We have ordered from Ranna for over a year. Consistently great food - highly recommend the garlic chilli curry. Speedy delivery as well.

Turned up with beer for a curry like we used to and had to leave without ordering, so visitors beware. Weird choice, as they don't sell it either.

Ate here (via delivery) recently and it was really awful. The tandoori chicken was tough with no flavour at all, the peshwari naan was cold, he saag paneer was okay (but I've had much better). The food also made us ill. I qant a refund!

Very tasty experience, filled with amazing spices and flavours. The staff was really patient and helpful (I don't have much knowledge on Indian cusine). Food was fresh and quickly prepared and the place was really clean. Very tasty visit!

Great service, prompt delivery (ordered at 6:45pm on a Saturday- so perhaps not the busiest time of the night, arrived by 7:15pm). Curries were flavourful, not excessively oily and hot (no need for a microwave reheat). Would order from here again.

No idea what the bad reviews are on about, I’ve been to the place several times for my phall and it’s always excellent. The preparation is speedy, the service polite, and I can only praise the restaurant for having great food at affordable prices, efficient cooks and very courteous front-of-house. If you want to get quality Indian in the area, Ranna is your go-to place. Listen to me, not the negative reviews and you will not be disappointed.

I have ordered from this place a few times by now. Food is ok, not excellent but not bad either, premises look clean enough (including kitchen which can be partially seen from the seating/waiting area of the restaurant) and I have never had any stomach problem. The menu is varied enough with many vegetarian and even vegan/ quorn item. They publish an allergen menu online making it stand out from many other ordinary take away Indian restaurants in the area as this is something you would expect only in proper sit down expensive restaurants. On the cross-contamination and the cooks awareness of what publishing allergens means and the responsibility of not mixing up pots and pans, I can’t say much but I am not sure I would fully trust them given how the kitchen seems a bit disorganised. For serious allergies I would definitely talk to them beforehand. On the price, I find the food slightly overpriced, with an average of £25/£30 spent on takeaway for two people (2 mains, 2 sides, couple of breads and one rice to share, no drinks). If not the price going down, maybe they could consider slightly more generous sizes of meals so not to have order sides? The main issue however is with the timing. Over an hour for deliveries and half an hour for pick ups are not ok timings for a take away. The kitchen seem to be too disorganised as if they had hundreds of customers, in fact I even got a different main from what I ordered last time and realised only when I got home. On the 25% discount for new customers, this is only for phone orders, but who does that nowadays? Better not to do any incentive if it cannot be applied to online orders which is what everyone does these days, otherwise you run the risk of people thinking it’s a sham you only do for publicity.

5 people had take away. It took an hour - do not know if that is a long time in London. But it was very tasty and there was plenty of it. Great food.

Even the 25%off offer doesn't sweeten the deal with the truly dreadful meal my partner & I received from Ranna. Our 1st sight of the radioactive pink Channa Daal with it's pure sugar syrup sauce gave me a sense of foreboding that the meal did nothing to lessen.Every dish was poor, not even mediocre.Piss poor would have been a compliment for such dire fare as this. Its an insultingly patronizing approach to Indian cuisine that doesn't allow for the fact that people might actually know what these dishes are meant to taste like My advice to anyone contemplating ordering a meal from Ranna,is DON'T.Buy a Madjur Jaffrey cookbook instead.

I had my birthday there - 14 of us - the service was so good, and we had so much tasty food for a very good price. I will definitely recommend this restaurant in the future and can't wait to return.

They advertise a ‘Buffet Night’ in a poster on the door. Didn’t even get through the door when a very rude man (the owner?) told me “it’s finished…a long time ago”. I suggested they should take the poster down then, which he started to do. Went round the corner and had a nice curry at the Lavan’s Spice. As I walked back passed on my way home the poster was back in the window! They are openly LYING to customers advertising a buffet night they don’t actually do! AVOID!!!

Ordered via ubereats. Got food home, Lamb Rogan... NO Lamb. Chicken Madras.. THREE pieces of chicken and 2 lumps of potato. The dips were nothing more than a thimble full. 4 popadums two of which were that stale you could bend them into 4 WITHOUT breaking them. Rang ubereats and was given a paltry £3.42 refund. Rang the restaurant and was called a liar being told there was 8 pieces of chicken (see for yourself) Manager never called back despite being told he would. The only decent thing was the rice and the raita. Don't waste your money 8 quid for a curry sauce and 7 quid for half portion of Madras.
