We had a wonderful set meal. Food was extremely tasty and very fresh. Price was brilliant, staff was excellent. We even met the owner who was extremely welcoming. Thanks for a brilliant authentic Indian experience. Highly recommended.

I always get a great take away from the Raj Mahal. The staff at the front desk are really helpful, polite and awesome. I am so glad that they are local. Keep it up guys!

Well, another venture to Moniefieth in our Motorhome and another visit to this wonderful eatery for me and the wife. Again the staff were welcoming, friendly, chatty, professional but relaxed. The place is clean, tidy and beautifully decorated. Starters: Shammi kebab for me and chicken pakora for the missus. Both delicious and well presented. Add to that popadoms and dips and it's a great prelude to the mains. Mains: Chicken Tikka masala for the wife and prawn vindaloo for me. Shared pilau rice, garlic and cheese naan, peshwari paratha and a tarka dhall on the side. All wonderful. I'm typing this on the morning after and believe me the vindaloo was proper😲🔥🔥😁. Tarka dhall was 100% spot on. Just the way I like it. Great portions too. The only slight niggle was we tried to book a table via their website but got no reply. Just a wee technical glitch I assume. All sorted with a phone call. All in all another extremely enjoyable experience. We will definitely be back, over and over.

Delicious food at great prices.

Phoned was told 1.5 hours phoned after 2 hours .got staff that answer the phone to deliver.and got it half price .so many apologies. Food was brilliant. Thank you so much.

Lovely food service and atmosphere. Reasonable prices which is a big bonus.

Food very nice however service is shocking! Pints of lager dumped on the table in front of my sons partner twice, wine dumped on table unopened to fend for yourself. Another tables drinks dumped on table and had to call staff back to remove the drinks. Would not return as waiting staff require some training for food and drink over priced.

Very nice food and the staff were very friendly. The naan breads were particularly good 👍

Dined here for the first time on Saturday evening along with 2 friends, we were seated as soon as we entered, we were on a time limit so we informed them of this, ordered our starters and main courses which came out super quick, the food was delicious, probably the best Indian food I have ever had, the service was amazing, the ladies were so nice and welcoming, will definitely be back, highly recommended 👌

First time trying this restaurant tonight… walking into the restaurant, the aroma in the air from the kitchen is amazing… definitely not disappointed with the quality and taste of the food… A-maz-ing! Best authentic Indian meal I have had in a long time.. will definitely be a returning customer

A Luvly large. bright spacious restaurant, decorated for Halloween which was luvly. Ordered a bottle of house wine as we looked at the menu,and njoyed pops with chutneys. We ordered a mixed starter for two to share a Railway lamb curry, tandoori mixed grill with pilau rice. and a garlic naan and a garlic chapati . All our food was delicious, freshly made and well presented, I couldn't finish my meal so a doggy bag given. Which was thoroughly enjoyed the next day. Other staff members came over to speak to us during our meal, which was really nice. So thank you to Agata and all the staff. We will return :)

Popped in whilst on a golf holiday , made to feel welcome, food served in good time, tasty , hot good value for money

Food was lovely as always is however, the service was an absolute disgrace! Waited an hour and half for starters. Then waited 45 minutes for a kids ice cream which we ordered before finished food. The wait staff were really rude, really inefficient and a couple of the staff were completely incompetent. Bringing us stuff we hadn’t asked for, saying yous didn’t have ice cream. Just a whole shambles. Love the food but will never be back there again because of the service!

What a fabulous family who run this restaurant so friendly and welcoming. The food was great value for money as the portions are generous. Sadly we missed their tea time deal but we had South Indian garlic chicken and garlic chicken tikka both dishes are very tasty. A lovely end meal to a weekend away in Broughty Ferry

Wanted to try a take away before a dine in meal as we hadn’t been before! Oh my, the take away was absolutely amazing!! Both my husbands and my meal were excellent!! The only thing I would say is that there wasn’t any sauces with the starter-it wasn’t a big deal only an observation!! Can’t wait to try a dine in meal! Highly recommend!!

WOW! WOW! WOW! Visited midweek for the first time. We were blown away by the food-copious quantities of tasty ,flavoursome ,well spiced dishes. The mixed grill tandoori and king prawn tandoori dishes were both cooked to perfection. Our wine was a crisp sauvignon blanc which accompanied the meal perfectly. Service was excellent. Delighted to have met the owner who is a lovely gentleman and a Polish lady who helped us arrange a taxi. We shall be returning in the very near future. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

This is our second visit, food was amazing as were friendly helpful staff. We will be back so handy 5 minutes away from our workplace. Would highly recommend this restaurant.

Visited here with friends after it being recommended. Time of booking 7.30 pm, food served 8.50 pm! After waiting all this time expected something spectacular, it was good but have had better. Friendly staff but got someone's else's drinks bill. It was not broken down and just an overall drinks charge which if not spotted someone else had a cheap night at our expense. Honest opinion, Bombay Joes' in the ferry is better.

Absolute joke of a restaurant waited 40 minutes for a take away which had been sitting on the bar for 30; minutes. management laughed when I complained. Never again

Enjoyed a chicken kebab and an Egyptian kebab last week. Both absolutely mouth-wateringly delicious …oh - and the Pina Colada was perfect! Lovely atmospheric setting with beautiful, caring service too! Thank you!!
