rasa for their starters and Rasam, masala and chilly onion rawa dosa, appam & parotha. Curries weren’t that great and didn’t give me a true Keralan experience.

I love Rasa! The food is always so delicious and there are so many options, which for a vegan is usually not the case. It was extremely busy when we visited and they asked for the table back after just an hour but luckily we were finished. I am obsessed with the masala dosa and order it every time I dine in. I've ordered it once for delivery but it doesn't travel too well and was soggy so it's a big reason to visit in person. The staff are lovely and the music was great!

All we had felt like hospital food, plain with no soul, quite the opposite of southern Indian cuisine. Interesting and tasty mix of authentic southern Indian vegitarian dishes & breads. The only negative was it felt rushed, although we had pre-booked a table we were presented with the bill before deserts had been served, followed by the card machine to pay while still eating, so exactly 90mins from sitting to leaving. If we were told this in advance it would have helped. So great food, but please can we have time to eat it.

Great for vegans, super yummy food but a little bit rushed. We booked in advance and were seated at 5.30pm on a Saturday and they needed our table for the next customers at 7.30pm. 2 hours. I guess that's all we can hope for in this "time is money" city. Just slightly confusing because it was an unusually quiet evening in there and there were a lot of tables empty when they required us to leave. Felt a bit more like being in central London than little ol' Stokey. The food is fabulous so it's nice to take your time if possible and enjoy the experience. I'd recommend booking for their second sitting at 7.30pm so that you can relax a little bit longer if you want.

This is the second time I have come here and it's happened every time. This shouldn't happen if you have a booking system and they're obviously over booking their capacity. The seating is very cramped, you are literally sitting on the same table with other people. The dosas are very overpriced for what they are, a thin layer of bread and potato... £10!?!? I ordered a paneer spinach curry and it only had 3 tiny tiny pieces of paneer in it l. I could have honestly cooked better at home honestly. Come on. They also seem under staffed because I had to order or ask everything twice! Unfortunately won't be going again.

They advertise a ‘Buffet Night’ in a poster on the door. Didn’t even get through the door when a very rude man (the owner?) told me “it’s finished…a long time ago”. I suggested they should take the poster down then, which he started to do. Went round the corner and had a nice curry at the Lavan’s Spice. As I walked back passed on my way home the poster was back in the window! They are openly LYING to customers advertising a buffet night they don’t actually do! AVOID!!!

Ordered via ubereats. Got food home, Lamb Rogan... NO Lamb. Chicken Madras.. THREE pieces of chicken and 2 lumps of potato. The dips were nothing more than a thimble full. 4 popadums two of which were that stale you could bend them into 4 WITHOUT breaking them. Rang ubereats and was given a paltry £3.42 refund. Rang the restaurant and was called a liar being told there was 8 pieces of chicken (see for yourself) Manager never called back despite being told he would. The only decent thing was the rice and the raita. Don't waste your money 8 quid for a curry sauce and 7 quid for half portion of Madras.

I had a blood merry for 7£ but it worthless. It should cost £2.because of the amount of tomato juice and ice, I really regret to order something that should be great and nice to drink but it was too expensive for the 100 ml of tomato tomato juice
