Load of abuse from take away!!! Worst service and food I've had for a long time!!! Food cold, asked for NO cheese on garlic bread was sent cheese, no salad with kebab!!!

Got a takeaway the man at the door waited for me to open the door the cheesy chips are okay but the pizza is chared.

Highly rude unprofessional guys. I ordered pizza with garlic sauce. They completly changed my order used bbq sauce and burnt chicken. I ordered 7up and I was sent pepsi. I called the restaurant to complain, the guy hungup on me by saying we cannt help you.

Had delicious meals in the past , last night it was so greasy,oil was just dripping out of the bag. Wasn’t very nice

Do you like your chicken under cooked and pink in the middle? If so order from here. Do you like going to ask for a refund on your food because its straight salmonella and get told no your banned from the shop and to never return? If yes try this place. I have no idea how they are still open if they are charging over £20 for a wrap and chicken wings and can't even cook them properly. Mongs

I recently had an extremely unpleasant experience with King Sharma's delivery service, which I feel compelled to bring to your attention. The incident unfolded during my attempt to order a chicken pizza and fries. The delivery was significantly delayed, taking about an hour, and upon arrival, the food was disappointingly cold. The delivery driver seemed lost and had difficulty finding my location. In my attempt to address the issue, I called King Sharma to explain the situation. Unfortunately, the response was dismissive and unhelpful. When expressing my concerns to what I believe was the manager, he displayed a lack of professionalism and understanding. Instead of addressing the issue, he asserted that he hung up on me during the call. The customer service provided was subpar, and my attempt to discuss the matter with the manager was met with impatience and indifference. I find it regrettable that the quality of service did not match the potential of the food, as I had only managed to consume two bites of the pizza due to its cold state. I hope this feedback aids in addressing the need for improved customer service and food delivery standards.

That was the most disgusting experience in my life . Food could be really nice but it was cold and so much . Waiting for delivery about 1 h . When I get it it was cold and driver didn’t know where he is . He explained he was looking for my house forever. Couldn’t understand anything else cuz his English wasn’t good . I called to king sharma and I explained what happened and they didn’t believe me and hang up on me . Tried again no answer . Went to shop and explained situation they ask me if I want my order remade or money … I said money . I said I need to talk to management but they said he is not here . After 5!sec some man come to me and I said just one min cuz I don’t want to talk if front of other people . He with anger said ok come here . I started explaining him situation and he said I hang up on u ! I said why ? He said I had customers and I do . I said is 3 of. He look around and ( I think that was the moment that he realised he is not alone!) he started to says u want ur order or no! I said I been already refunded but I want you to make understand that is not ok . All he said he got no time and won’t be talking about 1 wrap and left . Customer service is bad . I had 2 bites of that wrap and I have to admit that it would be amazing if it would be just warm . Feel sorry for his employees .

Made order online at 9:12pm supposed to be delivered at 10pm by 10:30pm rang around 5 times no answer so went onto website clicked help and where's my order then 5-10 mins later responded running late delivery by 11pm finally came 11:15pm! Food cold, bland no salad or dip very disappointed will never order from here again

The Price to food ratio was insanely amazing wait times not too bad I had to wait 20 mins for what i ordered but I did go in as soon as they opened so that's on my part Great food would highly recommend.

Very good food, here on a visit from the Midlands "The Home of the Kebab" and it's been a while since I had a good chicken shish! Very tasty, garlic sauce was nice too. I walked around town for 2 hours looking for somewhere and I'm glad I chose this place on the way back. They do only take cash, but gents were happy to direct me to nearest cash point! Thanks guys

We stopped here whilst out on the motorbike . It was pouring down with rain so we popped in for a pizza . The owner was a diamond of a guy who also turned out to be a biker . The pizza was also great 👍

Had Chicken Shawarma was on point but the lamb shawarma could have been better as the meat was a lot dryer than I expected.

DISGUSTING!!!! APPALLING SERVICE WRONG PRODUCTS DELIVERED IN poor packaging FOOD DIRTY PACKAGING BROKEN POOR DELIVERY. Salad was out of date clearly by the pictures, kabab was dry and hard.

