It was 20 of us. We were celebrating my father’s in-law birthday. I can say waiters here are very hard-working people. Especially our waitress Naza. However, sometimes they need to be more attentive, ‘cause it was a few times when we asked for water, cutlery or some more glasses and they did not bring it unless we asked again. But, I think they were very busy, as it was Saturday afternoon, so it’s OK. Oh, and the children were so happy and excited with ice cream in the toy bowls. Such a nice idea to do it! We enjoyed our celebration and our friends as well. P.S. If you are planning an invent here, I would recommend you to make a preorder, of some aperitive (calamari, prawns, etc) and that main plates with plenty of rice, chicken etc., the rest, like drinks, of course, you leave for your guests to choose. It will safe you time and nerves 😅 ‘Cause it’s pretty Hurd to place an order, as in my case no one didn’t know what do they want, so in conclusion I chose what everyone gonna eat.

I can honestly say apart from the Turkish food in North London, this restaurant has ticked all my boxes for food, flavour and portions. Every dish has flavour and great seasoning and the service is spot on and they work hard and keep every fed and watered. I recommend to anyone and you will not be disappointed

We were greeted in a very friendly, humorous manner and sat down. A big, shiny place, a bit like an airport lounge but not unpleasant. We looked at the menus and a girl came to take our order. Many of the dishes (c.£17-£29) came with bulgar wheat or rice. They also have baby potatoes on the menu. We ordered 2 mains and asked if we could have potatoes instead of the other 2 options as neither of us eat those. She simply said "No, you can't change". I asked to speak to a Manager. He cam over and asked if everything was ok. I said "no, not yet" and repeated the request. He also said "no, you cannot change and we would have to charge you extra for the potatoes". Really?! Yep, really. We got up and left. We went to "To Kefi" round the corner instead and it was excellent- super friendly family vibes, great food and really good value. I'd advise anyone to do exactly the same (except without the contemptuous, disdainful treatment at Ramo's first!)

Maybe food and service is fine but bosses should be ashamed of never paying on a time or not paying at all for workers living them and they families with difficulties

We have been ordering takeaways from this restaurant for 2 years now, and this evening we decided that we would dine in person, to celebrate an important occasion. The initial welcome to the restaurant was pleasant, as was the service (initially) at the table. However, the behaviour of one of the waiting staff, was not acceptable, as this individual was seemingly in a bad mood when it came to interacting with our table. Said member of staff, kept on bumping chairs into the seat that my wife was occupying, which only stopped when my wife looked at this member of staff in disbelief. The behaviour of this particular individual was hostile, unwelcoming and stained our visit to the restaurant, that we had looked forward to dining at. It feels like the dishes are accompanied by an overload of warm salad which is wholly unnecessary. Midway through finishing our meal, we asked the member of staff if they could wipe the table down, to clean up sticky marks and bits of food, also as we had noticed that she was hovering over our table, which was extremely awkward. At one point, the member of staff went off to confer with her colleague, to which this second colleague condescendingly informed us that her colleague (waitress one) “knows how to do her job” whilst patronisingly touching my wife’s shoulder, this was besides the point as we were not calling the first waitress’ ability into question. We asked this member of staff (waitress one) if we could take the remainder of our food away, to which she impolitely shoved two containers onto our table, in between the plates, without trying to make space between the dishes. This final part was a clear indication of the issue that this member of the waiting staff had with our presence. At the point of leaving, we felt the evening had been very negatively impacted, thus we paid our bill and promptly left. We will not be returning to or ordering again from this restaurant. Would not recommend dining here.

I was very happy with the service provided by Erhan and the food was amazing!!

We booked for diner last Saturday for 5 people. Food quality wasgood and the meat was very tender and delicious sides. Dessert and tea were also nice. The lady who took our order Nazz was very cheerful and when the place became less crowded , she played our favorite songs and we were dancing next to the table . It was fun atmosphere and definitely going back again.

Lovely, spacious restaurant with a great atmosphere. Went on a Saturday evening so it was very busy but we didn’t have to wait long for our food. We had the big sharing platter and it went down a treat. Had the mojito cocktail which was delicious. Our dessert was so lovely and the Turkish tea accompanied it perfectly. Would definitely come back!

