Ramshackle Rosie in Cornwall, Isles of Scilly

We went to Ramshackle Rosie for breakfast and simply loved the place; it has a great rock vibe and the food and service are very good. We had the 'Mosh Pit' which was really tasty and excellent value. Ramshackle Rosie is a cool place to eat - great atmosphere, food & service. We loved this place - cheers.

An amazing little cafe tucked away opposite Par Garden Centre serving amazing breakfasts. Dog friendly too! Playing rock music in the background! We had a Moshpit & it was Gorgeous 😍

Visited for Fathers Day breakfast. Love the decor and atmosphere. Really friendly greeting on arrival. Ordered and service was quick & efficient. Freshly cooked and tasty and super generous plates. The coffee, juice and toast included in the price makes it amazing value. We will definitely be back - thanks so much!

Can't fault Ramshakle Rosie never had anything to complain about cleanliness 100 % staff 100% on her own chef 110% bless her back ground music 100% such a lovely place .. go in hungry come out bloated.. plenty of free parking

Tip top from start to end. Warm welcome from the owner. My breakfast was served very hot and plentiful and inclusive of toast, hot drink, and juice. Plenty of choice should you want a sweet or savoury breakfast. Service with a smile. Rock music played, in keeping with the theme of the venue, but it's not intrusive, and you find yourself tapping along. Free parking and dog friendly. Put it on your 'places to go for breakfast' list.

I have to admit I feel a little bit embarrassed. After living in the area for 5 years we had never visited until today. Big mistake!! There is a really comfortable atmosphere, food was freshly cooked and absolutely delicious. Very reasonably priced as set meal included toast, fruit juice and hot drink. Will definitely be visiting again!!

Popped in for a breakfast with my wife. Lovely petit venue with kind staff, greeted on entry and given a good few minutes to decide. I had the large ramshackle and my wife had the baby ramshackle. Impressed with the ingredients, everything tasted great and decent value given that it includes a juice and tea or coffee which also tasted great. Great music playing aswell. We will definitely return.

Great food. After a long drive down to Cornwall we decided to go somewhere different. Great breakfast at a reasonable price and friendly staff. Fried eggs were good (runny but not undercooked). Will go there again.

Have been several times and despite changing hands the new owners have continued the theme. It is a cafe first and foremost but has several different choices to suit all pallates including veggies. Food is always well cooked and good quality, there is decent rock music playing but not too loudly and the walls adorned with rock memorabilia. It is best to book as it does get busy especially at weekends. Would have given 5 stars but the coffee (in my personal view) needs to be improved. Free parking is available on site.

I love this place, always first choice for a fry up with a relaxed welcoming atmosphere . If you have a dog with you (outside seating) they might get a sausage if they’re a good doggy. A good pit stop for bikers, I’d recommend

This is fabulous Little Rock cafe serving up scrumptious breakfasts, I believe they are now doing lunches. The food is delicious and the atmosphere friendly with great music. The owner is fairly new (in the last six months or so) - all staff very friendly and service was great, would thoroughly recommend.

What a great place to have breakfast, we found this by chance and am so glad we did. Inside decor is amazing with places outside to sit too. Food portions are very generous, delicious and great prices. Staff are lovely.

Well what a find it has been - we stopped for breakfast following a long drive down on holiday. The quality of the breakfast, coupled with amazing service means we will definitely be back! Keep doing what you’re doing - it’s simply the best!

Finding a full English breakfast in Fowey and Lostwithiel was a challenge. A real challenge. But we are so happy that was the case as it led us to Ramshackle Rosie!Wish there were more stars to offer for the effort from the three rock stars that run this brilliant cafe. Anita makes breakfast a joy.Local produce, a good menu to suit everyone, two flavours of the most tempting pancakes - every kids dream breakfast, smoked salmon with asparagus (definitely recommend)and hogs pudding- the best we have had yet!The ambience - a reflection of the owners love for Rock music. We enjoyed the music. Nostalgia does set in for those who were around in the 90s.Please please book a table in advance to avoid disappointment. But even if you do forget, they do take away bacon rolls! You will not be disappointed

We go here regularly and always take friends and family here when they come to stay. Excellent food, lovingly prepared by lovely people in a rockin' shack with great music and atmosphere. What's not to love!?

Visited whilst on holiday, great food & choice , good size portions , quirky cafe with lovely atmosphere, even brought a treat for our dogs. Service excellent & friendly by the young people serving us . Great little find , thank you, we will return & highly recommend .

