After booking for 7 it seems they forgot about us. Rushed a table together in a space that couldn't squeeze a hobbit into, after moving us we sat to eat an waited for my autistic sons separate order of fish fingers and chips, after his food arrived an we was all finally eating the staff kept coming over to us hoping to hurry us up as they had clearly overbooked the restaurant, after the 6th time of a member of staff coming to try an clear the table when we had not finished I'd had enough an left. All they did was put pressure on us to hurry up an eat our food. I'm disgusted the way they also spoke to a couple of paying customers also in the restaurant. I will never recommend or use this restaurant again. Food was substandard and the buffet deserts was non existent. Complete waste of 140 quid!!!!!

my order was missing a rice, I called to let them know, they said they would send another and nothing turned up.

It’s bad when I have to finish cooking the tikka sauce. It was so thick and barely any in either pots. The korma taste weird and was split and watery, couldn’t eat it. It’s not cheap so why cheap out for and not cook food properly!! There’s always something wrong with almost every order. Lucky you’re not the only Indian in this town.

Sunday buffet is great value for money, always a wide range of dishes to try and ended up discovering a new fav which I would never have ordered normally! Takeaway portions are large and tasty too and the staff are always friendly! We always grab our Indian takeaway from here and would never go anywhere different.

A cosy place to dine in. Warm welcome every time you visit and food! This is what we are here for. Healthy, tasty and less oil in the curry S. Best part you don't need to spend a lot for drinks. Bring your own alcoholic beverages 🙂🙂🙂

Unfortunately our food tonight was not great. We use Rajpoot regularly both in the restaurant and takeaway. The last few takeaways that have been delivered have not been the best. I have previously given a 5* review but feel I need to be honest with my latest experience. I would like to state the eat in experience is good, but I feel the takeaway service is definitely letting them down. I ordered on their online app, which was all good, when the food arrived it was on time but cold, I had to reheat it myself as much as I could, certain things you just can't reheat quickly. The poppadoms were burnt, black around edges, why would you send this out? Yes I could have phoned and complained but I just feel as this isn't a one off I just won't use again, which is a shame.

Ordered from here many times since we moved to the area. Always great food and fast delivery, my favourite local curry house.

We ordered for collection at 19.45 and received a message at 19.10 to say our food was ready for collection… So by the time we were able to go and collect, the food was cold. The food is usually excellent from Rajpoot, however this evening the Tarka Dhall was very watery and the portion of sag paneer really small. Hopefully next time they will be back to their best.

The app told me my food had bern delivered which it hadn't so I called the restraunt. I was told my order was being packed now & will leave shortly - it arrived 10 -15 mins later. The food was barely warm,curry very bland, poppadoms super soggy. Not nice food. We'll be using the other curry house in town from now on.

Food was OK but overcharged and had an awkward exchange trying to show i was over charged for starters we had not ordered or eaten, not brought to out table even, the manager just offered an Indian beer at me , no refund lol. Since then I've had a bad stomach so beware.

I can be understanding of the order being late, it happens but if your out of stock our mobile numbers are on the order, you can call to sub or cancel order altogether. There was one portion of mixed boiled and pilau rice shared out into 3 pots, and a tikka masala with ZERO CHICKEN! Partner is fuming…Will try again on a not so busy night.

We got everything we ordered and the order came on time. Overall a great curry from a great restaurant.

Ordered at 5pm didn’t turn up till 6.30 rung them and they didn’t even know where it was made out I hadn’t ordered! They then found it and said it would be delivered in 5 mins 20 mins later it turned up and it was awful steal cold and undercooked! Won’t be ordering again!!!

Amazing food, best takeaway in Okehampton

Bittersweet! For takeaways, 10/10, 100% recommend! For dining in, I would not recommend I'm afraid. It becomes unbearably hot and uncomfortable to the point you just can't eat. It'd been so long since we dined in, we'd forgotten this aspect. When food came, things were wrong, but that was okay, mistakes happen, but then our bill was also incorrect. It was handwritten and ineligible. We needed to split it, so we used the menu to add up our choices, and each rounded up to make sure a tip was left, but once everyone had paid, we were still short. When questioned, they became quite frustrated and weren't willing to help to see where we/they may have made a mistake, so that was disappointing. They did tend to take drink orders, which didn't arrive, so perhaps it was the missing drinks that were added? Or the wrong food? It just became a stressful evening that had othwrwise been lovely, so, no, I would not recommend eating in, but I absolutely recommend them for their takeaways, one of the best Indians I've ever experienced!

Ordered a madras for takeaway. Ready in 10 minutes. Good size portion with rice for £8.95. Very tasty. Would recommend.

I love rajpoots food generally speaking, hands down my favorite place to eat in the southwest, must admit i was a little disappointed with my satkora chicken this time, was strangely mild compared the the last few times i ate it, and the rice was cold, that said, this is the first time i'v ever had this problem, and everyone has off days, the chicken chatt and naan were both exceedingly high quality as i'v come to expect from rajpoot. In short, still would recommend, i may have had a suboptimal experience this time, but i know rajpoot is highquality food and high quality service.

On holiday from West Yorkshire thought we'd give Rajpoot a try. Lovely friendly driver . Food absolutely beautiful. Generous portions hot and everything tasted really fresh . Definately 10/10 would highly recommend .

We went with a work group for the Sunday buffet. Amazing!! There was plenty of choice of dishes all looking clean and fresh. Everything I had tasted really nice. Naan breads were ordered separately, but included within the price and for £13.95 it was outstanding value! It’s a bit of a drive from us in Exeter but that certainly won’t deter us from coming back!!

The food wasn't anywhere near as good as it has been in the past unfortunately. It was fairly cold too. It's definitely put me off which is sad as the food used to be so good.

We ordered take away from this restaurant as we were staying in a nearby caravan site for the weekend. The food was delicious, not greasy/oily at all and had plenty of meat in the curry dish! The staff were very lovely on collection and we are just annoyed that we couldn't have eaten in (a very tired baby, nothing to do with the restaurant!). Very reasonably priced too - thank you for a lovely meal!

Not convinced I got what I ordered, and popadoms were soft.

It started off as Hobsons choice as nothing else was open. But turned out to be a really really good option. Sunday night buffet night all u can eat £13.95 Bit of this bit of that. Excellent choice and tasty.

Small portions. Not very hot. Late delivery. Korma was delicious tho!

I did ask for no cabbage, unfortunately my biryani had cabbage in, shame really as usually they read notes when ordering.

Without doubt the best curry for miles around. I took two of my work colleagues the other night and they were very impressed with the quality of the food. It is also reasonably priced for the quality . Special rice is highly recommended.

Best Indian restaurant in town!

Been here many times, always had a good experience.

They will overcharge you if given half the chance. They made me pay almost double than what I ordered just because I was in a group and they couldn't be bothered to separate it properly. Completely ignored me when I asked them to double check the price... Food is average. Will not be returning.