We had a great lunch Friday 31st May. Good & attentive server called Mursel (albania/turkish) who was always checking with us to see if everything ok, which it was. He was polite & very helpful which you do not see nowadays. Lastly very professional and a true credit to your restaurant. Thank you, Mursel

Fantastic food, service, atmosphere - had some of the best Turkish food I've ever had the pleasure to try. Went for an occasion to celebrate and really had a fantastic time. It's not cheap but most definitely worth it.

Great pla e for a birthday meal.

Went here for a birthday meal on a Saturday night. The food was lovely, the lamb chops particularly well cooked. The only thing that could have been better was the service as the staff seemed incredibly overwhelmed by the number of people dining that night they become aggressive and rude. At one point one of the senior waiters practically grabbed the credit card from my hands forced into his card machine. You would think they would know how to handle a large crowd by now, but besides this, the food and atmosphere was great.

We wanted to come and try the food and see the place to book for a big party food wasn’t that great the portions very small we tried to complain but the waiter was soooo rude once you pay the bill you have to leave or they kick you out we asked to talk to the his boss he keep saying his the boss . They treat Turkish ppl better than other nationalities Don’t go to that place save your money

I would say that even though the food was nice, it definitely is very overpriced for what it was. The prices don’t reflect the quality of the food nor the portion size; it more so reflects that they need to pay off the rent and the decor for the restaurant that they most likely splashed out on. Don’t even get me started on the service because it was awful - it was obvious the staff didn’t want to be there working, they were slamming plates and cutlery together when cleaning the table, everything was done in a rush as if we were an inconvenience, and they even criticised what we wanted to order for drinks and food. It’s a shame because this place has great potential but unless management care about their future, I suggest doing some serious training or recruiting for staff to make the food better and the staff better at service. Don’t think I will be returning here again.

Nicely food there is wide selection. service is good but too fast it feels like the staff rushing u so u can eat quickly and leave to make a space for next customer. Very busy also aloud ( combination of loud music and people talking) Not a relaxing place to chill and eat

5 stars from me to the Lamb Shish kebab-it is the best comparing with other places. I also like their complimentary salads, the bread and the people who serve you usually humble and friendly. Kids menu ice cream is overpriced. The flamboyant interior is interesting - not a fan of plastic flowers personally but who cares when you indulge in the best Lamb Shish in town.

Fantastic and delicious Turkish food 👌 is being cooked in Ramo's restaurant. Fresh salads, delicious starters, and succulent meats grilled and cooked to perfection. Amazing and flavoursome Turkish coffee that makes Starbuck's coffee taste like water. Very posh looking, spacious interiors, and professional service put this place on my list to Dine In whenever visiting Kingston.

I went there a couple of months ago for my mum's birthday and I have to admit that the experience was one of a kind. Not only do they offer an exquisite selection of meat, but the service is also pretty good, especially for a big reastaurant as theirs. I would 100% go back there to eat, as a amatter of fact, I can't wait to go back.

I been to the restaurant 3 times and each time I was disappointed with the food. The service comes very late and the meat is served before it is fully cooked and is very oily. Also, the service fee should not be reflected in the invoice and if the customer requests and is satisfied, he should not be obliged to pay the service fee.

Beautiful waiting staff, so warm and friendly. Food was so tasty as always!! Naza made us feel very special also!! I’ll be coming back for sure!!

Large, vibey Turkish restaurant. Busy yet spacious. Nice atmosphere. The staff are very attentive! Lots of complimentary items as part of the usual hospitality, I.e., cacik, bread, salad, Turkish tea, etc. Babaganoush was very nice. Salad, good standard, very fresh ingredients, nice dressing. The Albanian liver was tasty and had that classic liver (with onions) flavour. Earthy and flavourful, without being overly strong. The chicken wings were really tasty. However, the star of the show was the lamb. Tender, succulent, so tasty. Classic charcoal grill vibes! They also had a homemade lemonade with mint - nice and refreshing. Will definitely visit again and focus on the grilled meats!