We order food at 840 and only got 10.30pm we Refused to pay after almost 2 hours waiting for delivery and now my daughter going to have to have something else to now she only 5 and she up later then her bed time and it’s not the 1 st they and sometimes food is cold as well will not be going back any time soon

Ordered the food and waited 2 hours before ringing the shop, rang 9 times in total and didn’t get through once so we presumed it was never coming, made other food arrangements and then it turns up… 3 hours late. Don’t waste your time.

Awful service. Over 2 hours wait for no food to turn up for them to say it was left on the doorstep and then hung up when I tried to state it never arrived.

Was staying near Carlisle for a boys holiday. 10 of us visited 1 night and ordered food. Service was great and food was amazing. Shawarmas are massive and definitely gets your money's worth. Pizza are delicious with a brilliant pizza base. We went back again the next night. Will definitely recommend if in Carlisle for quality food.

First of all online menu has different prices and in shop charged me extra saying the prices have changed and not been updated online. Bought chicken Fataya and some curly chips for 16 bloody pounds, as I had preciously tried at another restaurant and sadly was the worst decision ever as it just tasted so bad had to chuck it out and stuffed myself on the curly fries !!!

Food was late by 45 mins and wrong they claim to be the best burger in Carlisle.... WRONG it wasn't good. Sick straight after it complained then sent another burger and that took another 1.5 hours. So 3 hours for less than average food.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS! SENT TOTALLY WRONG ORDER, RANG BACK AND ASKED FOR OUR ORIGINAL ORDER AS WE HAD PAID ON JUST EAT, THEY SAID THEY WOULD SENT IT OUT STRAIGHT AWAY…. NOTHING TURNED UP AND THEY IGNORED OUR NUMBER WHEN WE RANG!!!!!!!!!

Haven’t ordered here in a while but use to be good. Very disappointed tonight chicken shawarma that cost £9 consisted of a tiny pitta and a few cubes of chicken , salad was also not fresh . Got two chicken wraps that cost £6.50 and there was more in them than my whole meal . It was late that does not usually bother me if food is good but was not worth the Wait for Luke warm overpriced food.

After having traveled to carlisle over 2 and half hours and saving ourselves for an evening takeout we went to king shawarma given that it had good revieiws. Upon entering the shop had a very off puting smell.But reading the reviews we had high hopes.Having spent just under £50 we were VERY DISAPOINTESD.that smell in the shop turned out to be the shawarma chicken.Having paid over £11-£12 the on a mix kebab the one thing me and the kid could eat was just the donner meat.90% of all 5 meals we purchased ended up in the bin.Nice chap but honestly really gutted we paid so much.I really wouldnt suggest ordering from here.The food smells and tastes awful.Dont waste your money

Ordered mixes kebab (which apparently only contains 2 kinds of meat, donner and chicken). Donner was burned. Chicken was the brown bits you'd pick off a carcass (see pics). Pot of sauce was swollen up like it was really off. Didn't dare open it. The salad was brown. This arrived late on, by time we opened it the website said they were closed. So we kept the food and took it back next day. The extremely condescending woman on the front had to phone the boss. We got blamed for not phoning the night before even though the place was meant to be closed. And they refused a refund of the uneaten rubbish. Even our dog wouldn't eat the nicer looking bits of chicken (see pics).

Ordered the mixed kebab and chips. The chicken kebab was very chewy. The lamb kebab was okay. Just about eatable.

Best takeaway by a long way. Staff are friendly, food is incredible. Highly recommended.

I can’t recommend this takeaway enough! Their saffron chicken grill is so lush & presented in a freshly made naan bread cooked in the traditional way with authentic garlic sauce (not Mayo). My husband also likes their burgers & the fatayer is the most authentic Lebanese one I’ve tried this side of Europe.

Ordered food and waiting time was 1h20min food came fridge cold send it back. Very poor delivery service awaiting time ove 1h and been told 30min

I got a mixed kebab it consisted of 1 skewer of chicken and 1 skewer of lamb , the salad was minimum and I was charged £10.50 , when I checked their menu on line later that night a mixed kebab was priced at £9.. also they had a sign in the shop saying cash only so you have to ask yourself how much is not being declared . Won’t be returning as the kebab was well over priced and I’ve had much better kebabs elsewhere for under £7

Honestly if i didnt love ure food i wouldnt order again. Last 2 orders have been late. Ordered extra sauce this time and paid for it as no sauce recieved last time. Still didnt get sauce. Freezing cold food. Still tasty heated up. Sort it out guys. Also miserable delivery guy.