We were visiting Par Garden Centre and saw the sign fo the cafe opposite, very friendly welcome, rock music plying at just the right volume so you heard it but could still converse, we had the breakfast deal which included juice tea or coffee and toast, nicest breakfast for ages and superb value, now our go to breakfast venue when staying at nearby trenython manor which we do at least once a year, super job guys thank you

Came here this morning and had an absolutely amazing delicious breakfast with my partner and 2 dogs . Such good value and staff were so friendly and kind . Doggies even got a free sausage! If we are down this way again we will return! Thank you xxx

Very friendly unique cafe. Not something you’d expect to find just off main road on trading estate. Food was fresh, good quality and cooked well. From full breakfast to chocolate pancakes and smoked salmon and scramble eggs, yummy.Fun, eclectic decor playing rock music which made the ambiance really unique. Owners and staff very friendly. Typical of good small business with lots of love and passion. These enterprises need to be fully supported. Go and enjoy!

Ramshackle Rosy's is an experience worth having especially if you are a fan of rock and roll, The food is quality, well cooked and delicious. Price is very reasonable. Go and treat yourself.

A friendly warm welcome awaited us at Ramshackle Rosie. I had heard about it from family and decided to pay a visit. Suitable for all ages the music was subtle but audible. The cafe warm and comfortable. The service efficient and friendly. The food amazing, freshly cooked and value for money. Well done Anita and Mark. I will definitely be returning and would recommend that people come and see for themselves. Great!

Had a wonderful brunch here. Food was so yummy and great value for money... Couldn't actually finish it as the portions are so generous. Great rock memorabilia and music, and cute music quiz cards to play while you wait. Staff were friendly without being over bearing. Really worth a visit.

What a fantastic breakfast. Just loved the service and the food. Great selection of different breakfasts all with Toast, Juice and Hot Drink included. I had Bubble and Squeak with Eggs, Bacon, and Mushroom. The other three had small, large and medium breakfasts - all great.

Living nearby use Ramshackle Rosie often. Service good, food excellent and great atmosphere. Mainly breakfasts, which include the usual fry ups but also pancakes, sweet or savoury. Have tried most, love that they have funky names and twists to run of the mill i.e. Herby potatoes or bubble and squeak. Good also that they include juice, toast and tea/coffee in the price. Now branching out into baguettes and other meals from 12.00. All food freshly prepared so may be a little wait but worth it. Downside not a large place so sometimes no room and do not visit if you are put off by rock music.

Reviews for this place seemed to be ok so we thought we would give it a try, food was quite a limited choice but ok, the music I'm afraid was not what we were expecting, far too heavy for us.. Not really what a fairly outgoing couple are quite used too, heavy rock on a Sunday morning,,, hmm maybe not for us, If you love hravy rock band type music this place is ideal for you,

I found this hidden gem a little over a year ago and in that time, I have made it my mission to personally take as many of my friends and family to ramshackle Rosie as soon as I can. The food is second to none,the atmosphere is the best and the welcome you get from both mark and Anita is amazing. I truly love the way they greet dog owners as even the dog gets a sausage! (sadly I’m not a dog owner)

Great place for brunch. I had the maple and bacon pancakes. So fluffy yet filling, and plenty of thick cut bacon. Havnt had pancakes better.

Here again, always a warm friendly welcome when we walk in. The breakfast offer today was x2 baby breakfasts for a tenner, the wife added hash browns while I added mushrooms and a side of maple pancakes (I know greedy b*gger, I told her not to have the hash browns) a pot of tea, juice and toast was promptly served, the breakfasts soon followed. Delicious food and friendly chatty owners. This is now a regular every time we visit Charlestown area. Call in you’ll love it.

10 of us came for breakfast without letting them know first and what a fantastic breakfast we all had. Everyone had something they liked in the menu and the cooked breakfasts weren’t greasy at all.

Been here before, this time took the daughter and her fiancé for breakfast. Rosie soon attended to us, very chatty and Polite, we were offered that days special which was two amazing breakfasts for £12 (sorry can’t remember what they were called) the wife and daughter had smaller breakfasts. Tea and juice included. Superb quality food cooked to perfection. Surrounded by rock memorabilia with rock playing in the background. Great atmosphere, you don’t have to be a rocker to visit, everybody is welcome.

Walked in to The Almighty playing and Lemmy on the wall, can’t really go wrong. Lunch for two egg, sausage and bacon bap with a strong coffee. Runny egg proper sausage and crispy bacon great place to go

If you’re ever near St Austell and you’re hungry, you have to visit this place. It’s a great little family run business and they are lovely people.

This independent Cafe is definitely worth a visit, sorry no pictures, but the food is plentiful and of great quality. The staff have all got grins on their faces, and are happy to help. Lots if rock posters and instruments on the walls. A definite one off. Call in the say hi!