Lovely food. The mixed kebab & salmon is gorgeous.

Not impressed. Ask for tap water as they charge £4-80 per bottle otherwise. Had a skish dish with yogurt. Chicken was good but served on soggy pitta bread which filled over half the dish. Mixed salad was nice and best part of meal. Expensive for what we had. Not worth paying service charge won't be back thank you.

The food is legendary. I was going to the northern region before, but now I haven't been there for about a year and every time I come, the staff named Naz takes care of us very much and we are extremely pleased. We come once a week. Nazz it the word best waitress 🥰🥰😘😘😸😸😸

Went to this place for a meal with family, great place to go, there was parking outside which was busy, but Asda car park is there so have the option to park there. The restaurant itself has a nice vibe and atmosphere, feels very open, the decor is nice. The staff are very friendly and welcoming and make an effort to talk, only thing is that can be a bit slow service, but can put it down to how busy they were. The drinks were good and the food was nice, had the ramos special and the mixed cold meze.

We had a colleague’s leaving-do here with approximately 30 people and they were able to sit us all in one very long table. The food was good and they have large servings and a variety of options in the menu. The staff were also welcoming and friendly. Almost all the tables around us were celebrating birthdays so we witnessed the staff singing and bringing birthday cakes quite a few times during that night. The team that served us that night did very well considering the number of people on our table and how we split the bill. Thank you Naza, Xhelol, and Rodvon.

Came here for my brother’s birthday and the food was amazing. The service however, was even better! We were served by Naza and she made sure our time there was immaculate, served us with a smile and made our experience at Ramos lovely. My brother really enjoyed it and we will definitely be back!!

Terrible service. Most of the waiters just pretending to be nice. Apart from a nice lady (tattooed on her arms) Was super cool. Smiling and helpful. Food was average. But super pricey I'd never recommend Ramos . It's the worst Turkish restaurant I'v ever had. Few pieces of meat both dishes . And we paid 75£

I’ve been to Ramo’s a few times now and I can say it has been not too bad. I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the service we received during our recent visit to Ramos restaurant in Kingston upon themes on 28th April 2024. Unfortunately, our experience was marred by several significant issues that we feel compelled to address. Firstly, the behavior of our waiter was completely unacceptable. Not only were they rude and inattentive, but their demeanor throughout the meal was utterly unprofessional. It was evident that they lacked the basic understanding of customer service and failed to meet even the minimum standards expected in the hospitality industry. Furthermore, the lack of parking space made it incredibly inconvenient for me and other patrons to access your establishment. This oversight significantly detracted from the overall dining experience and left a negative impression. Additionally, we were disappointed by the limited options available on the menu. The lack of variety made it challenging to find a suitable dish, and it ultimately resulted in a subpar dining experience. Moreover, we felt rushed to make our selections from the menu, and our orders were delivered with little regard for our preferences or dietary restrictions. Lastly, the excessively loud music in the restaurant created an unpleasant atmosphere and made it difficult to engage in conversation with my dining companions. The noise level was disruptive and detracted from the overall ambiance of the establishment. In light of these issues, I urge you to take immediate action to address these concerns and ensure that future patrons do not have to endure similar experiences. As a loyal customer, I expect a higher level of service and professionalism from your establishment. I sincerely hope that you will take this feedback seriously and implement the necessary changes to improve the quality of service at your restaurant. In conclusion, based on my experience, I cannot in good conscience recommend this restaurant to anyone. The numerous issues I encountered during my visit reflect poorly on the establishment's management and overall quality. I implore others to seek dining options elsewhere !

Food was good but not worth the price. They got the order wrong, missed some of the food we had ordered. Definitely had much better turkish food for a lot less. Also, the staff was being especially rude. Never experienced anything like this before at the restaurant. Ruined the whole meal and atmosphere.

Been going to Ramos since it was first opened. Returning customer because the owner was very nice. On a visit today, I experienced poor customer service. Raised concern with the manager and seemed like he was least bothered about it. Missed some of our order, no napkins for the table, no glasses for half the table, refused to serve Turkish tea and rude staff. We were a group of 26 people and expected a better service.

