1 hour and 20 mins on a Wednesday for a Shawarma is a joke

Ordered before and normally very good. However food was cold and items missing, not the best this time

food was great, but I don't appreciate the delivery been marked as done when you're going to deliver it 30 minutes late

Ordered two different warps and two different chips as sides. One portion of chips was under the all the food that was the supposed to be a chicken wrap but served in a box open and loose. The other portion of chips also came with a whole tubs worth of grated cheese for some reason and was cold and over cooked and dry… such a shame because the first time ordering was perfect and this was a huge let down.

Loads of great food for the price

Whenever we order from here the food is always late and cold, when we call the restaurant to check for a delivery update they have nothing to say only that it’s 5 mins away every time .

we allways buy takeaway from them it is allways very fresh, 5 star customer service owner and their staff everyone is very polite and very clean.

Normally really enjoy the food from here but that was awful this time hope this isn’t kept up

we order from here regularly for last 2 years and always order the same ckn shwarma with chips in a box. Today we got horrible chips,soggy ,brown not nice and big pieces of chicken. 1 month ago it was shredded chkn shwarma and nice perfect chips so I don't know if it's new ownership/cutting back or what but all I know is that's the last one for us, cost cutting loses customers.

awful amount of salad , not much chicken a flat bread was a really cheap poor quality. thanks for your time but I will never order again .... sorry not sorry

It just didn’t arrive. And they didn’t answer the phone when I rang them.

I have bought in so many customers to this shop and this is what I get. These bottles expired in 2023! Was promised a refund on my next visit but they said it's not their fault and never got it. So they gave me out of date bottles of coke and it's not their fault? Never going back here again.

I ordered a lamb shawarma wrap and the lamb was perfectly cooked and tender.

Food was cold as always and bread was not cooked properly

Food was oily , meat wasn’t cooked fully and had more of fat

Said 30-50 minutes for delivery time when ordered, then gave a delivery time of an hour and a half, rang after an hour and 45 for them to say it was just cooking now, waited for over 2 hours to get the food and the pizza was burnt.

Amazing food great value for money

Wrong drinks sent. We ordered 2 diet cokes but received 2 doctor pepper. My kids were not happy.

Pizzas and fries were up to par but garlic bread was just cheese no garlic. Usually better.

Absolutely disgusting, food was stone cold and greasy. There was hardly any chicken in the kebab and the chicken that was in there was slimy. Salad consisted of big thick lumps of onion and cabbage. The chips were cold and greasy. I will not be wasting my money ordering from there again. Do not waste your money!!

My hubby just got chicken wrap from hear it was absolutely delicious great value thankyou be back for more .

Only one fault was not giving me a receipt, large portions, hot and tasty

the meet has been full of fat , I couldn't eat it and had to though it out , a waste of money .

Saying it has been delivered and it hasn’t tried to contact the place and there not answering won’t be ordering from here again.

Food arrived late, stone cold, burnt and wrong items sent. Have on suggestion for anyone thinking of ordering, don’t save your money and order from somewhere else.

Delivery took 2 hours, tried to call them at least 10 times with no answer. The food would actually have been nice but it was cold by the time it arrived which was a shame as we were looking for somewhere new to order kebabs from!

I am a bit shocked to be fair at what I have just been served and judging by the reviews it's not the first time this has happened either. I order a king special kebab which looked great until I took the top off the garlic mayo (see attached picture) it is mouldy and actually smells like cheese it is so off, how long has this been sitting around in your fridge? I will be keeping everything for the food hygiene people to inspect as this is an absolute joke. Ill be amazed if this doesn't make me ill.

Was nice just the Kerbab was mixed in altogether, the pitta bread was soggy because all the meat and salad and sauce was sat on top. I prefer everything separate, especially sauce as there was to much.

Best pizza we have tried so far in Carlisle…four cheese was exceptional! Had similar pizzas in London! Meal deal was excellent value for money and very tasty. Will definitely be returning 😄😄

Mint food just not enough lamb in the raps

The donor wrap was lovely but we ordered cheese chips they look lovely and plenty on them but the mozzarella on them was contaminated with some kind of perfume, spray kind of thing what spoiled the full thing all we could taste was an awful taste

The food is very delicious and the staff are very friendly and respectful. They do not promise any malfunction or anything that might disturb the customers. I wish you success. I will definitely come back. Thank you.

The burger had no sauce in it and the bun was hard around all the edges. The chips were cold when it came and the wrap was really soggy and kept ripping with how soggy it was and it fell apart. I am not impressed. I’ve spent a decent amount of money on food and I’m very disappointed. I won’t be back!