We were staying at East crinnis campsite just next door and saw the sign for the cafe and thought breakfast would be nice, called to check they accept dogs, check. We arrived and just big smiles came across our faces the whole place is geared to rock. I had the baby ramshackle, both my husband and our 7 year old daughter had make your own. Drinks included with the breakfast, which was a nice change. Anita and Mark who are the owners did a great job, the young lady serving was brilliant, shame not some older waitresses have the same level of common sense as her, her parents should be very proud. Atmosphere, cooking, services was ace. We will certainly be back, anyone out there looking for another ace cafe, try it, can't recommend enough.

Lots of friends had told me about this rock cafe. As soon as you enter the cafe you realise this is going to be something different. The walls and ceilings are covered in rock posters and memorabilia, motor bike handle bars on the bar and rock music playing in the background. We ordered 2 small breakfasts (deal of the day) and a fat lad breakfast for me, the food was served in good time and was very hot. Lovely quality food, generous portions and a good price. It also came with a large pot of tea for us all. Owners are very friendly, great experience, will definitely visit again. Rock on.

Visited recently for the first time as visiting our granddaughter. She took us there! I ordered the panckaes, bacon and maple syrup! Phew! Couldn`t finish it. Lovely! Great food and definitely want to go back again.

Was told of this shed with a music vibe, absolutely the best breakfast I've had for ages! Fantastic ambience, great food, amazing value for money, can't wait to return. Warning....the portions are huge, freshly cooked to order, have heard they do a carvery on Sundays, will give that a go too. Great menu with full English, American pancakes on offer too, great coffee.

We had our family visit us from Bristol and suggested we go here for breakfast on our way to the Eden Project, we phoned in advance to book a table for 10 of us including 3 children and a baby and were accommodated even though the cafe was closing earlier than normal due to commitments elsewhere. When we arrived we were immediately welcomed and had two tables reserved for us, after sitting down and being awestruck by all the amazing music memorabilia that covers every inch of the walls and ceiling we managed to take a look at the extensive menu which also brings a smile to your face with some of the music related titles of the dishes on offer. Considering how busy it was, the small friendly staff didn't fail to deliver a very tasty breakfast and a very good pot of tea (and we're fussy about our cuppa!) All in all if you like your rock music and a good hearty start to your day you can not go wrong with paying this little gem a visit, Thanks Guys!

Friendly owners make you feel welcome in this amazing rock cafe! The music is brilliant and not so loud that you can't talk; good dogs are welcome, food is a plentiful portion and nicely cooked. You'll spend ages looking at all the rock memorabilia/posters and concert tickets on the walls and ceiling. It's like being back in your bedroom and being a teenager again!! Thoroughly recommend!!!

Introduced to this place by friends, if you like decent music, a good quality fry-up, lovely staff, excellent value and characterful surroundings visit Ramshackle Rosie you won't be disappointed. I recommend booking as it is not a big place and is increasing in popularity as word gets around.

Great breakfast, lots of variety to choose from. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. Portion size is really good and you get a decent size cup of tea or coffee along with a juice of your choice too. The prices are so reasonable especially for what you get.

A little tucked away and just as it's title describes our family of five and two children under two had a great breakfast at a fair price some times it's good for a place to be different and this is one of them.well done we wish you all the best for the future

The place is decorated with music memorabilia and listen to some good tunes will enjoying a relaxing eat and drink. In proper mugs. There is an outside area to sit at if preferred. A great little gem of a place.

Love going here, food always good, and a nice atmosphere. Not a lot of room so you might have to wait for a seat at busy times.

After hearing great reviews about this place we decided to give it a go! And what a pleasant surprise! (I say that being an incredibly fussy eater!) we ordered two £9 breakfasts... I think it was called a big Rosie..... and it certainly didn't disappoint ... huge portions of home cooked food.... nice quality ingredients and fast friendly service. It was great to see black pudding and hogs pudding on the menu too!! (Proper chunky slices) Fabulous atmosphere and I can imagine it gets very busy! Will defiantly be returning and supporting this place! And it's defiantly not a greasy spoon!

Loved it here, friendly in every way, great cheese on toast, more than I could eat, wasn't expecting all that....good value, coffee not too great, but hey! who cares, even the dog was given a sausage, he is coming back, and so are we.

We popped in for brunch not long before closing today. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. We ordered two breakfasts that not only came with a hot drink, but toast and juice as well. Very fairly priced. The ingredients were obviously of good quality, especially the sausages which I loved. I'm very fussy with sausages and usually end up icing them to my husband but he was disappointed this time because I ate everything! We live 2 minutes away and have decided this is our new favourite weekend hangout. Music was great, right up our street. Would definitely recommend and will be back! Thank you!

Great food hidden away between St Austell and Par. If you're on the road and hungry this is the perfect spot. With continuous music this friendly rock themed café is interesting and quite unique - not that the music distracts in any way.
