After spending £45 on rasmalai and rasgulla and other mitai. When I took it home when I dished it up it was all off and smelt so bad and the rasmalai was creamy. I paid cash so doubt would get a refund. Shameful that the owner told me it was long date. He said very long date.Although the mishti said it was in date it clearly was way out of date. He should not have conned a mother of 5 of that much money. Please avoid as I didn't realise someone else said food rating was 1.so disgusting

I love Brick Lane itself, just wanted to warn against eating anything from Rajmahal Sweets. We bought some bits from there today and both sweets and savoury snacks were mouldy/ stale. Clearly not adhering to food standards.

Shop offers sweets, snacks, samosas, East Indian delights. I ordered 2 samosas (lamb and something else, don't remember). Both tasted soggy (i.e., old), not crispy (fresh). Was very disappointed. Didn't ordered any sweets. Proprietor and wife were friendly.