We had the best service today with Naza, the mix grill sharing platter was so delicious! It is the best place to celebrate any of your family member birthdays 🎂 Great vibes here!

This was the second time we have been to Ramos. It was a pleasant experience and our food came very quick by our server naza. All the food we ordered was top tier. Very great and delicious.

Came in at 7pm with a booking with my wife and the service was one of the best we’ve ever had. We were served by Naza who was very friendly and made us feel comfortable and welcomed. As well as being looked after and having our table maintained by Simo (not sure if that’s how you spell it). He was very smiley and energetic to all of the tables and definitely stood out as a waiter. Overall all the staff were outstanding, including the man at the door and the kitchen staff who were very polite. Cannot wait to come back again and definitely recommend Ramos to everybody!!

Probably the most succulent lamb I have tasted along with fresh salad for a long time. Amazing atmosphere and lovely setting with high ceilings.

We had some lovely Turkish cold and warm meze there. The food was delicious, the service very quick and the place had a really good buzz. It is also good for groups of diners.

THE WORST OF THE WORST Unfortunately, we made the mistake of going to Ramo's Turkish Kitchen on the first day of Ramadan Feast. First, since the reservation was over capacity, we were kept waiting at the door for a while to place the guests at the tables. Then we were placed at a table under a loudspeaker. Thinking that we would not be able to talk comfortably because the environment was already noisy and the sound was coming from the speaker at a high level; we suggested that either the sound coming from the speaker should be turned down or we should move to another table. The person who said his name was Ramazan and was the manager of Ramo's Turkish Kitchen stated that our request was "a little impossible" and that he could only lower the volume of the music a little and that we should sit in our current place. When we got to the stage of ordering, the series of disasters began!!! We ordered meze, lahmacun and main course. About ten minutes later, while we were waiting for the appetizers, the main courses were served directly. The waiter who served us to the surprised looks of everyone at the table said, "today is a feast, forgive". After the main course, the lahmacun was served. We ate the kind of lahmacuns that made us say "I think they forgot to put the minced meat". Our appetizer orders were not served. When we warned that the appetizers were not served, the waiter who took care of our table said that he would not add the appetisers on the bill. We couldn't figure out whether he said this as a joke, whether he was trying to be cute or whether he was serious. (Fortunately, the appetisers that we really ordered and couldn't eat were not included in the bill) We received the same answer to all our warnings every time; "it's a holiday today, forgive". Unfortunately, in an extremely noisy environment, under the high-volume loudspeaker, we tried to chat with each other by shouting at each other. And the finale was the biggest disaster. After we paid the bill (a not insignificant amount was paid) a guest asked for a cup of coffee. Although they were aware of all kinds of negativities and had the opportunity to make up for their mistakes to some extent by offering a cup of coffee, they also charged a coffee fee of £ 3.80. We realized that the establishment is also ignorant of table culture and table manners... It is a place where I will definitely not go again, even, if possible, I will not even pass in front of it, I will not recommend it to any of my acquaintances...

