Found this when visiting Margate for the day. Great choice of flavours and unlike other places can get a smaller ice cream for the little ones. I had the ginger and marmalade flavour and wow - it was probably the nicest ice cream I have ever had. The rest of the flavours we had were superb too. It beats a certain famous establishment in a nearby resort hands down. A gem and worth seeking out if in Margate.

Stumbled up this lovely venue. Real mix of nostalgia (it’s linked with a retro/ art shop). Honestly one of the creamiest ice creams I have had (coffee fudge and pistachio- separate flavours as you get two scoops in a regular cone - the large ones were huge) great value as well. Defo 5 star.

Superb ice cream! The Salted Caramel flavour was delicious, the shop was clean and the staff were friendly, would recommend!

Wow I never write reviews but driven by my love of ice cream i have been to a lot of artisan ice cream shops and at R&W i had the very best ginger ice-cream I've ever had.... I would have bought tubs and tubs of the stuff if I thought I could have got it home safely to London. Thank you ... a real treat ....

The best ice cream I have ever tasted! My husband and I had double cones containing pistachio, chocolate, honey comb and hazelnut praline and they were absolutely delicious!!

Visited here today and had the coffee, walnut and fudge flavour ice cream, which had a really strange cloying/bitty texture and as other reviewers have mentioned was overly fatty. Not great.

I adore ice cream and have traveled all over the world and I have never ever ever thrown an ice cream away until today. Me and my friend both had the Ginger and Marmalade and all I can say was it was like eating a frozen block of lard. It has the most disgusting texture and feel in the mouth it was greasy and fatty. My friend was being polite as I had bought it, but as soon as I said what it was like he 100% agreed and was about to say the same thing. We threw it straight into the bin and went to buy a drink to wash our mouths out. If you got a huge scoop of lard and chilled it with some flavour this is what it was like. Gross.

It’s always a joy to find homemade, handmade ice cream for sale rather than mass produced. And when they’ve made a proper dairy-free ice cream too, rather than just assuming us dairy-free types are happy to always settle for sorbet, it makes me even happier! We got there just as they were opening so had a huge choice. Between us we savoured honeycomb, hazelnut praline & salted caramel on the dairy front, and a gorgeous hazelnut chocolate flavour on the dairy-free side, compete with a crunchy gluten-free waffle cone, and I noted with joy they stocked Booja-Booja too. If only all ice cream parlours were as fabulous as this.

Amazing ice cream. Really creamy and the salted caramel ice cream is the best salted caramel ice cream I’ve ever had. Friendly quick service and very well priced. Can highly recommend.

Super ice cream, lovely selection of flavours and the ice cream was just so creamy and rich. I had mint chic chip and it was perfect balance of mint and choc!

Ive eaten a lot of ice cream in my time and i must say this is the best ive had. If you likely super creamy ice cream with lots of flavour go here!

Had some of the best ice creams we have had, quite a feat! The honeycomb was super creamy with honeycomb chunks, the chocolate was super chocolaty and not too sweet and the cones were good too. Would definitely recommend.

Not sure what the previous reviewer is on about. I had a stem ginger & marmalade ice cream last week and it was a stunner. A subtle, under-stated foundation of marmalade with chunks of sharp stem ginger. Would travel to Margate again just to grab another cone

I am a bit perplexed by excellent ratings given to this establishment. I must say I have just had probably the worst ice cream in my long life. Two scoops: stem ginger & marmalade and salt caramel. Both should have quite pronounced tastes. What I got was totally devoid of flavour, any flavour. Completely tasteless chilled substance with cloying texture, that left unpleasant greasy film on my lips. Big artificial con!

I had a lemon curd ice cream here back in summer, and I think it speaks volumes that I'm still thinking about it enough on 26th November to come back and leave a review! Outstanding.

Lovely ice cream shop in the old town. Best ice cream that we've had in a long time, and at attractive wafer added for good measure. Plenty of space inside for social distancing.