Ordered chicken shawarma kebab with chips.. was awful. Didnt expect everything to be thrown in same box and mixed together like a dogs dinner.... . chicken salad chips and smothered in garlic sauce... no naan or pitta bread included although should have been part of order... was awful. Bin enjoyed it. Maybe you should have more info on your menu as to how items are served!! Had I know i definitely wouldn't have ordered...

Came to Carlisle for the night . Smelt this when we arrived and got a kebab later was the best ive ever eaten I want another one but portion was massive and couldn't fit it in . Will return tomorrow

This take away made our tour worthy. Enormous portions and fantastic costumer care above all the taste is top of the list. Highly recommend

First time in here, asked the staff to recommend something for us and we were not disappointed. Absolutely delicious food, you can tell a lot of time and effort goes into the meals. Naan is cooked fresh in front of you and the place is spotlessly clean. Staff are lovely. Can’t fault it at all and will definitely be returning :) thank you!

By far the best takeaway in Carlisle with exceptional customer service and quality of food. I haven’t experienced a shawarma/kebab as good as that since I was in Paris. The chicken was very succulent and the bread was cooked to perfection. The only place I will go for food in Carlisle for the foreseeable future.

We order from here this evening for the first time and honestly it will be the last. Absolutely disgusting. We waited over an hour and a half for 2 portions of fries and a garlic bread. When we tried contacting them they have disconnected the phone so couldnt get through. Food finally arrived for the fries to be stone cold with a funny smell and tasted from being sat in the cardboard box. Garlic bread also stone cold and like cardboard. Absolutely avoid this place there are plenty nicer takeaways in carlisle than this.

I don't usually do reviews. But here goes. I've ordered from ranya a few times. Earlier when they first arrived they were OK. Then came the new owner. Rude and disgusting attitude. Said I'm fussy about ribs. This has happened beforeIf u like burnt ribs cardboard bread. Then this is your place. Owner didn't wanna know. Said thats how he serves ribs..BURNT!. Being a chef myself I could teach you a thing or 2

Never again! Don't usually complain, but if your food turns up late cold and burnt would you eat it or return It? Happened once before. Ordered for the kids and found ribs burnt to the bone. Complained and took it back. Boss man said sorry. 2 months later ordered again this time same thing took it back and said I'm fussy and that's how they serve ribs...BURNT. IF I WAS FUSSY I would have brought everything back. If your serving burnt food and cold bread like cardboard. I'm sure people will be fussy and complain. Told me not to order again. GLADLY. Being a chef myself I could teach him a few things...but that would make me fussy

Bread was nice as it was freshly made. Doner was very thick and quite 'wedgey' but tasted good two days later! Chicken shwarma was a bit weird and I did find some UFOs in the food! Overall can't complain in that I found some halal food in the middle of nowhere on my way up to Scotland.

Avoid - took 2 hrs & 40 mins to be delivered. I rang after 1 hr of waiting & they said on it's way. When it finally arrived 1/3 of my order was missing. Chicken wings were still pink with blood on them. Other dish was burnt with a hair in it. Emailed Foodhub to complain & they replied to say Manager would call me. He did & apologised saying he had just taken over management & gave me his mobile no. to get a free order out of goodwill. Called a few times. 2nd time he answered, when I said who I was he said will call back in 10 mins & put the phone down on me & never answered after that. Complained to food hub to be told will get a refund & then 3 mins later another email to say Manager refusing. Don't waste your money!!!

Done with this place. Foods gone downhill and 50 percent of the time I order from here there’s a problem. Tonight’s was 45 minutes late, undercooked chips, a hair and a bone in the food, a thimblefull of hot sauce. They’ve changed the lamb shawarma to horrible donner meat. not got our order correct (wanted 2 sauce and extra salad, ignored) Tepid food and dry chicken. Bad news when the bread was the best thing. Gutted. Food used to be amazing when they first opened.

Proper Persian / Turkish charcoal-cooked kebabs like you get in London etc. Good quality meat cooked to order and with skill over an indoor charcoal grill - you have to wait 10-15 minutes for your order as it is cooked fresh. Served with properly cooked naan done in a tandoor to order. Served with salad and pickled chillis. I had the kofta (minced lamb) skewers which were excellent. 50% more expensive than other local kebab joints but ten times better. Halal. Pleasant service. Somewhat erratic opening times.