Ramazan Bayramı birinci günü maalesef Ramo’s Turkish Kitchen’a gitme gafletinde bulunduk. Öncelikle kapasite üzeri rezervasyon alınmış olduğu için gelenlerin masalara yerleştirilmesi için kapıda bir süre bekletildik. Ardından yüksek sesli yayın yapılan bir hoparlör altına denk gelen bir masaya yerleştirildik. Ortam zaten gürültülü olduğu ve hoparlörden de yüksek seviyede ses geldiği için rahat konuşamayacağımızı düşünerek; ya hoparlörden gelen sesin kısılmasını ya da başka bir masaya geçmemizi önerdik. Adının Ramazan olup, Ramo's Turkish Kitchen’ın işletmecisi olduğunu söyleyen kişi talebimizin “biraz mümkün olmadığını” belirterek sadece müziğin sesini bir miktar azaltabileceğini ve mevcut yerimizde oturmamız gerektiğini söyledi. Sipariş verme aşamasına geldiğimizde felaketler dizisi de başlamış oldu !!! Meze, lahmacun, ana yemek siparişlerimizi verdik. Yaklaşık on dakika sonra meze beklerken direk ana yemekler servis edildi. Masada herkesin şaşkın bakışlarına servisimizi yapan garson “bugün bayram, idare edin” dedi. Ardından lahmacun servis edildi. “Kıymasını koymayı unutmuşlar galiba” dedirten türden lahmacunları ana yemekten sonra yedik. Meze siparişlerimiz ise servis edilmedi. Masamızla ilgilenen garson mezeleri hesaba yazmayacağını söyledi. Bunu şaka olarak mı söyledi, şirinlik mi yaptı, ciddi miydi bizler çözemedik. (Neyse ki gerçekten siparişini verip yiyemediğimiz mezeler hesaba dahil edilmemişti) Tüm ikazlarımıza her seferinde aynı cevabı aldık; “bugün bayram, idare edin”. Maalesef, son derece gürültülü bir ortamda, ne duyulduğu belli olmayan yüksek volümlü hoparlör altında bizler de birbirimiz ile adeta bağrışarak sohbet etmeye gayret ettik. Ve final tüm olumsuzlukların üzerine tuz biber serpercesine herşeyi berbat etti. Hesap ödendikten sonra (pek de hafife alınmayacak bir tutar ödendi) bir konuk kahve istedi. Her türlü olumsuzluğun farkında olup, hatalarını bir nebze affetirebilme olanağını yakalamış olmalarına rağmen 3.80 Pound tutarında kahve ücreti de talep edidi. Anladık ki işletme; masa kültürü, masa adabından da bihaber… Bir daha kesinlikle gitmeyeceğim, hatta mümkünse önünden dahi geçmeyeceğim, hiçbir tanıdığıma tavsiye etmeyeceğim bir yer…

The portions were More than I was expecting. Friendly staff, and willing to accommodate. Love it.

Unfortunately it’s not the best dining experience I’ve had. Awful food, average service. I won’t be coming back to this place again.

Fresh, fantastic flavours. The salad, bread and dip makes a superb start. It was delicious the first time. The second time I popped in solo as I felt like something fresh and nutritious. Great service. Fantastic view of the guys in the kitchen.

Honestly This is the WORST restaurant we have ever been too!! And I don’t just mean Using the Turkish food cuisine banner. It’s the WORST restaurant I ever been. All the mezze are reused totally unhygienic and meat prep does not follow any HSE guidelines. Avoid at all cost.

I’ve seen many restaurants with 5* ratings and didnt deserve it but this one does for sure! Everyone was so incredibly nice, the food was fresh and came quickly. All the waiters were very attentive and smiling all the time. They cleaned the table after we finished the food but not the drinks. Many posh restaurants do not know this etiquette! Highly recommend!

Took my mum here for Mothers Day - we both had the grilled fish and it was delicious. Even though it was very busy we didn’t have to wait too long and the service was very good. Only problem was it was raining that day, and the stairs to the toilets up stairs were very slippy. Was also a bit of a long wait for the men’s loos! Other than that, brilliant place with great selection of food. Mum loved it.

Great food and ambience but pricey!

Lamb sish was really well marinated, soft and tasty. Paca soup was extraordinarily well made. Meze platters and Pide were delicious. I can recommend lamb liver as well. Lahmacun on the other hand needs to be improved, taste was good but dough was too crispy and bubbled so it was hard to roll it. In overall, really good food, service and ambience + free parking, so you don't have to go to North London for real and tasty Turkish food anymore, but beware Ramo's is pricier than all of the North London restaurants.

Took my two sons here today, the food was great and the staff had great banter with the kids. They dont look very a like because they have different moms but they enjoyed their kebab and salad

I went with my family for an iftar meal, and we had a brilliant time. Considering it was rather busy, they were as accommodating as possible, and the food was great. On top of that, the staff were very friendly, and joyous and brought a lot of smiles and laughter too! Highly recommend to anyone to give them a visit!