Orderd can of coke and pizza The pizza was disgusting and I found a long hair init 🤢 coke was warm also never again !!!

Absolute Filth Thought i’d try this place as sample of what’s to come. Every other restaurant will be halal soon, and it’s to please the change in demographic being forced upon us. So I thought i’d try it as Shawarmas are very tasty when i’ve had them abroad on holiday. This was not a nice place and the food was among the worst i’ve ever had. If you want third world filth then i highly recommend this place for that, if it’s nice food you’re after from a clean and pleasant establishment then wide birth this pit at all cost.

Left a bad review last time but gave them another chance and this time it was really good. plenty of fresh salad on top of the kebabs and plenty of sauce. The fries are always good from here.

Got myself a Chicken Shawarma kebab the other day. Was off put that most of their prices weren't listed on the menu. Aside from that though I really enjoyed the meal and watching the fella cut a huge pile of chicken fresh off the donner. Was seasoned to my liking, maybe a little too salty though. Just what you'd expect from a takeaway though. I'd go back. Service wasn't especially friendly, just straight forward. Seems nice there is at least one proper halal kebab spot for the Muslim community.

Fantastic Chicken Shaorma!! Good service and quality meat from local supplier. Highly recommend.

Food was top draw as always. Literally the best takeaway in carlisle. On this occasion delivery was slightly late but the driver was extremely apologetic and explained they had been really busy.

Chicken was fully raw! Called the restaurant and was verbally abused by them regarding by order. Refused a refund and was told to order elsewhere!

Pizza base was undercooked and the topping was no better! Wrap was foul and not even edible! They even failed on the microwaved cheese sticks! Meal was utter foul!!! Never going to order again!

Highly rude unprofessional guys. I ordered pizza with garlic sauce. They completly changed my order used bbq sauce and burnt chicken. I ordered 7up and I was sent pepsi. I called the restaurant to complain, the guy hungup on me by saying we cannt help you.

Scheduled an order at 6ish for 8:30, seems like they forgot. Got the order at 9:20, which is frustrating but would have been fine if the food was mint, but it was cold. Sad it wasn’t consistent with our last order as that was amazing. Garlic bread didn’t taste garlicky at all (but last time it was amazing). Wrap was lukewarm but still really good.

this was not the first time either, once I waited for 3 hours. just not good enough

waited 1 hour 40 minutes for delivery and Donner kebab came with no sauce or salad and pizza boxes had loads of grease coming through! Phoned up about no sauce and salad and they hung up before telling me how much longer it would be. 40 minutes later I got sauce and salad and the lettuce in the salad was brown! Had a kebab from here quite a few times before and normally it's quite good but this was ridiculous and had looked forward to it all week! So basically 2 hours 20 mins to get everything!

Do you like your chicken under cooked and pink in the middle? If so order from here. Do you like going to ask for a refund on your food because its straight salmonella and get told no your banned from the shop and to never return? If yes try this place. I have no idea how they are still open if they are charging over £20 for a wrap and chicken wings and can't even cook them properly. Mongs

Ordered at 4.47 and it arrived at 6.24. I ordered a chicken kebab with salad and mayonnaise but thought the salad and mayonnaise would be separate and not thrown on top of the kebab. Cans of Coke were warm after being on top of warm food. The food was nice but remind me not to order when hungry.

Food hasn't been delivered, tried ringing the restaurant 37 times. Just eat don't have any option to redeem this on there website which is helpful, get my money put back in my account or I'm coming into the shop tomorrow and you can give me it in cash

I recently had an extremely unpleasant experience with King Sharma's delivery service, which I feel compelled to bring to your attention. The incident unfolded during my attempt to order a chicken pizza and fries. The delivery was significantly delayed, taking about an hour, and upon arrival, the food was disappointingly cold. The delivery driver seemed lost and had difficulty finding my location. In my attempt to address the issue, I called King Sharma to explain the situation. Unfortunately, the response was dismissive and unhelpful. When expressing my concerns to what I believe was the manager, he displayed a lack of professionalism and understanding. Instead of addressing the issue, he asserted that he hung up on me during the call. The customer service provided was subpar, and my attempt to discuss the matter with the manager was met with impatience and indifference. I find it regrettable that the quality of service did not match the potential of the food, as I had only managed to consume two bites of the pizza due to its cold state. I hope this feedback aids in addressing the need for improved customer service and food delivery standards.
