Tried this chip shop for the 1st time last week we had chips and kebabs and we all found it nice will definitely return

Very good service friendly staff fresh healthy food served hot

I visited last night, I don’t usually go to this one, but was passing, I have got to say the worst 10£ I’ve ever spent, anaemic battered sausage ( I couldn’t even cut it) it was rubbery and awful, the chips refried and just awful!!! The best bit was the peas. The young girl that served was lovely to be fair, but had too much jewellery on to be serving food. Very disappointed and won’t be eating there again.

Grate place for food but staff need to sort phone number out as when u call it comes up as carphone wharehouse

Had a large order that that was dealt with in good time. I had Cod and chips ...the fish was the excellent..lovely white flakes, crispy tasty batter. Great chips and good consistency on the curry sauce ..(not wishy washy!) The kebab I was informed by my daughter was fab...and a bonus having cabbage instead of soggy lettuce! All in all lovely lady serving and good food to boot... Recommended!

First time trying the chippy tonight the Staff were really friendly, and the shop was really clean. The food was really nice and chips were hot and not soggy. Defiantly a new favourite.

Absolutely vile!! Feel sick after the tiny bit we did eat. Dont think these people have ever worked in a chippy before 🤢 dont waste your money.

This place is a top spot for fish and chips. The fish was crispy and fresh, and the chips were perfectly cooked. The portions are generous, and the service is quick and friendly. Definitely give it a try!

Called in at this fish bar and after being left stood at the counter for five minutes whilst the guy was on the phone and ignoring me I walked out. What an ignorant thing to do will never go again. Will always use the others and will travel in the car if this one is the only one open. Poor poor customer care

Had a donner kebab...it was awful...I couldn't even eat it!!!

kebab arrived cold, under cooked and had approximately 4 strands of so called meat in it. once I complained the manager bought me a "freshly prepared one" it was obvious that the mystery meat had just been warmed up in a pan, although it did come with a couple of extra strands this time. But unfortunately it was inedible yet again full of gristle and tasted odd, so in the bin it. this place used to be great but I advise people avoid at all costs, save your money.

The freshest of Cod with perfect batter and great chips. Highly recommended.

Called in for the first time in years tonight for 2 x Cod & Chips and a side order of Onion Rings - Excellent, chips were just right, the cod large and tasty and the onion rings perfect. All for a reasonable price too. Well done staff.

Appalling service, appalling food, just appalling .They got my order wrong and I woke up the next morning being sick with food poisoning so did my husband. I don’t recommend. Appalling. Not hygienic what so ever!

This chippy has just turned a corner. Previously under old owners it was poor, but now it's fab. Just had an excelent fish and chips. Excellent value. Best chippy in the area! Well done, and will visit again.

Have not been here for a while as food was never that great with the previous owners but god I wish I had tried this out sooner! Food is cooked in beef dripping and the fish was to die for! Definitely needs the recognition deserves, its like proper seaside chippy food!

Went here for first time only live round corner ,fish freshly cooked to order chips lovely will visit again and recomend to my friends .

Having not long moved to the area we are astounded at this hidden gem and have now become firm regulars. Fish and chips just like they used to be, succulent cod, crispy batter that melts in your mouth and fluffy generously portioned chips. The staff are so friendly and really make you feel welcome. Competitively priced so really good value for money. The best Fish and Chips for miles around, knocks spots off its competitors. Thank you Colin & Suzanne

Decent food, freshly cooked, pleasant staff

No fault on anything . The fish so white and moist with crunchy batter. Nuggets and chips hot and well cooked. Wide range of products on the menu to choose from

Went in and saw there was little available, asked the owner if they had fish and chips ready to go, he said yes. The owner took my money and left me 40 minutes to stand and wait for him to cook the fish. Complete waste of my time and it absolutely was not worth the wait.

Had an excellent kebab. The take away was excellent and absolutely spotless inside would recommend to anyone
