He estado allí otra vez y fue horrible. No vengas, no!

estupendo lugar. He estado 6 veces y nunca frío o grasiento!

Nosotros no vamos a volver.

This is a lovely restaurant in Downley, High Wycombe. The food is always great, good value and the service is friendly. Take your own alcohol and have a great night out! Nothing is ever too much trouble.

Such a shame there are only 4 reviews for this wonderful restaurant. The food is always tasty, beautifully spiced and fragrant, and service good.

This place has been transformed fairly recently into a smart little curry-house serving goodly portions of excellent (British-style) curry. Cheerful and friendly service combines with large portions of good grub (plenty of veggie options) and an invitation to bring your own booze with no corkage charge. Eagerly anticipating my next visit !

Have had many take aways from here over last 18 months or so. Delivery times always excellent never have to wait too long. Can be really awesome on a good day to just average on a bad day. In all fairness has been excellent last few meals but they just need to be consistent. Recommended.

We have just come home from a very enjoyable weekend in High Wycombe where, up until March last year, we lived. One of the highlights of the visit was a rather last minute meal at Ranasana. It used to be a takeaway only and we had eaten the food once before. It was good. Now, for reasons unknown, it has been converted into a sit down restaurant. The interior is no frills, but clean (both toilets were spotless). We were a party of eight with four adults and four children, two of these were under 5, the other two were teenagers. Two very dear friends, members of our party, still live in Downley and knew the Ranasana very well. Being a Sunday evening, the older gentleman managing the front of house strongly suggested we took advantage of the three course dinner buffet. He gave us a flyer detailing the various dishes to be served to us. We didn't have much choice...it seemed to be the buffet or nothing! However, the lack of choice was only an illusion as, over the course of the next hour and a half or so, we were treated to a huge and delicious meal. It started with traditional popadums with various dips, then a plate of spiced, dry meats with a chick pea dahl and salad. Throughout the meal, the older gentleman was exceptionally friendly, as was his staff. They seemed to enjoy the presence of our children and were very tolerant as the little ones ran around. The next course was two lots of various dishes made with vegetables and meat with hot, fresh naan bread. There was masses and it was all delicious. Thankfully, the two teenagers have hollow legs. Customers are free to bring their own alcoholic drinks. Soft drinks are sold, although it seems our request for cola took them by surprise....a member of staff was dispatched to the adjacent Tesco! Throughout, we were asked if we had what we needed and we responded with smiles and thanks. I don't know if puddings were available but only in a parallel universe could we have fitted it in!! Mind you, make no mistake, the quality of the food was very good. What a lovely experience in what I can genuinely, and rarely, refer to as a community restaurant. For £10.95 per adult and £6.75 per child (with one of our little ones - on this occasion - going free) this was excellent value. I think our friends in Downley will return!

I went here on a Saturday night. It was fairly busy. The service was good. The food was good. We had a lot to eat and we're in and out within 90 minutes so if you want a quick curry that is very good this is the place to go.

We waited 20 minutes for starters had flat drinks waited another 15 for our order to be taken before we got fed up and left, worst Indian experience ever.

Delivery order placed online and then rejected after 10 mins. 5 days for a refund, no one picking up the phone. What a joke!

The curry is grainy and has very little flavour. The chicken is rock hard, it must be pre cooked and frozen. Really poor food.
